I'm not sure whether I should get 2x Pi's for 4x asic rigs, or a USB hub.
I want another cool rainbow case.

I am also getting 4 SC (first batch).  My thought is to spread the 4 out lest one of the rigs go down I wont 240Gh in one swoop.

Later on I wont mind, but in the beginning every hour will count.

I am using the Vibrator electricity, but it gives only 2-3V so I have to up them for my 12V relay.
I use the sensor from a ball mouse to up the voltage, i think its called a omnitron, sorry my English ain't that good, but later I found 3V and 5V relays from my local electric store which trigger with 2-3V without a problem.
The phone is set to vibrate just once with a particular melody, so I let it ring once and close.

Dude, that's cool.  I wish I had thought of that!

Has anyone ever done a mini fridge rig, or an old school locker with air conditioning?  Maybe reading up on Peltier coolers would help a bit.

Hi! I havent uploaded any pictures here yet. A while ago i stopped mining because of the noise and heat issues. I had to solve this issue. This is how i solved it Cheesy

Yes so i bought a box, and isolated it and added ventilation. The Cold air intake is at the bottom, and goes up on the opposite side from the warm air outtake. I have added a  I have another plate over so the the fans sucks the warm air into the little space then out of the box.

So atm the box is outside and i have one rig doing some mining :-)

I will upload more pictures tonight(at work at the moment).

The amount of power required to cool a GPU with a TEC cooler would not be worth it in the long run unless you didn't pay for power.... But I think putting that money towards more GPU's would be more logical..

Peltier coolers are best case approximately 60% efficient, its hard to find good numbers as there are so many variables involved. So you would need at least a 230 watt one to cool a gpu at all and almost tripling power usage and heat output. I tried to cool a 45 watt low power cpu with a 73 watt peltier and it failed to do so at full power.

Has anyone ever done a mini fridge rig, or an old school locker with air conditioning?  Maybe reading up on Peltier coolers would help a bit.

I had a few of the Coolit Freezone's..... I had two of them in 1 loop..... I was running gas lines to help keep the condensation down...... My idle temps were like 5'C with a max of about 20'C @ 100% load.... .

Wonder if might they let you put a crate like this into checked luggage? ... If on were to be going on talking tour of the beginning of bitcoin, earlier miner rig prop is great for show and tell part .... maybe remove the suspicious looking cellphone trigger mechanism?
