Women's tennis has been like this for years now which in my opinion is good to see a different range of players winning Grand Slams instead of the same players winning all the time like we see on the Men's side. I think the competition is a lot stronger in Women's tennis with a lot of young talent coming through and winning where as on the Men's side we see the potential the young talent have but can never win a Grand Slam title. I do see this changing in years to come once Federer and Nadal retire so we got a lot to look forward to in years to come in Men's tennis.

I checked the txbit.io today and saw that total volume for last 24 hours is low. Furthermore, the ANN thread of txbit.io has been inactive, txbit.io exchange's ANN thread.
I think that one of Solaris team members should keep that thread as active as possible, and we should not totally rely on coinmarketcap.com listing. If viscolex has been less active due to his personal issues, someone else should take his role.

I do agree with you on keeping the txbit thread active as there hasn't been a post in there for a while. Its easy to keep it active as the thread starter can post about the coin listings each time they list a coin on txbit. That way it will be more active and people on this forum will also see that coins are being added to the exchange and can also attract more users from that particular coins community.

yeh, thats dangerous when you are once catched on gambling Grin I already placed two bets, one win and one loss. It's ok for me Grin I hope poker will be released soon.

Yes it can be mate but I am good at controlling myself when it comes to gambling and never try and get back my losses as that's when most people lose it all. I'm just hooked on betting with AceD as its so easy and the process has been smooth and payouts have been paid almost instantly which I like. I can't wait for the actual AceDbets platform to launch but I know the team are working on AceDPoker right now to get that launched.

I think some people on here misunderstood my post about earning from faucets and then leaving it on FreeBitcoin to earn from the 4% interest. Yes I have earned 0.005 from faucets over the past few weeks however it wasn't just from FreeBitcoin but from many different faucets including Altcoin faucets which can pay off if that coin happens to go up like they sometimes do. I then sell them for BTC and deposit that into FreeBitcoin for the 4% interest so it can be done, it just takes time.

I wouldn't say that they are in control. If they had a lead in excess of 100 runs in the first innings, then I would have agreed with you. But their lead of 69 runs is not something that is very unsurmountable.
Would you agree now that England is in control with a lead of 382 and two full days left for this match Wink, when Australia struggled to put runs on the board apart from Smith i knew the match is getting away from Australia and now England have a commendable lead against them and it is a matter of how long they will go before declaring and putting Australia to bat, England will level the series in my opinion and we will see some major changes in the Australian team.

I agree, England will level the series and make it a tie however Australia retain the Ashes. If England can get a 400+ run lead then it will be very tough for Australia to win even with Smith being in the form he is in right now. Yes I also think there will be some changes as Warner has been in poor form this series and I think he needs to be dropped and I'm not sure that Siddle will hold his spot in the team as well.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 14, 2019, 10:56:47 PM
Well its going to be an interesting end to the tennis season this year as we got the top two fighting it for the number 1 rank and we could see Federer drop from number 3 to 4 if Medvedev is able to continue on with his top form and likely Federer won't play in as many tournaments as Medvedev. I do think Nadal will take the number 1 rank from Djokovic as he has injury concerns and his form has dropped off recently.

Well I finally got my PC updated so I'm now able to have the full Bean Cash blockchain running like before. I've noticed that it syncs a lot faster with more ram. So I'm back to sprouting beans 24/7 once again like before and I'm also planning on buying some more to build up my sprouting weight as I have lost touch with the network weight in the past few months.

I tried getting a new ssd and linking the 2 but... they sold me a busted unit. fml

Sorry to hear that mate.

I did buy some more beans to add to my sprouting weight and now I'm back to earning regular sprouts almost daily with 1.5 million beans. Is there anyone here earning sprouts daily and if so how many beans are you sprouting to get daily sprouts? I know I could use the calculator but I find it inaccurate when it comes to this.

Liverpool are looking good right now sitting at the top of the table 5 points clear of Man City after City dropped points to Norwich which was a massive upset so far this season considering Norwich is the newly promoted team this season. Congrats to the guys that did put a bet on Norwich as you made a killing. I lost my parley bet as I had over 2.5 goals in the Man Utd game.

I think reaching the finals in the US open, push Medvedev to the 4th position already and should be switching places with Thiem, ranked 5th now.

@Royse777 - him winning Cincinnati open put his name in our radar. Also he won the Sophia Open early February this year so definitely he has the potential to be the next future number one here.

Yes I think they switch places and depending on how well Medvedev does in the tournaments coming up as we could see him finish in the top 3 at the end of the year. Medvedev is just under 2,000 points behind Federer so I'm not sure if he can achieve a top 3 finish but with the form he is in I wouldn't count him out on winning a few tournaments coming up. I think if Federer wins one of them or makes the final then he would shut Medvedev out of a top 3 finish. I think its going to be a great battle to see who finishes in the top 5 with Thiem holding it down right now but Zverev is closing in on him and lets not count out Tsitsipas who is just 1,100 points from the 5th ranking.

It's possible that Medvedev can still land inside the top 3 at the end of the tournament depending on his performance in the next tournament and of course we will have to see how Federer will perform as well.

His Cincinnati win lands him in the top 5, and then his runner-up in US Open push him in top 4. And there are still a lot of tennis tournaments in the this calendar year. Hope he remains healthy though, as this is one factor that can affect his performance and slow him down.

Well if he is able to continue on with the form he is in then it is looking likely that he will end the year ranked in the top 3 thanks to the other members here posting how the points are score for winning and making finals in the up coming tournaments. It will be interesting to see if Federer will play in most of the remaining tournaments to try and keep his top 3 rank.

I hope so, he really need to keep that form by entering lots of tournament prior to the end of the year. At least he can have so much experience and there's nothing to be ashamed if he ever does not land on the top 3.

@Trofo, @TravelMug - Thank you for the explanation about the tennis point.

I'm just wondering if Federer will take the rest of the season off and get ready for the start of the new season as I think it could be his last year next year. I think the big battle will be between Nadal and Djokovic for the number 1 ranking as Nadal is within striking distance. Nadal also has all the momentum right now so he could finish the year ranked number 1 once again.

Awesome man that would be great! I'm working out the team structure a bit more meanwhile finishing up the staking pool. We're not far off from launching. Smiley The dice will be another couple weeks to ensure all is working perfectly. I'm considering also adding a stock style page to the application that allows people to invest into projects others are running such as people building games etc. That was you could own a percentage of the persons game and be paid out in GP depending on the amount of stake you have in the persons projects! More updates soon, busy busy busy!

I like the sound of the stock style feature as there are many crypto casinos that have this feature to help fund the bankroll and they pay out a percentage to the people that helped buy into the stake.

Now is it best to have people join the GP Discord if they are interested in joining the team or would you like them to post in here? Once I know then I can start spreading the word on Twitter and also on Discord.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 13, 2019, 11:11:57 PM
I'm really not sure why the Australian selectors keep playing Warner as he failed once again with the bat, he should of been dropped for Finch and maybe then Australia could get a good start. Once again it has been left up to Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith to get Australia out of trouble as it was looking bad early losing two quick wickets. Everyone is mentioning Smith but Labuschagne has had a great series also since coming in for Smith in the second test match, he is Australia's next best batsman this series. England can now take their time and try and get as close to 500 runs as they can which will make it very tough for Australia to get the win and even draw as there is a lot of time in this test match.

Yes, it's been hard to see MOIN being dumped so much in the past few weeks but still holding strong and staking. Seen it before.

Wonder how KingCaper is doing Smiley

Yes it is very hard to see MOIN go down from 300 sats to 30-40 sats but like you I continue to hold strong and continue to keep staking as I do believe in the dev and the community is also great. A lot of Alts are taking a beating right now so its not just MOIN and it always seems to be PoS and masternode coins that get hit hard.

I'm taking the Baltimore Ravens vs the Arizona Cardinal's that will be on Monday 16/09 well, first of all, I guess facing the Baltimore defense is what should be the enthusiastic opener for the Arizona Cardinals so they can make a win I see they had a lot getting harder for the Cardinal to face the Ravens Against Tony Jefferson, Brandon Carr, and Earl Thomas on both side of the ball it will be a hard play for the Cardinals in my opinion and appears to be dim If Baltimore had lit up Miami last week this is the need for the Cardinal to strive harder in my opinion, Well I would go for the Arizona Cardinals I guess Murray is looking good and keeping the team to win this in the Monday match up.

Agree with Baltimore good defense but it wont really that easy for Cardinals to break em up but lets see yet ive been eyeing with Cardinals too.

@OP, why not join up this thread instead? : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5179018.0

That's strange as I did a search in this forum for a NFL thread in the gambling section and this thread didn't show up which is why I created this thread. Now that I see there is a thread for NFL discussion I'll come over to that thread and post my thoughts etc on the games each week. Thanks for letting me know about this thread. I think we could still have this thread for members to post their picks each week.

I had my first bet with AceD bets yesterday and was lucky enough to win. The process was fast and easy and the payout was super fast considering it is done manually. Now that I had my first bet I am hooked lol so I put on another bet tonight for the MLB.

300+ runs on this pitch could be a good total for England but then again it all depends on how well Smith bats for Australia. If he continues on with his top form then 300 runs might not be enough for a first innings lead. Marsh was a good selection by the selectors taking 4 wickets already and will also help Australia's middle order.

is Giorgio Passatelli still alive?

If you mean if this project is still alive, the answer to that is yes. The team will re-brand and have a coin swap to a new coin in the near future but they are still working out some final details as it will be a few projects merging together. In the meantime I am staking ready for the swap as no one knows what the ratio will be so I'm staking and accumulating as many HTS as I can.

NEED HELP HERE ......

my power went suddenly off, and after restart the comp, my wallet said the blockchain was corrupt and reindexed from the scratch....

but 2 days now it stuck at block 994900 ...  i have 34 active connections ...

but why is this not syncing properly ??

few time in 2 years   i have same problem with ams wallet

i delete evertything and start again wallet

indeed i had this also before, and the way you described was the solution... in meanttime it   1 year to go Wink

This is always why its a good idea to also save a copy of the blockchain once it is synced along with your wallet.dat file so if something like this happens you can always just add the back up into the AMS folder and it won't take as long to sync. Every couple of months I make blockchain back ups for all my wallets so if I have a problem with the blockchain and need to re-sync I only have to re-sync from a month or two instead of starting from the start. Its easy to do, the folders you want to copy and save are the Blocks, chainstate folders and also the wallet.dat file. Put them on a usb stick or external hard drive ready for when you need them.
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 11, 2019, 11:13:14 PM
Medvedev is surely one of the young talent to watch for in the future as he took it right up to Nadal unlike what we have seen in the past when the young talent face one of the top 3 in Grand Slam finals as they normally lose in straight sets without much of a challenge. Nadal will most likely catch Federer and may over take him next year if he is able to stay fit but then I think it will be Djokovic to over take both of them in years to come if he is able to stay at peak fitness. I think we only have another few more years with these top 3 playing and then its up to the young talent coming through which is looking good right now. Congrats to Nadal on winning his 19th Grand Slam title.
It's one of the good Finals I watched in Tennis, my bet is Medvedev and I never loss my trust in him although he was down 2 sets at the start, I like the courage of Medvedev because he was able to come back and even tied the game, but the experience of Nadal gives him that edge in the last set.

Exactly, Medvedev has gained a lot of tennis fans with that performance against Nadal. He was down 2 sets in the beginning and have that mental toughness to get back in the match winning 2 successive games. If he faces someone in the finals not name Federer, Djokovic or Nadal I'm sure he is the champion today.

Congratulations to him, he was so humble during his interview and I like how he appreciates the effort of Medvedev and I believe it will inspire Medvedev  to be better since this guy is still 23 years and more better future to come for him. His length and his height is going to be an advantage if he will mature over time.

Definitely this is just the beginning for Medvedev and facing a champion like Nadal in the finals has given him a ton of experience that can help him win the next time around specially if he goes to the final again. Maturity will come for sure and as long as he continue to improved next tournament he could be the next grand slam winner.

Yes Medvedev does look like the one out of all the up and comers to win a Grand Slam title very soon, maybe next year we will see this. We have seen in the past the up and comers make Grand Slam finals, Dominic Thiem has made the past two French Open finals but hasn't been good enough to win or even challenge to win the title like we saw with Medvedev, he gave Nadal a challenge and almost pulled it off so that is why I rank Medvedev ahead of all the up and comers coming through right now.

It amazes me at how these coins get listed on CMC so quickly in a market where Altcoins are suffering. This project reminds me a lot like LGS, LPC, LRM, Blacer coin and the list goes on. I could be wrong but there are a lot of similarities here with these projects.
