2402  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: October 21, 2016, 10:15:47 PM
I actually dont hate Muslims because I have quite a number of them who are my friends and have proven to be great guys although there are some who hide under the religion to behave in an irrational way thereby making all Muslims look bad. I think its basically about individual and have nothing to do about the religion but over here some set of people of a particular place will just behave in one out of this world way then cause the religion to be drag to the mud. Above all, they are good people and I am proud to have them as friends...
Yes it is wrong to hate someone just because he choose to follow a particular religion. If someone is bad,we should abhor his bad deeds not him.I am glad to see the poll results
2403  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can I open up a local shop and sell bitcoins for cash? on: October 21, 2016, 10:08:59 PM
I'm wondering if I can open up a local shop and sell bitcoins for cash without paperwork or signing anything. Sure a bitcoin ATM can fulfill that role but as a shop I could do other things such as sell bitcoin merch etc, offer information on bitcoin and cryptos etc, but primarily I'm wondering if I can sell bitcoin for cash without hassling customers with paperwork. I suppose the laws would be the same for an ATM machine? which I haven't heard to be of a legal problem. I'd be considering doing this in Texas, USA, by the way. Any references or shared knowledge would be great, and I'm less interested in speculation. Thanks!
I dont think anyone would be interested to go to your shop to buy bitcoin when he/she can buy it online much easily and quickly.Bitcoin is not a physical commodity which people should examine before buying so going to shop to buy it is useless
2404  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: October 21, 2016, 10:54:42 AM
Investing your bitcoins is the best thing ytou can do with the bitcoin because lots of people are not investing the bitcoin and that cotst them allot of

Yes investment seems to be the only sensible option as many new investment oportunities are coming up these days anf one should do proper research and invest in one of them

2409  Economy / Services / Re: Twitter Promotion: Earn up to 250 bits for a single retweet [50 spots available] on: October 18, 2016, 10:42:13 PM
Your payout is very low.If possible.raise payment.

Thanks for your feedback! We will have more comprehensive promotions in the near future that will involve higher-paying rewards across more social media platforms. For now, our focus is to gain more Twitter followers; hence, the average payouts for a single retweet.

Hi, maybe you could also pay a little bonus for people who actually follow you as well as re-tweet your tweet.
This is a good suggestion and will boost your twitter account followers
2410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: October 18, 2016, 10:39:10 PM
We can not estimate who are users uses bitcoin more we do not have data on that and the users is came from different countries, and guys where you get your data about on your statement what is your basis?

Exactly we cannot calculate the exact number of users using bitcoin as its impossible to do, the only thing we can know is that users who are part of this forum are using bitcoins apart from that we cannot judge who are using it.
We can also check crypto exchanges and online wallrt for they have more accurate data. This forum has multiple accounts  for every member so we cannot know the exact number here
2411  Economy / Economics / Re: Megaupload 2.0 & Bitcache - Anyone investing? on: October 17, 2016, 09:43:24 PM

2413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why dump traditional payment options for Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2016, 09:18:29 PM
I had a interesting discussion with a bunch of students from a 1st world country over the weekend. They made some good arguments,

which needs to be addressed. Political views aside, what would motivate people to use Bitcoin in a country where there are loads of

other payment methods to chose from?

Some reasons I gave them was :

~ Danger of centralization and all the evils associated with that.
~ It's cheaper
~ It's faster {should be under normal circumstances}
~ It's FREE to use by everyone {no permission needed}
~ It's global

What other reasons will you add to this, to convince someone to dump their current payment methods?
I dont thing all other payment methods should be dumped for bitcoin.I think they can work along with bitcoin all they need to do is shift on blockchain
2414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: October 17, 2016, 11:04:51 AM

2415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: October 17, 2016, 10:50:25 AM
I see most newbs are just impatient.

They need to do a lot of reading and research before they get into these coins.

They buy any coin and expect it to be the next bitcoin.
Yes.Though the ICONOMI has huge potential it will take it time to reach $1 peer coin and I think it is good for if price gets too high quickly after launch, dumping will start resulting in price fall
2416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where should i invest my 285$ on: October 16, 2016, 10:53:35 PM
I would like to invest 0.45 BTC in ETH but i don't know if it is the best investment.
I want a good investment for 1-2 years.
Dont put all your money in just one single coin.Instead invest 0.1 btc in 4 or 5 different coins and ICO
2417  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: October 16, 2016, 10:41:26 PM
It seems there are bad news all around with doom and gloom. Trade figures going down, jobs cuts, security situation not going well, and bad loans.

Is the economy situation in your country that dismal? Or this is just some fear mongering?

Luckily it is better in my country.Unemployment and inflation both are in control and there is no serious economic crisis.GDP is still growing
2418  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: October 16, 2016, 10:30:52 PM
I do not want to speak to soon because when we were still in 2015 people were also saying that 2016 was going to be the year of the Bitcoin and that was not true.
I am just going to wait when we reach 2017 and see for my self what that year is going to bring us.

Because that's what we were always saying. Even if we go back a few years, we were always saying that next year will be year of bitcoin.
Just why don't we celebrate every year as year of bitcoin then?

Actually they didn't even realize it. They keep on telling that next year is a good year when the fact that it is shows in the charts. From a $300 dollar price to this. Every year of bitcoin is always good we just keep track on the downside that is why we dont see it.
With every new year bitcoin is growing stronger.2017 may not be the bitcoin year but it will surly bring more joy and good news to bitcoin community
2419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Ask The Doctor" Adds Bitcoin to Payment Options on: October 16, 2016, 10:23:03 PM
Ask The Doctor, a Canadian medical startup has officially announced that they are now accepting Bitcoin on their platform to pay for their services through BitPay. The main reason for this is to increase customer privacy using Bitcoin’s anonymity benefits that credit cards cannot offer.

Here is the source : https://cointelegraph.com/news/online-platform-ask-the-doctor-adds-bitcoin-to-payment-options-to-protect-privacy

It's being sometime since I last read about a new service accepting Bitcoin (probably since Steam started accepting it) , glad to know that there is more services that still does that and hopefully more to come !
This indeed is a very good news and something that makes bitcoin community happy. With more and more services accepting bitcoin payment,it is definitely going to replace many existing payment methods and there is no stopping from bitcoin becoming mainstream
