I'm just waiting for BBQcoin to make a comeback. It's due.
Namecoin is going to supersede DNS any day now...

For now, it is not clear what the status of smart contract transactions will be in Etherum, more or less I think this will give direction.
Who cares. Go fuck off back into Vitaliks anus.

Buying again, starting @ $38k. Orders laddering all the way down to $34k in place, just in case.

This dodge pump is starting to piss me off.
It's distracting, and completely, brainlessly retarded.
Kudos to folk profiting from it, but it just boggles my mind at how fucking idiotic crypto-Twitter is on doge right now.
On the plus side, all roads lead to King Corn, so, I guess that is OK.

Last but not least, I would preorder IF these guys would ask for “some” money and then when it is ‘shipped’, then charge the rest. Not that I don’t trust them - I just don’t trust individuals who want to get my money first, then ask their builders to build these as requested.
Saw this posted on the WO thread yesterday, and thought it looked interesting. I would be interested in something beefier in the hash rate department, but it's nice to see home miner solutions being made available again. Paying with crypto for these is just a bad idea in general, but if paying with Paypal, that affords you some measure of protection if they do not deliver on time. Paypal doesn't fuck around when it comes to their sellers not meeting production deadlines for pre-orders. Good luck with this project. We need more mining decentralization. Give me something in the 1200w range, and I would be interested in picking up a few for our upcoming ranch, which will be powered by wind and solar almost exclusively.

ATH is right around the corner this Sunday Night.
I'm probably wrong, but I have a feeling we're going to see $50k over the next seven days.

Meanwhile we're over $38k again...
$39k again...

Observing quarterly shorts getting blown out @ $40k USD/BTC.

Get the fuck out of here. Ignored.

Ever since then I look kinda horse-eyed at every tennis court I see... but, never again have a seen that.
I forgot. Scorpions. Have seen Scorpions around here. Very rare, tho. Have never personally eyeballed a Tarantula around these parts, but have heard anecdotal reports, like yours.

Also, being bitten by the Black Widow Spider there and moving to another state soured me on the possibility of living out in the sticks. I also saw snakes on the place... South Texas has some nasty creatures.
Rick can't stand Tarantulas. Austin is practically overrun with them, from what I'm led to understand. Not so much in the area we are looking in. Guess it gets too cold up here. Not many scary things around the Dallas parallel. Brown Recluse, Black Widow, Water Moccasins, and the occasional Rattle Snake are all that I'm aware of. Have only ever personally eyeballed a Black Widow around these parts.

Filecoin does not count. Why do I have to invent a new coin to drive the incentive layer of IPFS?
Fair point. Did not consider that. IPFS should be free. Filecoin is indeed muddying the waters. I retract my point about Filecoin being relevant.

Please don't tell me that you were seed investor Fuck no. I'm not into altcoins at all. BTC maxi all the way. The question was about other working blockchain products, and I noted one that interests me, due to its IPFS roots. Dumped all my memestocks at market open, and bought a nice healthy block of corn @ $36,800. /r/wallstreetbets moderators being so blindly negative on Bitcoin ultimately turned me off their entire community and activism. Decided I no longer wanted to be a part of it. Back to degenerate sat stacking. Back where I belong.

how can i find out if it is used and/or making profit - other than selling the token?
Not sure about that stuff. You asked about a working blockchain product, and Filecoin is really the only technical project out there that interests me beyond Bitcoin. Was actually thinking about running a storage node, and start generating some income by devoting HD space, but I don't have SSD's or a system meeting their server RAM requirements. Don't feel like building one either. Was hoping to use my existing infra. Not going to buy into it, but following the project, as a distributed filesystem interests me. I am concerned about NOT storing illegal content, so, not sure how that stuff can be resolved or monitored. Probably goes against what the coin was built for, but I don't want to be storing CP, for example (and yes, I am aware of being able to extract all manner of crap from the BTC blockchain. Doesn't mean I want to do it or support it.)

i give 10 merits if one can name me a working blockchain product.
Filecoin.

Folks, I love your custom hats and I want one for myself
Here's your custom hat. I believe you'll need it. Was thinking something along these lines is more apropos.

anyway you can fit a 1/4 mile drag strip on one of the straightaways? bonus points if its your driveway too.
Actually, yes. The driveway will be *AT LEAST* serving as a straightaway 1/4 mile drag strip before hitting the bridge leading towards the main parcel of land. Difficulty factor: Roaming, grazing cattle. Will need to find some way of making sure the cattle are completely isolated from the driveway and racetrack. EDIT: Jesus a lot of my $GME buy orders executed today, on the way down. YOLO !!!

OT: Hedgefund Greylock Files for Bankruptcy After Losses Spur Withdrawals
Is it wrong for me to admit I am sexually excited by the notion of hedge funds being absolutely destroyed ?

Things are getting pretty serious about Ranchero Lawblaw. Have engaged an engineer for a proper survey / evaluation of the land we're looking to buy. Also, surveying to see if we're able to build a well on the property, which will be critical.
Woo.
Them: "Wait, so, you want to build a racetrack, through a 100-year floodplain ?" Me: "Yeah, 1% chance per year. That means I have a 99% chance, decreasing, of using it every year until I die. I'll play those odds." Them: * Look on face of "Is this polite black man serious ?" * Me: "Yes. I'm absolutely serious. Around the perimeter of the property. Please make sure we are abiding by easement rules for the properties next to us. We'll need a cross-section for the race-track intersecting the driveway." Them: "You have obviously given this a lot of thought." Me: "Yes."
Also, go Corn !!!
