FWIW, gut bacteria is all like "Dude, I have no freaking idea what is going on with price right now. It's probably the beef taco's Rick made the other day. If you weren't about to enter Phase 2 buildout on the ranch, I would say ape in and buy some corn, but, like, you're gonna need the fiat soon, and Rick doesn't want you selling any corn at these prices, so, should tap the last batch you sold if absolutely needed, in the next 90 days..." sorta deal.

I should be blessed that the biggest problem I have is managing which fiat baskets I want to re-arrange to head into Phase 2 buildout, and not have to rely on selling any corn at these shit prices, because I made prior miscalculations.

Very surprised to see us dip to where we currently are - A damn ~$20k blow-off top is kinda impressive, but at the end of the day, I just want to take a nap, and not worry about the price day-to-day.

Life is good.

HODL.

Just out of curiosity: which drone? 45 mins airtime (hovering, no wind) points to a DJI Mavic 3, though. (EDIT: 30-32 mins real flight time)

Autel Evo II Pro 6k and Mavic 3 will just barely do 40 minutes hover time in fair conditions.

Fallback beyond wasting those batteries will be the Mavic Air 2S (3 batteries), and then finally moving to the DJI Mini 2 (3 batteries) if I need to go that long.

Not a fan of the Skydio 2. Battery life is shit and controller distance is shit. DJI FPV will drain way too quickly. Doubt I'll dust off my DJI Phantom 4 v2 if it goes that long.

On the ranch front, Rick and I won the legal dispute with our neighbors to the north. They folded after realizing we weren't fucking around, and were taking them to court if they did not C&D and quit claim within 10 days. We presented them with two signed and sealed surveys, along with a multi-page surveyors report.

Hope to get the north border finally fenced in ASAP. Will be on site day-of with an AR-10 .308 with 60mm Thermal Scope to shadow construction crew. Will have drones in the air as well with hover times of 40 minutes per battery. 3 drones. 3 batteries for each drone. Enough to document the entire day beginning to end.

Rick settled on steel colors for the barn, so got that in process officially as well.

Life is good.

HODL. This sideways noise above $52k is bullshit. Ignore it. Not really expecting us to drop much below $53.5k for this channel we're presently navigating.

Can you guys feel it?  This is the biggest one ever, I think I have felt. Like a panicky excitement.

I feel nothing, TBH.

I'm pessimistic that we're going to be sideways for quite some time, again.

Hope I'm wrong.

Sorry the rock has you down... I'll send you a beer's worth of corn to your node.  Buy a beer with it on cAPS.

I have no idea what's going on, man...

EDIT: I'm a retard, and had to look through various tabs to see that you sent me 8,750 sats. Holy crap thanks man. Totally unnecessary, but absolutely appreciated. Cheers dude!

I fucking hate all you assholes that got me back into running a Lightning Network Node again.

Seriously.

I have no idea how one day I rank top 25 on the BOS list, to not even appearing in their JSON data anymore.

Fuck this retarded space rock.
751  Other / Off-topic / Re: [WO/Hat-Gang Only - MODERATED] The fucking COVID vax thread (No hat? Fuck off!) on: November 30, 2021, 04:36:39 PM
I feel it's necessary to re-post from WO.

I don't like how we're getting "testy" and "aggro" with each other here over our ideological differences to the C19 response.

This is always going to happen with any major novel global issue, and don't like that we're developing low level bad blood for each other.

We post in WO for the fun and love of corn.

This thread, while useful in removing clutter from WO, is kinda bumming me out - I understand we're always going to have our differences, but I don't need to read about them or intake them - which is why I enjoy my curated Twitter experience so much.

Anyway, I just don't want to lose sight of us HODLers being generally and genuinely friendly towards each other in WO - along with the witty banter and socio-political snickering all in good fun.

This thread is kinda a huge holding ground for negative energy IMO.

Will still be moderating as needed if shit gets out of hand, but am going to effectively bow out of any further material contribution to this thread.

Peace out. Good luck everyone. Let's hope we all survive this bullshit.

---

In any case, I won't be visiting the COVID-19 thread much

... and to be clear, I only - angrily - chose to create that thread and moderate it for the sake of sanity of this thread.

I don't like that we're being split along ideological differences, when at the core of it, we're all fruity degen WO'ers.

Let us not lose sight of the fun of why we are here in this thread.

I do not enjoy becoming "Aggro Bob" in the C19 thread, when I post content that runs counter to some narratives.

NGL. I hate this stupid space rock right now.

Human civilization and society is moving backwards in its development, IMO, since C19 stepped onto the playing field.

Oh... and just to remove even MORE of the mystery!!!

Dude. My house is in that photo too! The blue arrow is a little further back, and I think it's like, behind the sixth tall building left of your location, but yeah man.

My house would totally be in this shot if it wasn't for those pesky skyline-blighting concrete and glass monstrosities.

Let me hope that I am not that "uninvited Visitor" Smiley

To be quite frank, I've informed the neighborhood we are building out the ranch in, that you are an undesirable entity.

Given the capital outlay so far investing in infrastructure, not to mention the goodwill fostered with the chicken, goat, and cattle farmers in the area - never mind the purple posts displayed everywhere - you would not likely survive a road trip east of Rockwall County, TX using the major thoroughfares.

I need to get out of here...

COVID-19 vaccines seem to be significantly protecting the infected from going through living hell while having it, and also from suffering permanent health damage after surviving it.

Honestly, I'm more interested in permanent damage caused by the "vaccine" than I am about unvaccinated folk contracting COVID.

For all the "vaccinated" people that end up catching COVID, well, that's another group I am fearful of, mostly because humanity has never been inoculated during an active outbreak in this fashion before, using experimental gene therapy techniques.

It's arguable "vaccinated" folk are likely drivers of these swift mutations we are witnessing.

What do you think?

Back above $60k by first week of December, according to current tryptophan-laden gut bacteria.

Real case, happening to some of my dearest relatives.
My 2 sats worth. Take it as you will.

… because, as we all know, getting “vaccinated” prevents all spread and infection…
759  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 27, 2021, 04:47:16 PM
Agreed, I think we need to remain more conservative over utilising the phrase "doing a mindrust".

I agree that we need to sparingly and sharply use the "pulling a mindrust" term only in the most severe, discipline-lacking, and limp-wristed cases.

I've not ever personally witnessed a more bone-headed move on these forums.

I know it is gauche to talk about such things, but with regards to mindrust, do we know the approximate size of his bags when he dumped?

Are we talking 10BTC? 50? 100? Just wondering out loud how much he fucked himself, if we were to assign a dollar value to what an absolutely massive loser mindrust turned out to be.

The unjabbed that don't have proof of jab, aren't allowed in certain places.

And now human civilization has regressed at least 100 years.

Hooray!

Progress!!!
