1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: March 28, 2020, 10:36:10 PM
This strategy will eventually lose no matter what people say. However I have tried this with sports and I have had success with this as most times then not, teams don't lose many times in a row like we see with roulette and dice games. Yes teams can go on a losing streak however I haven't had many losing streaks like we see with roulette and dice.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl altcoins or..? on: March 28, 2020, 10:32:46 PM
Right now I am holding around 80% in Altcoins and just 20% in Bitcoin. Out of the 80% I have around 60% in the top 100 cryptocurrencies and 20% in mid to low cap coins. I think everyone should own at least some Altcoins for the future, mostly the top coins such as ETH, LTC, XRP, LINK and a few others. Just make sure to look for good solid projects with a good team backing them along with products.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 28, 2020, 10:29:25 PM
Well right now I have been looking more into eSports as this is one option we still have to bet on. I've always wanted to look into this but never got the time to do so but now that we have time I have been placing small bets to see how I go. I'm still studying the teams and games, I have found YouTube one of the best places to learn more on eSports and some Discord servers.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 28, 2020, 10:25:48 PM
This virus has effected all sports around the world along with the sportsbooks however I can see something new come out of this and that is virtual sports that we can bet on. There are some virtual sports right now like horse racing, greyhound racing and cock fighting, I think this can open up the doors for more virtual sports which I think we'll start to see in the future. Just imagine seeing a virtual football game and being able to bet on it.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 28, 2020, 10:18:37 PM
It must be very hard right now for sports athletes with the lock down around the world as it will be tough to stay fit during this. I know there are ways to stay fit however it won't be the same as practising on a tennis court which so many do. Its looking like we won't see any sports return this year which can help Federer however he will then need to work on his fitness and not being able to practice on courts it he may find it hard to reach peak fitness.

Given that Roger Federer is still in recovery, I'm sure that he will extend his rehabilitation until everything has settled down. I will consider Federer an elite athlete (who wouldn't?) so for me it's going to be easy for him to recover and return to his peak form. They also have high level trainers to keep them fit in this time and I'm sure they have their own home gym to keep most of the athletes busy if the games are going to be suspended throughout the year.

@vella85 I beg to differ as these are high paid athletes who can afford the best dieticians, and hire professional personal trainers to help them remain fit during this lockdown. As far as Federer is concerned it’s probably his last year, and it’ll be a miracle if he can continue next year too as he’s aged, and has suffered many injuries too hence I feel it’s the perfect time for him to retire from the sports at the end of the year.

https://www.express.co.uk/sport/tennis/1219140/Roger-Federer-planning-to-retire-in-a-different-way

That's what I'm trying to say, they have made so much money in the circuit, so they can hire the best trainers, best therapist or even the best dieticians, and he even have a personal chef to keep them in tip top form even at this lock down period.

https://fitnessclone.com/roger-federer/

But, retiring this year? Nah, it he continues to win after his comeback, retirement will be delayed, that's for sure.

Yes he might have the best trainers to help him keep fit and most likely all players have trainers right now helping them stay fit but its a big difference from keeping fit to playing matches. I do think it will be for all players once tennis returns, it shouldn't affect most players but I do suspect it will some players.
1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitBean is Now Bean Cash | First v3 POS | First 20MB Max Blocks | 3+ Yrs. on: March 28, 2020, 10:11:52 PM
And not to forget, from an eoconomic view, you "earn" nothing by sprouting. On sprouting the coin is inflated, so becomes more worthless over time, same as with fiat. Sprouting keeps your wealth on the same level, you "earn" nothing, instead you compensate inflation by sprouting.

This is the reason why inflation should not be this high, as with the hobonickel, it's "reward" was 100% at the beginning. It makes usage difficult, because every user not minting loses this inflation rate long term.

True however once BeanCash reaches its max supply, the inflation will end as then we sprout the fees. The main thing that BeanCash needs is a use case, yes I see that some places accept BeanCash for products however we need more. Compared to other similar coins with high inflation, BeanCash has been one of the most stable and is still holding its price in sats while most are now trading in Doge or LTC.
1167  Economy / Gambling / Re: AceDBets.io Multi Crypto SportsBook[Fast][Interactive][QuickDeposit/Withdrawls] on: March 28, 2020, 10:07:25 PM
I thought I remembered this site being released about a year ago because of a mention of a token based system there with aced needed to bet with.
Not to promising when you have a problem with the sites wallet with accepting deposits.
Hope you will recover and come back stronger than before.
Since alot of people staying at home from work now so they will need something to keep their attention.

AceD deposits are fine as I have deposited AceD coins a few times and its almost instant taking just seconds before the deposit shows. Bitcoin was just opened up for deposits and was working fine but an issue has occurred which the team are working on. Anyway there are hardly any sports etc to bet on right now so its a good time for the team to iron out more bugs in the system.
On a business it would really be crucial to solve out problem first before going live for people not able to experience problems because this will give out first bad impression which will likely lost out their interest.

This is why its important for to be fixed first but well its been said that they are working.About their site design its simple but not bad at all.I'll might try to register and would give back some
insights or comments later on.

Before the site went live everything was working as the team were testing for months. AceD coin deposits have been working perfectly from day 1, there was a slight problem with BTC deposits which looks like is now fixed. The good thing right now is that the team can iron out all the bugs while there isn't many sports to bet on. Once sports come back AceDBets should be ready and ironed out almost all the bugs in the system.
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 27, 2020, 11:42:17 PM
^^^^ Well... I think I have already posted about this. IPL during Q3/Q4 2020 is very unlikely. There are two reasons:

1. It won't be good to conduct IPL 2020 during Q3/Q4 2020 and then have the IPL 2021 a few months later during Q1/Q2 2021
2. Many of the bilateral tours, including large number of matches from the 2019–21 ICC World Test Championship are supposed to be played during this time. Both IPL and WTC can't go simultaneously, as the players will be forced to chose one out of these options.

Its going to be interesting to see what the ICC does with the World Test Championship as it the world will most likely be in lock down for the majority of 2020. I think its best if everything is just put off this year and start fresh in 2021.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STREAMIT COIN - TWITCH & YOUTUBE STREAMERS PLATFORM on: March 27, 2020, 11:37:40 PM
I wonder what happened to all them masternodes that were online in December, it went from over 200 masternodes online to around 40 in just 2 weeks. In my opinion this is another red flag unless someone can explain why so many nodes went offline and haven't returned since? If there was a problem with the wallet or network we normally see nodes start to come back online but not here so was it the team holding all them nodes which has also crashed the price. Where are the people here now saying that their making thousands of dollars with running a node???

Has the corona virus put a hold on mandatory KYC in the EU?

By the way if people in the Solaris community want to help get Solaris listed on StakeCube exchange, you can vote using 1 scc coin, the max 10 scc coins daily. I don't think Solaris has a chance to win this month however the votes carry over to the next month which is when we can have a chance to win the vote for listing Solaris.

What exchanges currently buy/sell beancash now?

I know this one:

https://btcpop.co/Exchange

they are also in altmarkets and unnamed exchange =

https://altmarkets.io/trading/BITBBTC
https://www.unnamed.exchange/Exchange/Basic?market=BITB_DOGE

and from the list of their marketplace, only sheldon store is so far disabled. the others are still accepting as bitb as a form of payment method. not bad for actual use case...

BeanCash is also trading on StakeCube exchange. Also for anyone with a small amount of beans, say 1k+ you can send them to StakeCube for sprouting. I say at least 1k as you will earn around 1 bean daily sprouting on there and the more you have the better you will earn. This is for anyone that doesn't at least 100k to sprout in their own wallets.

so how much should i expect roughly staking about 4 million bean? and how often does it pay out?
Brazilman37BTC

Sprouting 4 million should see you sprout several times a day, as you most likely know for every sprout you earn 1k beans. When I was sprouting 500k I was earning 3-5 sprouts daily but that was last year. So I would think you would be earning close to 10 sprouts daily but this is just an estimate as there are many factors that come into play like network weight and if you sprout 24/7. I hope this helps, good luck!
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 27, 2020, 11:14:01 PM
Like I said here, the Australian summer goes right into March early April so there is a lot of time for the T20 world cup to be played. The main thing right now is to try and stop the spread of this virus but some governments ain't doing the right thing by shutting the country down like here in Australia. We should be in total lock down but we ain't as of yet.

There was talk about FreeBitcoin opening a sportsbook/casino, is this still planned or has it been put on hold due to the corona virus? With many of us in lock down around the world, people will be looking for things to help pass the time and playing at online casinos will be very popular. Also there isn't many places we can spend our money so its highly likely that people will turn to online casinos/games to spend some of their money they receive from the governments around the world so it could be the perfect time to launch FreeBitcoin casino.

Little dump from users due crex24 refund but still looks nice  Cheesy

Yeah its looking like that however as you say the price is still looking good and holding up nicely. I've been buying a little each week as I work my way up to owning a masternode. As we have seen for months now SCC has been one of the most stable coins in crypto even after the hack the price has held up well.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Know Your Developer (KYD) Bridging trust between community and developer! on: March 25, 2020, 11:49:51 PM
From what we have seen so far with the KYD hiring platform is looking good. From what I understand the team hope to have this released Q2 of this year. Anyone looking to start their own coin will be able to use this platform to find devs and there will be a lot more as well.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 25, 2020, 11:39:28 PM
I'm thinking that the seasons won't start and will most likely end the way they are right now as the virus is now just starting to take effect on Germany, France and Spain and it could take a week before we start to see England cases rise so I can't see the seasons restarting. If this continues the way its going, we might even see a delay to the start of the new seasons and also we need to think about how the economy will affect teams and leagues around the world as they rely on the money from the fans going to the games and buying memberships. We really could see some teams around the world start to fold which would be a terrible outcome but it could become a reality for some teams that don't have the money to keep going during this down time.

It sounds interesting. I already saw some bookmakers offering bets which football league will return first after quarantine. If I'm not mistaken, Bundesliga have lowest odds, EPL is second. Serie A have lowest chance to return soon...
Really great idea for making new bets  Grin Grin I wonder which platform will do that great in the moment, I may be wrong to ask about other platforms in the theme of freebitcoin, but freebitcoin doesn't have sports betting  Cheesy
Wuhan, Hubei, China, and South Korea are very good case studies. Italy and Spain will get better, next one month or a bit longer. In contrast, there is no evidence to forecast anything in Germany, England. I hope all nations will get better within the pandemic, definitely.
You really should not discuss it here  Cheesy

It might be a good idea however I don't think we'll see any league return to finish the seasons as this virus is going to be around for many more months to come. Its now just starting to blow up in Germany, Spain and France and give it a week or so and we'll start to see the cases rise a lot in the UK so I can't see football returning anytime soon. We might even see the start of te new season be delayed until later this year or early next year. Not just the virus will affect this but also the world economy which isn't looking good and some teams may go under as they can't sustain staying up with no money coming in.

Australia is now in lock down but currently at level 2 so people are still allowed out but only if they need to go to work, grocery shopping and buying medication. With this I do think the T20 world cup will be postponed, the positive is that the Australian summer does last into late March so it could be postponed for early 2021. The football season here has been paused for now and might not start back up again this year but the AFL is hoping to start again but its highly unlikely at the moment.
