8042  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitwala - Pay Your Bills With Bitcoin in Europe on: August 03, 2017, 12:52:14 PM
Hello Bitwala
I have a question regarding your service. I have a wallet with you, but a user can only have 1 wallet. Is it a problem if I create another account to be able to use a second wallet? As both will have the same first name/last name (but the bank account details used only for one account)
8043  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Mistertango - Bitcoin friendly European Bank Account + free MasterCard on: August 03, 2017, 12:35:00 PM
I know Mistertango since some time now. Good to see they finally decided to join Bitcointalk. Where were you all this time?  Cheesy
As you are here can I ask. Some French citizens have ID cards with expired date but the cards are still valids and legitimes. The Gov decided back in 2014 that the cards created before december 2013 will be still valid 5 more years. So a lot of us have a card with expired date on it for exemple 2013 june, but the card is valid until june 2018.
So my question is do you accept the case a french citizen with expired date on a card ? Fees are so cheap that I know a lot of people that will be very happy to use Mistertango as their main bank account

You can't expect foreign countries to accept out of date documents. In fact I looked it up as I often travel to Italy, a neighboring country of France, and I found out that Italy wasn't aware of this and could turn French people around at the border if they have only an out of date ID card. Following this I remade my card, and also keep a valid Passport on top.

The card is not really out of date... For example it's written 2014 but the card is valid up to 2019. And you are wrong there are several countries accepting those cards. And a lot that haven't give their position regarding accepting it or not... And since you mention Italy, I can tell you that you are wrong this country is one those countries accepting those French cards (source the French govt website and the Italy ministry foreign affairs website)

Since my previous post, I found that Lithuania is one of those countries refusing those outdated cards

Rumors from 4chan and Reddit, seriously? You should consider it with a grain of salt really! It worst than rumors on street by a jealous girl.
A site seizure, you can see it immediately as they upload their great image explaining the owner has been punished and the whois information are updated

8047  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitPicker.io - Instantly Compare Prices Across Multiple Exchanges! on: August 02, 2017, 05:41:37 PM
Nice theme you have, it gives a clean website. May I suggest one or two things:

-a multi cryptocurrencies converter from where the users enter a value and get as a result the equivalent in others cryptos. No need to convert in +800 cryptos but the most popular perhaps
- A table displaying the top 10-20 or 30 cryptocurrencies of the day. I know this can be done with coinmarketcap API

But this in separate pages of course, not displayed on the homepage, as currently the home page is cool to watch

Good luck with your website Smiley
8048  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: August 02, 2017, 05:05:04 PM
Yep, talking about recaptcha. For some reason it's really aggressive when logging into Cryptopia - I have to consistently solve more puzzles than with any other site.

Street signs are from all around the world, but all of the shopfronts show text in a South Americanish language. What's wrong with shopfronts elsewhere?  Tongue

(You may be able to tell I get hit with recaptcha a LOT... but I'm a fucking human. I think.)

If you are logged in a Google account, you don't need to click any image, just the "log in" button. As logged in a google account, you are considered clean and human in the eye of google. But still boring if each time you have to log in a google account to show you're not a bot Cheesy

As someone that has to be logged into 2 accounts on 2 machines almost permanently, i understand your pain, and sweet sweet release from recaptcha is already in test.

Thanks a lot for my sanity! I will wait to see the change with patience. I will be very happy
8049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: August 02, 2017, 04:22:04 PM
Why do you want Bitcoin dying? There are several altcoins based on Bitcoin and Bitcoin is still here. There are several GNU/Linux based on Debian and Debian is still here rocking solid. And we are currently in a period quite volatile, I watched BCC it's just horrible lol. In the following weeks Bitcoin will show its true power and everyone will recognize it as the super power Grin

I vote for Kraken (when it works properly Roll Eyes) The reason is that I usually like simple things straight to the point, without any fancy stuff added to disturb me. If you compare with Bittrex half of your screen is filled with ugly graph, I feel me closed in a box and facing problem to breath
8051  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KRAKEN Problems - Orders not being completed, positions not closing on: August 02, 2017, 02:48:37 PM
Same as you, personally today I am just tired to use this website. I am hardly able to finish what I wanted to do, without facing an issue on the site. I am not going to get my nerve on the site, once I finish I log out and I am done for today. I don't have much patience

8053  Other / Meta / Re: Note to admins, BCC is an alt, why threads about it are in the main forum? on: August 02, 2017, 09:19:03 AM
I agree and so I am also one of the people who will prefer to see all those threads about Bitcoin Cash moved to the Altcoin section where it shall be. Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash are both differents.
Quote
Bcash is an altcoin based on Bitcoin; since it split, it is now 100% independent from Bitcoin other than the carried-over balances.
We need justice!
Otherwise, we can make different threads about others altcoins in this section as well. I am sure that it can confuse the newbies who recenly started to take interest in Bitcoin and are reading the forum

8054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aug 1 summary on: August 01, 2017, 08:39:25 PM
Thanks for this news. I am so happy, today should be considered like a national day. I am super excited.
If someone can tells: when the OP says that there is still a chance that this split could still happen between now and Aug 10. What do you think can be the percentage to see it happen: 10-20-30% chance ?
8055  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which is the best bitcoin virtual debit card? on: July 31, 2017, 06:22:22 PM
I used the virtual card from Advcash during some time. The cost was just $1 it should be the same right now. I use it many times while shopping online and it worked well each time. I couldn't continue to use it as once you reach the $500 limit you need a verification ID which I couldn't provide to them. All those cards are near the same as it is issued by the same company. About the same limits, fees, etc. You're just using a middleman.

MySeriousFaceIsOn: Any idea on when identifying street signs and South American shopfronts will be a thing of the past?

Are you talking about Recaptcha? It's so annoying and very irritating. "Click on the cars" There is not a single car "Click on the street signs" nope you failed, try again "Click the cars" you click all the cars but yet you fail, try again... You sometimes need to pass 4-5 captchas just to be able to log in the website. Maybe they should consider turning the login page in a faucet.  If @MySeriousFaceIsOn can get out of the bed again to take the time t remove it or changing to Solve Media or another</joking>
8057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buying shitcoins dirt cheap and selling when they go up. Risky or no? on: July 31, 2017, 04:16:45 PM
A shitcoin generally stays a shitcoin forever. You can buy some and sell them later once the price is raised but as it's not guaranteed you are still taking a risk, surely bigger than the Notshitcoins. I am not good at trading but I think those shitcoins worth when you are part of a pump an dump group
8058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashing out into traditional banking system on: July 31, 2017, 11:32:32 AM
What about simply paying the taxs then? It's for your own country (considering it is used wisely). It doesn't hurt to be in a legal situation. I never understand people trying to avoid paying their taxs . If your friend is really worried he can simply transfer small amount only. For exemple in my country up to 5000€ you stay under the radar. If he is till afraid he can use a bitcoin debit card.
8059  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which VPS Providers accept btc and are reliable? on: July 31, 2017, 11:17:37 AM
I can recommend you Vultr. I find this provider better than DigitalOcean and cheaper. You can google Vultr Vs Digital Ocean to compare. There are over 15 locations to chose from and they have a more powerful infrastructure.  It is accepting Bitcoin since 2-3 years now. If you search the web you will may find a coupon discount as they often have during the year.

Ok then my mistake sorry. I thought you were talking about the BTC wallet, as you replied to the poster above, who was talking about BTC, but you had not mentioned about ORB wallet. Hope for you it will get resolved as soon as possible :/
