1961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 Bitcoin converted into BCH on: May 27, 2018, 06:10:18 AM
what is the point of starting this topic?
there are thousands of altcoins out there and if you invest 1BTC in each and everyone of them you have a chance of making profit since all of them have a chance of getting pumped. if we start making topics for each shitcoin we invest and gets pumped then this forum will be filled with millions of topics every hour!
1962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox account transferred 6000 bitcoins today on: May 27, 2018, 05:37:37 AM
Well crypto currency is not only depend on bitcoin there's some more coin like ETH, Bitcoin Cash, Monero, and some other alt. If its gradually fall down i will either sell my all bitcoins or exchange with alt. For me ETH is the second best investment after bitcoin so doesn't matter if the bitcoin fall down or completely finish, i will never leave crypto currency.

what are you on about Cheesy
when bitcoin falls altcoins fall harder down. if you look at the bags you are holding you can see how much money you have been losing on these altcoins. for example your Ethereum bags have lost nearly 80% of their values and it is not even stopping there. it is continuing down and is headed to $100
1963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i want to buy a coin, which is nice btg or bcd on: May 26, 2018, 06:47:46 AM
neither of these two coins are good for investment. both of them are pointless forks of bitcoin and both of them are pump and dump coins. the only thing that may happen to these two is the miners who are using their GPU rigs to mine them and make some money and the pumpers that may pump them at some point.

additionally BTG had a 51% attack recently which means it doesn't look so good for investment at the moment because of the panic sells.
1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin prices go down, why altcoins prices also go down? on: May 26, 2018, 06:40:40 AM
sometimes you shouldn't really look for reasons in the altcoin market because there are none. although there are some theories around and i have one of my own. the important thing to know is that when bitcoin goes down, altcoins go down with it and most of the times  they get dumped harder.

my theory is that when bitcoin drops, every trader moves back to bitcoin and leaves altcoin market behind. this means they either dump their altcoins to have bitcoin/fiat ready or at the very least they cancel their open buy orders on altcoin markets which means altcoins lose a lot of buy support and with the dump that is happening they crash harder.
1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What token or coin do you think will take place of bitcoin and ethereum? on: May 26, 2018, 06:20:51 AM
if you want to make profit there are hundreds of shitcoins that are getting pumped and most of them already have a huge potential of huge pumps such as 100x because their prices are extremely low and there are good pumping teams behind them. i will never name any of them here though...

if you are looking for a coin that can replace bitcoin then you have to continue dreaming.
if you are looking for a coin that can replace ethereum then you have to wait a long time because the centralized foundation behind it has millions of dollars to throw at it and crush any competition so that they can keep their shitcoin on top and pump it more. but eventually it will be replaced by another better platform.
1966  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin paper wallet on: May 26, 2018, 06:14:20 AM
Download the whole website. Go OFFLINE and create your wallet on a fresh install of Linux.

it is best to use a Live Linux instead of installing one when you want to create a paper wallet so that you just run that Linux from a DVD or something like that LIVE and then shut it down while making sure nothing stays (no persistence data).
1967  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is in negative but take it as Positive on: May 26, 2018, 06:05:19 AM
We are witnessing a dip again and its the time when most of us sell to avoid further loss.

selling should only occur when you see the dip start. not after you saw the dip finished or near the finish line. for instance when price has fallen more than 10% already that means that you have already missed your chance to sell. and although it is still possible to drop more but you have no way of knowing that for sure so selling at that point would be a lot riskier.
1968  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is quantum computing threat to Bitcoin ? on: May 26, 2018, 05:55:59 AM
a Quantum Computer is not something that is mass produced like PCs and given to all people. it is used for certain things and it is a rare thing. additionally bitcoin is not using some unique cryptography that nobody else uses! the SHA256 for instance is used by a lot of other sectors and if Quantum computers become a risk they become a risk to a lot of different sectors not just bitcoin.
1969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing to Ripple on: May 25, 2018, 06:39:58 AM
just because you see a lot of topics and advertisement about a certain altcoin that doesn't mean that altcoin is good and it certainly doesn't mean people are investing in it. what it means in 99% of the times is that people have been bag holding that altcoin which got pumped and reached its ATH and they are fearing the dumping part of the process and know they are about to lose a lot of money or they have already lost a lot of money and want it to recover so they are advertising the shit out of it so that they can get some other victims buying that altcoin so they can dump it and get out.
1970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision in panic! on: May 25, 2018, 06:25:50 AM
Panic for what?

Since i trade on exchange, panic will be friend everyday. If price going low, and we think will going up again but price going down more, it will make you to sell you coin immediately. It is called PANIC SELLING.

If i in condition panic, i decide to hold around 2 week, and sell it whatever will be.

you are not panic selling, that part is right but what you do is not right either! you are panic holding!
when price goes down every experience trader knows that they have to sell and you have to do it as fast as possible.
you should not confuse "panic selling" with "stop loss". these are two very different things. a panic sell is when the dump is already over and price is at the bottom and you sell so that you miss out on the recovery. but a stop loss is when you sell a long time before the dump has ended to prevent a big loss and protect your investment.
also the "panic holding" is when a newbie thinks if he holds that altcoin that is getting dumped he is being right and he will make a profit. but what happens in reality is that the newbie loses a lot of money, locks his funds in some shitcoin that got dumped and because he will wait a very long time for the recovery and finally he will panic sell eventually at a much bigger loss.
1971  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a trading university/school? on: May 25, 2018, 06:13:02 AM
trading and all the things you can learn about it such as from the links that were posted so far and topics such as Technical Analysis,..... and a lot more are not exactly scientific which means you can not really rely on them and you definitely can not start a school for something that is not even a real science.
there are concepts in trading that mostly cover economics (for example the most popular thing that everyone talks about is supply and demand) but it is covered in economics and those courses not a "trading" course.
1972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Says the Cryptocurrency Bull Rally is Near on: May 25, 2018, 05:41:24 AM
I believe McAfee and his opinion. Because people say that he only makes money with someone to declare. Because his thoughts are always open, and always calm despite the bearish market. There are many experiences about his crypto. He always supports crypto to improve it since he is expert about crypto and knows a lot.

He's calm because he made a lot of money pumping altcoins. He was rich long before that, but this recent goldmine that he discovered has set him up for another 10 years of coke, whisky and cigars. If you made a million USD this year, you'd also be happy and calm. Somebody should ask him how much BTC he's holding and how much he cashed out during crashes, although I doubt he'd be honest about it.

additionally he is getting paid a lot of money ($10000?) per each tweet he makes advertising some shitty ICO scam on his twitter account because of his followers that he actually gained by talking about bitcoin and being so controversial about it. not to mention that he has been participating in shitcoin pump groups himself and fooling newbies into buying certain shitcoins which they pumped afterwards.
1973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin can learn from early FM radio adoption on: May 25, 2018, 05:34:06 AM
bitcoin isn't the AM or FM frequencies if you want to make a comparison. bitcoin is the Radio itself in this case that was capable of receiving and translating AM frequencies and nothing else when it started. and slowly it evolved and added other things too, it added FM frequency and could receive that too and then it added cassette players to itself so it was capable of reading those too and added a bunch more and continued being improved.

as for why FM over AM, it has to do with their characteristics. for example FM has a much better sound quality due to its higher bandwidth and also less prone to interference than AM. it is also less susceptible to noise.
so i say it had nothing to do with the "chicken and egg" at all. there was a new technology that was offering some better features (bitcoin versus fiat) so they added it. the adoption for it happened slowly at the same time....
i still don't like the comparison though.
1974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you think About "Tether" coin. on: May 23, 2018, 06:27:10 AM
you can use it but you should never hold it and definitely not use it a lot.

Tether is very convenient because its price is always (99% of the times) equal to 1 USD. and that is a nice feature to have when trading and when you don't want to use fiat.
but it is a shady coin because it is centralized and the company behind it is shady. they don't have nearly enough funds to back all the tokens and they never even guaranteed the price of it so it can drop to $0.01 and there is nothing you can do about it. or it can even disappear and fall to zero.
1975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the longer the cryptocurrency market falls on: May 23, 2018, 06:15:16 AM
what should we do, see the market is getting down every day, whether we still buy or we must hold, how do you think?

buy and hold what? there are nearly 2000 altcoins out there so which one do you have your eye on?

most of them are getting dumped, specially the top altcoins which have been pumped more than any other altcoin and never got dumped properly. you should never buy and hold these coins that are still in big bubbles.
but there are a lot more fish in the sea and you can make profit from those that are not in a bubble yet and have a potential of getting pumped. these  can give you good profit in this current dumping market.
1976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong hands VS Weak hands, who will win? on: May 23, 2018, 06:09:39 AM
it is just manipulation and this will also pass. for the time being price is falling and they have successfully created a nice downtrend with a lot of continuous dumps and if someone is finding this unacceptable they should stay away from bitcoin market for the time being and wait until the manipulation stops and a better logical trend shapes up and then come back in.

bitcoin is growing big and everyone knows it. that is why they also want to have access to bitcoin as cheap as possible so that they can buy more of it before it is too late.
1977  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you know the Estimated Price of Bitcoin in 2019? You will be surprised. on: May 22, 2018, 05:14:56 AM
Analytical agency Fundstrat Global Advisors LLK published its Forecast.
Bitcoin could soar as high as $64,000 next year, investment research firm Fundstrat predicts
"We believe the current path of hash power growth supports a BTC price of about $36,000 by 2019 year end, with a $20,000-$64,000 range," Sam Doctor, head of data science research at Fundstrat, said in a report. Hash power refers to the processing power computers need to generate bitcoins.
That's roughly four times or more from bitcoin's price Thursday of near $9,300.
The economics of bitcoin mining also likely create a support level for the cryptocurrency, Doctor said.
Source for the prediction: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/10/bitcoin-could-soar-as-high-as-64000-next-year-fundstrat-predicts.html

As the difficulty for mining bitcoin increases, it will be consuming more power and will be using high end mining rigs. Thus the overall mining activity will be very costly and in this case the miners will have no choice but to hold their bitcoins until such time that they can sell it. This move will be causing a spike on bitcoins price but the moment the expected price reached a certain level and the miners will sell their coins another temporary crash will occur. But after that the prices will go up again.

no it doesn't work like that.
when you run a business (a bitcoin mining operation in this case) then you will have bills to pay and in order to have money to pay those bills you will have to sell your product (in this case new bitcoins that you get from mining). you can't hold those and pay the bills out of your pocket. and if your business is no longer profitable you stop the costs (meaning shutting down miners).
and miners don't cause a crash because they are constantly selling their coins and majority of them don't sell on exchanges. they sell off the market.
1978  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin millioniares will crash Bitcoin to $400 on: May 22, 2018, 04:56:32 AM
sorry that you tried to short bitcoin and lost a lot of money. next time don't short something that is on the rise so that you don't get desperate to continue creating bullshit topics like this thinking you are spreading FUD Cheesy it is not even FUD, they are dumb topics that only make us laugh at you...
1979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wow ! Good news to everyone this will just happen in one day on: May 21, 2018, 09:15:26 AM
what the hell is going on with JP Morgan? they first started attacking bitcoin and called it a "fraud" and put down the whole cryptocurrency thing, then we found out that they were planning on buying a lot of bitcoin which is why they spread that FUD to cause the dip in first place then we heard them constantly put bitcoin down over and over each time their CEO was talking about literary anything unrelated he pulled the conversation towards bitcoin somehow!
now they are planning to start trading cryptocurrencies? LOL
1980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best place to buy cardano is binance on: May 21, 2018, 09:04:05 AM
Biggest exchange in terms of volume so your money is as safe as it can be.

that is what everyone was thinking about Mt Gox, Cryptsy, Bter, Bittrex, Bitfinex,... and a lot of other exchanges with huge volume before they got scammed by each of these exchanges and lost a lot of money.

centralized exchanges are never safe no matter what they look like and how many users they have. Binance is currently one of the good exchanges with a lot of volume but that doesn't make it safer than any others.
