1121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coins Rally After covid what will be%? on: April 07, 2020, 11:30:38 PM
We don't know when the coronavirus will end. That will be a mystery with the crypto market to knowing how much percentage that each coin will reach at the end of 2020. We still fight the virus, and many people are still dying at the hospital, and they fight for their health. Maybe the coronavirus will end before the end of 2020, or maybe in the next year, we don't know. If you already have the coin you mention, better you hold or trade as many times as you can so you will have a chance to make money from that coin. And you don't have to wait when the crypto market will rise because you are ready for the coming of the bull run.
Still many people are trying to survive with this virus to those rich people who have good knowledge with crypto will proceed and divert their money into crypto while those who are small holders will sell and dumped their coins in order to survive this crisis.
Money is more important right now so the possibilities of getting the right value of any crypto still unclear.

Well as they say cash is king when there is a crisis like we have now. However I do see the crypto market picking up in the near future as the world economies start to fall and people look for other places to invest their money but right now the focus is on holding cash as its a means to live during this crisis. So to answer the question, will there be a rally after this virus, I think yes we will because once we come out of this the world economy is going to be in a big hole and like I said, people will look to invest their money elsewhere and I think that will be crypto.

Well I bitcoins will be one of the solution unto them but I think only few will do it since provably many people will  buy cheap market stocks since this is more quite reliable good since the economy will surely progressing and a huge possibilities that they can earn huge when economy will be back on strong phase.

That is true that most will buy cheap stocks as that's the mind set of the people however I do think that the markets will take a long time to recover and as the crypto markets are emerging markets it could be the best option to invest money.

Does anyone here use BTCPop to stake their DMD? I don't own a lot of DMD and was thinking about sending them to BTCPop to stake as I'm earning 1 stake every 2 weeks so I was thinking that being in a staking pool would be better and stake a little more then I am now solo staking.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: April 07, 2020, 12:30:22 AM
I'd say that sports gambling really is like daytrading. With sports gambling you can read statistics, news and other stuff and choose a winning bet. But "normal" gambling (as in casino) is definitely not like daytrading. In daytrading you can still have support&resistance and bunch of other indicators that can help you to decide should you buy or sell. And what can tell you if you're gonna guess a number in roulette or 21 in blackjack?

I totally agree with you on that sports betting is like day trading. I actually have been using sports betting to increase my Ethereum stack the past 6 months and it has been working out great until almost all sports have shut down due to the corona virus. I have been very successful betting on sports games in live play which is very much like day trading as we can check the stats and see how a team is performing during the game before placing a bet so I have found this very similar to day trading.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: April 07, 2020, 12:24:48 AM
I have always kept a record of my gambling when it comes to sports betting as I like to track if I'm making a profit each year or a losing year. My strategy is when I have a losing week or I see more then two days in a row where I've had losing days, I take a break and come back in 3-5 days time and I have found that this helps me out a lot. Its always good to take a break after a bad couple of days as for me it stops me from betting more to make up losses which so many do and end up losing more so I suggest people take breaks when they have a losing patch, it can help a lot so keeping a record can help track losing days.

1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 07, 2020, 12:12:18 AM
Did anyone see the news about Federer practising in the snow hitting the ball against the wall. At least he is back practising which is a good sign but like we have been saying its not the same as match fitness but that goes for all the players right now.
You should have post the link here mate.

Here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvmIy2T8meU. You can simply search it in Google.

@vella85 - As I have said, athletes have learn to adapt at the current situation. As you can see in the video, specially in the last seconds, you can clearly see him somewhat wanted to smash a winner, LOL. I think he is very eager to get in the game now, because even in snow he can still pull that trick shot.

@tyKiwanuka - Medvedev had good break out year in 2019, but sadly though, in the first half of the year, or least prior to the suspension because of the Covid-19, he has somewhat playing flat at up that point.

That is true mate, players will adapt to the situation that they are given however I still think that match fitness might effect some players once tennis is back up and running again. We now know that Wimbledon will be cancelled and the French Open but there is still hope for the US Open which is played in September and maybe they could even push it back a month if things haven't got better by then. Like I have said, the main concern I have is the money side as the economy will most likely be in bad shape once we come out of this and maybe there won't be much funding to host sporting events. I hope it doesn't come to this but it could happen.

I do hope that we can really see at least one Grand Slam for this year. But I wouldn't be surprised if US Open will also be cancelled in September unless everything has cleared by that time. I do agree that the economy of sports will be in bad shape by that time specially if we didn't see any tournament for this year. Maybe we can see some cut from major prizes next year just to be able to compensate what we have lost due to the pandemic this 2020. And I think everyone will understand, we need to start somewhere else.

Yeah hopefully we do as the US are now expecting this week as the peak of the virus so hopefully then the cases start to decrease and then maybe we could see the US Open being played even if it is delayed by a month or two. I did see some reports that some sports might play in China as the virus has been on the decline however I can't see this happening as I think China and a lot of other people believe they have lied about their cases. Time will tell if we see any tennis this year.

Very nice!

Its good to see Bean Cash get some exposure and finding new ways to help gain awareness to the project. We are in tough times right now even for crypto projects but hopefully once we come out of this Bean Cash will start to gain more exposure which it deserves as its been one of the longest standing PoS projects in crypto as not many from back when Bean Cash started are still around today.

Als always positive @vella
Let's see.

Well we got to try and remain positive as it can help get us all through these tough times.

Bean Cash has been one of my best PoS coins since I got in a couple years ago now and I have always remained positive no matter what happens with this project.

I'm glad I am not the only one, I have owned beancash since late 2016 and still one of my favorite coins, I just love the whole thing and hate that it's so underappreciated by many people.
One day the price will go up again, and I love that the active community surrounding the coin actually supports it and isn't just in it for pure profits. This project will remain my favorite POS coin of all time and that'll never change.

There is still a lot of us old members out there, most just choose to not be active in here. Yeah I'm not sure why more people ain't sprouting this coin as it has been one of the best PoS coins in crypto and even though the price has come down at least we still have a BTC market while most PoS coins only have Doge markets that are similar to Bean Cash with high rewards.

I'm looking at setting up AMS cold staking and just like to know if we can use the same guide on setting up the Solaris cold staking? I also have some people asking me this on Twitter on how to set up cold staking so I thought I would ask you first before passing it onto others. Thanks in advance!

5x reward points (RP) promotion currently running and ends in 45 Hours.

Receive 10 free reward points for every FREE BTC roll you play, 5 points for every roll your referrals play and 5 points for every 0.00000500 BTC that you wager in the MULTIPLY BTC game as well as Bets on Betting section!

Great time to play at Freebitcoin Smiley

Yeah it sure is, I'm trying my luck with multiply BTC to try and build up my reward points which I will then convert into 1000% BTC bonus. I always try and take advantage of these promotions to build up my points and then use the BTC bonus to gain more sats. I've had some success with this but it is a risk gambling to build reward points with small amounts of sats.

Like I tell the people I know that are in crypto. The best alts to hold are the ones in the top 100, mainly the ones that are in the top 20 as they seem to be the best ones that perform well once the market starts to rise. I have never been a big fan of XRP however I have been buying XRP for the past month, it has taken me 5 years to buy XRP as I got into crypto in 2015. There are some gems outside the top 100, just look for coins with an active team and active developments.

Nice to see a wide variety of odds on this sporstbook. Although many sports are postponed there is still a good selection of markets for everyday betting. I hope the platform team takes this time to polish the product. When sports returns the volume of bets will increase as well.

That's exactly what the team are currently doing as once most sports come back we should see a polished off platform for us bettors. The team are also currently working on Bingo and in the near future poker and more casino based games so we got a lot to look forward to with this betting platform in the near future.
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: April 05, 2020, 12:27:04 AM
Does anyone else have any problems with Dogechain.info? The site is not loading for me any more and last month when I did try and log into my wallet on there I was getting a virus threat and I couldn't get into my wallet. Now I have some of my Doge stuck in there and its not looking good, I was just wondering if anyone else here has this problem and have received virus reports when trying to use the wallet.

From my side, I am not facing any problems with the Dogechain.info, which I am accessing to the website. Today I have transferred my Dogecoin to the exchange. Before opening it is better to clear your cookies and it will help you to find out exactly what happened. That's why check whether you are affected by the virus.

Hmm, not sure why this keeps happening to me and not just on my laptop but also on a friends PC. I can not access the DogeChain wallet. I keep getting a threat from AVG saying infected URL Phishing so I don't know as I have cleared cookies/cache but still the same.

Cant wait to see what happens in June when all nodes expire Smiley Exciting times!

Well first we will see many nodes drop off and the ROI will come down on all the nodes so it will be a good time to have coins ready to start new nodes. My MID node is still running and like I have said, I have been accumulating more SIN ready to start a BIG node once my MID node ends in June. It will be the best time to take advantage of this so the smart ones will be preparing for this.

What do you guys think?
It could be.. Word is BCCI considering mini IPL. Not sure how to react as COVID-19 situation is not good right now.

But i don't blame Players and they are not alone, English players too having same sentiments about the IPL. It makes sense as in most cases IPL contract are way bigger than their yearly contracts (Board contract).

Yeah the virus doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon as cases continue to grow daily around 80k+ however they don't seem to be growing as much in Asia so there could be a possibility we see a mini IPL tournament played. India seem to have done well to control the spread of the virus so maybe it could be played in a region where there are no cases? I'm sure that they will make a lot of money just from TV rights alone.

Solaris has been performing very well the past week with consistent daily volume and the price has been holding up nicely. It does look like someone is slowly accumulating more Solaris which in a way is a smart move as the price is low right now and could easily grow very quickly. I just wonder what the team have planned for later this year now that Solaris is on the STRAT blockchain.

Definitely something unique from the traditional grandpa sportsbooks. I like the sleek design and event coverage, I am waiting for INPLAY events to start betting. i will try out bitcoin deposit and esports betting. I'l report back with my experience. all the best.

Well the team are currently working on Inplay right now so we can expect to see this feature live in the coming weeks. Also the team are currently working on Bingo which will be a great addition to the site during these times with not many sports being played. There is a lot to look forward to with this sportsbook in the future as the team have a lot more planned for us all.

This way of looking at things is of course flawed, since it's only done in retroperspective - the Top10 looked different at the start of 2019.

Out of curiosity I have now checked, how the players that finished 2018 in Top10 have done in 2019 season. The results are pretty bad.

John Isner291763.04%-95.80-4.6%

Only Thiem is saving this from being a complete disaster. Overall a total loss of 1012.60 Euro with a -2.2% yield (tbf Anderson and Del Potro had injury-plagued seasons). What springs out, is that all players, that were eliminated from Top10 during last season (Isner, del Potro, Nishikori, Anderson, Cilic) are 30+ years of age.

Yeah it doesn't look good and its going to look even worse for 2020 with what is going on with the corona virus. The only player to be in the green would be Djokovic after winning the Australian Open, apart from that all the other players would be in the red. Its okay for the top players but for the lower ranked players its a very bad time for them. Lets all just hope that we can get to see the US Open played later this year but right now things ain't looking too good in the US with ten's of thousands cases daily now. This could take even longer then most people first thought even governments.

Hi Kees, could you please provide a guide how to use the cold staking feature? (as windows wallet cold, linux vps wallet hot)

Yes, this would be handy. Also, I assume masternodes are no more for XLR/AMS?

Yes that is correct, there is no more masternodes for both these coins however cold staking is like running and owning a masternode andright now the rewards are the same as running a masternode on the old chain. I'm yet to set up cold staking but I am staking as normal in my wallet and have been earning several rewards daily.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 04, 2020, 11:48:12 PM
Why the hell would they want to move to china? I mean I get that many people believe China has already beat the virus and that way they can go where there is no virus since they no longer have it, however that requires you to believe what China says and not what you can imagine yourself. We are talking about a nation with over a billion population and they are not really honest about what they do as a government, there could be over 100k people infected there all we know and they might be keeping it a secret.

Does it really worth it to continue premier league and risk everyone's lives there? I would suggest otherwise honestly and keep it in England, they probably have a lesser chance of getting it or even if they do end up getting it, players are healthy professionals, they probably won't have any big risks at all.

That would be crazy to think it would happen as I believe and now the world is starting to believe that China is making a lot of this up with numbers. We really need to ask our self if the numbers put out by Chain are true because they really don't add up when compared to other countries around the world. So in my opinion this would be crazy if they move to China to continue the season. I think we just need to accept the fact that we most likely won't see any more football played this season and maybe this year as the cases are continuing to grow by the day now and a lot more in Europe.
