2921  Economy / Speculation / Did any of you buy thanks to Mike Hearn's discount yet? on: January 21, 2016, 03:33:29 PM
Mike sold his coins then crashed the price, of course anyone intelligent just holds through the bullshit, but did any of you buy some of the coins at around 3XX range? I would say we are still at discount price since we are only going up after the Mike Hearn and Classic FUD is gone and Core devs can keep focusing on improving Bitcoin.
2922  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: January 21, 2016, 03:21:59 PM
Good Question need a simple answer :
Banks control your money . with bit-coin wallet you are in a control of your money
Choose .

This is true, but a lot of people is too lazy to deal with their own business, believe it or not, they feel more safe trusting a third party that themselves, thats why even if it it's sounds a bit ridiculous now, in the future Bitcoin banks may become a widely and successful business to run.
2923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hard Fork is not happening... on: January 21, 2016, 03:18:20 PM
I don't understand what all this means?
No halving?

No, the halving doesn't have anything to do with this. Halving will be happening around june. This just means the Classic thing failed to fail consensus, apparently people started using their brain and understood how forcing a hard fork to get some increment in block size that can be achieved without hard forking thanks to seg wit is just a stupid idea, as stupid as firing the people that has been behind Bitcoin for 7+ years (core devs).

So thank good we are sticking with Core. Price should keep going up now that people is catching up with the situation and FUD is fading away.
2924  Economy / Services / Re: [ON HOLD] ۩ FastDice Signature Campaign ۩ ✦Earn up to 0.06 Weekly✦ [ON HOLD] on: January 11, 2016, 02:45:47 AM
Thanks for the nice work. It will be hard to find a substitute for this high quality campaign. See you next time.
2925  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Has anyone withdrawn Bitcoin from Cryptsy for the past 48 hours? on: January 09, 2016, 03:58:28 PM
I just read that cryptsy hq has been abandoned like a week ago - big pappa vern is probably in China right now using everyone's money to make his next scamchange Sad

Edit: found the link

http://bitcoinist.net/cryptsy-has-moved-out-of-their-building-unannounced-nowhere-to-be-found/

Yeah I just saw this, I just want to be sure that if i click "withdraw" im not going to be with my bitcoins stuck forever. It's a small amount, it's not even 30 dollars I think in total. But it still pisses me off to lose money to exchanges, so I want to be sure..

Go for it...at least we hear will think you are a 'hero' ...me I never did anything with cryptsy...but damn it is not looking too good

from friends on bitcointalk and skype WHO WAITED TOO LONG I'd say get it out now......it either will WORK or NOT ....by waiting you just give them

more time imho NOT to give you coin..if they really are in the process of wrapping the scam exchange up

LIKELY imho you will get your 30 bucks out...I heard a 'rumor' can't find the link that cryptsy has a 22 buck limit...so grab 22 bucks now and get the other 8 a day later

I't an't much but at least ego wise it will count as a win Smiley

Well it's not like I have many alternatives right.. its either I take the risk and maybe I can manage to get my funds out, or I just sit and wait for what? because it doesn't seem it's going to get any better.

I will try to get 20 dollars later for a test, then 10 a couple laters and we'll see how it goes.

Please let me know if I can move my coins outside of that exchange before shit hits the fan which it looks like it's imminent (I hope im wrong and wish them nothing but the best but honestly this is starting to look pretty dodgy at this point).

Please let me know if my coins will safely arrive on my local wallet if I withdraw now. Im going to sell my alts and convert everything to BTC and move all outside of the exchange, but I need to know first. It's a small amount, but for me it's important. Let me know.
2928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: January 09, 2016, 03:18:49 PM
As long as no one comes with a better idea than holding, im going to keep holding and while I hold im going to keep stacking even more BTC, as much as I can, I will eat only cheap ramen and live under a bridge if that means I can buy even more BTC monthly. In 10 years it will be worth the extra effort.
2929  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your investment portfolio ? on: January 09, 2016, 02:38:06 PM
Well, I would tell you not to do it if you were a family man with a lot of responsibilities, but since you are only 20 and have no expenses you can afford doing some crazy stuff. If I was you I would totally go 100% on Bitcoin because I like the asset and it's the most exciting thing for the future. Of course, your money your choice.
2930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOINS Miracle! Any One Had Such Experience? on: January 09, 2016, 02:36:13 PM
I think what you are calling a miracle is just someone screwing up in the middle of a transaction as they mistakenly sent money to you when they meant to sent money to someone else. Somehow you were lucky enough to be the owner of the private key, that's all in my opinion.
2931  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn bitcoin for underage on: January 09, 2016, 02:33:53 PM
I am a 15 years old boy living in South East Asia region. I am new in bitcoin and is trying to understand it.
I am currently earning some satoshis from faucet. I would like to ask how to earn bitcoin other than faucet and gambling?
I do not need it fast but a stable income. Thanks

Hi and welcome. I suggest you don't ask for donations, as it is not permitted here. Asking how to make Bitcoin is like asking how to make fiat, you have to work for it, or exchange your fiat for BTC, which means you had to work for that fiat to begin with. Of course since you are underage, you can't legally work, but BTC doesn't care about age, so you can still get some. If you have any skills you could sell the skills online for Bitcoin.

In this forum, companies pay you for posting and promoting their business in your signature. For this you need a higher ranking in your account (to get any sort of relevant amount of money) and you also need to be able to speak basic english and some basic understanding of Bitcoin to get on the best campaigns. Other than that, I don't know any other way to get BTC that isn't basically exchanging it for fiat or for a skill. Good luck.
2932  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: January 08, 2016, 02:03:12 AM
I would say 2016 is the year where we go back where Bitcoin belongs: 4 figures. We will have a correction after the halving, which will be a pretty hard one. Weak hands will be shaken along the way. After this correction ensues, you can kiss goodbye to ever buying 3 figures for a Bitcoin ever again, so do the math and you'll see 1 BTC for the current price is a steal.
2933  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has bitcoin had success in China? on: January 08, 2016, 01:53:21 AM
Bitcoins aren't necessarily more successful in China compared to the US, UK, Germany or Russia. One reason, as many other users mentioned, is the ability to move funds out of China anonymously

Well, I hope that those guys are aware of the fact that if you reveal your identiy when you are getting your Bitcoins (through an exchange of sorts) you are not going to be as anonymous as you would want to be when you are trying to get your wealth out of the government's hands. I wouldn't like to see innocent people that just want ot get their money out of there getting in problems because they fail to take the required steps to make Bitcoin as anonymous as it should be by default (lets hope in the future this changes).
2934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: from 10 EUR to 1280 EUR on 7 bets on: January 08, 2016, 01:23:36 AM
Those are some solid gains OP, dont test your look anymore, I would just wrap it out for an entire month if I managed to get that amount of money out of such a small bet. I usually always screw up when I get too exciting and keep testing my look to ridiculous levels, it's best to stop when you still can leave victorious, then try again next month.
2935  Economy / Gambling / Re: Battlecoin.org - Multiplayer bomberman clone on: January 08, 2016, 12:55:09 AM
Could bigger matches happen? Like with more people. Imagine an huge map with 16 players playing last man standing, it would be pretty fun and the winner would win a lot more money than when you have 4 people involved, with less risk as you would still not need to bet more, but win more as you take 15 people's BTC's.
2936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Analysis and list of top big blocks shills (XT #REKT ignorers) on: January 08, 2016, 12:51:32 AM
Long due, thanks. Add Litecoinguy to the list, not essentially a big block shill but a shill of forum.bitcoin.com who hugely promotes XT

sure, iam a big block shill!

You know big blocks are a failure when not even paying hot girls do the trick Grin

Honestly at this point I don't know who is still going for XT (and now the new trend the Unlimited thing). I think they just don't get the reality of the situation here and the potential centralization what they would ensue.
2937  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Stock Markets AROUND THE WORLD are crashing .... What will BTC do? on: January 08, 2016, 12:44:18 AM
Goddamn it!!!  Every time the markets crash I'm stuck without cash to buy any stocks with.  I think I'm going to start putting some aside and stop buying bitcoin for a while, because I suspect the stock market is going to drop a lot more before we see the end of this.  It was down again today, and if this keeps going we're going to have a bleak 2016--but stocks will be cheaper!

Don't know about bitcoin, though.  Has anyone actually done any econometrics with it, e.g., figured out how it moves with relation to the stock market or bond market or any others?  I'd be very curious.

Why would you buy stocks when they are crashing? Way to catch a falling knife to be honest. It's just best to stay all in on Bitcoin, what tells you that when you buy those stocks which looks like a good buy, they will not continue falling?
2938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a way to avoid corruption on: January 08, 2016, 12:40:16 AM
The biggest problem is convincing those people to submit their accounts into the blockchain, how are you going to do it unless there is a law that forces them to run all of their money movements transparently throught the blockchain? They will not do it out of good will.
2939  Economy / Gambling / Re: Battlecoin.org - Multiplayer bomberman clone on: January 04, 2016, 05:04:44 PM
Looks nice. Smiley but it for only small bets. there is no big bets. not big... normal bets. like 0.005 - 0.01.

so. thisis for "funny spending time"  Grin

You can't expect the big bets to come until the lag is fixed, but holorga said that it will be fixed soon. I can't wait until some crazy whales start doing ridiculous bets. It happens already in dice sites where some guy out of nowhere bets 100 BTC at <49.5 dice games or something, so im sure we will start seeing this kind of stuff in this game too in the future.
2940  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has bitcoin had success in China? on: January 04, 2016, 05:00:56 PM
I think China has only mining success. That is due to the advanced ASIC design technology and cheap electricity.

no, no they have only trading success, and they are the one that are driving the price and manipulating everything

so it's 100% a success there from every point of view

It's impossible to know to what extent china is really manipulating the price, but you can guess by the amount of volume moved in Huobi that it's insanely high, these guys must be getting sponsored by someone to move that kind of BTC up and down the book orders.
