AMS has always suffered from not having much volume since the Yobit wallet went offline as most people used to trade AMS on there. I'm hoping that we will be fine and that Coinexchange doesn't delist AMS. Solaris new code base should be ready in September and if all goes well hopefully Kees will then be able to start work on the AMS code base not long after and maybe we can start 2020 with a bang! A new code base with more features to work with for the future, this is why I'm holding and that Kees has always been a great dev. |

I feel that Medvedev (who already became "black cat " for Djokovic) and Thiem will soon replace "Big 3" and become new champions.
Djokovic, Nadal and Federer are to long on the top and people wants to see new players on the top.
They are still young and need more experience and stability but they will come on the top eventually, in a few years.
I do hope that Medvedev will continue his strong showings, specially on a bigger stage. We have seen lots of potential players to really challenge the "Big 3", but all of them came short when they are in a Grand Slam that's why the Djokovic, Nadal and Federer continues to dominate the tennis world even at their age. If Medvedev goes on to win the US Open, then I would say yes, so it will be very interesting to see how he will do in this year US Open. Do I really wanted to see new players coming up? Definitely, but they need to prove it by winning the big tournaments in tennis. I totally agree as we have been talking about this on here for over a year now. Every time we think that one of the up and coming young talent is going to win a Grand Slam they don't because of the pressure from the top 3. I also think a lot of it is to do with being nervous playing Nadal, Djokovic and Federer in big matches like Grand Slam finals and that is why we always see the young talent lose as that is when the top 3 bring their A game where as the lead up tournaments I don't think they worry about so that is why we always see the up and coming guys beat the top 3. Lets hope we start to see a change in the US Open, we are yet to see Nadal in action so he will be fresh and ready to go for the US Open. Exactly, we have sounded like a broken record here for years. Those young players need to really step up the plate against the big 3 otherwise they will continue to dominate this game and show their experience. Medvedev is already on the stage wherein he had matured already and have the capability to face the top 3 in the biggest show, the US Open. I think the qualifiers has started, and the top seeds are: 1. Djokovic 2. Nadal 3. Federer 4. Thiem 5. Medvedev Yeah we have my friend, I was looking back in this thread and I can't believe how fast time goes by as it has been a couple of years now since we started talking about the young talent. At the time it was players like Kyrgios, Thiem and Zverev who should all be challenging for Grand Slams and even winning but we are yet to see this. Medvedev has stepped up recently and looks to be the best chance for the up and coming guys as even though Thiem is ranked 4th seed I don't think he is all that good on hard courts just yet and is more suited to clay so I don't like he's chances in the US Open. |

This question is addressed to techies: Is it possible for the new Solaris wallet to be set up with offline staking and still have a strong network effect for the coin? What does the Solaris network gain from requiring that staking wallets have to be online 24 hours a day? Is the online 24/7 requirement necessary for a strong network or not? Where can I find an answer to this question? If the wallet is set up for offline staking, then hundreds more people will be interested in the benefits of using the wallet for staking purposes and attachment of wallet to txbit dot io exchange.
There are quite a few staking wallets for other alt coins that are set up with the offline staking feature, why not the new Solaris wallet also? How are the networks of those other alt coins with offline staking wallets suffering?
Thanks for your help with this. I really appreciate the developers of Solaris and want what is absolutely best for the network of Solaris at least enough for it to thrive......

There is no such thing as full on off-line staking. A computer (full node) needs to process and add blocks to the blockchain. No computers on the network means blockchain is dead. What the new Solaris wallet will have is Cold-Staking. This means that you can stake your coins on an outside server like a VPS, or a service that provides cold staking for Solaris, while keeping your coins safely in a local wallet. You can also turn this wallet off and your coins will keep getting staked. I suspect that these coins you are talking about have the same thing in the form of cold-staking. So its basically like running a masternode on a VPS but instead it will be staking. As there will be no more masternodes for Solaris I am accumulating more when I can to help build up my staking weight ready for when Solaris goes 100% PoS and also so I can earn more from txbit when the time comes for linking up Solaris to txbit for staking. |

England have won the toss and elected to bowl first which is an interesting decision. There is a rain delay which was forecast for the morning session which is most likely why Root decided to bowl first however if Australia can get through the first few hours it could become a good batting pitch as it looked a little dry and good to bat on. Hopefully we see some play soon and not get washed out like we saw on day 1 in the last test match. The English summer has been strange this year with a lot of rain which played a factor in the World Cup and now in the Ashes.

Khwaja and Warner are both brilliant in tests and I am hoping that they could be a backbone for Aussies in 3rd test for a change.
It is time for Warner and Usman to perform in this series and pose a challenging total for England and for England it is the best opportunity to win the test match and level the series and if they are not able to do that then Australia will walk away with the Ashes with ease. Both teams have quality bowlers but Australia will have the upper hand if the pitch starts turning as they have Lyon who is a legit spinner . I agree Warner needs to perform in this test match because he's spot in the team is on the line. Khwaja in the past has shown that he can make a lot of runs after having a dry spell so this is the test match for him to bounce back and make the runs that Australia will need. Australia will be depending a lot on their bowlers if the batsman can't score big totals for England to chase. |

I also still believe in AMS and Kees and will continue to hold and support this project for the long term. I think that Kees will see how the new code for Solaris works out and if all is good then we should expect the same to happen with AMS so we need to be patient for a while longer.

Medvedev has had a fantastic tournament and deserved the win against Djokovic as it looked like Djokovic would run away with the match and win but to Medvedev's credit he fought back strong and won it in three sets.
The final between Medvedev and Goffin was good to watch, Goffin always seems to finish second in these tournaments as Medvedev won it in straight sets and looks to be a real danger for the top 3 in the US Open. Congrats to Medvedev on the win!
Wasn't able to watch the match, but with the way Medvedev he recover and won against Djokovic I have no doubt that he can win the tournament against Goffin, no disrespect to him, but it looks like Medvedev is the potential heir and will be the next batch of champions at we all know that the big three is already again. And with this win, he will be in the top 5, and would also be one of the favorites coming the US Open. Hope he can sustain this run and see other players rising to the occasion and challenge Djokovic, Federer and Nadal for the top spot. Medvedev has so far had a good month reaching three straight finals at the Citi Open and back to back ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, the Coupe Rogers and Western and Southern Open so he is in top form heading into the US Open and is someone who can really give Djokovic, Nadal and Federer a challenge and maybe even win it all. I am thinking about putting some money on Medvedev but I'll see just before the tournament starts as there could be more value elsewhere. |

Steve Smith being ruled out of the third test match is a huge blow for the Australian team but I think it is the right decision as he needs to rest and hopefully be right for the fourth test. Labuschagne will come into the team which is a good replacement for Smith but I think England will win the match and square up the series.

This was really interesting week as we have some good and interesting games but sadly both Manchester's losing points is going to be very bad for them as we have some very tough games in near future and Liverpool is on target if they able to create some distance this is going to be very good for them and for the claim of title. Yes it was an interesting week as both Manchester clubs dropping points however the opponents they were playing are good teams while Liverpool haven't played a top team as of yet so it will be interesting to see how they fair against some good opposition. Wolves are a good team at home and will be hard to beat all year at home as they showed this last season so I thought Man Utd would find it tough to get the win but then again Man Utd should of won if Pogba didn't miss the penalty. |

Well how many innings? A team like Australia have unlimited options. Indeed Warner needs to come back very soon or he is very close to lose his position. I hope Smith will be fit to play the third test if not then we will see a disaster from Australian team. I agree. IMO, if Warner doesn't perform in the next test match of the series, he'll be out. Medvedev vs Djokovic in the semis. Medvedev defeated Rublev 6-2,6-3, and judging by the score, it looks like it was a easy match for him. So it will be a thriller, we will see if he will stop Djokovic as he is also playing good and high level tennis. Djokovic won against Poullie to set up the match. Yep I am over Kyrgios, that is why I didn't mention it here because like we have been saying he can never control himself after winning a tournament. I just don't understand why he can't continue on with it after winning a tournament. Anyway enough said about him for now as he needs to learn to control himself a lot more and not let things get to him but not sure if he ever will.
He should never play professional tennis with that kind of attitude. I don't think that there will be a chance for him to change his mentality or behaviour inside the tennis court. I'm watching the Djokovic and Medvedev match now and Djokovic is looking the goods right now after taking the first set 6-3 and currently in the second set it is 1-1 so hopefully Medvedev can fight back and push Djokovic to three sets. Yes he was push to 3 sets, unfortunately it was Medvedev who won the match, 6-3, 3-6, 3-6, everyone thought that Medvedev is out, but he manage to have his second wind in the second and third set. Good call though, as you have been saying that Medvedev is really playing good tennis this week and could be the one to emerge as the most likely have the potential to be in top after the veterans retire. He will now play Goffin for the finals, Medvedev need to be aggressive in the beginning and not give Goffin a chance to have a momentum if he wanted to win the tournament. Chelsea are in bad shape at the moment and they may find it hard to get out of this bad form which they are currently in. The Super Cup loss to Liverpool hurt them and its showing in this recent performance against Leicester which they should of beat at home. Hopefully they can turn this poor form around as they will need to quickly before they get left behind.

England have fought back well in the second test match as it looked like Australia would take a lead in the match but thanks to some great bowling by Broad and Woakes England are back in the match. I think if they get a lead of 180 runs that should be enough and if England really want to win the match they should try and get to that lead and put Australia in to bat and see what happens. We can still see a result in this match but it all depends on what England do and if they want to try and go for the win or just take their time and play for a draw.

This is good to see that the team ain't rushing the new release, its always best to take time to get everything sorted before releasing the new code base. I think an extra month to wait is fine and that everyone in the Solaris community will understand that these things take time to complete. So far I'm really liking the look of the new wallet and block explorer and that you guys stuck with the txbit theme. Its going to be an exciting end of 2019 for Solaris with all these changes coming.

Sinovate is growing very fast as I'm seeing a lot more people joining the Discord server and more tweets are showing up on Twitter which is great to see. I think that I made the right decision buying SIN when I did as its now starting to grow big and may even be a top 100 coin in the near future.
