Are you all- automatically converting your currencies into BTC ?

So far only way I've been able to make good money is via - mining Skein (DGB) and Zec and then waiting until it goes above the price where I started mining them. Ideally I start mining when they start falling lol  based on this method I'm at around ~7-7.30$ a day. Based on current standing. If I automatically mine just BTC- that's a lot of faith in just one BTC

I have a single 1080ti and past few days I've been using another 1080 along with my 1080ti - so I'm just collecting DGB and ZEC now-

I wish there were software that allowed us individual mining- as in I can select 1 card to do ZEC other to do DGB and third on ETH

I've ordered another card 1070 lol - three different cards in one PC .

Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!

Yes. Keeping altcoins and waiting untill they go up in value is a nice strategy. I do this with bitcoin.

How is Skein is DGB right? that's giving you 6 USD currently ? with the current market value?

Yeah, I was doing that but for me that's putting a lot of faith in just BTC -what I'm doing now- it divides the faith in DGB ZEC and BTC lol

They are all doing 800 Sols with a bit less than 140 watts each power draw (750W for the entire rig including system overhead), and operating in a 90° F (32° C) environment, so not unduly cool by any means.

What miner are you using? Your stats sounds incredible. My cards are running over 200w at 75% with 120 overclock and they are only doing 720sols.

HashRefinery has myriad, digibyte, unitus, bitplanet, aurora on the skein algo.

6 usd... some days yes.. the stats are in the link. they are live.

i tried nist5 and skunk, but skein seems to be more stable

It's a great pool and I have a great GPU. Credits go to user Fromage for optimising the miner for a 1080 ti.

720 sols where? what pool?

my strix was doing 780+ sols with less than 400w for entire rig. think it was about 300w, i dont have a meter anymore plugged in.
gpu temp is less than 60°c with fans at 70%, cpu at 29-32 °c (open rig)

if you are like me and you want to earn btc, you should play around with different algos.. i tried a few places mining eth, but was earning less than at hr with skein

1 asus strix 1080 ti, using alexis.

2017-08-27 18:00    0.00188433 BTC - 6.8839 EUR
2017-08-26 18:00    0.00067467 BTC - 2.4647 EUR

that's 4,4192 EUR / 5,27272429 USD in 24 hours.. but some days are better than others... 4,5 eur is ok for me.

Oh bro-damn! thanks.

I was worried that I'd be stuck with mining same coins-

Now , when my new cards show up-if they ever do- apparently shipping date for 1080 is 21 sep  and 1070 is 24 september then 1070 would solely be used for ETH - 1080ti and 1080 I'd use for same stuff.

Thanks again

These are the speeds I'm getting and it's for you to decide if you think it's worth or not

These are the speeds I'm getting

Considering - around minimum $930-940 for 1080ti and $700 minimum for 1080 - CAD and I use blower style only. Better for heat dissipation for my PC case. I do have 1500W PSU in my PC but I'm not a big baller so I'm taking baby steps and only purchasing stuff that would give me shortest ROI. I can run 5 graphics card from my PC though. Plan is 1x1080ti , 1x 1080 , 1x 1070 - then once money rolls in- then decide. Another 1080 and 1070 won't be with me until end of September if at all(scarcity and all) Fingers crossed though.

1080- 3.69$ ZCL
1080ti - 4.38$ ZCL

So you'd need extra 300 days to earn that $200 from that extra 70 cents (all else being the same, currency and what not-) . I haven't done power calculation yet because it isn't of concern to me just yet.

...

Thanks for sharing. My mobo only supports 4 gpus, so thats what i will have eventually. Still not sure wether to buy a ti or not.

Edited: I keep wondering if it is earning me more to mine dgb at flypool or TBF, and have it exchanged myself. It would be more work too.

What do you think? I will not keep DGB, so it will be exchanged almost every day or so. I need BTC atm.

I don't understand why people are mining DGB

Makes no sense to me

SKein or groestl

SIGT, the Z coins, and LBRY are the best so far as I can tell. Also music coin whatever the hell that is

Is it because the math works out if you don't pay for power or something? Or have a really low rate?
