They want a race war.

This is not a race war.

This is communists taking advantage of those who cannot think well for themselves.

With the perpetrator bonding out for $1,000, I have grave concerns with the trajectory this country is on the precipice of navigating.

Part of me is fucking concerned if I’m honest.
My gut is telling me S2F falls apart soon. In shambles and an afterthought by March 2022.
Hope I'm wrong, but I think we should expect a slower rise than some are anticipating.

Bleh, just found this post. I think we might be in for a bit of a rougher ride, after all, gentlemen.

One year Last of the V8's Being missed.

Gee. I wonder why...

Rotterdam hooligans are well known for that.

I will defer, of course, to your local knowledge.

I'm just tired of broad swaths being painted, when there may be genuine political dissent reaching a boiling point, vs pure hooliganism for the sake of hooliganism.

If it were up to me, I would gather all the eurohools together, give them all knives, and drop them on an unpopulated island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Basically the equivalent of the BLM/Antifa looters on this side of the pond.

Well, that's a bit personal question, but I am 29.

I'm practically convinced most humans are functionally retarded until at least age 42.

Even then, 99% of people that make it to age 42 are fucking retarded, so, humanity is kinda screwed either way...

I don't feel sorry for those hooligan scum getting beaten by the police.

Remember tho, some of those hooligan scum are the good guys.

I recognize the cognitive disconnect with that statement.

You'll have to point out where the Nazis were vaccinating people with a vaccine that is 99% effective in keeping people from dying a rather sad and painful death.

Would you like to take a shower in Treblinka?

this trivializes one of the worst crimes in our history and is just plain stupid.

The comparison is absolutely applicable.

You are blind if you don't see the power shift they are attempting to implement.

Well, physicists tell us that the DIAMETER of the observable Universe is 90 bil light years. I am not sure how they derived this number considering that it is only 13.8 bil years old, as you probably meant. You are absolutely right that it is most likely MUCH bigger (beyond the observable part).

Well, like, yeah... If you want to be pedantic, I'm referencing the ~13 bil year old arrow of time expanding outwards in all directions to create a presumably spherical volume - What lays beyond the known volume of space/time sorta question type deal?

You and me both my friend.
Either planet Earth is the only life harboring planet in the universe or it is not.
We may never know. But regardless, either scenario is mind boggling.
I've read a few articles that basically say, we can't be the only planet in the whole universe with life ... there are billions of stars per galaxy, and billions of galaxies, and an exponential number of planets per star (well, some stars have no planets, but some stars have solar systems like ours.)
We just haven't seen them, or they haven't seen us, or somehow we are too far apart to see each other, or they may have lived long time ago.

Never mind the observable universe is only ~13 Billion light years. Who knows what lays beyond...

Even if someone comes around as a fucking retarded asshole, he/she/it is acting this way just because he/she/it is struggling with life in some way, like all of us do/did and will always do so again.

This resonated deeply within me.

Very insightful.

Thank you for the perspective. As obvious as it is in retrospect, I have not considered the sentiment as you have stated.

Good time to buy methinks.

Probably not a bad idea. Looks to be leveling off. Doesn't look like it's going to drop below $62k.

EDIT: "Doesn't look like it's going to drop below $62k."

Heh heh, uhh... uhm...

Well, this afternoon was a bit surreal.

Caught up with our estate planner to update our wills, and we have become "the bitcoin couple" at the firm working with us.

Last we checked in, our attorney had a rough idea of what my stash was worth, and it was impressive to him then - a few years ago - and after revealing the current value of our holdings, he was just absolutely dumbfounded. Could not believe that I held the stash we do (minus what I've peeled off for the ranch / retirement) and the wealth we've come into by sheer HODLING.

Began to recognize at that point we suddenly "ranked" at the firm as one of their top tier clients.

Their firms current, biggest whale is worth about $500M. Expecting him to reach billionaire status within a few years on one of his enterprises.

Fucking crazy world we live in.

Thanks Satoshi.

Thanks for putting up with all my shit, Rick!

It's stupidly addictive for some weird reason.  Maybe you need an LND node, you're running CL yes?

Running Umbrel, which is LND based. I like it. Will continue to run it until I find a compelling reason not to, now that it's all set up, and "stable" - no major liquidity drains I can identify, aggressive pricing for major nodes. Will see how it plays out now that the board is properly set up, so-to-speak.

Rick and I are heading out of town for a few days coming up, so kinda nervous about leaving the node alone, that long, but will see what happens. If I get drained again on a major channel, so be it - I'll figure it out on the next go-around type deal. In theory...

Zero desire to set up CL, or another flavor for academic purposes. Too much of a management nightmare already with one node.

Taproot activates in the next couple blocks!

Get ready for green dildos... and stuff.

EDIT: Also, 100 channels even, on my LN router. I'm done. No more.

(...for now?)
