Looks like some people feeling bullish again. Longs are on their way back up and some huge demand for USD swaps.

1522  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 25, 2015, 12:59:08 AM
is it possible to open a long and a short at the same time on bitfinex?
my understanding is that if you are into schlongs, you need multiple accts.
Haha, shorts + longs together = schlongs!
1523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 24, 2015, 09:44:31 PM
Don't you guys feel that all of this is just going downhill and that any kind of rebound will not come around any time soon?

I'm actually feeling very bullish for bitcoin. Short term, it's still great to trade whether trend is headed down or up. But all the big players entering the game lately is very encouraging for the long run IMO. Lot's of people see real promise and we're just building a foundation in 2014 and now. Companies are setting up their positions in the market. Remember in just 5-6 years the block reward will only be around 6 BTC. If the BIT is still around, I assure you it still wont be on the pink sheets. Buying and HODLing isn't meant to be fun or glamorous.
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Secure hot wallet? on: March 24, 2015, 08:04:45 PM
Yea for a secure hot wallet I believe using a 3rd party with 2 factor auth is your best bet. That way even if your CPU gets infected it should hopefully get stuck when it is asked for the 2FA code.
1525  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to efficiently parse the blockchain for ANY random address or txid? on: March 24, 2015, 06:59:08 PM
A lot of these services need to use a block parser/broswer like ABE. Have you looked into bitcoin abe? https://github.com/bitcoin-abe/bitcoin-abe

Any guess when the long stop losses start to kick in?

I say below 220.

Longs still at 24 million, doesn't look like too many have closed their position from this $30 fall.
1527  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 24, 2015, 04:44:18 PM
I can't take anything from infowars seriously, sorry!

LOL I can't take fox news seriously either!
Alex Jones hypes up every story he finds and tries to sell you his water filters. I used to watch his stuff years back but this guy is just looney.

1529  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holy crap! Yesterday JPMChase registered BitcoinChase.com!! on: March 24, 2015, 04:08:34 PM

The first link posted is actually negative or Anti-Bitcoin and by some garbage bootleg fake news website.

Interesting, didn't realize that... Now that I look at it again, I agree looks like BS.
1530  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holy crap! Yesterday JPMChase registered BitcoinChase.com!! on: March 24, 2015, 02:42:22 PM
I'm surprised that most of your responses are "meh". I thought this was pretty big... Maybe the source is not credible? And based on the names they registered (if it's true) it doesn't look like they are making an alt coin. If they were trying to make a bitcoin killer they wouldn't register a name with the word "bitcoin" in it. Oh well, we'll see what happens I guess.
1531  Economy / Speculation / Holy crap! Yesterday JPMChase registered BitcoinChase.com!! on: March 24, 2015, 12:35:17 PM

On March 23, 2015 JP Morgan Chase registered the domains JPMCoin.com, JPMorganCoin.com and BitcoinChase.com.

Ummm if this doesn't make you bullish what will?

Payment received and successfully withdrawn to my personal addy. Great campaign!  Cool
1533  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 23, 2015, 10:06:45 PM
Up to 24.5 million. Last hour sentiment 93.9% went long...

1534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 23, 2015, 09:38:50 PM
Weak pump, those insiders waiting to sell high on these news will be disappointed. Unloading soon  Undecided

Weak indeed, only $6 rise, and volume is atrocious.
1535  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 23, 2015, 09:27:15 PM
Are those real buys, or more leveraged longs? This is getting interesting!

Looks like the real deal to me. The news is significant enough and could lift the price easily. Anyone has an ETA on Fidelity's launch? Adam? Roll Eyes How Soon is "soon"? Wink

Wait, what news?  What did I miss?

This was posted a few pages back...

It's listed on the Pink Sheets?  Poor BIT! Looks like they changed the layout a little from last time it was posted so they're getting ready but still not active Sad

1538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nasdaq to Provide Trading Technology for Bitcoin Marketplace on: March 23, 2015, 08:52:05 PM
Nasdaq will also provide marketing support.

Interesting, they are going to market the exchange or bitcoin? Or both?
1539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 23, 2015, 07:36:12 PM
the next crash will be spectacular.

Cool! I wouldn't mind picking up some more cheap coins!
1540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 23, 2015, 03:36:30 AM
I still wonder why almost all of the recent price increases are based on small time frame large 2-3 thousand volume candles. And I still wonder if some sort of institutional investor is buying the coins, waiting for the next dip and rebuying in order to cause less of a price hike. If you look at the finiex 15 minute candles you will see two large 3k volume boosts in price followed by a decline back to the baseline ~300 volume. Looks like a single person buying to me.

I think some people are in the know and there will be news next week.
