2961  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you play in demo mode just to get rid of the urge to play? on: January 02, 2016, 02:20:46 AM
Sometimes I just really want to gamble because I miss the excitement, but I know should not do it, so I just play some games in demo mode with fake credits. After im done, I don't feel like risking real money anymore. This is a good technique to stop gambling in a stupid compulsory way.

I feel that urge to sometimes.
But when i try just playing demo coins or fake credits.
It doesnt feel good. or it isnt just right for me.
I just feel like its im just gambling in the air.
The excitement and the feeling is really not the same when betting real time.

I know, it's just not the same, it's like having sex with 10 condoms on or something, it's better than nothing but it's lacking something. I guess the people are really addicted to gambling will not have enough with some demo fun.
2962  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you play in demo mode just to get rid of the urge to play? on: January 02, 2016, 01:42:36 AM
demos can be a reason to get hoocked in gambling if you win in demo mode you will directly go to start gambling so demo is a way to lure people into gambling

Exactly, new people may not interested to start the gambling because they might have read many places gambling is not good and it will ruin the life. But when there is a demo mode available than those people thinks that they are not really gambling so they will play but after some time if not all but many people will become a real gamblers.

Actualy this is somewhat how I started... I won 1 BTC in the bitcoin video casino slots, I thought "damn, this is not that hard, I got 1 BTC the first time!" but then of course, with real money I was out of money in the first 5 spins, amazing! I was mad and thought it was rigged.
2963  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your favorit Bitcoin gambling site and why? on: January 02, 2016, 01:41:28 AM
It has to be PD because the support has improved a lot.
I miss the PD sig campaign. Right now im very happy with fastdice, the guy is great and doesn't "accidentally" forget to post X posts which some scammers do, but PD rates where amazingly high, Stunna gave so much BTC to people that needed it, that's why I always respect PD.
2964  Economy / Economics / Re: How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire in 5 years? on: January 02, 2016, 01:39:14 AM
10-25. There will only be 21 BTC. Owning BTC puts you in the 1 million elite. 5 billion marketcap at 450 dollars a unit = INSANE growth ahead. 4 figures is nothing. You people are insane to not understand what we are talking about in here. Long term holders = millionaires in the making.
2965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should start pricing Bitcoins in Satoshis to realize how cheap it is! on: January 02, 2016, 01:32:24 AM
Yup, look how cheap one satoshi is: $0.0000043

Even the exchanges should price it this way, you would see 1 satoshi going up to $1 in a minute.

That would put 1 BTC = $100,000,000 Smiley

Happy New Year everybody!
I have to ask if you were smoking something when you thought of this?  There is no reason to do this.  If we wanted it smaller, then why would it not be matched even with the UDS or YEN or something like that?  Why try to fix something that is not broken.  Having something like this is much better than having a even to even match to other currency.  Just my opinion.

Bitcoin is insanely undervalued per unit if you compare the value of a stock in Apple with the total amount of stocks and the current marketcap for example. Bitcoin could go 6 figures in the next 5 years, that's a more natural price than the current one actually. Not sure about 9 figures tho.
2966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we just stop with the block size panic crap? on: January 02, 2016, 01:30:41 AM
After reading so many things on the blocksize debate I'm not even sure if there is an answer to it.  Can't please everyone whatever 's done.

This is the point to be honest, no matter what they do, there will always be a part of people that's not happy with it, that's human, so I say keep nodes decentralized as first priority and keep working in the good direction for this to happen.
2967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin Will Not Survive", says Jamie Dimon on: January 02, 2016, 01:29:01 AM
Jamie Dimon is a demon, so is Blythe Masters and all those banksters. We must guarantee that Bitcoin stays decentralized and uncompromisable to stay safe from their hands in the future when they attack it.
2968  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your favorit Bitcoin gambling site and why? on: December 30, 2015, 12:41:50 AM
Right now im still addicted to this little Battlecoin game and also to the video slot in the bitcoin video casino, I may start trying out fastdice more often since I like the layout and haven't tested my luck much on there.
2969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mentioned in famous youtuber video!!! on: December 30, 2015, 12:14:23 AM
Do you really think a video makes a difference? I'm all about promoting btc, but just because its mentioned, doesnt mean it will have affect.

Will the video make a huge difference? Probably not. Will bitcoin jump to over $500 because some popular youtuber mentioned bitcoin in a video? I doubt it. Will some people be introduced to bitcoin from the video? Sure. I'd say a small percent of the people who watch the video might google what a bitcoin is. A smaller percent may even try and get a bitcoin wallet and a fraction of a percent might even earn some bitcoin on faucets or purchase some bitcoin. I think the biggest thing here is that this video might reach some people in his audience that might not have been told about bitcoin before. I don't think a massive advertising campaign would convert people to start using bitcoin overnight. I think it will be small amounts of people converted slowly by different people presenting in different ways.
Well it always help to slowly get people going and get them introduced to Bitcoin thought mainstream popular people is one of the best was to do it, because if someone they like uses it they will use it too and get involved.
2970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How could I explain easily to someone that know nothing about Bitcoin what it is ? on: December 29, 2015, 11:46:04 PM
What's wrong with saying its like Paypal? You could start with "it is a payment system with its own currency".

Yep, the problem is that whenever you point to such analogy "it's like paypal but with it's own currency" they will ask "why do I need another currency? I have the dollar (or the Euro or whatever you've got in your country). Unless you live in a country with a really screwed up national currency, chances are they aren't bright enough to see the point.
2971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question about the bitcoins that the usa government sold... on: December 29, 2015, 11:25:30 PM
customers on mtgox lost millions, so the usa government confiscated them and sold them, is that money going to the victims or does the government keep it all?

I have a feeling the government keeps it all and if thats true, that is really really fucked up, its basically a scammer(mtgox) stealing from a scammer(usa government not giving to the victims and keeping for themselves) isn't it?
As far as I know, the goverment puts auctions and just make a bid and whoever wants to buy them buy them (obviousy I guess you need to meet certain criteria like, being a US citizen and not being a criminal etc). They are probably too stupid to realize its value and sell all of it for dollar and don't keep any for long term.
2972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: December 29, 2015, 11:14:56 PM
I think the future has to do a lot with automation. I can expect automated machines being paid in Bitcoin and delivered good and services all automatically, like drones that receive a Bitcoin payment ant travel to someone's house with your dinner or something.
2973  Economy / Collectibles / Re: What's the current price for the 1000 BTC Casacius coin? on: December 28, 2015, 11:05:17 PM
Wow that dude's collection is absolutely insane. He has been around at least since 2011 judging by his registration date. I wonder at what price did he buy all those coins back then.
2974  Economy / Gambling / Re: which Dice site you recommend for gambling? on: December 28, 2015, 10:59:00 PM
Fastdice is great and not because i have it on my sig, I really mean it, plus the guy that runs the signature is really cool and always counts posts correctly and pays on time, which shows good ethics, same goes for Stunna when he was running a sig campaign, this shows in his robust Primedice site.
2975  Economy / Gambling / Re: You ask how to win - did you know how to push your luck ? on: December 28, 2015, 10:55:06 PM
i have never known how much to play in order to finish gambling in huge profit, the last time i played with my bitcoins was very unlucky i lost a big amount of bitcoins in just a few bets because of that i try to avoid gambling at all costs though i sometimes still play in the latest created casinos

You should know on thing that, in gambling it is quite impossible to win a big profits in any games but only very lucky people one in a life time they may win but for that you shouldn't waste you hard earn money to chase down you luck. So what your trying to do like avoiding gambling or gambling once in awhile should be fine.

Yes many gamblers are wasting their hard earned money and more precious time to find out their luck with gambling. The fact is luck is similar to God and never could be found.
Instead of pushing your luck, you must hard work on your strategies. Your hard work may find the God, yes luck.

But what strategies can be done in gambling? it all comes down to pressing "spin" and hoping for the best, I don't think you can develop sound plans based on the simplicity of the principle of randomness (which at the same time is very complicated but ultimately for a casino user is just pressing a button and that's all).
2976  Economy / Economics / Re: #panicselling is so 1995 on: December 28, 2015, 10:52:41 PM
I don't understand the analogy to be honest. Bitcoin was created to be an alternative way to either store value, or use it as a currency daily.. it has all the uses you want to give it to it, nothing its written in stone.
2977  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oops Price is 425$ Now... on: December 28, 2015, 10:43:20 PM
If and when we pass the 400 mark it's time to sell. I expect something to happen in the next few days.
The same as how it happened on christmas day.
Just people selling out, all of a sudden.
Yeah you can sell so it starts going up again and you are left with fiat in your hand looking like a moron.. no thanks.
There's no way to know what will happen if it goes to 400, it may go to 390 and start going up. It's a mistake to be left behind with fiat in your hand, but not to lose money in ups and downs temporarily as you hold in BTC.
2978  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2015, 10:39:34 PM
Most people will lose on the gains because they don't have the patience to wait. I think a lot of people is either going to sell before the halving or after, around that time an huge pump will happen, only to discover a year later they lost money if they just held.
2979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has the NSA already broken bitcoin? on: December 28, 2015, 10:37:04 PM
If the NSA can crack Bitcoin, it would be in their best interests to have the public believe that they cannot do such things... Anyway personally I think they didn't broke bitcoin yet...

It's impossible to break BItcoin, it's quantum secure and everyone will be safe once BIP47 is deployed, trying to crack it its useless and a waste of resources, they are losing the antiencryption war
2980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware: targeted phishing on: December 27, 2015, 12:43:17 AM
Wow, these guys are getting really good. Normally I can spot a phising site really fast but this looks pretty real. Of course I always look at the url before clicking so I would still notice that the url is some shady stuff and wouldn't click.
