1941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy Privacy Privacy! on: June 02, 2018, 04:57:29 AM
Every information is made public.

not "every" information is made public. only what is required. the blockchain only contains your transactions not your identity, YOU are revealing your identity and linking it elsewhere not on the blockchain and not as far as bitcoin is concerned.

in short bitcoin may not be anonymous but it provides a very good level of privacy that is more than enough for all the regular users who are not trying to hide the law but only trying to maintain their privacy.
1942  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin technology has been obsolete, why bitcoin prices still expensive? on: June 02, 2018, 04:52:20 AM
only an idiot would call bitcoin  technology obsolete, i wanted to say newbie but a newbie never makes such dumb statements. it is like saying the newest iPhone the iPhone X or CPU core i9 for example is obsolete why is it too expensive Cheesy
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash on: June 01, 2018, 06:40:46 AM
BOth are good, but i believe that bitcoin cash brings more profit than bitcoin. If you want to be rich in a short time and you can take a small risk, try to invest your money in bitcoin cash, it will never fail you. ANd if you do not have the ball to invest in bitcoin cash, bitcoin is the safest investment on the cryptoucrrency market

everything you said here is wrong!
- bitcoin is good not both
- bitcoin can give you a lot more profit with a lot less risk than BCH can with its possible pumps. and if it is profit that you want then any much smaller shitcoin can have much bigger pumps so they can give you more profit in short term.
- if you want to take a big risk and want top become rich then invest in a super cheap shitcoin that  can get pumped for example from 10 satoshi to 10000 satoshi. it happens a lot more often than BCH can be pumped ever.
1944  Economy / Speculation / Re: Throwing money to garbage no more! on: June 01, 2018, 06:24:14 AM
Investing in bitcoin is just like throwing money in the garbage especially if you over think on what will happen to your money and just like throwing it to the garbage.
if you really believed half this statement then you would have never signed up on bitcointalk.org to talk about bitcoin  Cheesy

Quote
This is why more bitcoin haters and negative issues has been thrown.
there are bitcoin lovers only, they spread hate and FUD so that they can buy more of it while the price is low and not $1 million per coin!

Quote
But look cryptocurrency now? It has already establish and being embraced by millions of people that includes celebrity, politicians and even the powerful individuals around the world.
bitcoin is not cryptocurrency in general.

Quote
So now, do we need to be afraid of joining and investing bitcoin? I,m afraid if you still say that you are afraid to join and invest. You should try to taste a good food in your plate and do not just stare on it.
you started this topic with the statement saying it is "throwing money in garbage" if you invest in bitcoin! are you contradicting yourself or haven't yet made up your mind?
1945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End of Month Performance on: June 01, 2018, 06:15:33 AM
past performance isn't an indicator of future results.

it depends on the conclusion that you want to make from the "past performances".
for example if you want to take a look at the charts of a certain month and say because it was like this in that month it should also be the same this month, then your statement is correct.
but the conclusion can be this:
bitcoin is being slowly adopted and growing more. over the long term price of it will increase no matter the huge jumps or drops that it has in short term like in one month.
1946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you need to know before investing in crypto on: June 01, 2018, 06:04:35 AM
apart from a bad translation from Philippines to English, it is mentioning a good but obvious point. because bitcoin has a lot of potential it has been performing well and will continue to do so. this made a lot of scammers want to come in and earn a lot of it by scamming others. these scams are from spreading malware, to running scam services. and then with introduction of ICOs and how easy it is to scam people that way they switched there to continue ripping people off.
1947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Broke my heart. on: May 31, 2018, 04:46:13 AM
That is 2/8. What the!!!
When you love something and suddenly you see this.
Madness + sadness = Keyboard destroyed

and what exactly is "this"? the market? you are surprised because it is the first time you saw the cryoptocurrency market, is that it?

that is how it worked for as long as it existed. when something is getting pumped, it attracts a lot of volume. when it is getting pumped hard it attracts even more volume.
and when something is stable (has small moves instead of swinging 30+%) it attracts less volume.
here EOS is the pumping coin and bitcoin is the stable one.

come back in a while and check it and you will see.

here is a fun shitcoin in rank #3 with $430 volume Cheesy

posted it here a year ago: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1780445.0
1948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coins for 2x profit on: May 30, 2018, 06:56:49 AM
In a bear market like this, who knows... most posting in this thread will simply state whatever coin they happen to own themselves. I guess best bet is to play the market, look for an undervalued coin that is being crushed that also has an 'event' coming up on its roadmap, and hope for the best.

good answer.
whenever someone asks a question like this 99% of the answers only list the coins they are bag holding themselves. and whenever you check the charts of these coins you can see they have been dropping hard!

at the same time the market is always active 24/7/365. there are lots of things happening, a lot of different pumping groups which are pumping different shitcoins left and right and making a lot of profit. locking up your funds in one altcoin and wishing for it to rise is never going to make you any money. you should always move around in the market and hunt the profit down.
1949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to ask, whether the price of altcoins at the end of the year getting down on: May 30, 2018, 06:47:43 AM
unless we see another pumping season, the altcoins will continue getting dumped and go lower. for the time being we are on a dumping spree that has not yet ended so you should expect a much lower price from all the altcoins before this dumping season ends.

my guess is that we may see at least one short pumping period during summer since the dumps have gone on quite long by then  but i have not yet decided whether it can last longer than a short period or not.
1950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading big and quick. on: May 30, 2018, 06:35:15 AM
this is more like gambling than trading. it has some traces of trading in it and uses the market and the price but what it does with it is pure gambling and because of that it is mostly unpredictable and highly risky. it is your choice whether you want to choose this option or not. the "analysis" and "strategy" mostly look like a joke to me regarding this one.

What site will you suggest for better understanding of trading?

unfortunately that is not something you can learn from a "website". that is something you have to learn on your own. it is an experience which can only be gained if you dirty your hands and start trading and hanging around in the market (on exchanges looking at charts).
1951  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH on: May 30, 2018, 06:20:07 AM
In my time on BCT my opinion is that the negativity towards bitcoin is at an ATH.
The amount of threads spreading FUD and negativity are growing the longer
bitcoin fails to deliver the great expectations of some people.

nah. there is a lot of FUD around and it is growing each day because price is not rising but it is far from its ATH. the maximum level of FUD will be when price reaches the bottom and doesn't go any lower any longer and probably when it reverses and starts rising right after the bottom.
that is the time when everyone who missed the chance to buy at the bottom, or wanted a lower price to buy at start spreading nonsense in the name of FUD thinking they can achieve their dreams.
1952  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should know a new investor in this market? on: May 30, 2018, 06:14:48 AM
definitely stay away from ICOs. and by extension it is best to stay away from altcoins too.
stick to bitcoin and only invest a small amount of money that you can afford to lose.
study the market and try to learn about the things that affect it. try to gain experience by looking at the charts.
stay away from groups that call themselves "trading groups" "trading signals" and the obvious ones: "pump groups" they are all the same and are scams.
then slowly if you gained experience you can invest more and also expand into altcoins if you felt the need.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Indian govt. may impose tax on crypto on: May 29, 2018, 07:10:33 AM
well the Indian government tried so hard to ban cryptocurrencies and prevent or at least limit the number of people who invest in bitcoin but all their attempts failed miserably and they ended up with a lot of angry people and a lot of petitions against this decision of the government so they had to choose an alternative route of adding taxes to it. now they are trying to make it harder for people to invest in bitcoin by asking them to pay high taxes. i say this will also fail and Indians will continue to invest in bitcoin even more than before ...
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to eradicate scam in cryptocurrency ? on: May 29, 2018, 07:00:40 AM
no.
what you are suggesting will create more scams but now they will all have to spend a little more money to bribe that centralized website that you just proposed to list their scam. what happens is that this website of yours that you say should be the "symbol of trust in this industry" sees they have a lot of audience and the possibility to earn a lot of money that is not easily earned through their ads so what they do is that they ask for money to list these new shitcoins on their website and cover them.
the scammers seeing that will gladly pay the fee to get their crap advertised. now you have a lot of scams + a scammer website that advertises them and a lot of people who fall for it + those that fall for it through that website.
1955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Real Reason Behind Bitcoin’s Price Crash. on: May 29, 2018, 06:41:08 AM
Do you agree with the reason?
no because this news belongs to months ago which was the deadline for tax payers to pay their taxes and that was just a speculation that this might happen and price had a little drop by that time and recovered right after.

Quote
What is your thinking that how long it would take to recover the market condition.
as soon as the manipulation stops and the whales run out of bitcoin to dump and decided now is the time to buy back what they have been selling.

Quote
I have got the news from a renowned website. As a newbie, I am not sharing the link here. Do you want the reference?
no, thank you! websites that you find this kind of stuff on are full of shit all the time. don't waste your time on them...
1956  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Get a bitcoin to solve the puzzle on: May 29, 2018, 06:31:05 AM
I don’t think that this news is possible because bitcoin is very high valuation crypto currency and it is about worth 8300$ so how could one pay such a huge amount for solving a puzzle

according to your price report which is about $1000 or a week older than the current price it seems like you are really unaware of things that are going on in bitcoin world and it is not just limited to bitcoin price Cheesy
there has been a lot of puzzles like this in the past and many of them have given away a lot higher amounts than this. there was a 32BTC puzzle if i am not mistaken recently. there was another 0.5BTC one last year which was a bunch of pictures each pointing to a single letter in a private key and many others like this. 1 bitcoin isn't that much for many of early adopters!
1957  Economy / Speculation / Re: Remember, Bitcoin is the best Cryptocurrency to Hodl. on: May 29, 2018, 06:22:02 AM
At a time when the price of cryptocurrencies fluctuate sharply at any sign of not too good news, do not press the panic red button on your Bitcoin.
Remember the Pizza guy!
In Bitcoin I trust, come Bull or Bear.

What about pizza guy? That he spent hiss fortune to trade for pizza? Do you know that if I bought pizza with that much bitcoin I would be dead by now because I would commit suicide for sure. He haven't hold his coins how much he had lost over time I can't believe it. What about him are you trying to tell us ? It is easier said than done as many people want quick buck out of it I still feel sorry for people being dumb enough to buy in between all time high in the 15k till 20k range as they haven't knew what they are doing. If you are serious you would buy now when everyone is selling because this is called the sale buddy.

first of all you are saying this because you don't understand that bitcoin is a currency first and an investment second last. what the "pizza guy" did only proves that people back in the days were understanding this whereas these days people only care about earning more money out of bitcoin.
secondly it is only your assumption that it was "his fortune" spend. how do you know that he doesn't already have another 10000BTC. for example if i buy a Pizza with 0.002BTC and bitcoin goes to $10 million dollar you  would say i spend a fortune on a pizza but i own a lot more than 0.002BTC!
1958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Altcoin be independent ? on: May 27, 2018, 06:56:00 AM
So can Altcoin break all the relationship from bitcoin and run as a independent currency.

yes but only if they start becoming real independent currency!
so far almost all the altcoins specially all the top coins are not a currency. they are all tools for speculation by traders and have no other use cases. this means only people who want bitcoin invest in altcoins and do it to profit on their bitcoins and when things are bad they dump altcoins because they were temporary means anyways.
1959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it to continue? on: May 27, 2018, 06:50:12 AM
it is not just about not being worth it for all of them. for example if someone is giving you free money then take it but if they are asking you to take 10 different steps and jump through hoops to receive it, specially if they want personal information, personal social media like facebook,... from you then it is not worth wasting your time on it to receive some worthless token in the end and then bend over backwards to sell it and get real money out of it.
so analyze each of them and see if the time it takes for you to claim and dump one of them is worth the reward you will get in the end.
1960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Irish authority published its new cryptocurrency taxation guidance. on: May 27, 2018, 06:16:01 AM
and there is no assurance that they will only take coins for what they are worth, if they decided that they will take an equivalent of .01 btc from you, at today's value, no one would agree, and why would they give out their names and all their assets, where will be the anonymity?

if they wanted to take tax in bitcoin then they would have had to see bitcoin as a currency which they clearly are not. so they take taxes in fiat. in other words when you have 0.01BTC and it is worth $75 and then it goes up to $20000 and that same amount is worth $200 you have to pay a tax on the profit you made (assuming amount falls above the minimum amount you have to pay taxes on). and you pay it in fiat. and it would be something like $5 on your $125 profit or something like that.
