Hello everyone... Before joining this forum I was a gold trader ... Gradually I came to know that trading can be done with bitcoin as well... For gold trade I use Forex Meta trader... Now wonder about BTC ... what thing I required to start a bitcoin trading.... how much I have to invest here??? And how the trends move in BTC ... Do I need some broker to start trading??? I have seen allots of sight regarding this...but I’m not sure they are real not fake... One this which seem to be original is https://simplefx.com/dashboard/?utm_source=BCC&utm_medium=CURL&utm_campaign=BBCMKKindly give your suggestion about this ... if you are a BTC trader give some tips to start up and how to maintain my balance… post here or PM me... Thanks As always, invest only and only what you can afford to lose. To trade, if you want to day trade simply get on an exchange with very high volume such as bitifinex. Im guessing you want to trade against USD and EUR. If you want to trade against other cryptos, Poloniex has a lot of options, but stay with high volume coins only, such as Monero and Maidsafe. It's very hard to do this well tho. I personally hold long term and buy a bit of BTC monthly with my wage.

What does BIP101 mean? Does it mean that some want an official core update with bigger blocks and you should support BIP101 for that? then what is the difference between BIP101 Core and XT?

account was hacked and mail was without his PNG key.
Hoax.
I wonder what are the chances that his PNG key got hacked as well somehow, and stolen. IT would be terrible. Imagine if someone was in control of the key (btw isn't it PGP and not PNG?)

It's not so much a storage problem.
It's the matter of downloading it.
Some of us are not so blessed with fast internet speeds.
Internet speeds will follow the same path as disks and pretty much everything in technology... If you look at the statistics, that doesn't seem to be the case. I can confirm that in my area the network speed and bandwidth has been lagging behind disk space for a couple of years, only now its getting better.

I think both parties are making sense. The fact they want to keep BTC as intended by satoshi is a valid one. AND the fact the gmaxwell crew of 1mbers is questioning if it's scalable without a sort of a off the chain solution is also making sense. Common ground my friends.

Bitcoin can be anything yo want. Do you want a currency? it is a currency, you can exchange it for good and services. An asset? you can treat it as a stock. A savings fund? you can hold big term like gold. Etc..

Hello, I'm going to purchase BTC in person for the first time using Localbitcoins. anything to be worried about? should I check for confirmations on the transaction?
Thanks in advance.
Meet with a person that has a good past history of doing success trades. Meet in a crowded place with cameras everywhere just in case. It should be safe.

Guys, the rates are updated based on the current signature campaign market condition. Hope that you can understand. Thanks.
I predict a lot of people leaving, specially when you have to pay a fee to withdraw from your exchange. The old rate was good, considering the price of BTC is lower now. Just because the other campaigns are paying next to peanuts you shouldn't follow with that practice. Good luck tho.

Sooner or later only a few people will be able to run nodes. And even if running nodes was easy, most people would be too lazy and resort to SPV or web based wallets. So the moral of the story is: No matter what they do, the % of people running nodes is always going to be a minority of enthusiasts.

Here's how I would proceed: 1) Send the equivalent of 50K in BTC from china to france, small fee and quick transaction done thanks to BTC. 2) Now go on france physically and find in localbitcoins some guy that wants to meet IRL. Sell around. Maybe it will take you like 1 year to cash out but this way you could avoid taxes if you want to (not recommended tho, always pay your taxes). 3) A quicker way is get your BTC taxed and then process to cash out on a bank or something.

Kwuckduck is still full of anger, lost so much money by selling at $10 hahahaha. You're a .... Damn, did he really sell at 10$? How much did he sold? Not surprised about his whole narrative then. All the FUDsters tend to be butthurt about selling too quick or buying at the top.

World peace will never arrive as long as one can make profit out of it. So as long as a monetary system exists, be it fiat, gold or Bitcoin, wars will exist. World peace is impossible unless the society is advanced enough to not need any monetary system to begin with.

All banks have evil intentions so Im not happy about this. Im sure they have a hidden agenda and they will in a way take advantage out of supporting Bitcoin.

Confirmation time.
It takes couple of hours for me.
No one cares about confirmation times. Do you care that a credit card takes up to 180 days to confirm? no then do not complain about Bitcoin ..

I ran Bitcoin Core for >3 years, and I turned it off today
I am now running Bitcoin**Censored** As a Legendary member you are here since the beginning. Why did you turn it off? Did you lose faith in Bitcoin? Im guessing he is now a supporter of XT? Either this or he got tired of running a node and is using a SPV type of wallet.

21.000.000 bitcoins ever to be mined currently around 14.500.000 bitcoins blockreward halving next year
If you do not have 1 bitcoin stored away in a cold wallet, I have no idea what you have been doing al those years lol
And yes!
I have at least 1 bitcoin.
Unfortunately a lot of people here arrived a bit late and you are forgetting that for a lot of people here, even at current price it's difficult to save 300 dollars that you can afford to lose. The newbies will take at least 9 months to achieve Sr Member and more time to reach 1 BTC off sig campaigns if you suggest that.

The biggest downside is basically the fact that the blocksize will be bigger, therefore limiting the amount of people that can access to it, or they could still access to it but it will be slower to download it.

This is really clever but unfortunately we can't know what the container of a hash has so we don't know what did you said. What was the word that generated this hash?
