2321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the right time? on: February 13, 2018, 06:22:28 AM
Should I sell tokens right after I got it from campaign?

if the campaign payment is part of the distribution then YES regardless of what that token is.
it doesn't matter what token because as soon as the distribution is done, specially when they give a lot of it away it means there will be a lot of it (a huge supply) in the market. even if a small percentage of the people having those tokens decide to sell (which they will) the price will drop initially. selling fast means you get the higher prices.
then if you are really interested in that token and think it can rise up, you can simply buy back at the bottom.
2322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have you noticed bitcoin price now was quite stable? on: February 13, 2018, 06:15:46 AM
usually after a series of wild swings, there is a stability period like this with much less volatility. and most of the times that stability period with a high volume indicates an accumulation phase with everyone buying more and more (the small constant rise from $8100 to $8700 is a good sign too).
i don't want to predict any rallies, at least not until price reaches $9500+

by the that is one of the reasons we are seeing more altcoin pumps these days because bitcoin price is stable again.
2323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nuclear Facility with Super Computer used to Mine Bitcoint got busted! on: February 13, 2018, 06:07:24 AM
what an idiot Cheesy

i mean i can get someone mining at work with their work computer in a shitty company, even a government institute or something like that but to mine in top secret facility and doing it with a super computer which is not there for anyone to access at anytime they want, is just dumb.
all your activities are monitored 24/7 in such facilities and there is even more monitor on a super computer's usage!
2324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: next market circle / alt season on: February 11, 2018, 07:15:50 AM
you can never predict when the "cycle" happens for a specific coin because the pumpers and market makers decide that and it depends on the coins they are pumping. sometimes they pump a number of coins some of which take a longer time and a bigger pump so the pump of the first coin you start with at the beginning of the cycle is postponed. and sometimes there are also other factors like the bitcoin price drop which causes the market wide crash which will then postpone everything.

but the total market cycle which is a pumping season for almost all the altcoins is easier to predict. it usually happens before Summer and it lasts through it when a lot of kids come around and lose money to the whales.
2325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Litecoin on: February 11, 2018, 07:01:47 AM
if you bought Litecoin in the recent big dip then you have made a very good investment with low risk. if you just bought it after the dip, it is still a good investment but you are taking a little more risk because it may take a longer time before a big pump comes to litecoin.
for now i see other altcoins are getting pumped, mostly the smaller ones with smaller price are getting pumped big time. there will be a market wide pump in a couple of months though and LTC will be one of the coins that will get a good pump then at the very least.
2326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Novogratz Sees Bitcoin Reaching $40,000 Next Year on: February 11, 2018, 06:50:20 AM
Price will be 70 k end of 2018.
You must be keen on saving John's member. John is most likely using whatever time he has left with it because not many people believe we'll go above $50k anytime soon.
With what I saw in the first month of this year I'm not expecting another rush towards $20k this year and that's all. The sale pressure at 20k is going to be huge again and we'll end up bouncing from it. There's not enough money on the market to bring us to $50k or more.

there is a lot of money in the market that can bring bitcoin price to $50k and above and there is a lot more where that came from standing outside of the market watching and waiting because they don't want to risk it or  because of a lot of different reasons such as all the FUD that is going around.
we never thought there would be enough money to bring price from $900 to $20000 in 2017 but you can see that the rise happened and it happened very easily.
2327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Many bitcoin holders have a fear they think it' bobble on: February 11, 2018, 06:42:50 AM
only newbies have the fear of the "bubble", others know that bubbles are not as advertised. they are far smaller in size and the bottom of the correction after the bubble is a lot higher than the FUDsters advertise it to be. the rest of the drop is panic caused by the FUD and thanks to the newbies who don't understand anything of this market and start dumping at the bottom after the bubble was corrected and over.
2328  Other / Off-topic / Re: The evergreen question, Will Bitcoin survives in future? on: February 11, 2018, 06:35:38 AM
the only reason why this question is being asked repeatedly by newbie (aka throwaway accounts and farming accounts) is that in at least 90% of the times we are seeing a farmer creating a spam topic where him and his alts and others can spam.
and in 10% of the times there is some lazy person who can't lift a finger to do a little search and educate himself. he just heard someone telling him bitcoin is a good investment which will make you rich so he now has concerns. LOL
2329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When XRP (Ripple) to moon? on: February 09, 2018, 07:28:10 AM
we had a big ripple pump recently, you can not expect a shitcoin like that to get pumped every week all year long while there are 1700+ other shitcoins that can be pumped so much easier than an already pumped shitcoin.

although it is impossible to tell when the pump is going to come but it takes a couple of months at least to get properly dumped and go down to very low prices then start the pump for real and make money from newbie idiots who buy late into the pump on the peak of it.
2330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best cryptocurrency to invest in right now? on: February 09, 2018, 07:07:23 AM
I think it's better bitcoin, but not today. you have to wait for bitcoin back down. because I predict it will still go down.

and I see also some good altcoin to invest like NEO, FLXX, Riple, ZCash, UTT, Ignis and others. and I prefer the Ripple because Ripple's stock reaches trillions. and will last very long.

you are contradicting yourself here!
you can not both predict a bitcoin price fall and at the same time predict an altcoin price rise. it will never happen like that unless an exception occurs which is rare and it will not be in the big coins. the exceptions will be small coins that nobody even knows of which are getting pumped regardless of the general market direction.

if bitcoin falls altcoins will follow like they always do.
2331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wall street will turn ETHER? on: February 09, 2018, 07:00:43 AM
ethereum advertising team has started releasing these articles once again because their coin lost more than 70% of its value and now they are desperate to get it back and pump it once more.

upvotesclub.com/the-ethereumization-of-wall-street-is-inevitable-expe-news/

unfortunately for WS the big players (banks) are already in ethereum. they have nothing to say if they try to enter it now.

As a matter of fact, I think that once the cryptos will be "properly regulated" you will have to get "qualified investor" status in order to trade them.
Why?
Because the government needs to protect you! Smiley

the government can do whatever the fuck they want, bitcoin and the other decentralized currencies (excluding ETH because it is already centralized) will remain decentralized and will be traded in a decentralized manner if they push too hard with unrealistic and unfair regulations.
2332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best cryptocurrency to invest in right now? on: February 09, 2018, 06:39:25 AM
the obvious answer (like always) is bitcoin. you shouldn't be asking this!

then if you are a trader and willing to take the risks of altcoins you choose the altcoins which are getting pumped. right now for example E-coin is getting pumped. then from your options bitcoin cash is also getting pumped. you find these coins in their initial steps of getting pumped then buy them for a good profit when you dump them in less than a day.
2333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transactions with Trusted person!! on: February 09, 2018, 06:35:26 AM
as long as the fiat method you choose to receive money with has a way for the sender to perform a charge back you are going to be at risk. depending on the easiness of that charge back the risks can be higher or lower. for example PayPal has the biggest risk because not only the person can charge back but also your account can be closed because you broke their ToS when you used PayPal to trade cryptocurrencies!
2334  Economy / Speculation / Re: $9,800 will be the target for current uptrend, bullets are fired. on: February 08, 2018, 10:16:59 AM
it is a little hard for me to believe that $9800 will be the target because some price levels are kind of "fate sealing" if that's a thing! what i mean is if price goes closer to the major buy support that everyone knows which was at $10k that can practically turn some switches on in some traders to jump in with both feet and price may shoot up above $10k so much faster and easier than any other time.
2335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can logic sway the BTC community? (Segwit is dead) on: February 08, 2018, 10:02:07 AM

i can't tell if you are trolling or today is attack-bitcoin-day Cheesy
but let me put it in simple words for you so you may understand:

when you have an election like electing a president, do you keep voting for him all through 4 years of service or does "the voting" happen only in a fixed period of time (1 day) and repeated in case it couldn't get the majority's vote?
that is the same with that chart. the miners voted, it was not majority we moved to next period, they voted finally it got the majority and the president (SegWit) was elected. that link is just a dumb website that is still counting the votes even after the election was over ~6 months ago ...
2336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's progress is due to these volunteers on: February 08, 2018, 09:53:43 AM
well they are employed by Blockstream and are getting paid in fiat to do what they are doing. most of them are anyways so it is not so volunteer-y as you think. but yeah that is how an open source project should work. people who understand the code or even those who don't but use it, contribute in any way they can be it reviewing the code, adding/removing/improving it, or testing and reporting bugs. and it is not just the developers that are involved. you can see the contributions on github for example.
2337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: That's why I chose bitcoincash instead of bitcoin. on: February 08, 2018, 09:48:25 AM
I believe bitcoincash (BCH) over Bitcoin (Bitcoin core),
we have no coin which is called "bitcoin core". there is bitcoin cash and bitcoin.

Quote
bitcoincash is the original that satoshi nakamoto wrote out as originally, the reason:
when you compare two things, you omit the things they share specially when you are saying one is better than the other because of ....
i don't know if you are just trying to make your list longer or just wasn't thinking but half your list is shared between two. in fact the only thing that you can claim is not shared is the fees. now lets get down to it.

Quote
Bitcoincash is full of: "Low cosh transaction fees,
only because nobody is using it. it shares this attribute with at least 1500 altcoins with empty blocks which contain less than 20 tx. when you have blocks that are only 2-3% full (200-300 kB) you get low "cost" transactions.

Quote
Fast peer to peer transactions,
that is the attribute of any peer to peer network! you are sending a transaction which is practically some data on average 250 bytes with some overhead which won't even reach 1 kB which you will send/receive in an instant!

Quote
Reliable transactions,
i don't know what you have in mind when you say "reliable". care to elaborate?

Quote
Accept 0 confirmation transations,
that has never been a good idea. double spending a transaction with 0 confirmation is not as hard as you think. and from day 1 of bitcoin's existence i don't think anybody ever suggested 0 confirmation is safe and you started this topic with the words "Satoshi's vision"!

Quote
Decentralized development teams,
it is more centralized than you think.
research about how the fork for difficulty adjustment was performed....

Quote
Permissionless network and development,
you already said the development and the network is permissionless now but it won't last long if blocks start to become 8 MB and then they fork to 32 MB and running a full node becomes harder and harder and eventually impossible for regular people and you end up with centralized hubs which are the only option for you to connect to.

Quote
Open source code,
as if the rest of 1700 altcoins are closed source?

Quote
Limited supply (21 million coins), Proof of Work algorithm (SHA-256), Dates back to the Genesis block, Digital currency
well BCH forked from bitcoin's source code and shares all the consensus rules up to the date of the fork (~1 August) and nothing has changed in these consensus rules. as i said above these are not reasons for preferring it over bitcoin.
2338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are people doing? on: February 07, 2018, 07:43:28 AM
many have been panicking for the past 2 weeks. first they started panic selling because the dumps began and prices were falling then they started panic buying in the first small recovery but the followed it by another panic sell because it was not the end of the dump and prices continued falling more.

now that bitcoin has a rise from its bottom and the dumping has stopped (possibly temporarily) they have started to panic buy again.

meanwhile some others have been shorting during this down time and have been making a good amount of money while whales fully controlled the price.
2339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verge talk on: February 07, 2018, 07:24:18 AM
your strategy is only good in a coin that you know is going to rise in long term not a pump and dump coin like Verge. you do this strategy with bitcoin for example.
it is worth mentioning that buying in the dips while the coin is getting pumped is a good strategy because you are buying more and more with the same amount while the price is rising overall. but any time other than that you will be buying the dips of a downward spiral and in the end you will be left with a total number of coins which is worth less than your invested amount.
2340  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin up 40% from October 2017, there is no Crash or bubble!! on: February 07, 2018, 07:12:17 AM
there is just a lot of things wrong with this topic and the title here!

there was a bubble. but it was not as big as they advertised it. and it was corrected (burst) a long time ago and it was over. somewhere around $12k-$14k the bubble was long over.

then there was a crash. a crash which was manipulation and fake dumps to push the price down combined with a lot of FUD in the media to intensify the panic. and it was successful which you now can see the result of it on the charts.
