5850, 6990, 7990

But you wont make much with any of them.
722  Economy / Digital goods / Ingress Activation Code on: March 06, 2013, 10:26:54 PM
Ive got an activation code for Ingress for sale if anyone is interested.

Say... .2 BTC?
723  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Not sure if its been hit upon yet, but Raspberry Pi mining cluster? on: March 06, 2013, 01:31:37 PM
I think someone tried and posted about it. If I remember right it got less than 5mh/s. Not worth mining on but could be used to control FPGA/ASIC units via usb.
724  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2000 GH/s] BitMinter.com [ASIC support: var diff, Stratum, GBT, rolllntime] on: February 28, 2013, 07:23:16 PM
The OpenID identity provider myid.net appears to have shut down. If you can't get into your BitMinter account because of this, contact me at operator@bitminter.com

question about walletbit.com

Haven't seen that one. An online wallet? I hope it's temporary.

Is this a temporary issue or shutdown permanently?
725  Economy / Goods / Re: [Wts] PirateBox and PirateBox t-shirts on: February 22, 2013, 09:22:09 PM
Ive read about these before but really dont see the point. There is no internet. Users can chat and file share but why chat if your close enough to pickup a wifi signal? Also to share files what not just connect to each other via ad-hoc?

Not trying to be negative, I honestly would like so understand the product better.
726  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does starting FPGA mining now make sense? on: February 15, 2013, 12:10:40 PM
I would say no. With Avalon "Shipping", BFL planning on "shipping" soon and ASICminer being testest I would say difficulty is going to skyrocket within the next 2-3 difficulty changes. Unless the FPGA is dirt cheap I doubt you will break even.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difficulty to Network Hashrate Calculator? on: February 12, 2013, 05:00:26 PM
@DannyHamilton I'm trying to figure out how many coins/day a 60 GH/s ASIC will produce once the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd wave of BFL+Avalon ASICs hit the network.

(Is 1 TH/s equivalent to 1,000 GH/s, or is it 1024 GH/s?)

As far as I know the 1000 vs 1024 thing only applies to memory (Bits vs Bytes) so 1000Gh/s = 1Th/s

i was in the first 25 orders with bASIC before it went belly up. Had I received my order it would have paid for itself pretty quickly, even if bASIC shipped after everyone else, just because of my place in line. I see no point in ordering from someone else now for the same reasons as posted above. I plan on continuing GPU mining until it is unprofitable and then using my ~ 3 months worth of points at CoinLab. Any money will be put toward buying coins rather than mining. Until we get more info from the ASIC companies I dont see any other way to continue...
728  Economy / Goods / Re: First 5: ABSOLUTELY FREE Bitcoin Bill on: February 11, 2013, 10:36:10 PM
I would ask for one, but I'm not creative enough to make a design, so I'll let someone else get it that can be creative with it!

same here
729  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Drama from BitcoinASIC on: February 08, 2013, 04:37:09 PM

Also, and somebody else would have to look into this aspect, Tom Van Riper not only collect money for mining units, but also extra to handle S/H. Is there anyway to get the Postal General involve?

Oh absolutely! If his customers pursue to the fullest extent, it's definitely going to land in mail fraud territory too.

What about Tax evasion? We don't know, can't prove it, but it seems plausible - was BTCFPGA web cart adding the appropriate State sales tax?

Anyone running a retail business and not charging sales tax is likely not filing their income tax return accurately either...

I think sales tax only applies to people who live in NY, since that is where the business is located.
730  Economy / Speculation / Re: Uh oh - fat fingers. on: February 07, 2013, 05:17:23 PM
To this date, nor my wife or daughter know of these incidents.

 Cheesy Cheesy

Good stuff!
731  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: February 05, 2013, 07:06:10 PM
This is just getting ridiculous.

Tom is a scammer. I don't believe he set out to scam, but he has failed to repay his investors when things fell apart and has lied about relevant facts.

Dave has helped many people get their money out of this collapsing company. I've seen zero evidence that he's stolen anything from anyone. Matter of fact he seems to have contributed his time for free to help some people get out. Can we just stick to what we know and at least give Dave the presumption of innocence unless and until we know something to the contrary?

Yes, I agree with that.
As do I.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/threat

You stating he has 24 hours to talk, or else.
Stating you be happy to do the same to Dave.

Both threats...

You might not be walking up to his front door and beating his ass, but your giving someone else the information needed to do it.

Please tell us, what reason would you have for handing out this information other than doing harm in some way? To have the community send flowers and cards? I think not.

Please tell us, what reason does Tom have for not paying his debts to this community while not being publicly flagged as a Scammer?

i never claimed he had a reason for not paying, nor did I say he should not be flagged as a scammer. Must be that english language your so good with...

Maybe the reason Im so calm with this mess is that before I ever spent one cent on anything Bitcoin related I decided that it was ok for me to lose it without hurting me financially. Granted I dont WANT to lose it, but I can afford to without any harm.

That being said, I would like my refund.

I still ask myself this: why would anyone put themselves in the hot seat Tom finds himself in, when his identity and that of his immediate family is so easily retrieved?

Threaten a man's family and he will most certainly not ignore you!!

I have in my possession significant details on the subject and his immediate family, which I found in just 30 minutes of searching. Included are names, home and mobile phone numbers, home and business addresses, other properties/investments owned, and properties/businesses managed. Tom's father is far from being a nobody, and they are both well known in their local community. And pictures to prove it.

I am not an affected party and I certainly don't wish anyone physical harm, but I find this matter disconcerting at many levels. I may be interested in releasing the information if there is a public demand for it (for a very small donation).

If I were in Tom's shoes, which I'm happy is not the case, I would immediately start refunding and paying back all debts. Or, I might try to bribe the author of this post in order to buy their silence (it might be for sale at the right price).

Contact me.

Well done idiot boy!!!!!
In a single post you managed to threaten to physically harm  and blackmail a person in public.

I did no such thing, name caller!! I simply suggested that one could, if they truly wanted to get his attention. You must have missed where I intentionally said I was not affected and don't wish anyone harm.

hardcore-fs,

The information I am referring to is public - anyone with a half-brain can seek what I have found in just a couple of hours. To assume this implies physical harm or blackmail is just plain retarded.

You don't scam a community with your real name, and if you do it without an LLC to protect your ass, then you are an open target for villagers with flames and pitchforks.

I reiterate that I am not an affected party, am a pacifist by nature, have a strong aptitude for private investigation work, and care greatly about this community.

I shall be releasing all information I have on Cablepair / Thomas Van Riper for all to see free of charge via a public channel - that way you can't accuse me of blackmail and you can't control my posts either.

I shall not be held responsible for what occurs as a result of this public disclosure. It is up to those affected to leverage the information and do something about their losses.

It is up to the Scammer to make things right. Tom has 24 hours to start talking with this customers if he wishes to prevent his own doxxing - I just want to see him open communication.

Peace.

EDIT: I've left Dave Carlson off my radar for now, but would be happy to start doxxing him too, if this community feels it is warranted.

Sounds a lot like a threat to me...

How do the free plays work? My ticket shows 3 pending free plays but Im not sure if I really won them or not.

My ticket: https://bitmillions.com/address/1Q6RiGqbWU92gsfeCXraKGz6rbtBqFJrb9

clicking "Use them before Expiration!" does nothing.
