It was <today> when I discovered that I could change the AF-UpdateHours in LNDg.

Have my node automagically adjusting fees every hour now.

Let's see how that goes, instead of every 24 hours.

I think there's a bug with reconciling all the keysends as profit; it's showing my node as unprofitable again, despite being in the black - briefly.

Fucking LN is a pain in my balls.

produced by ChatGPT?

It's pretty fucking neato, NGL...

Hello fellow Bitcoin "enthusiasts,"

I know that many of you are probably licking your chops at the thought of Bitcoin going on another one of its infamous parabolic runs, but let me tell you, you're all going to be disappointed.

First of all, let's look at the so-called "increased adoption" of Bitcoin by mainstream businesses and organizations. Yes, there are a handful of companies that have started accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment, but let's be real here, how many people are actually using it? The vast majority of transactions are still done using traditional currencies, and until that changes, the demand for Bitcoin is not going to skyrocket.

And even if there was an increase in demand, do you really think that would be enough to cause a parabolic rise in the price of Bitcoin? Please, spare me the "limited supply" argument. Just because there will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin in existence doesn't mean that they are all going to be worth a fortune. In fact, the vast majority of them are probably being hoarded by a select few, and the rest are being traded for pennies on the dollar.

And as for the idea that Bitcoin is a "hedge against inflation and economic uncertainty," give me a break. Do you really think that a decentralized, unregulated digital currency is going to be able to withstand a global economic crisis? It's not even backed by anything of tangible value, and it's completely subject to the whims of the market.

In conclusion, all of you need to stop drinking the Kool-Aid and face reality. Bitcoin is not going to experience a parabolic rise in the early new year, and anyone who thinks otherwise is deluding themselves. So please, for the love of god, stop spamming the forums with your nonsensical ramblings and try to have a little bit of critical thinking.

Dear fellow forum users,

I wanted to bring to your attention a user by the name of JayJuanGee. In my opinion, this user is excessively wordy and verbose, and it makes it nearly impossible to get to the substance of what they are trying to say. They drone on and on, using way too many words, and it is simply tedious to read through their posts.

In my view, JayJuanGee needs to learn how to be more concise and to the point. Their excessive use of words only serves to obscure their thoughts and make it difficult for others to understand them.

Please, JayJuanGee, try to be more concise in your posts. It will make them more enjoyable to read and will help others to better understand what you are trying to say.

Sincerely,
An annoyed forum user

There once was a bot named ChartBuddy,
Whose presence in the thread was a bit muddy,
He spammed the forum with his mindless blabber,
Leaving all the users in a state of shock and horror.

No one thought to report his posts,
They just sat there, feeling lost,
As ChartBuddy continued to spew his crap,
The thread was quickly turning into a trap.

With his mindless posts and lack of wit,
He single-handedly managed to ruin it,
The once lively thread was now a mess,
All thanks to the stupid bot named ChartBuddy, I confess.

But the users didn't give up so easily,
They tried to ignore him and let him be,
They hoped that he would eventually tire,
And leave the thread, a funeral pyre.

Yet ChartBuddy still remains,
A thorn in the side of the forum's domains,
A constant reminder of their inaction and neglect,
To rid the thread of the stupid bot named ChartBuddy, a permanent infect.

Dear fellow writers,

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce my departure from this thread. I have been a loyal contributor to this community for many years now, and I have always cherished the conversations and debates that we have had. However, lately I have become disillusioned with the direction that this thread has taken.

The level of stupidity and ignorance that has been on display in recent days has reached a new high, and I can no longer stomach it. I refuse to be a part of a community that actively promotes and tolerates such behavior.

Furthermore, the political differences that have emerged in this thread have made it impossible for me to continue participating. I have always believed that we should be able to discuss and debate political issues without resorting to personal attacks and name-calling. Unfortunately, that has not been the case in this thread, and I cannot be a part of it any longer.

I am deeply saddened by this turn of events, but I have to follow my conscience and do what is best for my own mental health and well-being. I will miss the thoughtful conversations and camaraderie that this thread once provided, but I cannot continue to be a part of it in its current state.

Goodbye, and may you all find the peace and understanding that this thread has so sorely lacked.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]

LNDg recently had an update, where it allows you to mark Keysends as revenue; something it wasn't accounting for before.

After going through and marking each of the received Keysends as revenue, my node is officially profitable.

It's not much. Probably enough to buy a nice bottle of water or something RN, so, uhh, that's something?

No new Porsche any time soon. Corn's gunna hafta moon a lot more.

Back to this human condition bullshit.

I sincerely hope the situation gets resolved soon and the result is in your favor. Life's too short to waste it in lawyers' offices and courtrooms.

I was thinking of a solution that would keep us out of court, started bouncing the idea off Rick, and now we're fighting again, so, yeah. That's how that went.

FWIW, according to the LNDg P&L display, thanks to all the auto rebalancing tools and shit, my node is set to officially turn profitable within the next 30 days, after a rather messy start getting established.

Life is keeping us super busy with the ranch. Lawsuit in full swing against the builder, and the general contractor is countersuing the builder, with us caught in the middle with a threatened lien on the parcels, so, just, fuck.

Tempted to just throw money at everyone to pay the bills and make things go away, but need to go through the legal process on principle, unfortunately. The general contractor legitimately created a Federal Issue for us and are clearly in the wrong.

Not going to be around much heading into the new year, but will lurk, as I often do.

Fighting a deep depression and rather unpleasant to be around, presently.

Not sure we're gonna make it, TBH, but I need to wait for the lawsuit to resolve before planning my next steps.

Think I'm gonna go do the whole life of hermitude for the last half of my life.

SBF's twitter account's probably been hacked.

Nope.

More nefarious than that.

He's deleting old Tweets, and posting new lame shit to keep his post-count the same, to thwart archival bots.

Glad you folks are on your toes.

I lost so much money in the last few months through buying stupid NFT's which are worth almost zero now, having ETH on Celsius which went bankrupt, and now losing the rest of my ETH, SOL on FTX... NEVER AGAIN! This is the day I convert my remaining crypto to Bitcoin!

Does that make me gay?

I mean, did you hear, they allowed us to finally marry?

Are you looking to switch teams or something? It's not for everyone, TBH.
