1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Elite Coin 1337 : Currency New Thread, Website & Wallets. Same Community on: May 06, 2020, 11:23:43 PM
I remember when there was a vote for the APR and I was happy with the APR will current have and is what I vote for as it does help with inflation. If there was some way the dev team can make it so that coins are burned by buying products/games etc... This will also help sustain a nice price range as well as keep inflation more under control. I remember there were talks about this maybe a year or two ago where we could buy games using Elite coins and that they will be burned, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure there was talk about this. Is this a possibility for this to happen?

I see that there is a lot to look forward to with Sinovate in the coming months with all the recent updates. I really like the look of the new wallet which seems to be coming along nicely and the big thing to happen with Sinovate will be in the month of June when a lot of the nodes mature which will make starting new nodes earn a quicker ROI.

We really need Kees here to help answer all the issues currently going on.Clearly there is something wrong with the new wallet as there are so many of us having sync problems and the wallets not loading. Even in the Discord server I am seeing all these questions but no one can answer them because we are yet to hear from Kees about the issues, hopefully we get an update from him soon.

Against my own good advice I have decided to deposit something new in my account and wager it. So far so good, 7 tickets and a small profit. Now not sure if should go for new strategy: 0.1% tickets every week for normal lotto. And hopefully win something and just rely on all that for the next 178 days?

This can do well for some time but eventually you will most likely lose it all so take what you can now like I did as I was able to work my way up to 49 golden tickets last time with 500k sats but then lost it all but still I was able to get a nice amount of tickets instead of buying them directly. Good luck my friend!
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STREAMIT COIN - TWITCH & YOUTUBE STREAMERS PLATFORM on: May 02, 2020, 11:35:39 PM
Looks like team is already making the coins dead, more than 1 month saying that project will be listed in a top 10 cmc exchange and still nothing, development bad, nothing new, only a coin dying.

Well the team can't even answer some simple questions that I have posted in here a number of times, they just continue to ignore them and continue to just list on exchanges and other sites. Where is the development progress of this project as they never seem to mention anything about this and now this new advisor just seems to be worrying about bringing in people and pumping the price.

Good news?

Tennis returns: No fans, line judges, ball kids or handshakes

Quote
It is a far cry from Roland Garros or Wimbledon, but professional tennis will return in Germany on Friday.

The first in a series of planned exhibition events will take place without spectators, line judges, ball kids or handshakes.

It is one of the first competitions between ATP players since professional tennis was suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic on 12 March.

The Tennis-Point exhibition features eight players outside the world's top 100.

https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/52496009

Maybe this is just a test run I believed so obviously, those that are participating are outside of the top 100. But if this become successful, we might, just see another regular masters event at least in the next coming months. Every precautionary measures have been put into place. So let's see how this 'exhibition' match will turn out.

This will be interesting to see how it goes as if its all good then we could see tennis return sooner then later even though things don't really seem to be changing when it comes to world wide cases slowing down. It doesn't look like it will end anytime soon but hopefully this works for us tennis fans and we get to see some tennis very soon.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 02, 2020, 11:20:29 PM
Man, Just for experiment. i want to see more than 24 team in one T-20 WC, no matter if its economic disaster or not... ICC should go for it.

For Olympics T-10 seems logical to me.

I would love to see two dozen teams in the T20 World Cup. But then, the ICC would never agree. On paper, they have 16 teams. But 8 of these teams are restricted to the first phase, and only 4 out of the 8 will advance to the proper tournament.

I am not a big fan of T10 format. It is too short for me. I watched the 2019 T10 league on TV and didn't liked it that much. It has nothing for the bowlers. Even T20 is heavily in favor of the batsmen, but T10 is just like a bowler's gas chamber. Why can't we have T20 in the Olympics?

Coming back to this T10 game format, it is surely a bowling nightmare but they should change the rules for T10. There should be only 5 batsmen allowed in T10 instead of 10 and this will bring some interest in the game and it will not be like blind hitting like in baseball.
If they think about this all then surely with current system T-10 is really good for Olympics because its really interesting and any team can produce any result surely we will able to have few big upsets going with 5 batsmen is not ideal as full team format is also not bad at all.

I actually like this format as I think it gives all teams even the lower ranked teams a chance at winning against the top teams as anything can happen in 10 overs so I really like the idea. Yes I agree that it will be tough on the bowlers but that was the same when T20 started, the good bowlers will learn to adapt to the game just like they did for T20 and in time I'm sure it will even out.
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💥SOLARIS PLATFORM [XLR] 💥100% PoS /w Cold-Staking 💥Txbit.io exchange! on: May 02, 2020, 11:17:49 PM
I sent a big amount of XLR (more than 1000) on the swap address more than hour ago but still did not receive them on the new address.
SolarisDev I sent you a PM with the details.
Please find the problem
Yeah I finally received it!
Thank you!

Yes it can take a while before receiving your coins as the same happened to me when I swapped my old Solaris but the wallet needed to be topped up and at the time the team were a sleep so I had to wait several hours so I'm glad to hear everything is all good with you.

The swap is now over!!! I hope everyone swapped in time which going by the stats, it looks like almost everyone did with over 91% of the coins swapped which is good.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Know Your Developer (KYD) Bridging trust between community and developer! on: May 02, 2020, 11:15:03 PM
Since 2018 this project was lunch or at least the ann thread was created and am just seeing for the first time, when i read the project concept and i thought finally something to help the crypto community make a better choice and prevent from scam project, but it seem project has been paused,
i was going to ask what is the kyd method to gather dev information and how will they be certain they are given the right credentials and not just fake, i hope the dev will continue with project because the concept seem nice, i think crypto community need this type of project.

I highly recommend that you check out the new website as it should have all the information you are asking here. At first they just required a form of ID from one of the dev team and social media accounts but now to be verified the dev teams will need to provide a lot more as yes there were scams and devs used fake social media profiles. KYDC also now require a video call to verify the identity of the person getting verified so the KYDC team have taken the steps to hopefully insure that we see no more scams however there still could be as there is no guarantee in this world.

Hello

26/04   I send -100001.0011 AMS to address AUdtskgthhu8WUvySUTeDPDE8XTgDAau18
9afdfb10f9c2d5fcd2d1489f73a3060e76af07895fe224272e7345cacade47d7

I have not received any new coins so far
to sent letters to swap@amsterdamcoin.com - no one answers
Swap not working?
is it just scam?
or what is happening?

The swap should be still working as we still have over 1 month to swap. My coins took a while to show up in the new wallet when I swapped as sometimes the new coins need to be refilled for the swap. How long have you been waiting for the new coins? as it can take a couple of hours for them to arrive in your new wallet.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 01, 2020, 11:38:34 PM
I think sometimes the money goes to their head and like some here, this isn't something I would expect hearing from Thiem as I have always been a big supporter of this guy but now he has lost my support because I believe everyone should help each other out in this tough situation but I guess some people are just too greedy in this world because I'm sure he could spare a few hundred thousand or even a mill.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Know Your Developer (KYD) Bridging trust between community and developer! on: May 01, 2020, 11:32:41 PM
Man.. almost two years and nothing done with this project, Moocharoo was right, the MAIN page got dead links pointing nowhere, completely different team members got the same name and surname displayed this is an extremely lack of attention and interest from the team itself.. none of the discord server members noticed that and things got fixed only after my mention about it. I donated 1100 kyd after they agreed to launch a giveaway and then asked some meticulous question about the project and 3..2..1.. GOT BANNED  got a masternode and kept it running for 3 months before this.. really sad

Well they had to change things up and during that time things have happened to the lead dev due to personal issues so the team had to find another dev to work on the new platform which they have been doing for the past few months as you can see there has been changes to the platform and website. You say its been 2 years and nothing has been done, well my friend look at all the other coins out there which are in a similar situation, the problem is that people think they can make a quick buck when in fact things take time to develop. You are welcomed back to the Discord from what I have read in there if you choose to come back.

So, 2 times $200k were rewarded here by lottery tickets? Sounds really wild. The biggest prize in my government recognized lottery is also not exceeding $10k levels. Does Freebitco.in reward from their revenue or from old stash of BTCs. I am really shocked on realizing the numbers by comparing with my local lotteries Shocked.

Well I'm guessing that the sites turnover will be in the hundreds of thousands each month if not more just going by the amount that is wagered each day on the site. So yes giving away 200k in Bitcoins in 6 months time is most likely peanuts to what the site actually makes in that time and like some have said FreeBitcoin has been around for 5+ years now and has built up a strong community and users playing daily.

Even though it was a quiet month for Sinovate the team were still able to form some more partnerships and bring another lead developer on board to help the project. This is what you like to see in a project, the team actively working even through a crisis which we are all currently in and that is why I am very bullish on this project for the long term.

My wallet still won't load even after doing what some members have posted here. I've always been a big supporter here but I do think its unfair for the ones who can't get their wallets to load as we are missing out on staking rewards. Hopefully we get a fix soon from Kees.

i had ( have ) same issue..  my windows fucked the wallet up, so i installed on a diff. comp and  voila its working like a charm...

so if your known on windows enviroment, try to delete everything( also on register) .. and install it from scratch ....
becarefull with your wallet.dat ( in this case *.wallet.json)

Well I'll give this a try and see what happens, the thing that doesn't make sense to me is that I have my Solaris wallet which is the same wallet as the new AMS wallet working perfectly so I'm thinking that there could be a bug in the AMS wallet causing this as after the Windows update my Solaris wallet is still working perfectly and staking but not such luck with AMS.

Holy crap, over 200,000 tickets owned. Definitely a far cry from the first one.

Yeah I guess the rich get richer lol

This person must play multiply BTC a lot to earn that amount of tickets as buying them would of cost more then the prize. I tried my luck this time but I think I'll just not worry for the next round as its impossible for a small fish like me to win anything big as I have been using this site for 5 years and haven't won a single thing with the lottery. Anyway congrats to the winner, I'm sure they will be taking the BTC with the upcoming halving and the price has already started to move so I think its the smart choice.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most gamblers can never hold onto big bag? on: April 29, 2020, 11:16:23 PM
It all comes down to self control and not get greedy like a lot of gamblers do, I myself have done this in the past where I was able to build up a nice amount of Bitcoin with one sportsbook but got greedy and bet it all on one game and lost the bet. If I had of stuck to my strategy I would of been sitting a my bankroll less the 1% I normally bet on games. I have now learnt my lesson and only bet 1% of my bankroll on each game and stick with it. Bankroll management is also very important and I think not a lot of gamblers use this when gambling, set limits and stick to them.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GP] GoldPieces - An expandable digital currency for online multiplayer gaming on: April 28, 2020, 11:35:10 PM
I've been away for the past few days due to lock down. Its nice to come on here and see the latest updates with the dice site which I have been waiting for. Now is a perfect time to start playing while in lock down. I'm still accumulating GP before I start playing and staking on the site.

Unlike u I have not been encumbered by restrictive nature of the lockdown down here, since we dont have any lockdown in the area, but I have not managed to catch any updates. I only see complete still here. Ostensibly they have boasted of having an RPG game coming, but it was scrapped as well as other features. No one is gonna code things for free.

Well at least the dev is here working on the project and its doing a lot better then it was this time last year where GP looked dead. I wouldn't say that the RPG game is scrapped as I'm sure the dev will get back to working on that game in the future but these things take a lot of time.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 28, 2020, 11:32:04 PM
I agree that tennis needs the fans paying for tickets to watch the games however there could be huge T.V viewers which can generate a lot of money as well. I know it won't be as much as ticket sales but at least it will be an income if we are able to see tennis played with no crowds. I'm sure more people will watch especially the ones who normally go to watch tennis will have to watch on T.V, so we shall see what they do in the coming months.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PlatinumBAR XPTX - Rare Cryptocurrency with PoW / PoS (230%) on: April 28, 2020, 11:28:02 PM
Anyone who thinks the dev is working on anything remotely for this coin is a moron.  It's not going to ever get volume or come back, just accept it.  One of the most worthless coins ever.

Well there are many coins in the same situation as this one with no dev activity. I think a lot of these coins will never get back to where they once were and that is a fact and I do agree with you on this. I just wonder how many of the big supporters are still here supporting the coin?
