I'm trying to figure out how money I have is "mine" there seems to be no account to store my money in.. :/
Is there a paypal like website that I can create an account and store my bitcoins there? I'm sorry I'm just having trouble figure out how this works
Think of bitcoin as cash in your wallet. You don't create an account for cash. It's just..your.

Get a hardware keylogger and put it in series with the keyboard cable. Then have your parents install something innocuous like a math study program. After they are done, retrieve the administrator password from the keylogger.
Then earn enough bitcoin to buy a computer!

This is fascinating stuff.
I would like to pay somebody to write a comprehensive exhaustive history of cyrptocurrencies and its evolution, 5 BTC an article and under the public domain.. (My magazine don't make me any money for now so excuse my poor pay rate)

The Bitcoin supply cap models real world commodities like gold and silver of which there is a fixed supply in the universe (nuclear trickery, notwithstanding).
Or asteroid mining!

What will the Chinese students do with their bitcoin at the end of the class?

So, Nefario's students could possibly get more money this way too.

Those who save will have a strong disincentive to inflate the money supply.

Reddit people seem to be understanding bitcoin a whole lot more than they used to.

If I want to submit an article, what formatting options do I have?
Is it just plain html? I'm cool with that. bold/italic, 2 header sizes and 'display: block' images.
Good site. Perfect and simple.
Markdown is the formatting of choice. Site is very simple because there was no time for evolution, but I'll try to keep it fast.

I know there are some psychological forces in play concerning wages, but laborers who accept a slowly falling wage instead of striking or quiting will do much better and others will learn and follow their lead.
Perhaps the labor force will be largely freelancer so the physiological forces goes away.

Congradulations, you have your simple interface, real nice.
You might import some of the older articles from the previus site over, that will fill things out a bit.
I must say you've really kept up with this.
I am no longer burdened by an overly complex interface. Now, I can powerfully manipulate the site whereas before I feel very weak and limited by the complexity.

We have to win the PR war before it becomes a problem. A government must ultimately bend to the will of its people. If we can make bitcoins popular, if we can make any action against it unpopular, then we won't have much to fear. We need some sort of vehicle for bitcoins. Something that will be wildly popular, innocuous, and built on bitcoins. Something that the government could never squelch without looking insane. Bitcoin needs a Farmville. How about a public domain real time strategy game that use bitcoin to represent energy resources? It fulfill the "kitty activism" requirement. 1. innocuous 2. fun, one would hope. 3. Also, it's public domain. It's a gift to the people.

This is very difficult to measure. It's a game of whims and desires in the end. The best measurement is, frankly, the market at hand; whatever anyone is willing to pay and accept. This whole game of defining what people are truly owed is silly. It only reminds me of today's absurd concept of a "living wage".
I can't imagine living a life without profit. I wouldn't have any saving.
