7821  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A-ads is bad on calculating Unique impressions on: September 07, 2017, 01:56:21 PM
A-ads.com is a very interesting ad network. Saying they are bad on calculating your unique impression is simply a misconception about how they work. An unique impression is considered an unique visitor including all the publisher's sites. Let me explain:
What is an unique visitor for you is not an unique visitor for A-ads.com. If one of your visitors visited a website displaying ads from a-ads.com previously then come to your website then it is 1 unique impression for the network.
Unique impression from the whole A-ads.com network... And this is what makes the site very interesting for the advertisers

If you have good traffic you can have a very high CPM rate, but yeah if you use garbage traffic such as bots, autosurf etc, then don't except something good
7822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is best cold storage for bitcoin? on: September 06, 2017, 02:16:40 PM
My opinion is that the best store of bitcoin is the account verified on the exchange. First, you always have the ability to quickly sell their bitcoins, and secondly you can earn by selling and buying coins. Why keep it in the fridge?

Are your serious? Do you live on earth? Millions of times we keep saying to not store your coins in any exchanges, it is not a safe habit in any way. It's maybe one of the less safe places to do it... And you tell to the OP to store his coins on an exchange?Huh I think people will never learn until it happens to them.
7823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Blockchain? on: September 06, 2017, 01:27:28 PM
The blockchain technology will be bigger than the Bitcoin itself. As there are a lot of industries where the blockchain could be implemented Millions of people will use the blockchain without knowing it. From Health care, insurance to real estate, we are still at the very beginning. Even if you can mix with IOT and AI it could be an economic bomb.
7824  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best exchange to sell crypto on? And send it to bank acct? on: September 06, 2017, 12:49:25 PM
No problem. I withdraw to my bank account 1 or 2 times monthly, I can't really say since when because I don't remember very well when I started to use Kraken actively, but since 2016 for sure. So I would say I did over 20 times minimum.
After re reading your first post, I see you were talking about US dollars. In my account panel, I don't see the US dollar as an option to withdraw to a bank account (maybe because I am not US.)
But I searched in their FAQ and found this
7825  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken buy delays on: September 06, 2017, 12:34:11 PM
If you place an order at the current rate you shouldn't have a problem to get your order filled in the same minute. But if the rate is at 4500$ and you place an order to buy at 4400$ your order won't be filled asap, it will only when the rate will be 4400$. To make it simple: will you sell your bitcoin for 4000$ while the rate is at 4500$? Surely not.
7826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Transaction congestion is better ? on: September 06, 2017, 12:27:35 PM
I read this paper saying it's better to have transaction congestion on the Bitcoin network. euh? While the fees help to avoid spams on the network, who is happy to pay a huge transaction fee just because the network is busy

7827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China banned ICO's not Bitcoin idiots! on: September 06, 2017, 12:16:59 PM
The mainstream media is not the only: if you want to get a good laugh Brendan Blumer from EOS and CEO of block.one was saying Bitcoin itself is an ICO. Please don't fall from your chair Cheesy Cheesy
I am not so surprised of the confusion about ICO from the mainstream media. They have to drive traffic to their site what they write doesn't matter much. Most of them don't know anything about crypto and all related. They mainly repeat or do a very little search from another uneducated website. There are very few journalists specialized in Blockchain/Cryptos. All the others are just "I wanna be"
7828  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best exchange to sell crypto on? And send it to bank acct? on: September 05, 2017, 09:24:30 PM
I use Kraken regularly and as for now, I have never got a problem. I always receive the money to my bank in 24 hours max, sometimes less.
There was a period with a lot complaints about the deposits from people and the long verification process, but when it's time to transfer to a bank account you hardly find a complaint with Kraken,
7829  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New bitcoin scam scheme come in to market stay away !!!!! on: September 05, 2017, 09:14:31 PM
There are really some evil people. The worst is people believing it and falling in the trap. There are more sophisticated than this, but I wonder who is to blame, the thieves or the naive people falling in the trap  Undecided
Remember, if it is too good to be true, then it's not true
7830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Can be $5,000 Again? on: September 05, 2017, 07:43:13 PM
I hope Bitcoin will reach the $5000 mark again, hell yes. I have been so much excited to see this, it didn't last very long lol. But after the new about China banning IC, it won't happen immediatly, maybe at the end of the month but it's just a maybe
7831  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Question] Where to buy BTC without phone verification? on: September 05, 2017, 06:24:25 PM
CEX.io and Paymium both sell Bitcoin, and have a Visa/Mastercard option. I don't know about CEX.io if the site asks a phone member or something else, but Paymium doesn't ask anything, as long you don't reach the limit (of 1000$ I think). BitPanda is another site coming to my mind with Visa but as I have never used it, I don't know if you need to give a phone number or something else.
7832  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: WARNING: Poloniex blocking clients from contacting them, SCAM in the making? on: September 05, 2017, 06:17:11 PM
Unfortunately, It will give another reason for the medias to talk badly about Bitcoin to tarnish its image. And some people will learn by the hard way why it is not good to let the coins sleeping on exchanges. I hope you're still able to transfer out your coins, if you can do it asap before it's too late
7833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suddenly, Bitcoin Breaks into UK Housing Market as Down Payment on: September 05, 2017, 05:57:40 PM
This is another proof that there are demands from customers as well businesses to use solutions crypto oriented. And more demands we will see, more solutions will be added because when there is a market, there is at least someone to makes bank on it
7834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The DEATH of Bitcoin Surfaces Again on: September 05, 2017, 05:42:40 PM
This whole topic is so ridiculous I'm amazed that someone had the nuts to start a discussion again. I could understand bitcoin death topics during the great depression, like the one in 2015, but now? The price is up by over $4000 since last year and there are still people who say it's bad, that we are going to lose money on bitcoin. Unbelievable! Grin

People will continue to make a topic like this one even when Bitcoin lost 10$ in the value. Not only this forum but medias/blogs as well, related or not to crypto doesn't matter. As for medias/blogs, this is how they get their traffic, their money. You can expect that the OP was just seeking attention as well
7835  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Newbie Question : Kraken.com send deposit €100 Euro through SEPA credited €78.72 on: September 04, 2017, 08:46:33 PM
It's definitely not normal because according to their fees page[1], It should be free to make SEPA deposits and even If there were some fees, It shouldn't be that high, Its better to contact support or post in their bitcointalk thread[2]

[1] https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/201396777-What-are-the-deposit-fees-
[2] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=290799.0

I thought so,
Still waiting for the explanation from their support ...

thanks
Do you check your side, maybe your bank charge this amount, this is just my assumption , better ask support.

He would have been credited the full amount on Kraken (100€), and his bank account deducted for the operation cost. The bank can not reduce the original amount. If it was the case then 22€ is just outrageous. Comparing to me, I pay 0€ if I do it myself and about 4€ if I ask to banker to do it for me (which I never ask)
7836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Moneyless Society on: September 04, 2017, 08:05:02 PM
Hi,

I wanted to run this by you and see what you say.

What if we scrapped money altogether and just gave everybody what they wanted?

I know it sounds ridiculous, and everybody would just go for 100 cars and 100 fancy houses, but if you think about it, if you could get everything you wanted, all those things wouldn't be as valuable anymore, and it would lose it's "richness" appeal and people would be bored by it after a while and just settle with what they actually needed. Don't we have all the technology and resources to make this happen? It could also mean less crimes would happen then too.

Sidenote: I love the idea of bitcoin so I don't really want to ruin bitcoin, but hey, maybe we could go there with bitcoin somehow... Smiley

If we stopped using money we'd put all of the elites out of business and would be out of their control

Sounds like a good plan

Not really. In the old time, paper money didn't exist. People were just exchanging, sugar for potatoes, tomatoes for clothes, etc. The elite would need to take control of a few industries (if not already) to get the same garbage economy again. You can't cure cancer if you don't go to the root.
7837  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bonpay Plastic/Virtual Bitcoin Card free order on: September 04, 2017, 07:29:11 PM
I've been sing-up at Bonpay, do I need to ID verification for Virtual cards? Is your issuer card MyChoice as all other Bitcoin cards provides? Isn't Mychoice closing account for customers outside of Europe? we need more info regarding your service.

The cards are issued by MyChoice, and it's currently not available for people outside the European zone... They are working on making the cards available outside Europe. If you are located outside Europe, you are added to the waiting list
7838  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin price is currently falling? on: September 04, 2017, 05:16:15 PM
As it is not only Bitcoin but other altcoins as well, there is nothing much to worry about. If it was only Bitcoin ok, let's start clicking the Panic button, but currently, it is not needed. As for now, it is better to wait wisely what's going to happen in the next following days and to see how the market behave.
Again, the recent new about China + BTC-e users who are moving their coins they got back from the platform are making the thing up
7839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin future after China bans ICO and bitcoin to currency exchange, vice versa on: September 04, 2017, 05:00:47 PM
Here we go again with China... Isn't this country that was behind a drama some months ago? Making Bitcoin bad but great again after a new? (which I don't remember). I am confident and in 2 weeks people will forgot already and the crypto market will come back yo what it was. Actually it's shopping time with great discount
7840  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase Fees - - - WOW on: September 04, 2017, 09:54:34 AM
Yep, I agree, especially since if you could lower the fees it will be still sent in a timely manner. If you're looking for a web based wallet only then take a look at Bitwala. The advantages of this wallet is that you can set yourself the fees you agree to pay while sending your transaction. And another point is you get your private key.
