881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Know Your Developer (KYD) Bridging trust between community and developer! on: June 23, 2020, 11:54:44 PM
This project keeps moving forward and its now starting to show in the price as more people are starting to join the KYDC community. I'm seeing new faces in the Discord server each week and its a lot more active now then it was the past year which is great to see. The team are still here and never gave up even when things got tough which is what you like to see in a project.

but still got dead links on the main page..meh

I'm sure all this will be fixed once the new platform is released. The team are currently concentrating on the new platform which should be released in the coming weeks and then they can fix all the broken links etc with the new links. No point adding links now when the platform isn't finished, just give some more time and I'm sure everything will be fixed.

Actually, the future of this tour is not at the hands of PCB now. Given the number of infections, I don't think that the ECB will give permission for the Pakistan team to tour England. Only after the second round of tests, the picture will be clear. It is very likely that more players may test positive during the next round of tests. Anyway, how can the Pakistan team perform without so many of their regular players?
With the number of players testing positive there is no point in sending a second class team to tour England, Pakistan is usually struggling to put up a strong team even when the entire players are fit and with the current situation entirely not in their favor the best option is to postpone the series rather than carrying on with it. When the rest of the teams continue to put together the team who knows what the situation will be.

This tour might not go ahead anyway as Europe is already talking about not allowing US residents into Europe as its one of the hardest hit nations and with the current situation in Pakistan with the cases rising and with their players contracting the virus its hard to see this tour going ahead. I think it will be best to call it off as this virus doesn't look like slowing down.

Yes I also believe that Djokovic had good intentions in mind when organising this tournament but it seems that the right precautions were taken when playing. Anyway people just need to take a look at what has happened in other sports where players have tested positive, I really think that there is no way at stopping this virus even if players do the right thing. Now I'm not saying what Djokovic was a good thing but its happening everywhere around the world no matter what we all do.

If you are only offering Prematch events, and no live bets, then you are missing a lot of customers.
Why are there no live events? A while ago it was the same case, and it is still not solved.
Looks like a cheap try to me.

ya.ya.yo!

The team are currently working on this and hopefully it will be implemented soon. Live betting isn't as easy as most people think and the team want to get it right before rushing to release something that could potentially go wrong. There are many crypto sportsbooks that don't have live betting.

This news is no good for tennis and tournaments moving forward. I do think that ITF has done a great job at holding off playing the game but maybe they started too soon like we have seen with other sports. The problem is that the sports leagues around the world couldn't hold off any longer but now with have an out break in covid-19 cases which now might put the US Open on hold and maybe pushed back. Lets just hope that the players have a speedy recovery and that no more players test positive.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: June 22, 2020, 11:48:53 PM
Doge coin doesn't really seem to move anymore when Bitcoin has a rise in price. I remember back a couple of years ago when Bitcoin went up in price Doge would follow but we ain't seeing this anymore as other Altcoins have taken its place. I will still hold my Doge bag for the future as anything can happen but I'm not expecting Doge to rise to its ATH.

A new way to invest in a project, really. you burn all your corners at the beginning, which can be scary but it encourages people to invest over a horizon of 1 year minimum, and you do not know exactly what the ROI will be, but you know that it will always be interesting in the end . but the ROI varies according to the weeks, this can be disturbing. in any case, the idea is excellent and that limits inflation, it's smart!

I can understand how people feel with this burning feature but its now been over 1 year and all that joined have made a ROI on their coins so it does work very well. Yes we don't know exactly how much we will earn but from what I understand is that it will always be positive ROI.
More than 1 year has passed and the burning of the nodes proved itself. They work great.
The most stable masternode network i have ever seen.

I agree the Sinovate masternodes have been running smoothly and even if there is a problem the team are quick to fix it and even pay the missing rewards which they did late last year and continued on doing until just a few months ago. This shows how committed the team is at making InfinityNodes become a successful MN system which I think it is.

Both Afridi and Mortaza exposed themselves to the public thanks to charity work and other works due to which they contracted the virus which is why it was their mistake.
If they are helping people during a pandemic more power to them.

Most players are following all the rules like social distancing etc properly due to which they are safe and sound at present. Cases are rising rapidly in 3rd world countries (Especially India) currently and I don't expect it to peak anytime soon.
So you think that the peak in third world countries is yet to happen. The US and India is leading in terms for the number of patients on a daily basis for a few days and it is not promising for the IPL fans but Australia is doing better and we can still hope for the T20 World Cup.

~
Personally I believe that there should be a hard boundary between politics and spots.
Is there a qualification for politics rather than having the ability to win a popularity contest  Tongue.

Australia might be doing better however the cases in Melbourne has started to spike and the state government has enforced lock downs again. Melbourne is where the T20 final is scheduled to be played but right now things ain't looking good so don't get your hopes up for the T20 world cup happening this year.

Maybe moin should shift towards ERC20 or something of that nature and get on DEX-es.

That wouldn't be a bad idea as I have seen many coins switch over to ERC20 tokens and it has been a great success and for the ones that are worried about staking, ERC20 tokens can be staked and its much easier. Also it can open up the doors for the dev with future developments so I think it can be a good idea if the community is up for the change.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 20, 2020, 11:46:45 PM
^^ Why not? There have been lot of changes recently, so it's about time that this kind of format should be tested and see how it goes. Of course, there are going to be some criticism as there are fans that are old and traditional, but for me, it doesn't matter, if the game became more interesting and exciting and fun to watch then I will give it a thumbs up.

I agree, I think this will add some more excited to the game of tennis and we will always have the traditional events like the grand slams and the Masters tournaments. Cricket has been good with experimenting with new formats of the game and it has worked out well so its good to see something different for tennis and I'm sure that the fans will like it in time.

Right, it's getting bored to see the same format for years and it's only the format that are going to change not the game itself so for me changes are really needed at some point in time. And as others have pointed out, there are a lot well known sports experimenting with new set of formats to make the game more exciting for us. Federer, Nadal and Djokovic has no choice but to join and play this new rule.

I thought that the fast 5 tournament that has been running in Australia before the AO has been great to watch over the past couple of years so maybe something like that can turn into a big tournament like a grand slam but I think I'm asking too much for a fast match format to become a top tournament like a grand slam but we just never know. I think it is needed now to get more people interested in tennis as most of my friends don't like tennis because the matches can go on for too long, mainly the Men's matches that are played for 3+ hours, not even football matches play for this long.

On the contrary, I like men's long matches, 3+ hours of high level tennis is very exciting, I guess I'm a real tennis fans, LOL.

https://utslive.tv/
https://twitter.com/UTShowdown

I love how they really hype by giving everyone a monicker here. Every one following the tournament though?

I'm with you my friend as I like the long matches as well. In recent years we have seen some of the greatest matches in Men's tennis of all time and I never get sick of them even if they go for 4 - 5 hours long. I'm the same with test match cricket but I guess people just want to see something different these days and shorter forms of sports seem to be a hit with many people around the world.

I don't like what I'm seeing with the covid-19 cases rising around the world as it could really put a halt on many sports that just started back up and may even stop tennis being played.

I want to say and make it clear that im not calling this site a scam. They have always pay me but the time they  take to set bets and process withdrawals is a joke. Just that

entire acedbet group is a joke.More than 24hours to settle a bet, slow withdrawals and the availability of major leagues depends on the time you enter the site.

Does anyone bother to read anything on here??? I guess the answer is no as you clearly didn't see what I have posted just above your post on why there could be a delay in receiving withdrawals etc... This should all be fixed in the next update so we all must be patient and wait.

I think a lot of people are starting to take notice of this project which is reflecting in the price which is now trading over 10k sats. I always thought that the coin was undervalued compared to what the team have been doing and the products that they have released so now I think the price is at fair value.

I'm afraid to say that I think the T20 world cup won't go ahead as the situation in the state of Victoria in Australia has worsen over the past few days with over 70 cases being reported and with the world cup final being played in Melbourne I can't see this going ahead now. I always had my doubts about the cases here in Australia as I have said we were coming into the flu season and it looks like I was right as the number of virus cases have been rising in Australia but more so in Victoria and restrictions have come back. Lets hope that it is played some time next year but even then it might be pushing it as it seems the situation around the world is now getting out of control and it could take even longer then we all thought for this to end.

This should hopefully be all fixed in the next update and so will sporting events that sometimes disappear. Like I said the team are currently working on the GIN coin swap which uses the AceDBet platform so withdrawals can take a little longer then normal.

Looks like the BCCI is pushing ahead with hosting the IPL later this year in September - November which will put the T20 world cup in doubt. Not only that there are still several countries that have strict travel restictions in place which would make it hard for the world cup to go ahead. I thought it would as Australia has done well at containing the virus but like I said its winter here and now we are seeing an increase in cases daily, the worst since March.
BCCI cannot do this without approval of Government and situation is not good for them even most of experts peak of corona is still coming so I have doubt they will be able to have IPL this year because this could be very risky and can bring some serious damage to them even without crowd many players will not able to came here and join this all.

Yes I agree and that's what I think is the problem for all international sports right now, the travel between countries and states/cities. Even here in Australia there are restrictions on travel between states so even if the T20 world cup was to go ahead it would make it hard. I just think that we have to give both tournaments a miss this year and try for next year which hopefully the virus is under control by then.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 18, 2020, 11:10:40 PM
Its so good to have the Premier League back playing again and what a great start for my team Man City with a great win over Arsenal. I had a small bet on the over 3.5 goals which was looking good but just fell short.

The Man Utd and Tottenham should be a cracking game and right now I'm undecided on whether to go with another over 3.5 goals or go with the over 2.5 goals in this game as I do think goals will be scored.

The dev fund idea's an interesting one. Having a portion of each block reward going to a certain address would require a hard fork, there's no way around that. But it wouldn't take much work.

It'd probably be best to use a multi-sig address controlled by a few team and trusted community members.

Block time: ~64 seconds
Blocks per day: ~1350
Dev fund stipend per block: 0.5 MOIN

This would give the fund about 675 MOIN per day and 246k per year. At current prices that's around $860. Admittedly, that's not going to pay for much development time, but I still think it's a good idea. To get us to a point where the fund's worth something substantial will require a decent amount of unpaid work, but it'd at least give us a better chance of achieving self-sustainable growth at some point in the future.

IMO think that's a reasonable staking percentage, the cost of exchange listings is insane, not to mention all the other associated costs. I really like the "MoinMovement" community fund idea, that rewards people for participating, however, I always felt bad for receiving the rewards and watching the fund drain slowly over the past few years. So, I'm all for a implementing this change.

I agree that exchange listing fees are crazy but at least MOIN is already listed on a top exchange in Livecoin and we can then work from there at getting MOIN listed on some other exchanges like Graviex and maybe even Unnamed exchange as these exchanges don't cost all that much compared to the other exchanges and they both seem to be doing well.
