2761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 49 days till the halving, time is flying now on: May 23, 2016, 11:46:21 AM
I don't expect we will see huge price increase right after halving will hit us. It won't be sudden price spike and 100% increase as many people believe it to be.
Market will react slowly and will correct itself slowly, it will take couple months or maybe even more for us too see real impact of halving.
You may be right but if a goo d hype is created in media about bitcoin just few days before halving,it can push up prices to new high
2762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Irish Newspaper cartoon: 'That's no use, he wants it in Bitcoin.' on: May 23, 2016, 11:25:12 AM

yup,its a smart and modern kid,he dont want to bring much money on his pocket or wallet, its weight and complicate to carry on,and bitcoin better than cash money in this aspect, easy to carry and simple to save.
But he still has to carry his mobile/laptop to access his bitcoins.Unless it is a huge amount, carrying currency would be easier for a kid
2763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, why do we need to use Bitcoin? on: May 23, 2016, 10:34:18 AM
You can pay instantly even on weekends, when you cant with wire transfer, because banks dont operate.
Thats true. Some times due to holidays I get my funds delayed for 4-5 days. Its very frustrating when you need money badly.Bitcoin is instant and that makes it super cool

Payment received.Thanks
2765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A teen is given $1K to invest into Bitcoin - what would you recommend for them? on: May 23, 2016, 10:14:25 AM
Let's say a young teenager is given some coming-of-age money from their family, and is interested in growing that money through Bitcoin. Without encouraging him/her to invest in risky strategies, what are some lower risk methods of growing a Bitcoin portfolio with a hypothetical gift of $1K?
The best investment Imo is buy the coins, keep them in some safest wallet, hold it for atleast five years. If everything goes well you can get as much as 10-20 times more from your coins
2766  Economy / Digital goods / Re: x-tk.com short domain on: May 23, 2016, 10:11:02 AM
price?
$5
2767  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: May 20, 2016, 11:50:20 AM
Do whatever you are doing, but be aware of scam websites that will flew away with your hard earned money. mainly Cloud mining, Doublers. You can try gambling or trading to double money if you are good at it.
yeah you better do a trade or gambling than you doubled your bitcoin on investment sites that are unclear or ponzi investment sites? precisely the risk of loss will be greater at that site. because before you get ROI from your investment earning
Im sure The site will go into a scam
Gambling also involves high risk as you can lose all your money.Trading is better than any other options
2768  Economy / Services / Re: Earn With Tasks | Earn FREE Bitcoins by doing simple tasks online! on: May 20, 2016, 11:05:54 AM
task price is 100 Satoshi its really waste of time.you will not get any people who will want to do your task with that price.100 Satoshi has no value.transaction fees much more than this.lol Smiley
raise the amount you will get more people.
How many activities available per day per member?
2769  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: May 20, 2016, 11:01:16 AM
10 bitcoins is a pretty nice amount and I would like other people just hold the bitcoins till the price has been raised to a higher amount so I can make profit.

You should also give a chance to grow it, and if you can successfully do it then you will able to earn much higher profits in future.
Yes but be careful while investing your coins. There is an equal chance of losing in all investment. When you already have 10 coins, let them lay idle in your wallet and when price is good, sell them
2770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Received a random Dropbox share with a bitcoin.js file on: May 20, 2016, 10:53:31 AM
Today I randomly got a dropbox share from someone named Matthew Jones that contained a bitcoin.js file. Anyone know what sort of scam is going on here? the file doesn't show anything clear. Thanks for any help.

Be careful. Examine the motivation behind this action: would you send someone a "random ass money" with no instructions? More likely this is malicious code, designed to rob you of your value.

If you are curious (and remember what curiousity did to our favorite feline), open the file in a virtual machine for further investigation.

Better you delete it.You definitely dont know the sender and his intentions,so why take risk or waste time on investigating what it contains.Even if it has coins, you dont own them so deleting wont make you lose anything
2771  Other / Off-topic / Re: I spent all my saving on bitcoin, now i am broke on: May 20, 2016, 10:12:35 AM
better hope that none of the users here live near your house and recognize the fountain. you basically just announced where you hid your private keys to everyone.
Cheesy:D thats crazy, he really put picture of fountain to anyone recognize it and dug at night Cheesy
Topic author, shame on you, you should think before posting.

this topic is an invitation not a question Smiley
OP is just drawing a treasure map for others to go on a treasure hund and find the buried bitcoin treasure and enjoy they reward!
I hope he has changed the location after reading all these posts. It is pity that people still haven't learnt how to keep their coins safely
2772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO USE BITCOIN on: May 20, 2016, 10:02:49 AM
I don't quite catch the humor. If you are using the App for the first time, even if you make such mistake your friend will let you know. Besides, you shoulnd't have much coins in the wallet to lose.

If your friend or sender knows the difference,he will most probably tell you you rectify the mistake but what if you are the sender?
2773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can more transaction reduce halving time? on: May 19, 2016, 11:48:17 PM
Is more bitcoin transactions mean more block creation?
No.
Then how each transaction is recorded in blockchain? How much transaction can a block accommodate?
2774  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk run by jews? on: May 19, 2016, 11:45:12 PM
Even if it is run or own by jews, what difference is it going to make? religion is a personal choice and everyone has a right to choose one's religion.Op doesn't makes any sense
2775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Can more transaction reduce halving time? on: May 19, 2016, 11:29:23 PM
The next bitcoin halving is on 11 Jul 2016
03:05:22, If volume of bitcoin transaction suddenly increases, will it bring halving much before 11 Jul 2016?Is more bitcoin transactions mean more block creation?
2776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: May 19, 2016, 11:03:19 PM
from looks of thing seem like it will go higher then 800 it will occur after halving in upcoming month will it hold long enough seem to be true like most of you expect and that we will see new high this year
lets see if this is coming to this year
Based on what you claim that we go to $800 and beyond?
Thin air and halving hype is definitely not enough. So what are the reasons for such significant spike?
Halving will definitely push up prices because media is going to give more attention to bitcoin during halving period. This media coverage will arouse interest in bitcoin by many new people thus raising bitcoin demand
2777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal or BTC on: May 19, 2016, 10:28:13 PM
you speak in bitcoin forum, it is clear many are choosing bitcoin than paypal
Can I choose both.I have been using PayPal for last six years and haven't faced any problem yet.I am also ok with bitcoin but the problem is bitcoin is not widely accepted
2778  Other / Meta / Re: Are you happy with the Bitcointalk administration/moderation? on: May 19, 2016, 10:01:56 PM
Ok, this might be a little controversial [it shouldnt! we're all in the same boat]. I thought about running a simple poll to ask about user satisfaction here

I for one am quite happy with the board and the admins/mods.  I can say YES I am happy with the site.

I'm more often than not not so happy with the userbase but that's another story hehe
I haven't seen any forum where users are given so much freedom and liberty. In almost all forums on internet, admins and staff behave like dictators who can ban you at their will irrespective of forum rules.Bitcointalk is certainly an exception.I feel more freedom here
2779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK Banks Refused 6 Million Citizens Accounts, Bitcoin Doesn’t Refuse Anyone on: May 19, 2016, 09:51:06 PM
That's a gap in the market for Bitcoin to take advantage of. With the Bitcoin ATM infrastructure rolling out across the UK and elsewhere low income people can store their money in Bitcoins, and withdraw it as fiat through an ATM. There are Bitcoin debit cards rolling out too which will assist Bitcoin in taking the place of bank accounts.
People usually keep their savings in bank to earn interest on it.Keeping it in bitcoin would not serve any purpose as most middle class families need to withdraw for their everyday needs
2780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: May I vent? WTF economics on: May 19, 2016, 09:47:23 PM
Obviously China and Russia are interested in it
I'm sorry what? Where did you get this idea from?
As far as what I know, Russia has banned the use of bitcoin in their country. Or has this been lifted already?
By Russia,he obviously meant Russian people not government.Banning Bitcoin do not end interest in bitcoin
