The cattle farming (and horse riding) will most likely change your life a lot towards the positive, emotionally.

Counting on this, TBH.

My horse riding days are behind me. Getting older and don't want to risk a Christopher Reeve kinda situation. Safer to drive around the property on a 4 wheeler John Deere Gator. And can carry more practical load than horseback.

Yeah yeah so I'm a whore for John Deere products now. Wut iz haPpAnING!?Huh?!!!!!1111

The easiest way is to spent about the same time (minimum) with simple, uplifting activities.

Honestly, the thing that gives me the most satisfaction lately, is becoming increasingly proficient with a John Deere 325G track loader. Spent a solid 8 hours behind the controls last Saturday. We're getting ready for October planting with our neighbor/partner and I'm clearing out about 17 acres of additional hay fields for the guy to grow on - with a root-rake attachment, in addition to handling the burn piles for all the cleaning and improvement work I'm doing to the land.

I should not complain too loudly.

Have been very blessed all things considered.

Are you bringing fiber to a remote Texas rural community

I have all sorts of grandiose ideas I look forward to entertaining once the barn is livable. Should be getting a quote any day now to build out the interior. Doors and windows have been ordered. Already has the garage doors installed.

Truth be told, they already have a pretty decent fiber run up the main highway closest to us, so should not be a problem running it out to the barn. Then during phase 2, run it to the house/studio/museum as well.

I'll cross those "grandiose bridges" as our base slowly expands. Had to already scrap and re-think many plans already, and hoping I don't need to sue our builder. Lawyer is presently building a case should they fail to fix a problem with a half mile stretch of concrete they poured - a very costly mistake on their part that they need to fix due to FEMA floodplain issues they've created.

Grief.

I can't stand life, lately. Too fucking complicated. I'm a simple fucking man at heart.

Helo frens.

How iz ur traed?

Kaboomracks has them for immediate delivery.

Thought about getting one for "reasons", but decided against it. Keep doing the math, and it's still less stress to just market smash-buy corn instead

Which of the communities do you love the most, the community on twitter or the community here on bitcointalk? Smiley

They each have their place.

Twitter is just fucking crazy. I love it over there. Total fucking nut-house pleb bitcoiner multimillionaire shit-posters hurling insults at each other in bear markets and exposing altcoin shills is so much fun.

Muting/Blocking thirst/simp traps.

Mocking degenerate shitcoiners.

Making Calvin Ayre question his very existence.

Telling Elon to fuck off for being a limp-wristed bitcoiner.

I'm much more "reserved" here  Grin Feels like I can come here to unwind and catch up at a more leisurely pace.

Have waaaaay more fun with my Twitter avatar than I do here, TBH.

EDIT: Like my new ride?

I'm stacking some corn today.

I have problems with this thing on Twitter that keeps me wanting to stack. Quite the Bitcoin community over there.

Love those fucking retards.

It's incredibly frustrating actually.

So how about that mempool, huh?

Fuck.

While you are having a bad mood, I may just say how fucked off I was over your city boy attitude towards your neighbour farmers over what amounted to less than an acre of dirt. Whilst you won your ground legally, your action will not be forgotten by all your neighbours, who possibly have three generations or more buried in the church yard.
This needed saying.

They fucked with the wrong city boy in bad faith and paid the price.

It's extremely unfortunate the situation was what it was; not what I desired.

I made them an extremely generous, good-faith neighborly gesture to resolve the issue if presented with a valid survey, they yelled at me and dragged their feet for over three months - providing us nothing, and ghosting our lawyer.

I could not let the matter be unresolved forever. I had to enclose our border.

My patience is not infinite.

<former Prince>

If I could blow my merit load, at a 5:1 ratio to remove merits from someone, I would likely have Theymos revoking my merit source as a punitive move for dumping everything into your forum account to keep you at a negative merit count...

I've always gotten better mileage out of a blend of clover and alfalfa. Usually get 2 good cuttings per year. Or is it too dry down your way for alfalfa?

Honestly don't know. Our partner is the local knowledge. Between him, and coordinating the wildlife exemption needs Rick is managing (need to plant 'native grasses'), I'm just trying to manage the labor portion of the work, and let them work out the nitty gritty eco stuff.

I understand the soil will need to be 'conditioned' across a couple seasons to become optimal for cattle feed - learning stuff as I go along sorta thing.

Some of them find that helpful news. But, The question is, Why noobs only?

Honestly, because this is one of those low-bar posts that can likely be answered by "Hey Siri. What's the price of Bitcoin?" or some shit, and I'm extra grumpy lately (never mind I'm surrounded by at least two displays with different BTC tickers on them at any given time of day while at home)

Likely going to sue our builder for... massive incompetence, negligence and possibly malice if they fuck with me any further. I've had to disengage dealing with them for a bit to get my sanity back. Rick is fucking with their heads real good RN. Kinda going through some dark times lately...

We're proceeding end of phase one with a completely different team. Barn is presently being sealed in with doors and windows (Garage doors were installed Wednesday). Have the second floor living space floor framed. Storm shelter should arrive next week. Cows are happy. Bought a brush-hog/shredder attachment that our partner is presently making use of ahead of next planting - We'll buy a tractor when the barn is finally sealed in. Have been clearing trash cedars in a track loader to make room for another ~18 some-odd acres of wheat/grass for cattle feed. Really enjoying playing with heavy machinery.

Very calming in a way. Moving meditation kinda deal.

Caught a coyote on trailcam the other day; first in a couple weeks, and recognized I need to move a deer-corn feeder to a different part of the property, cuz the fucking dumbasses haven't found where I put it after two weeks now... A few hogs too. Will be looking forward to some night hunting hogs with my thermals. Our property has been announced to the neighborhood as a deer sanctuary (some hunters up the way NW from us), so would like to make what efforts I can to keep them close by, and make sure I cull all the coyotes and hogs I find.

I should not complain too much. We've been very blessed all things considered.
