601  Economy / Goods / Re: Time sensitive information for highest interested miner if interested. on: July 19, 2011, 03:28:41 PM

Hey I kept adding Zeros!

As it turns out I probably had the most accurate bid for the value of the "information" delivered. 8^)

Does this merit "Scammer" or merely jerk?
Gotta love trolling flamers, lol.I gave the information and as it was not valuable to the bidder I have started mining free for a week for the highest bidder. If you think adding zeroes is a good reflection of your own bid then do so,lol.
602  Economy / Goods / Re: Time sensitive information for highest interested miner if interested. on: July 19, 2011, 07:26:37 AM
There was only 1 remaining, considering how much some are paying for it with BTCs it is a steal.
603  Economy / Goods / Re: Time sensitive information for highest interested miner if interested. on: July 19, 2011, 05:40:48 AM
Hahaha @Alex-Z,funny !!!!

The bidding still stands and believe Zeroshift is currently in the lead.

Considering it is 3 AM EST this concludes the bidding process w/ Tysat as the winner.Thank you for your time.

How much faster are we talking?  You're being extremely vague, and who's to say that this "time sensitive information" isn't already publicly available?
Hi,sorry I forgot to ask your inquiries. How fast is your rig currently ? Sorry, but if you become the highest bidder I WILL disseminate the information then. However, the highest bidder chooses to use the information will be completely up to them.

Between my main computer and mining rig I'm running about 1950 mh/s.

And on all the questioning... I just try to keep my eye out for scams on this board.  Your information could be legit, but there's no way to tell currently.
It IS legit and can understand why you and many would be frustrated with scams.I am new and also taking a chance on this hence why I even offered to mine FOR FREE for a week to the highest bidder if it was NOT.If that is what you currently get then your hash rates would increase by approx. 17-19 %.

0.051 BTC
0.052 (now I'm dipping into the kids' college fund, so this better be good information)
It is,in fact you'll be able to make it back in no time.
607  Economy / Goods / Re: Time sensitive information for highest interested miner if interested. on: July 19, 2011, 04:02:46 AM
@Deslok

It ends at 3 A.M US Eastern standard time because I wanted to give people time to bid freely and fairly since it was on such short order.Once the bid has ended at 3 A.M and confirmation of BTC has been transfered I will give information in full is definitely worth it.
608  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it ok to sell information for BTC ? on: July 19, 2011, 03:38:34 AM
^No,highest bidder only !!!

If you're interested then just place a bet if not then you have lost.
609  Economy / Goods / Re: Time sensitive information for highest interested miner if interested. on: July 19, 2011, 03:29:25 AM
If you're selling information, why is this in the goods section?  And what type of rig will you be mining on for the person you screw release this info to?
For why check here.
610  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it ok to sell information for BTC ? on: July 19, 2011, 03:18:32 AM
Ha! I hate to say it, but you don't have much rep to lose. You might want to accept that the bidder pay you via an escrow. For example, BTCrow.com
Heh,I know hence why I'm confident enough to do this.I stand to gain more rather than lose.....I think I just grew a chest hair, lol. Thanks for the payment tip, btw.

That is where BTC speaks my friend and it is legit or I wouldn't do it.

So someone has to send you BTC to get some "valuable intel"?  You didn't even say what it was about like increasing mining speed, where to get cheap cards, or something useful like that.
Definitely to increase your mining speed. No doubt.
612  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it ok to sell information for BTC ? on: July 19, 2011, 03:01:46 AM
@Sublimnl,Thanks for that information is completely legal and just wondered if it was ethical to do so as a "trade" or if there were restrictions on the forum to do this.
As long as it's not illegal (that includes copyright), it should be fine as long as it's not some big referal/MLM scam. However, whether or not what you post is allowed is still up to the Mod's discretion.
Alright,That's great to know.No it isn't a scam and I am willing forfeit my account and mine for the highest bidder for 1 week if it is not legit and/or legal.

I have also made a post here just to highlight any transparency.
613  Economy / Goods / [Concluded] Time sensitive information for highest interested miner. on: July 19, 2011, 02:55:03 AM
I know it sounds vague but I definitely wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't according to the etiquette of the board AND legal. You can place your best bets in your post. The highest bidder wins and is limited to 3:A.M. US EST.I will elaborate to only the highest bidder and no this is NOT a scam as I don't have any BTC so just trying this out to earn some, however the information is still 100% legit and worth it.

To highlight, the information could help you mine  faster. In order to show how legitimate it is I'm willing to mine FREE for a week for the highest bidder if it does not help them out and be banned in the process if necessary !!!!

To ensure that no one feels cheated in anyway I will use BTCrow for the transaction.

@Tysat,I don't have a single BTC lol hence I thought I'd try this method. The information is VALID and valuable despite me being new I am quite sure of this.

616  Other / Beginners & Help / Is it ok to sell information for BTC ? on: July 19, 2011, 02:34:51 AM
Yes,I'm a newb and don't know what the etiquette is surrounding this topic, therefore thought I'd ask before doing anything. The information is definitely time sensitive and is quite valuable to those whom mine.
617  Other / Beginners & Help / Where are the cheap 5850's & upcoming Radeons ? on: July 18, 2011, 07:21:35 AM
Currently,I get about 200 Mhash from a Radeon 5770 but was thinking of expanding to 2 5850s for my main rig and Power supply[650W] might just allow it.....only problem is there are practically no HD 5850's around under 170 US or they are completely sold out.I also have another rig where I can place the Radeon 5770 for more potential mining as my goal will be to eventually break the 1 Ghash barrier in the coming months even if just barely.

I was also wondering if anyone thought the upcoming Radeon HD 7xxx series would improve Bitcoin performance judging from the speculation of a change from what is current Radeon architecture to a more like Nvidia-like Fermi architecture.

618  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTCGuild speed different from GUIminer on: July 18, 2011, 02:03:46 AM
Not that I know of other than some settings or flags that some use.It seems that the program doesn't seem to matter on memory speed but loves a good high core gpu speed.Overclocking your core and lowering your memory also not only increases your productivity but less electricity depending on the overclock
619  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about Ambient Room Temps, Air Cooling and Water Cooling on: July 17, 2011, 02:47:46 AM
Best advice I saw someone mention is to re-solder your videocard with good old Arctic Silver 5 or any aftermarket good ceramic that has good conductivity characteristics. It should bring the temps down at least 10-15.
620  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: GUIMiner - Problems communicating with bitcoin RPC on: July 17, 2011, 02:45:08 AM
^^^Lol,After just reading this Guiminer started with the same error again,no joke.I was mining for at least a good ~10 hours though what an experience I find.  Tongue

You're definitely right that it is difficult,I find that the most difficult was actually most of the programs recommended coming here only to find the process for posting was difficult.I can only assume that as more people come that the current software and guides will have to mature to suit the masses not just those that are very technical with just Linux,if not market penetration for Bitcoins could become an issue.I think the idea of mining is great but the software has a long way to mature with an easy to understand and functioning GUI based program.
