I've read that the most typical BTC holder is white male, early 30's.

Create a callback page, there are blueprints for a PHP callback file on blockchains API reference. It's pretty straight forward. Once you have created that page and added it to your server goto your "account settings" on blockchain.info and enter in the URL of your call back page.

Any ideas? I still can't find anything about bitcoin being listed on BATS, except the CNN price ticker. If it were to happen that would be huge and would blow the winkies ETF out of the water with 10%+ of the daily equities trading in the US.

I can edit it. I just canīt build it.
Hack n' paster, huh? You'll likely have a very hard time editing and customizing unless the developer comments out every line explaining what they're doing and how to edit it. I want to use coinpayments, or blockchain.
If you're going to be creating addresses with blockchain.info's wallet management API be aware that it maxes out at 1,000 addresses. I looked at the website, and I don't 100% understand what that site is about. Looks kinda scammy. Good luck!

For those not willing to DL 3 text files, mysql exports... 1 is a count of total users or addresses? 4.5 million mysql> select count(*) from platform.Money_Bitcoin_Permanent_Address; +----------+ | count(*) | +----------+ | 4512211 | +----------+ 1 row in set (7.46 sec)
mysql> select * from platform.Money_Bitcoin_Permanent_Address; ERROR 2013 (HY000): Lost connection to MySQL server during query Other is a 25MB CSV of the users table, listing user ID, censored email addresses and their BTC balance. The last is the 308 table names stored on the DB.

Certainly there is, and being more secure it's also much, much more simple. Just let the Bitcoin-QT client create private keys for you. You have to do zero work, and you are using state-of-the-art. peer reviewed cryptography, based on the reliable RNG.
I think there's a certain novelty type of satisfaction from being able to create your key with a pair of dice or other physical randomness. Bitcoin is so intangible there's something cool about being able to make a part of it your own. Then you get to converting your random string to a public address and the EDSCA curve part and it's all back to the digital world

That's crazy to think about. In just 10 years or so the block reward will only be 3 BTC.

I see this as a calm before the "storm" that I guess march (and maybe april) is gonna be. It's gonna be fun seeing what happens. Edit: and the price is creeping upwards! Hooray!

USMS testing the latest batch of SR coins for auction?

do you guys think a rise to above $500 is possibble this year?
I absolutely believe it's possible, even much higher. HOWEVER I would not bet on it. Almost anything is possible with price of BTC. All you need is demand and new money for the price to rise. With coinbase's new exchange and the expected launch of Gemini, regulated exchanges could attract new money from deeper pockets of those who may have been skeptical about the existing exchanges.

PSA: Don't use that script. Even really basic security steps not taken. Address input form inserted straight into database using deprecated mysql_query without escaping <form method="post" action="faucet.php"> <label for="email">Bitcoin address:</label> <input type="text" name="address" id="address" size="32" maxlength="128"> </tr></td> $run = mysql_query("INSERT INTO ".MYSQLBTCTABLE."(id, address, ip, date, time) VALUES('','" . $_POST['address'] . "','" . $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] . "', '".date("Y-m-d")."', '".date("H")."')"); if ($run !== true) {

Don't we have enough faucets covered with ads? Seriously though, Wordpress is notoriously vulnerable against attacks. Do NOT try to run something with value like a wallet through Wordpress or you're going to have a bad time.

It isn't wrong, that's the whole point.
Everyone should have a choice if that want to own, use, or invest in a new technology that could either be ground-breaking or just another idea that's brilliant in theory.
Whether it's the next Zune or Ipod, whether it's the next Atari Jaguar or the Sony Playstation, whether it's the next Myspace or Facebook, the masses will ultimately decide if it's worthwhile.
I have the Zune HD
