7522  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken ==> Working trading platform ? on: November 22, 2017, 10:24:05 PM
When it's your first deposit they make some verifications to avoid frauds but after this, all other deposits are credited faster as it is supposed to be. And regarding your ticket, I don't know when you sent it but these days it takes about 3 days to get a reply from them. I know that they are currently busy with the major changes coming in 2 weeks and they are looking to hire over 20 persons to increase the team
7523  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cannot login Kraken? on: November 22, 2017, 10:06:24 PM
I used Kraken when I started in crypto, but after numerous errors and login failures I now use Binance, which works great and has cheap fees!! Like a comment on bitcoin.com said today, new guys like Binance will take over bussiness from the older ones ,as the old ones can't handle the growth in crypto world...

If the old ones can't handle the growth in the crypto world the small ones won't be able too. At the beginning yes as the sites are like a ghost, but once the site has a decent member base and keeps growing the problems start. And here is the difference, the big sites have funds and resources to grow while the small ones don't have
7524  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: wirexapp.com stay away for it on: November 22, 2017, 02:41:49 PM
Some citizens are forced to have their account verified (Wirex or any other service providing a prepaid card, bitcoin related or not doesn't matter) It's because of some new regulations related to the KYC that took place about 3 months ago.

So Wirex was just asking you what any other would ask you. Then the ~4$ fees are what most of the online-based wallets have set up to make transactions.

So you can't call a scam a company that abides by the laws.
7525  Economy / Speculation / Re: What'll happen when USDT collapses? on: November 22, 2017, 12:03:54 AM
What do you think about this comment on Reddit? While saying "to bring down the entire market" may be a bit exaggerating, there are accurate facts still. Bitfinex is a so suspicious platform since their hack long back and I won't be much surprised if it's turn out to be true.

Quote
This potential fraud is related to Bitfinex and their USDT token (USD - Tether). Currently Bitfinex is the second largest exchange by volume (trading $800m daily at the time of writing).
The people behind Bitfinex are “printing” endless amount of these dollar tokens (currently $370m+) which are supposed to be backed up by real dollars. They refuse to be audited and prove whether these dollars exist. Information regarding the people behind Bitfinex/Tether is slowly disappearing from their website: https://tether.to/
It is possible that Bitfinex are circulating their own token through their exchange to manipulate the order book and the price of Bitcoin. Just last year they were “hacked” to the tune of $60m in Bitcoin (which can be sold for real dollars).
Recently Bitfinex announced their withdrawal from the US market due to license difficulties, which is strange because smaller less-profitable exchanges have been able to get licenses. Surely the second biggest exchange by volume would want to be in the USA?
The average user perceives USDT to be the same as USD, which it is not. Bitfinex’s website is misleading as it lists their trading pairs in USD (when in fact you cannot actually deposit dollars). Bitcoin enthusiasts stand to lose of all their money in a Bernie Madoff style scam, if their funds are stored in USDT and/or on Bitfinex’s exchange. The collapse of the second largest exchange would likely crash the price of Bitcoin.

I loll'ed at this.  I'm pretty sure English isn't your first language but you totally get it.   But you forgot "How I can stretch post out so fill 200 character limit??"

I swear bitcointalk is making me stupid.  Everything sounds like All Your Base Belong To Us.  Someone Set Up Us The Bomb.
I wanted to use the same English level, the one not easy to understand, specially when using "bitcoin" 4 times in a single sentence.
But English is not my first language yeah, I correct my grammar with Grammarly plugin.

Some topics are really frustrating to read.

7528  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Minexcoin Scam on: November 21, 2017, 09:06:42 PM
I received my MNX without any problem within a couple of days. I didn't except them 30 minutes after asking, by the way. And I can say the same for people who I know having MNX payment in the queue. All got their due. There is no reason to call a project a scam because you received your coins 2-3 days after your request.
7529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin selling question.... on: November 21, 2017, 08:44:20 PM
There is a better solution far better than localbitcoin. To be honest it is the place I will go to sell some Bitcoins. The majority of people are using cryptos exchanges such as Kraken, Bitstamp, GDAX,  and so on. It takes a couple of seconds to sell and 2-3 clicks to request a bank transfer that you receive 24 hours later. It is far better than LocalBitcoin in a lot of points.
7530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INSANE BITCOIN TRANSACTION FEES!!!<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< on: November 21, 2017, 04:31:27 PM
Merchants don't care about the fees as you are the one paying it, not the merchants. Most of them have the bitcoins converted automatically to fiats upon receiving it. Those who don't it's because they are themselves bitcoiners

Waiting 30 minutes to confirm a transaction is decent compared with what we have ever seen from time to time. A merchant won't refuse a sale because it's taking 1 hour to confirm.

Bitcoin is not good for making small transactions it's why people buy bitcoins just to store and speculate

HOW TO MAKE A MINT: THE CRYPTOGRAPHY OF ANONYMOUS ELECTRONIC CASH

It could be a good thing if it turns out to be the truth. Let's imagine that it could be a part of the New World Order set up (1 word, 1 govt, 1 bank, 1 currency) It would mean I will be part of the new elite, participating in all the Bilderberg meetings and finally rule the world. Not bad for my future
7532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much of the bitcoin network's energy needs are met by renewable energy on: November 20, 2017, 08:24:53 PM
Bitcoin uses 0.13% of the world electricity consumption, I find this quite low compared to what we are spending on industrial activities. One of the problems with renewable energy is that it's not really predictable and based on this, the percentage of the Bitcoin network powered by such energy source is very low. It's better to rely on countries with cheap electricity than renewable energy

And guess what, it's third day and I got no reply yet from their supervisor. They obviously have a different meaning for shortly.

Don't include Saturday and Sunday because high ranked staff usually don't work on weekend. So the person has surely been informed today only. Give it until Wednesday at least. But like you I find weird that they are asking to disable 2FA, I don't see why they can ask this.
(failed attempts to login with Cex.io happened to me several time as well, (with user agent: mother fucker :/ ))
7534  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to cash out in different wallets HELP on: November 20, 2017, 07:26:23 PM
I don't know any but I am confused. Why do you want to receive a transfer to a VISA card? If you have a VISA card you have a bank account (unless it's some kind of VCC) So why not selling your coins and then transfer the funds to the bank account. It could be done within 24 hours.

7536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin being taxed? on: November 20, 2017, 12:31:32 PM
Bitcoin is a tax free currency and people are used to it because they know that if government are in to bitcoin they will add a taxes and it will cost you more . You're saying that government will reduce the little charge of sending bitcoins, i think it's impossible.

No Bitcoin isn't taxes free. You are supposed to pay taxes related to the profits you made and mining as well. No matter if the governments are in Bitcoin or not. This is a misconception from people thinking there is no need to pay any tax with Bitcoin. In some years they will maybe regret it for not having reported this income (like it can happen with any income that you don't report)
7537  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase - Views Please on: November 20, 2017, 12:07:09 PM
Coinbase has a horrible support and nonexistent most of the time, so if a day you need any help or have a question, simply forget about getting support. To add to this, they like to decide that suddenly they don't want to make business with you and so decide to close your account. And they won't give you any clear explanation.
The site itself works fine with a nice UI, etc but due to their broken support and their surprises, it doesn't make this wallet so good as people claim.
7538  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Amazon Integrate Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2017, 02:50:08 PM
amazon is the famous online market from america it? does this topic about: whether bitcoin can be a transaction tool in amazon? is it like that?
because that I know, in amazon it transactions using paypal.

Amazon never used Paypal and will surely never because they consider Paypal as a competitor (with their payment processor AmazonPay), otherwise Paypal would probably be added a long time since now. Amazon and Paypal are like cat and dog.

Also Amazon has an article before that they are planning to integrate Bitcoin to their system.
Any link to give us as a  source? Because I think it never happened otherwise the rumor would not be a rumor anymore since
7539  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex veri. on: November 19, 2017, 02:34:55 PM
Bittrex does allow multiple accounts but after checking their FAQ I see that both need to be verified and you need to submit a ticket to tell them about it. But as you are not able to verify your first one then I don't think I have given you the best advice, sorry.
7540  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on profiting off and the sustainability of HYIPs? on: November 19, 2017, 01:19:54 PM
Investing in HYIPs is not so much different than scamming, at some point. You know that the program will collapse soon or later since it's a Ponzi. And you are making money with the money invested by others. The HYIP itself is just connecting scammers and scammed people together with a platform. Taking its share of money of course.

About 10 years ago I saw someone who got a loan from his bank and invested everything in a HYIP that was very popular and hight ranked at this time. Two months later the Ponzi collapsed suddenly without warning. He lost everything. The loan was big enough that he could buy a house. The sad part, he had a wife and kids, he couldn't feed his family correctly since. Sad to see children suffering from such situation.
