Ooo, nice job Sherlock!

I second your question. "Where did you get these coins bro?"

Hmm he had 20 stolen coins and knew nothing about BTC... my guess is they weren't a gift but he likely paid for them at a huge discount through a dark web site??

1764  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: how to create user bitcoin wallet management feature on: January 28, 2015, 05:39:42 AM

Thank you, that is pretty much what I was looking for when I start the thread. I am still trying to think how to use that api to sign by private key without storing private key on the app server.

You don't have to store the private key on your server if you use blockchain's API. Of course you'll need to provide your blockchain wallet ID and password, but you can just store a limited amount on blockchain and keep your "real" bitcoin balance in cold storage. Then just transfer from cold storage to your hot wallet on blockchain API when needed.

Yea that's pretty darn bullish for mainstream media news article

"The arrival of institutional investors in digital currencies is a big bang event. If you have doubted the viability of digital currencies, today may be a good day to re-evaluate this emerging asset class."

Great thread! Sell sell sell.... sell into my buy orders Smiley
1770  Economy / Speculation / Re: <<< Bitcoin price tomorrow >>> on: January 26, 2015, 09:43:15 PM
If enough new money starts coming in from this media blast about "the first bitcoin exchange" then we we could possibly see a new ATH in February. That's the optimistic part of me.

If I have BTC why do I care if "they" have my fiat?
1772  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How hard is it to learn code to write website functionality? on: January 26, 2015, 06:00:18 PM
And what do you suggest for a total coding illitterate like me to get started?
What do you think it's better for someone who wants to have a first understanding of how coding works?

For the total illitterate newb, I suggest you check out my Building Bitcoin Websites tutorials.  I go step by step and explain each thing I do. I'm not a master coder by any means but I created these since none existed.  When I started with bitcion websites I wished there was some instruction but I couldn't find any so I created these.

I can't log in from here since I can't bring my phone with me. What's the interface like?  If it's truly an exchange, can you also deal in dogecoin if you choose, or is it just bitcoin only?

The UI looks nice IMO. At the end of my video you can see the interface. It's a gun metal gray, has buy/sell on the left margin. The center is the order book. The right margin has a line chart. I only saw BTC/USD as an option, I did not notice any other currency pairs.

UPgrade your CamStudio to Snagit !!  Same company and WAY better program.

-B-

Thanks for the info, I'll try Snagit. I'm not super pleased w/ CamStudio, freezes a lot... CamStudio was the only free one I could find that didn't try to install malware during install.

You can watch what happened here.  The rocket did a little twirly thing and a button popped up to go to the moon. You click and go to the new exchange. The market reacted poorly and fell. Glance at the exchange UI.

the small print on that add says available from the 2/2/2015.. one week from todays lunar announcement.. interesting.. Smiley

It also says no purchase necessary subject to official rules.  Also randomly accepting implies that for random orders this "form of payment" will be accepted and others it will not.  It's going to be something stupid like "1 smile" is your payment.
1777  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 26, 2015, 01:36:16 PM
Too soon for moon and rocket photos from a TA perspective. We're still at that long term downtrend resistance line. We've barely broken it, if we can hold this price for a while or even keep rising then it should be clear the bear season is over.

Wow can't believe someone posted Leftover Crack. I haven't heard them in 15 years. Had their vinyl, I remember "Rock the 40oz" was an awesome song.

Closed my position at 292

Yup looks like others are doing the same. Price is stagnating while longs take their profit. All we've been seeing is current traders trading and taking leverage, the real pump will be when the new money starts coming in which should happen after this coinbase announcement goes mainstream. This week should be very interesting Smiley
