I think, as mentioned before, the problem is that most of the British people are wanting to buy BTC instead of sell it. This alone makes the demand higher.
Glad to know others are out there with the same problem.
As for an exchange, since MTGox is already very well established, it doesn't matter what exchange people use, it is going to be roughly around that price, and so the UK prices will be 'pegged' to the BTC price in dollars.
Did BitCoin explode in America significantly before anywhere else in the worlds? It just seems that most of the guys who have BitCoins are in America, the First Miners.
According to the country poll, The Americans made up 1/3 of the population.

http://wiki.kibabase.com/Why_I_UnlicenseIt's an article said why I am unlicensing my content in the first place. It's for my "Kibabase" brand. I was hoping someone could do a critique of it to make it much more persuasive.

On a different note (but still somewhat related), what Bitcoin truly needs is an service that everyone would and will use. What I mean is basically this: Let's say for example the guy who was going to set up a point-and-click/survey site that pays Bitcoins actually did get this up and running. The hope is that people who can't afford to mine (like myself) or others who just wish for a (somewhat) steady flow of a few Bitcoins use this. The dream would be if nearly every Bitcoiner used this service (or some other large and multi-person-ran service). In my opinion, Bitcoin would have a far easier time reaching parity with the USD if there were a FEW (not just one or 2) large, central services that gave people a small income of Bitcoins. This would help in 3 main ways:
1.) For people who don't have the time or skill to set up their own Bitcoin-earning service/product, these multi-person-ran businesses would help them earn a small yet fairly steady income of Bitcoins to trade on the market. This option would especially appeal to teens, who can't afford a high-end mining rig, or because they are students, they don't have the time for their own Bitcoin business.
2.) Besides helping out people who don't have the time nor money to mine or set up a Bitcoin business, "wealthy" Bitcoiners and the ones who DO mine/have Bitcoin services will earn a few extra Bitcoins from this, as well. This, again, will add value to Bitcoins, as more are earned and then traded. However, this would only add significant value to them if this "central earning service" was large enough that it catered to most all Bitcoiners, and if there were more than just a couple of these services.
First of all, you talk too much. Here's a hint: www.operationfabulous.com. Anybody can set up a blog, an advertisement space, and start blogging. 3.) Besides allowing the users of these services to earn a few Bitcoins, the owners and employees of them would have a nice, fat fistful of golden Bitcoins that are constantly at their bidding. What we do NOT want is one or more of these services being ran by one, single person, as that person would, if their service was executed successfully, become unbelievably rich in Bitcoins. They may not immediately gain wealth, but over time, they would see an increasingly large cashflow circulating through their accounts. What we do want, instead of the "Bill Gates or Richard Branson of Bitcoins", is a business ran by several people, so the wealth could be shared, and we wouldn't have one main person making all of the market trades. Having several, semi-rich Bitcoiners would not shift the market, and make a few people making most of the trades, but instead would allow these people to largely influence the price of Bitcoins on the market. As opposed to CONTROLLING the price, influencing it would not let the price jump so randomly and be so unpredictable most of the time.
Well, that's all I have to say! Please tell me any comments you have on what I said, as I am interested in others' opinions on this subject.
If a bitcoiner provide such a valuable service, what's wrong with him becoming incredibly wealthy?

I sniff a scam. Also, there cannot be more than 21 million bitcoin.

Exactly. That's the best thing about libertarian literature.
Because libertarians are rejecting imaginary property in FAVOR of real property!

I am considering sponsoring this issue. How many BTC is required to make it downloadable for free?
You want to advertise in The Bitcoin Times? Unfortunately I have nothing to advertise, just want to help. Ok, I guess we'll just have "Sponsored by Makhul" in a page somewhere. I guess this is only going to happen when the advertiser failed to show up. In that case, I want at least 25 BTC.

would I be taking over next issue, or would I get a bunch of stuff for this issue and have people be like "hey this needs to go out NOW!" Assuming the current issue is coming out this week.
Be patient. It will be coming out soon this week. If nobody applied by Tuesday, you get the job and manages the next issue after the next issue.

this issue is done right? So the next deadline is next Sunday? If so I'll take the job.
It's not done, yet. I am waiting for my review. We're also waiting on the advertiser too. If nobody else wants it, you can have it.

JOB: EDITOR WANTED
Given the influx of interested writer, we will need an editor for the next issue.
One of your job is to basically to review articles:
1. Check for grammar. 2. Check for spelling. 3. Critique the writing.
You will also be responsible for dealing with advertisers and getting them to pay us, and so on.
It's also your job to enforce the deadline. Writers will have to submit an article for review by a certain date with no exception. Advertisers, likewise. You'll get complete freedom to set the review deadline. Just make sure the articles are ready by Sunday,(the real deadline). Any writers who missed the deadline can alway get his article submitted for the next issue.
Compensation: Currently, and temporary, your compensation is a fixed 10% of the pie. (Since fabianhjr is the chief editor, he'll get 5% of the pie because he merely package the content)
Everybody else, which are the writers, will have to fight for his share of the pie. Feel free to reject content that are unworthy of inclusion.
END JOB POST
I only want to write, not edit some other writers' stuff and talk to advertisers. So if you want my "job"(actually, the way we work right now is peer review and I am the person who talks to the advertisers), let me know.
Also, 10% of the pie is not a permanent thing. It can change if needs to be.

You guys are trying to resurrect medieval Iceland or something?

Maybe you would be interested in publishing economic articles at The Bitcoin Times, a new fledging magazine.
We already got a few writers lined up and for sure, an advertiser.

Will there be statistics for me to look at?

http://www.bitcoinservice.co.uk/files/98 0.06 BTC Yes, you heard that right! The price of my art is now 0.06 BTC. Expect reduction 0.05 BTC by 0.45 USD to bitcoin on MtGox. Today's artwork is out despite GIMP crashing all the time. However, the delay caused by GIMP is considerable.
