Not any exchanges, wallets or whatever is going to give you the identity of the person behind this adress. It will be very unethical for them to do it. They have to respect the privacy of theirs customers (no matter if they are scammers...) I will be very upset if a service is giving my personnal infos anytime someone ask them and giving a BTC adress, and you too surely

The drop is because bitcoin is useless..
This is your opinion But actually the drop was excepted. It's what some people were looking for June/July just before the August 1. Create the fear of people in the Bitcoin community, so currently people are selling their Bitcoin. Now that the price is going down, those same people who created the fear are now buying for a good price, knowing the price will boost during August/September and may get like a 30% profit

One country listed I like: Iceland. My hat for this country Iceland is the only nation that put top finance executives behind bars after the 2008 crisis. Still, fears of crony capitalism remain. This Is Where Bad Bankers Go to Prison. source https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2016-03-31/welcome-to-iceland-where-bad-bankers-go-to-prisonThe day I see this in my country, it will be a nationnal party The information is really interesting and curious. Which source did you use?
LOL did you read the post? I guess nope because it is written in the last line

The most popular abbreviation we see is BTC but yes sometimes you can see the notation XBT. This is the recognized financial name for Bitcoin. it is in accordance with the standards in the markets. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_4217) BT stands for Bitcoin, and the X means that this currency is not related to any nation or any country. On the same principle, you can find XAU for Gold, XAG for Silver, XPT for Platinum and so on.

@OROBTC What about the Rothschild and the relation with Israel? Specialy with the World War... Who "sponsored" it? They are not looking to control the world. Just the economy is enough to control all the others. Partnership with them mean to marry with others big families for more power. And sometimes between cousins. You can search for the "big families bloodline" (They are reptilians, they can not reproduce with human, ok this one is for joking... or not ) The Rothschild family is the head of the organization in which I entered in Colorado. All the Occult Brotherhoods are part of it. It is a Lucifer Organization to install his reign in the whole world. ... Supposedly the Rothschilds have personal dealings with the Devil. I have personally been in his villa and have experienced it. And I know it is true.
John Todd For the first time in its history, Western Civilization is in danger of being destroyed internally by a corrupt, criminal ruling cabal which is centered around the Rockefeller interests, which include elements from the Morgan, Brown, Rothschild, Du Pont, Harriman, Kuhn-Loeb, and other groupings as well. This junta took control of the political, financial, and cultural life of America in the first two decades of the twentieth century.

Hoping to see the banks using cryptocurrencies (any) is just asking for centralization, wich is the total opposite of the cryptocurrencies ideology. If banks have to use it then it shall be done with our own rules and not theirs, otherwise there is no use to re-invent the same wheel where finally we don't have much freedom with our own money. The day we will be able to see the traditionnal banking system adopting crypto will be only in their own interests to get their share

It's happen to several people this past weeks, including me. I don't use the same password everywhere and I don't use weak passwords. So definetely something is wrong in their system. Better safe than sorry, you should change your password and add your IP in the "IP Whitelist". Doing it only connections from your IP will be able to place orders or withdraw funds from this address

I don't know what going on with Poloniex as I don't use this website but it doesn't look good to use currently. In the "Service discussion" sub forum there are an incrasing number of topics about different problems. Still waiting their withdraws, no reply to support tickets, etc.

Something has come to my mind. Is there an exchange platform that anticipates this fateful date of the first August? I don't remember reading something about it. Otherwise if none of them has done something, don't you find that weird from a company?

Most of people speculate bitcoin dump because of 1st Aug event. But this is one of my assumptions: most of people will withdraw their bitcoin to the wallet, there will be less bitcoin on exchange causing low supply >>> price will increase. What's your opinion?
actually most people are speculating "things are not clear" and because of that anything is possible. the only reason for the price drop is the fear of a fork and a split because of it. but if that date comes and none of that happens, things will change fast from a drop into a big ass rise. because that "fear" that i told you about will no longer exist. And who is creating the fear? How? and most important, Why? People who are interested to see the price drop (see july) for their own interest, knowing that the price will surely get a boost some days/weeks after the august 1. Good deal, cheap Bitcoin, quick profits. Who is not interested to get Bitcoin a lot cheaper?

i don't think you can. The country origin of your bank account (USA) doesn't matter, what matter is that their system will see you are trying to buy while your location is currently in Argentina (IP) Otherwise everyone could bypass their system by using a foreign IP allowed by the site. I may be wrong but this is how I see it. There are serverals others exchanges surely not refusing Argentina citizens

Bitcoin is for a fact overcomplicated. For some reason, it is still very difficult for complete noobs to purchase in under 10 minutes, whereas anyone can buy stuff from Amazon with 1-click... using a traditional credit card.
How buying or using Bitcoin is overcomplicated. You just need to enter the amount you want to buy and click a "Buy" button. If it was years ago where not a lot of payment methods were offered, or with a fastidious process ok. But now I don't see how we could make it more fast and easy to buy some BTC. There are all of payment methods offered, wallets so easy to use that a baby could do it with one hand and the other with a baby bottle

This is one of the problem. People are comparing the Bitcoin value with the past two weeks or less. So if the price decrased by 10% people tend to say Bitcoin is faded, Bitcoin value is decrasing a lot, Bitcoin is dead and obsolete, etc. But people shouldn't consider with what it was just some weeks ago. Ok the value decrased by 10% but we need to look far than 2 weeks ago. Now if you consider with last year, two years ago the story is completely different. You don't compare your salary with the last month, you compare it with the previous year or more

1,676 emails came from Coinbase to an email address I've never proved Coinbase, used ONLY for one specific account on this forum. I guess you wanted to say "provided". It doesn't make sense. Even in the case Coinbase has been hacked, how do you want to receive such email notifications to an email adress you never used with Coinbase. Not sure to get it correctly. The email system of Coinbase is a bit buggy. If you noticed, when you receive a transaction their system send you an email twice for the same thing instead of just one. Coinbase is fine, otherwise you would see all the news media talking about it

I have a similar story without the happy end. A friend of mine remind that he bought 20 BTC years ago just for fun and forgot about it, he remind about it one evening when I was talking about Bitcoin and what success it reached, and he was like: "hey man, I have some, but I don't even remember where it is blah blah"
If he used an online web wallet there is maybe a thing to do to get access again to it. He may be able to identify where the wallet is hosted with Walletexplorer.com Once he find where it is, he may be able to reset the password via email. Once it's done boom, he get the bitcoin back. For 20 BTC it's good enough to spend some time to try

You don't even need to sell your products cheaper than their value. Unless you want to sell me your 20 g gold bar Credit Suisse for half the value of course Instead you can offer to people the use of an escrow if they feel more safe to trade with. Specialy here... Better to build your presence, your reputation and your contact list around the community. Once people know how reliable you are, there is no more need to worry about something.

Exactly. However maybe you will find more easy to use another exchange that deal with dollar, euro, GBP, etc and altcoins? For exemple with Kraken.com you may buy Bitcoins and trade with others altcoins directly, all in one place. The thing is for exemple in the case of Kraken you find less altcoins compared to Bittrex.com

Fiat is credit. Only commodities like gold and Bitcoin can be considered monies It was J.P. Morgan that said "Gold is money, everything else is credit" So true but unfortunately when the majority of the population will open their eyes and see it, it will be already too late for tem. The 2008 crisis is nothing compared to what will happen, and it will. Maybe in 5 years, maybe in 20 years but don't worry, the finacial collapse will happen. By the way, have you ever watched the documentary "Money as debt"? It's an animated video explaining how the monetary systems work with banking https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money_as_Debt You can find with no problem on Youtube
