BORING.

Now, give me a snow-wrestling match between a peak-flaming Ukrainian and Russian bear, and that's another matter altogether.

How can I fund this with Bitcoin?

Guess I got Elden Ring just in time however Wink Cheesy

I just capped out level 90 in FFVIX. Got bored with Path of Exile after grinding a dude to 100. I've read mixed reviews of Elden Ring.

Love dungeon crawlers, loot upgrade grinders, crafting and meta stuff - things that really require an investment in time to reach the endgame.

I got bored with Monster Hunter World about 5 hours into the gameplay, FWIW. Can't seem to really get into Deep Rock Galactic either, mostly because the kids are pretty unforgiving and leave you to die if you're a retard learning the MP side of the game.

[Y/N] Elden Ring ?

feeling it

Feeling the dump too, huh? Ugh.

Finally back in the Terminal rankings with my new node config. Have two channels open pending, one at over 24 hours now. Mempool as been above 1sat/vB for that long.

Not in a hurry for the channels to open, TBH.

Nice to see on-chain fee competition.

Holy fuck I have no idea what is going on.

This is starting to look very robust for mining rewards.

Have a channel open pending for most of the afternoon now. Not in a rush to bump the fees.

"Hades" node transfered 10M sat to "bfx-lnd0" at some sick fees on my part, and threw the channel balance way out of whack now. Not sure how to organically fill back my way... the experiment continues...

Wasn't Trump the one trying to disband NATO?

Are you actually, seriously trying to have a retro-causal discussion about that RN?!???
587  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 02, 2022, 02:26:38 AM
Trump and Putin do not seem to be very rational lately

What does Trump have *ANYTHING* to do with the current situation holy cow man get some help

Bottom line any discussion about surviving first attack is retarded, has been since the 60s, and that's by design for MAD

To be clear, we're absolutely fucked if this thing goes nuclear.

I was just trying to be technically correct, as to my understanding of countermeasures.

Attention Radio Geeks:
...
There's several lists online, this one was sent to me a few minutes ago from a friend living in Poland.  Most here won't have radio gear, but you can probably poke around on websdr.org and find a station in Europe that could get good propagation.

I've been absolute addicted hardcore to https://globe.adsbexchange.com/ lately.

Filter for military aircraft in the region, and put on your tinfoil hat, yo!

This fucking memory pool holy cow...

Also, no way anyone is going to be able to intercept a highly maneuverable hypersonic missle going 9,500 km/h. So, nukes hitting their target are basically a 100% certainty.

I don't to want to wax conspiratorial or anything, but I understand the laser tracking and disabling systems for these types of missiles, is more advanced than we know / are being told about.

It takes a retarded amount of energy, but not outside the realm of what is able to be brought to bear in a full-blown war.

OK.  So the channels I have with you tend to flow to the liquidity being on your side.  Both DEEJ and JEED  are that way right now.
So for now what I am going to do is set the fees on our channel UP a little.  And also all other Wumbo outgoing channels I will drop their fees.  If my poor stupid brain is tracking this will attract traffic to flow INTO our channel, but then OUT OF my others (which is where the fees get charged).

This is certainly messy business. Do what you need to on your end. No stress intended. I'm not going anywhere this time. Starting to get flow across other channels now.

Having a much easier time handling the node setup this time around. Even finding that I've managed to somehow strike a balance between c-otto and ln.nicehash doing their back and forth deal - Had to set the ln.nicehash fees to something outrageous, as they are a massive liquidity drain. Very surprised to see traffic starting to flow back my way.

cAPSLOCK is offering some very active inbound liquidity (dude, check your nodes, both are down), as are some other folk who have connected to me, and even transacting at my default 1000/250 rates upon connecting - Not going to complain AT ALL.

So far, since getting back on this ride, with a different strategy, I'm happy to report I'm pulling in on average an S9 in mining fees per day, and that is with 100% organic hand-management of each channel.

Spoke to Rick more about "solving the problems" I'm wanting to solve, and we recognized it's a script that's going to need to be able to fire off after every transaction, and how to reasonably deal with the asynchronous state of how LN works, and overcoming those issues (eg: If we're presently evaluating the node state after a transaction, and we get another transaction, do we interrupt the current script, or let it finish? Performance related problems etc etc)

Anyway, lower priority now. Lots of work to be done on the ranch kinda thing, and I'm able to hand-manage the node in this configuration with minimal stress.

Just for the clarity... that's a 1696 SAT fee expressed in millisats.  Hefty, yes... But maybe still cheaper than the blockchain currently?

It costs me <~400 sats to open a channel?

Russia is Blitzkrieg'ing ALL of Ukraine's major cities...Looks like WW3. Not even joking.

It's been fun, gentlemen.

Throbbing Sausage!.. I like it! Did you know there was another Throbbing Sausage about 2 years ago, was that your one as well?

Great to have you back to the lightning network again btw!

I sincerely apologize for "dumping" the state of my node and needing a soft reset for a little bit.

Life is has become a little bit more complex for me lately, and the way I had set the node up previously was really too much for me to handle.

JJG and many of you would likely call this "Bob drama", and that's another discussion... all I can say is sorry for being a little bit overly emotional in my actions at times.

It's not something I am proud of, and something I am seeking to improve upon in meat space - trying to prevent myself from becoming overloaded and "blowing up" for lack of a better term.

Being stuck in this stupid meat-husk is retarded.

I figure my "big boi" strategy will be much more manageable, with the way I have set my default 1000/250 connection fees to prevent parasitism.

Then recognized it's not so much about balance, as it is finding "something" to manage the fees - leading me to discover the "charge-lnd" script.

Back to it... with hopefully much less stress now.

If the price don't touch this trendline, I will never post any TA ever on bitcointalk.

Just fuck off immediately.

charge-lnd appears to be the script I need to learn how to master, and set as a cron job to adjust the state of my node fees dynamically, based on activity.

It's not clear to me how to configure it within the lnshell Umbrel docker instance, but will be tinkering with that next, as I've recognized it's the next thing big bois are gonna need to do.
