Since Binance mangin inaccessible na sa atin within 3 months, nag opt-in na ako for Stables Wallet as off-ramp option from crypto to fiat.
Ito ang unang beses na narinig ko ang pangalan nila at kahit mukhang maganda yung services nila, malaki pa rin ang chance na it'd suffer the same fate as Binance dahil sa mga missing licenses [unfortunately].

@jstefanop The noise level for the ECO mode [less than 40 dba] is good for home miners, but I'm curious to know what the noise levels are on the TURBO mode [especially for using custom settings to get it up to 11 TH/s].

Bitkey wallet has now officially opened for pre-order with the price of $150 plus shipping and taxes.
Even if none of its cons existed, I would've still said it's way too overpriced. and Bitcoin is not accepted as payment option This part surprises me the most... A few months back, they partnered with Coinbase and integrated their services into their app, but for some reason, they're not using Coinbase Commerce on their website [quite weird]!

what if I restore with the "ledger" seed, then add a passphrase and finally move them? (this last part is also unclear in my mind ) If I understand correctly, you already have funds in your normal wallet so if you were to add a passphrase to your used seed phrase, it'd just lead to an empty passphrase-protected wallet! - This should be done when you're setting up your wallet for the first time, but only do it if you "fully" understand everything about it.

Umabot ng 200+ sats/byte sakin using Trust wallet to coins.ph.

Despite the new Ocean pool’s refusal to mine inscriptions, a significant portion of the hashrate is actively confirming such transactions. ~Snipped~ indicated that 68.11% of the day’s transfers were inscriptions,

I hope they add LN payments for that,
In addition to that, supporting payments with other alternative cryptocurrencies that have lower average TX fees will also come in handy. I also doubt anyone that knows ViaBTC free accelerator will want to use any paid accelerator.
You have a point, but if the volume of their transaction exceeds ViaBTC's limit for their free accelerator, they have no choice but to use a paid accelerator.

I haven't been here in years and the software still isn't running? Lol. Admins fumbled the bag here big time.
Web server is down Error code 521
Epochtalk is running [just not on the beta subdomain]: Coinbistro.com - Epochtalk testing grounds- Having said that, seeing it having little to no activities in recent months makes me believe it'd suffer the same fate as the beta subdomain (unfortunately).

The issue is, there's currently no user here in Bitcointalk that reported their experience with mempool.space's accelerator. It would be great to have some legitimate feedbacks.
AFAIK, their accelerator isn't fully open to the public yet [the feature in question is there, but as soon as you create and verify your account, they'll put you on a waitlist (almost one week and counting...) and that means you can't even top up your account (unfortunately)].

I am talking about a case for the nano ledger s plus for protection.
Yes, I do know that but what kind of protection [e.g. protection against fire, water, and drop up to a certain degree or something that'd protect it against scratches when you throw it in a drawer or a backpack]? Half the time, Jerry's comments confuse me but regarding the above product, I'd only use it if I'm going to store it in a drawer [and "Nano Pod" for traveling with a backpack]. But what else you need to spend on besides the 3d printer? Ink... but what else?
There's no ink in 3D printers [it uses filaments (most common), resin, powder, etc...]. For the latter part, refer to this: Essential tools for every 3D printing professional

@wikisell Just noticed one of the refurbished ones [iPad 7th gen] has higher internal storage ["256 GB"] than the original versions [32/128 GB] but AFAIK, apple doesn't change such things!
After Some Research if the store is legit or not
Would you mind showing the result [I looked in a lot of places, but had no luck in finding anything]?

This is something interesting. Thank you, SFR10, for mentioning this.
You're very welcome SFR10, I believe this needs a topic in the Beginner and help section. This could a nice guide.
@wwzsocki has already made a thread back in 2019 [there might be others as well]: Punycode and how to protect yourself from Homograph Phishing attacks?- If you can provide additional stuff, go ahead
BTW, I think I've found one of their backups, but not sure if you need to include it in the opening post or not [it appears to be incomplete]: exotic420shop.com [Creation Date: 2023-05-04]

are there people that has issues with it such as the screen dim or it doesn't turn on?
But does the nano ledger s plus have any screen issues? Have there been any reports of this? I haven't read any but curious if there has been any?
Despite Ledger using a different display for the Plus version [AFAICR (CMIIW)], there are still some issues with it [they're just on a smaller scale]: - Regarding the defective ones, they show issues that you might encounter in the future!

Okay so earphone cases are not that good because it can't stand the pressure. But would it protect the nano ledger s plus though?
It depends on what kind of protection is needed for the device in question [you might want to mention that first]. Like okay so this person and this person's address ordered a nano ledger s plus from amazon or a nano ledger s plus case from amazon so that means they most likely own crypto and possibly a lot. So wouldn't this bother people?
If I were to guess, I'd say not as much as they should be [unfortunately]. For your case, as long as you don't purchase one of those earphone-style cases that were made specifically for hardware wallets, you'll be fine.
|
|
|
Or buy an earphone case or some small case and use that for the nano ledger s plus?
This is probably the best route, but most of the small earphone cases I've seen can't withstand most external pressures, so if such things matter to you, I'd go with 3D printing the case instead [you can easily find STL file cases online (e.g. BYZANTINE holder) and if you don't have access to a 3D printer, you can modify the file to leave no traces of its intended purpose then simply send the file to a shop that'd handle the printing part for you].

Thank you very much, SFR10. ~Snipped~ Thanks again for finding the scam websites. I added them all in the OP and gave you the credit.
You're very welcome and thank you as well for updating the thread [you didn't have to give me the credit, but I appreciate it ]. @JeromeTash also mentioned one of their fake websites in post #3.The riskiest domain is the last one with an extra s. This is the only difference between the real and original domains. Most of the people do not notice such things. The design of the website is similar as well. So, it won't be an easy job for an average person to find the difference.
I completely agree but unfortunately, these scammers can still go a step further than that by applying Punycode/homograph attacks on ICERIVER [that'd be the tricky part].

Thank you for the advice, I just registered to know how it works, It seems a bit slower than watch-only wallet, and Explorer when the transaction comes. when it is confirmed, blockonomics didn't show my balance on the dashboard (still 0) even has 1 confirmed on Explorer. But, so far so good, I received a notification on email when btc was received after a few minutes.
You're very welcome You're right... Back in the day, it was better [occasionally, my dashboard glitches out and it doesn't even load completely]. BTW, last week @bitmover also added these features to his/her "Address Balance Checker" tool, so you no longer need to attach an email for such things.
