Day/night test matches look to stay as there has been one played in Australia for the past few years now and it has been a success even though at times it can be a challenge for the batsman to play but then at the same time it gives the bowlers a chance if the wicket is a batting wicket. I do think that it should remain just one day/night test match each series as it offers something different for the fans and players.

Is anyone here taking advantage of the 4% interest we can earn on our BTC?

I have started a new strategy where I am sending my BTC I earn from faucets over to FreeBitcoin to build up my BTC balance so that I can earn more from the 4% interest. By doing this I am risk free as I haven't put in my own BTC but only time spent on claiming from faucets. I started just a few weeks ago and have already built my balance up to close to 0.005. People say that faucets are a waste of time but that's how I got started and now I'm doing pretty good for myself all thanks to faucets. Even people can claim from Altcoin faucets and sell for BTC on exchanges and then have that BTC sent to FreeBitcoin to earn from the 4% interest.

I like the idea of having a dice game as it seems to be very popular amongst the crypto community and lets face it there is a lot of people out there that love to gamble. I can't remember the site but I used to love playing the snake game which we could earn GP and a few other coins so maybe something like this down the track would also be great for GP and get more people active and into GP.

Definitely. I'm working on modifying an RSC server, the games site will have an exchange to exchange coins/gp to trade in and out of game. It was a process before because the servers were all outdated but there is a group of people that have been working on a private server for about a year now and it's coded very well and easy to work with/host!

That's great to hear inkha, I'm really looking forward to the future here and I'm glad that I decided to hold my GP and continue to stake even when it was all silent in here. GP has always been one of my favourite coins to stake and that the coin has been around for years.

We're currently looking to add a few team members to the foundation. If anyone is interested, please feel free to drop me a message!

Community Manager
The community manager will be in charge of monitoring our social outlets and helping new members navigate the GoldPieces network, answering any questions they may have. More technical questions can be escalated to a tech such as myself or one of the other knowledgeable members of our community

Marketing Manager
Attracting members to the community, Helping run out ad campaigns, monitor our on-going ad campaigns for the project itself, and games in the project.

Graphic Designer
Designing graphics for the foundation, services, and misc.

If anyone is interested get in touch! Pay will be in GP.

I will ask around and see if anyone is interested in coming on board. I can help with marketing on Twitter as I do some marketing for a few other projects at the moment so I can help out GP if you like and can even make a tweet about wanting to add teams members to the GP project.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Week 2 Teaser on: September 11, 2019, 10:36:05 PM
I'm thinking that we need to start a NFL discussion thread like there was a few years ago on here. It died out because there wasn't much interest in the sport on here but I have created a new thread for the NFL as its one of my favourite sports to bet on. Good luck with the teaser mate and come check out the new NFL thread.

Hello everyone!

I thought that it was time we had a NFL thread for the 2019-2020 season where we can discuss all things NFL for the current season.

You are free to post and talk about anything related to the current NFL season and even post tips if you like.

Thank you!

Well I finally got my PC updated so I'm now able to have the full Bean Cash blockchain running like before. I've noticed that it syncs a lot faster with more ram. So I'm back to sprouting beans 24/7 once again like before and I'm also planning on buying some more to build up my sprouting weight as I have lost touch with the network weight in the past few months.

This team is amazing! They never stop with the news updates and forming new partnerships which the team seem to form every week. Sinovate would have to have one of the hardest working teams in crypto at the moment and I'm sure that once Altcoin season comes around SIN will be one project that does well.
1768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 10, 2019, 10:59:15 PM
Medvedev is surely one of the young talent to watch for in the future as he took it right up to Nadal unlike what we have seen in the past when the young talent face one of the top 3 in Grand Slam finals as they normally lose in straight sets without much of a challenge. Nadal will most likely catch Federer and may over take him next year if he is able to stay fit but then I think it will be Djokovic to over take both of them in years to come if he is able to stay at peak fitness. I think we only have another few more years with these top 3 playing and then its up to the young talent coming through which is looking good right now. Congrats to Nadal on winning his 19th Grand Slam title.
It's one of the good Finals I watched in Tennis, my bet is Medvedev and I never loss my trust in him although he was down 2 sets at the start, I like the courage of Medvedev because he was able to come back and even tied the game, but the experience of Nadal gives him that edge in the last set.

Exactly, Medvedev has gained a lot of tennis fans with that performance against Nadal. He was down 2 sets in the beginning and have that mental toughness to get back in the match winning 2 successive games. If he faces someone in the finals not name Federer, Djokovic or Nadal I'm sure he is the champion today.

Congratulations to him, he was so humble during his interview and I like how he appreciates the effort of Medvedev and I believe it will inspire Medvedev  to be better since this guy is still 23 years and more better future to come for him. His length and his height is going to be an advantage if he will mature over time.

Definitely this is just the beginning for Medvedev and facing a champion like Nadal in the finals has given him a ton of experience that can help him win the next time around specially if he goes to the final again. Maturity will come for sure and as long as he continue to improved next tournament he could be the next grand slam winner.

Yes Medvedev does look like the one out of all the up and comers to win a Grand Slam title very soon, maybe next year we will see this. We have seen in the past the up and comers make Grand Slam finals, Dominic Thiem has made the past two French Open finals but hasn't been good enough to win or even challenge to win the title like we saw with Medvedev, he gave Nadal a challenge and almost pulled it off so that is why I rank Medvedev ahead of all the up and comers coming through right now.
1769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💥SOLARIS XLR💥100% PoS + Masternodes💥Txbit.io exchange is live now ! on: September 10, 2019, 10:54:40 PM
That you for mentioning the algorithm as I couldn't remember when posting that previous post.

Yes I am seeing more projects switch to cold staking as its a lot better and cheaper then running a masternode or masternodes which can get expensive if you have many masternodes to run. Yes there are cheap options out there to run masternodes but I still think cold staking is the way to go and I can't wait for the next Solaris update to see where they are currently at with the new code base.
Cold staking is not only cheaper in cost to run staking or masternodes, but also safer for investors, because they don't have to use masternode hosting services that might turn into scam exits anytime. What happened with GINcoin platform is a precious lesson for investors. The platform made scam exit months ago, without any announcement on their website or their announcement thread. It is always bad to use third-party services, and don't have control of seeds/ private keys, that in turn put customers under risks of losing all funds when platforms do scam exit.

For next update, I wish smooth switch, and swap, and high performance of txbit.io exchange after a successful code-base switch.

I agree mate, cold staking is the way of the future I think. We all save on VPS costs and also in the long term it should help keep the price stable as people won't need to sell as much to help pay for their running costs for a masternode. I also think that with the new way we can link out Solaris to txbit will also help with the price as the more Solaris we have linked to txbit the more we earn so not many will want to sell especially once txbit gets some traction in the exchange space and once CMC list txbit.

Hi
Is a POS pool somewhere working still?
Ispace is closing and i need to move my coin urgently
Is a paperwallet for theresa coin?
Awating your answer

No there are no staking pools for this coin, your only option might be to either download the wallet which could take forever to sync as there is no one running the wallet or send them to Coinexchange which again could take a long time. This coin is dead so you might find it hard as no one is staking or mining anymore due to the low rewards. The blockchain is basically stuck and takes forever just to get the required confirmations for a deposit or withdrawal.

I think it is worth looking at the ICC World Test Championship table now.

Can't get how these points are being calculated. After winning 2 games and drawn 1, how come Aus has lesser points than SL that has won only one game and drawn 1? Aus has won the first test by 251 runs and the 4th test by 185 runs.

I was thinking the same mate but then I thought that maybe they deduct points for a loss and for a draw. That's the only way this can make sense so it looks like for a loss the team loses 60 points and for a draw its 4 points but then it doesn't make sense for England as they have lost 2 matches and only won 1 so they should be on 0 points? I hope someone can explain how the points are calculated because it doesn't make much sense.

There will be a swap as its a new code base just like Solaris had in the early days as they swapped from one algo to another.
The previous swap is from NIST5 algorithm to Xevan algorithm.
Quote
Also masternodes will no longer exist for Solaris and instead it will be just PoS which I think is much better as Masternodes are slowly dying as the hype for masternodes is over.
As I know of, the coming staking algorithm of Solaris is cold-staking, and stakers don't have to keep their coins online to receive staking rewards.
It's very cool, and I hope to see more breaking news and updates from Solaris team rest three weeks of September (Swap, codebase switch), and if possible I hope to see txbi.io exchange on coinmarketcap.com in the third quarter this year; if not before the end of this year.

That you for mentioning the algorithm as I couldn't remember when posting that previous post.

Congrats on getting Denarius listed on Stack Of Stake platform Carsen. So now we have another service that has D listed, you can now set up a shared D masternode with this platform and as I have used the platform in the past, I can say that it is very good to use and the owner is a good guy.

Yea very awesome! The platform seems well done and the apps are great! Thanks vella!

Also we are waiting for some Discord links to update:

https://discordapp.com/invite/mDTM3JN

Is a new invite to our Discord chat, old links got bugged out.

Yes it is, I have been waiting for them to add Denarius as I really like their platform.

Surely once Altcoin season starts that D will be one of the coins that sees a lot of price action as it has so much going for it compared to most of the other coins out there. Keep up the good work mate!
1777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 09, 2019, 09:51:20 PM
Boys and girls! South Africa tour of India is about to Kick in, they are going to play 3 T-20 and 3 Test Match series. I feel that they could play one more test, though Huh And for some, it might come as a shock, but there is no ODI series in this Tour, but that's fine because lately I got bored with 50 overs match, Maybe overdose (WC).
Does that mean that BCCI is giving important to T20 and Test matches rather than ODI. If you are betting, Test and ODI we will have a clear picture on how the match will go but with T20 the risk is really high, hopefully these teams are getting prepared for the T20 world cup and hence they are focusing on that format, either way i am way more in Test matches as India is really strong in their home ground and i see some easy money on that series.

Yes I think that we will see a lot more T20 matches over ODI matches in the coming months between all the teams as like you said the T20 World Cup is coming up and it looks like they want to get the team prepared for that. India should dominate this series as South Africa have been poor this year and after a very poor World Cup they will need to improve if they are to have any chance against India in both series.
1778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 08, 2019, 10:36:58 PM
Australia’s response in this test match was resounding. Led by Steve Smith with the bat and Pat Cummins with the ball, after losing the third test the way they did and all the momentum with England, not many would of thought Australia would bounce back the way they did and retain the Ashes. Smith was the man and deserved to win Man of the match with Cummins and Hazelwood both having amazing performances with the ball in this test match.

as the solairs coin is moving to a different code base entirely
does that mean we will have to get our old coins swapped for the new platform or will it be the same carry forwarded?

There will be a swap as its a new code base just like Solaris had in the early days as they swapped from one algo to another.
