We must all think more long term when it comes to holding Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as no one knows when this corona virus will end. I'm thinking that we may see a spike up either before or after the Bitcoin halving but it won't be like in late 2017 early 2018. However in the long term I do see most coins increase in price but we must all be patient.

It won't take much for XRP to reach $1, yes it has a long way to go but which other coins don't have a long way to go from their previous all time highs??? Almost every other coin/token is in the same boat so I can still see XRP reaching $1 in the future, the question is when. I think we are heading towards another great depression but this time around its going to be a lot worse as there is a lot of currency being printed around the world and there is no doubt that we will see inflation and even hyper inflation. The scary thing is that the world could go into the dark ages but I'm hoping that it doesn't go that far but it is a possibility. I'm thinking that it could happen in 2022 so I think we still have time to prepare for when this comes, gold and silver seems to be the best way to go and also stock pile food and also have some Bitcoin stored on a hardware wallet just in case.
If the virus keeps spreading in this uncontrollably pattern without a therapy to combat it an economic depression is almost inevitable, however I am seeing some economists saying that the recession we are facing is already worst than the Great Depression and I find that to be ridiculous since we are nowhere near those levels, however if governments lose control of the economy it is entirely possible we could get there and if anything this should be a lesson for governments around the world, there are many countries in a bad shape already and if an economic depression comes they will be the most affected by it which points out the importance of trying to maintain a healthy economy no matter the costs. Well the IMF has now come out and said that world will most likely go into a great depression which isn't good. Many poor countries will get hit the hardest and may take decades to recover. They are trying to keep the world out of depression by printing money but this won't work forever and it won't work for smaller countries so its going to be dark times coming for us all. I don't see this happening right away but as I said in my previous post, I believe it will take a year or two so in 2021-2022. That is without a doubt going to be problematic, if there is one thing that economist as a whole fear more than anything is a depression which is why they keep printing money, which is why I think a new great depression will be the end result of all of this but during the middle of the crisis we are going to see hyperinflation and then most paper money will lose any value as it has happened in many countries in the past, then some countries may try to back their currencies with gold but it will be too late and an economic depression will happen, I just hope that bitcoin does well during that turmoil so we do not have to suffer the consequences of the mismanagement of the economy. Yes its not looking good my friend for the future, we might not seeing inflation right away but it will come with all this money that they are printing. I suspect that we will see hyper inflation which is scary but all we can do is try and prepare with gold and silver, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I hope so mate, however, there are still new cases popping out everyday here, although there are also people recovering, but more cases have been reported and we still have a lock down up to the end of this month. Just last night, our President is seriously considering Martial Law just to impose those lock downs because there are still a lot of undisciplined people who doesn't follow the protocols so that everyone should be safe and the infections can be controlled. You should also take care there, a coming winter could trigger a lot of flu like symptoms that could lead to the novel corona virus. Yes I live in Australia and compared to the rest of the big countries in the world, Australia has done a great job at containing the spread of the virus. The country isn't in full lock down as most states are at stage 3 but stage 4 will be a full lock down except for super markets for food and pharmacies. To have just over 6,500 cases compared to most countries is good with a population of over 24 million, the cases have been going down as well and like I said winter is coming which could be a danger period. If Australia can keep it under control then we could see the T20 world cup go ahead on time or maybe delayed a month or two. The Australian summer starts in December so there is a lot of time to get the tournament started.
The Australian government did an exceptional job and it is one of the handful of countries where the number of actives cases is going down. A month ago, they used to have 400 to 500 new cases per day, and this number has been reduce to 40 to 50 cases now. Those countries which refused to implement lockdown (such as Brazil and Sweden) are now paying dearly for it. Well at first the Prime Minister looked like he wasn't going to shut down and it was actually pressure from the state governments that basically forced the PM to enforce a lock down. I think by doing this early on it has saved most people here from contracting the virus but like I said Australia isn't out of this just yet with winter coming in the next month and a half. That's when we'll see if Australia has avoided the virus and hopefully we will see the T20 world cup played some time later this year or early next year. |

For the first time since using the new wallet, my wallet is stuck on the loading screen and won't allow me to log in. Its the first time it has happened to me so I was just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem with the wallet just stuck on the loading screen? I have closed it and tried again but the same thing, I even let it sit for 20 minutes or so and then it goes to the city screen and doesn't allow me to log in.
Yes, a couple of people have had the same problem. My only solution was reinstalling the wallet. But you have to delete the folders AmsterdamCoin and AmsterdamCoinNode otherwise the problem persist. I have tried several things but i didn't find another solution. Is someone does find another method let me know... The only problem is will I lose all the coins that I have staked in the past couple of weeks because I haven't backed up the file that is used for staking. I know this because Solaris is the same wallet and the team said to back up the file for staking in case something happens. I forgot to do it with AMS so I'm guessing that I have lost all them coins I have staked. That's only the case with cold staking. Our next release (also Solaris) will have a fix for that. Okay thank you Kees. Lucky it wasn't a whole lot that I staked and just to make sure, what NLGer posted is the right way to fix the wallet from being stuck on loading as I don't want to lose my coins, its not that I don't trust this person I just like to know from the dev himself. |

Goddamit! I need that jackpot man. Im trying so hard for the Golden Ticket but no luck so for. I literally tried to enrol and buy the ticket at very specific times too thinking that it may just workout in certain algorithm to pick my Golden ticket.

Trust me, we all do. That Golden ticket is like a lottery for kings. At the time of typing, there's nearly 5.2 million tickets! The sentence winter is coming can be scary specially in Australia since we know the winter can increase the outbreak much more than today. My only hope is the weather gets warmer so the outbreak will be slower and finally we can be able to watch the matches once again. Okay it seems that I have finally fixed my issue with logging into my Dogechain.info wallet. AVG was blocking the site with a false attack and so I had to add an exception and now I'm able to log in thankfully as I did have a nice amount of Doge sitting in there. Thanks for the help in here.

Like I said you will earn more coins once most of the nodes mature in June this year and then you should see an increase in the coins you receive from your node. You will only lose if you sell at a low price. |
