462  Economy / Economics / Re: It's coming! on: August 27, 2011, 03:27:07 PM
It's not a Hurricane.Just the 5970 I ordered for bitmining.

Note:I do not accept responsibility for BTC difficulty increasing, loss of life or for other natural disasters.
463  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 200 BTC @ 12 US each. on: August 26, 2011, 04:51:40 PM
Yeah,I am interested.I actually meant your service or Mybitsafe so that any loose ends are covered.
464  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: HD5970 new in stock newegg 499$ ! on: August 26, 2011, 04:49:34 PM
I also checked for codes and got an extra 10 bucks off so shipping was also free.........looks like the order shipped within the last hour as well.

Where do you get free shipping code for newegg? Thanks.
It wasn't a free shipping code though.I just created a new account to use the "NEWCUSTOMER10" code to get $10 off my whole order.Shipping was ~$9.65 I believe therefore didn't have to pay for it.

It expires Aug 31st I believe.
465  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help trying to get 2 or more videos cards to work on: August 26, 2011, 04:13:20 AM
The actual issue is the drivers.Use driversweeper to clean and remove any Catalyst 11.7 or 11.8 drivers and install the 11.6B.The 100 % cpu bug is the issue here and believe ATI is trying to solve the issue in an upcoming driver.Perhaps the Catalyst 11.9 or 11.10
466  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: HD5970 new in stock newegg 499$ ! on: August 26, 2011, 02:34:04 AM
I don't know about you guys...

but when the price of BTC drops $2 in one day, the first thing I want to do is sink $500 on another mining card (or $4,000 on 8 of them).

...or maybe not.

*Looks at solidcoin*

The other white meat,lol.

edit:

vvvvv  Usually, what I find is that they give you the tracking number when it is halfway to the address they have on file.Their ability on charging you and getting the product out obviously seems to outpace their tracking dept. It's been like that for me over the last 4 years.
467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold bubble! GOLD BUBBLE!!! SELL SELL SELL!!! on: August 26, 2011, 02:13:19 AM
The markets seem to be consistently reacting to the debt issues and everytime that happens goal seems to always increase in value. The debt issues of the US and Europe shall be consistent for at least the next 10 years.I think it would unwise for anyone to even think of getting out of gold at least until the next 5 years or a solid plan is in place to deal with debt issues globally instead of passing it like everyone's playing hot potato.

I'd be bullish for goal in the short haul

What kind of MH/s can we expect from 850/300.  Howabout 930/300?
Well after looking at the forum it seems like over 800 Mh/s is possible at 850 but @930 it might be closer to ~840.Having said that it could be much higher with the new Phat K 2.2 and GUI miner.Nothing

Sorry, only just found out about Cashx but it doesn't look too user friendly on my part.Perhaps someone else may be willing to help.

Sent,I think you require a certain post count for message however and there are a maximum amount of PMs per hour so you have to make messaging count.

Haha... I will explain the trick. Newegg.com really has two sites with the same inventory.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814105001&Tpk=radeon%205970
http://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814105001&Tpk=radeon%205970

I bought 4 and called up a buddy who bought 4 for me.

BTW, they are now sold out. I guess a couple other people had the same idea i did.  Grin
Ah,that explains it.

I also checked for codes and got an extra 10 bucks off so shipping was also free.........looks like the order shipped within the last hour as well.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SolidCoin 1.01 Released on: August 25, 2011, 08:33:00 PM
Looks like Solidcoin has surged by 20% in less than 15 minutes, lol.
473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: buy 100 btc, price 1 btc - 12$ on: August 25, 2011, 08:26:40 PM
Don't have ICQ actually but sent you a PM.
474  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: buy 100 btc, price 1 btc - 12$ on: August 25, 2011, 07:25:20 PM
That's fine with me as well.
475  Economy / Currency exchange / Selling 200 BTC @ 12 US each. on: August 25, 2011, 06:40:14 PM

I am looking to sell 200 BTC in a phased process to build trust.I am only looking for buyers that are willing to use Moneygram or Western Union and to ensure they are covered will also be willing to use trusted escrows.
476  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: buy 100 btc, price 1 btc - 12$ on: August 25, 2011, 06:30:18 PM
Considering you're new,no one but scammers will be willing to trade with you unless it is through an escrow OR you do it via Moneygram or western union and are willing to send first.

If I were to trade it would have to be on those terms only.
477  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: HD5970 new in stock newegg 499$ ! on: August 25, 2011, 05:33:31 PM
Me thinks he exaggerates a bit.

"In stock. Limit 2 per customer."
Lol.

Newegg could cross check the information with shipping and credit card details to limit their stock hence why I only bought two.Definitely expecting this to ship out today considering how good their past performance was with my prior orders and make up the profits quicker with the surging Solidcoin, lol.
478  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: HD5970 new in stock newegg 499$ ! on: August 25, 2011, 12:22:36 PM
^Just bought 2 for that reason considering my PSU can only handle 1.Will likely sell one if the price is right.

It's obvious the card's costs can be made up very quickly as it is the king of mining. Can't wait to see what it can do with the new GUI miner update and Phatk 2.2 when I get mine.
479  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: GUI mining - updated Aug 24 with new miner versions on: August 25, 2011, 02:07:42 AM
^Sent .3 to the address as that is all I currently have, but it was worth it for the update, please confirm.
480  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin vs Solidcoin on: August 24, 2011, 04:26:31 PM
I read earlier on the forums

"Sometimes people are willing to pay gold for rocks.  So people mine rocks"
I guess some can say that.I'd say "I already have two of those, and they are quite valuable".

On the issue of solidcoin,I have to say that regardless of its downfalls it still is currently more profitable than mining Bitcoin if you got in early enough....and still somewhat is.I'll probably do it for two more days and dump it all.
