7741  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [EU] reputable t-shirt printing service on: September 25, 2017, 11:41:29 PM
I used vistaprint.fr to buy some t-shirts and mug with crypto stuff. They deliver items worldwide. Tshirts are "fruit of the loom" quality. Can't complain about it. It's not Louis Vuitton quality but it's not Lidl as well. The color and size don't change after washing it.
The only thing is they don't accept Bitcoin
7742  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC purchase with prepaid card ? on: September 25, 2017, 08:32:45 PM
You may try https://bitit.io/ but the thing is that after  25$ you will need to be a verified member by providing ID documents. Another solution is Paymium, it won't ask any document below a $1000 limit. I think with Bitwala, as you can buy Bitcoin theren, you can use a card only (they have a partnership with another company) may be good to try also. Which ones have you tried till now? It's quite hard to deal with cryptos and cards.
7743  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Physical bitcoin debitcard? on: September 25, 2017, 07:42:44 PM
Yes there are many, I don't know much about them because it's not something I personally would use but a quick google search throws out plenty to look in to.

Do you have any rekommendations?

Bitwala, Advcash, Cryptopay, Xapo, Coinbank, Spectrocoin, BitPay, Wirex... If you are a European citizen. All of them provide the same card issued by MyChoice (a Visa intl company) So you will find the fees quite similar.

If you are not from Europe then the only choice you have is Wagecan

Hi,

Thank you very much for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, due to a temporary technical difficulty with USD funding for US residents, we will be unable to address your issue for an undetermined period of time. All other site functions are working as intended. Please let me know if there is any other assistance you need. We will update you as soon as this current issue is resolved.

Warm Regards,

I checked my withdrawal status at https://www.kraken.com/u/funding/withdraw , and it's said "success" for weeks…

Try to reply again because the staff support is making confusion between funding and withdrawal. The reply says they have a technical difficulty with USD funding for US citizens but your problem is about withdrawal. Sometimes they reply in hurry and give an unrelated answer.
Since when the status is showing "success"? Usually it shows "success" after you received the transfer (like the next day)

but in credit card and debit card the transaction can be tracked but in bitcoin it can not be tracked

that was my indirect point...

Come on! The thieves don't use the stolen cards to shop online or to buy cigarettes. They go to the first ATM machine they find and get as much money as they can. How do you trach this money so? Who is damn stupid to steal a card and shop with it.... and why not get delivered at home

There iq no diference if you go out with a card or with a BTC wallet on your smartphone with some bucks into
7746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxless and free society? on: September 24, 2017, 07:13:09 PM
You can not run a country without taxes. Who is going to pay to build hospitals, schools, road, educational program or whatever? The government? But from where the money will come from? Not the sky, can't rely on loans forever. A govt. can't ake full income by trading cryptos.
Taxes are needed to improve and sustain a country
7747  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the week we see the $4500? on: September 24, 2017, 07:01:20 PM
We won't see the value coming back to $4500 before December or 2018. Be happy the price has not gone below 3500$. Add the fact that all those people who used Bitcoin as an investment will start to say here and there how they lose money and how Bitcoin is useless to them. You can also add the fact about the fork soon which will increase the volatility and decrease the value as well. Nothing much good in perspective for the next weeks
7748  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [ASK BITCOINTALK] How many of you would use this service? on: September 24, 2017, 03:49:04 PM
Both are already implemented as you can see in the screenshots. You can even invalidade a post manually if the quality isn't good enought.
BitMixer? The campaign stopped because they closed their services.
Already answered:

The bot will even remove Quoted text from post count length calculations when checking if it meets minimum requirements.

Yes, I saw the different screenshot posted, my point is, it it's still needed to check the panel to filter poor quality post then better to do it from the forum directly. Managers can't read the full dissucussion within the panel. So let say you repeat for the 15th the same thing he won't be able to see it

As I said "they stopped after some days" So no, not Bitmixer, as this campaign was running for months (I know they closed the service btw) It was another I just don't remember the name.

Spammers are more smarts than that and don't use a quote tag to make it looking like an original post. I saw it many times

Yes I understand that some manual parts will remain but it would mean that campaign managers won't be able to justify charging $5-10k for managing a campaign. Especially since we're going to open this service up for free.

Eventually I can hook it into an AI or spam filter for better results but that would cost some money. For now I'll just keep improving the post detection algorithm but as mentioned before, you can invalidate posts manually in two clicks.

For sure $5-10k is not justified at all
7749  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC analysis for this month! on: September 24, 2017, 01:44:53 PM
There are over $1000 missing on the table and it's all that I see  Angry
To make it worse the price will surely go down again in the next two months, step by step, without any FUD needed. I'm not very optimistic about the Bitcoin value for the next two months. I decided to wait after November/December and see how the things will be
7750  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Mistertango - Bitcoin friendly European Bank Account + free MasterCard on: September 24, 2017, 01:21:06 PM
Couple quesions:
1. How can I order your card? "Cardholder name" field is inactive while the system require all fields to be filled.
2. Is it possible to send USD transaction via SWIFT to my Mistertango account? Or maybe it is possible to open USD account?
In Europe, we use SEPA in Euros only, and it's not easy to get an account using another currency than Euro. It is the standard protocol. Most of the banks don't let you receive something else without charging an outrageous fee. To give you an example I think my bank will charge me like $30 if I receive a transfer in USD/SWIFT
7751  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [ASK BITCOINTALK] How many of you would use this service? on: September 24, 2017, 01:02:41 PM
This system can be time-saving for sure but still, need a human action to check what an automated system can't. I was participating in a campaign using a similar system but still needed a human behind.

You can set a length per post to be considered as a valid post, but a bot cannot decide if what the user is posting is good enough.
Can your system exclude quote as well? Because there are some experts here filling their posts with quotes.

I remember a campaign sometimes ago using only an automated system, and I think they suddenly stopped after some days and have never come back. I can guess why
7752  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gunbot vs Leonardo on: September 24, 2017, 12:30:37 PM
Can you show me a link about Leonardo? I searched quickly but didn't find something. I don't know much about Gunbot but if it's limited to Poloniex then I am not so much interested in unless there are other exchanges used in.
7753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the Federal Reserve kill Bitcoin? on: September 24, 2017, 12:07:34 PM
The Federal Reserve really are not concerned about Bitcoin yet. They still see it as too insignificant to be any threat to them. If they ever do become concerned it will be far too late at that stage for them to do anything about it.

Not so much insignificant since the FED sent a warning about digital currencies, not long ago. Some of its arguments were about security and privacy issues (https://www.federalreserve.gov/newsevents/speech/powell20170303a.htm).
If they were not concerned you couldn' see laws, regulations, etc about bitcoin exchanges, ICO etc. They wouldn' not even publish a 39 pages PDF about Bicoin
7754  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buy first BTC with unverified identity by direct debit on: September 24, 2017, 12:41:15 AM
Hi,
I would like to buy my first bitcoins by direct debit, but I'd prefer not to do the verification process, at least initially.
Is there a website that allows that?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Paymium has bank cards has payments option, it doesn't require any ID verification up to $1000
Bitit.io has also no verification (but low amount 25$, you need a verification for more)

Of course when it's time to use a card to buy bitcoin, be ready to pay a higher rate; up to 10%. And if you are ready to be verified you will surely find more competitive rates
7755  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Need help sending money from Luno to bittrex on: September 24, 2017, 12:17:28 AM
Hi

I cant seem to navigate sending money from luno to bittrex. i'll reach the page till bittrex gives me an address to send money however when i am back at luno and enter the address, it says invalid. are there any steps that i am missing? i am very new to cryprocurrency  Sad

Try to copy paste the address without ending with a space, sometimes it can be a problem (with things like passwords etc too)
For example, notice how both addresses below are posted differently

"1rf4Ssrf4fkhDhjgt5rgFGklkjnllhf5yt "
"1rf4Ssrf4fkhDhjgt5rgFGklkjnllhf5yt"

While selecting, sometimes we select a space after the last character
7756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: K.im, Bitcache & Bitcoin on: September 23, 2017, 10:21:05 PM
Downloading files is dead. I mean files containing movies, software, etc.  Streaming movies took over downloads (especially illegals) People now prefer watching a movie in streaming instead to download. Not even talking the fact it is not allowed to download illegal kinds of stuff in some countries, which helped greatly the streaming market
7757  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain Car history verification system on: September 23, 2017, 10:02:28 PM
A project like this already exist, but I don't know if they already started to make something concrete. Worldline created a blockchain for the car market... The cars are included in this open book. Then, each check or repair carried out on the vehicle will be entered in the blockchain.

So no matter from where you buy the car you are still able to know exactly what the car got since its birth

Thank you for your feedback. If i correct understand you, do you mean something simple existing, but with 1 centralized owner?
What do you think, will you trust such system, based on blockchain in case of big data amount inside? And if this data store for a couple of years for different countries?
I don't remember exactly if it was a project finished and sold but for sure it exists. Toyota as well started to develop something like this with M.I.T. since some months

Yes, I will trust such system with no problem but only IF it is added before the car is sold for the first time. I mean it should be implemented at the manufactories level. And if the owners can't add any data themselves. It's easy to fake some things on a car to make it look like the car is new or not so old.

So if someone buys a car then do some things to make the car less old (for example changing the km/miles which can be done within 10 minutes for some money) and then he is able to add the car on the blockchain, it doesn't make the system so powerful.
And while thinking about this, a mechanic guy can easily be corrupted with some money (it is something not hard to find). So if he is able to add data how the system can be trusted.

How to check?
Main idea is to add only data, that can be verified on the previous step. For example distance. Value cannot go to minus, and if owner will make a service, and he want to reduce total distance on the car, system can check with previous value and don't pass new block.

I searched on the web and found this http://worldline.com/en-us/home/inside-worldline/2016/september/when-blockchain-technology-frees-up-car-sharing.html
It was introduced during the "Mobile World Congress" this year around March. Worldline is specialized in electronic payment so not sure why they chose the automotive industry. And the Mobile World Congress is about the mobile industry
7758  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How safe is localbitcoins? on: September 23, 2017, 02:32:16 PM
LocalBitcoin is safe and trusted but the people not so much if I can say. There are a lot of fraud there.

For example selling Bitcoin for Paypal then once sold, the buyer opens a dispute or chargeback with unauthorized account/transaction access. It is something common and that's why the sellers set a rate higher (20%) for Paypal sales. The same with bank transfers, there are a lot of people sending you bank transfer and then contact their bank with all kind of excuse.

7760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Will Accept Bitcoin Speculation on: September 23, 2017, 01:20:55 PM
The news seems to be fake news we have to wait for official announcement because without government interaction it is not possible to accept bitcoin.
That's why people should wait for official announcement from the owner of Amazon.

Why something from a government should be needed for Amazon to accept Bitcoin as a payment method. Do you think retailers ask for govt to be able to accept Paypal, cards etc? Nope. None of the currents merchants accepting Bitcoin asked something to any institution.

Since Amazon is expert about taxes optimizations, to who they should ask permission? USA, Luxembourg, Ireland? U.N.?
