221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao II on: January 01, 2024, 05:54:36 PM
The upcoming boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is sure to be the talk of the town.  Many people will undoubtedly watch the fight because it excites them, and many more will watch TV only to see their favorite boxers face off. Given that they had already fought each other up and were both well-known boxers. Potentially, a Pacquiao vs. Mayweather rematch would offer an intriguing betting opportunity for us bettors. Even though it was only an exhibition fight, I think their abilities, experiences, and individual strategies would make for a fascinating and challenging matchup.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health concern on: January 01, 2024, 05:22:33 PM
Even if we gamble, it is doubtful that we would be aware of our health unless we were experiencing obvious symptoms. It should be highly essential that we are conscious of our general health and seek the advice of medical professionals in order to monitor any potential health issues with our bodies. Only then can we hope to prevent tragedies such as the one you described happening to your friend.
Your friend's excessive happiness likely caused him to get hypertension. Since he won a large sum of money in the casino, all of his emotions are mixed. However, we are not always aware of the passing of time; perhaps our excessive joy or sorrow is the cause of our sudden departure from this world.  Grin
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling game is not good and everyone should stay away from it on: January 01, 2024, 04:53:03 PM
Everyone knows it deep down yet the fact that most gamblers keep coming back is because they believe in that huge win that they may get in their next play session,so it is extremely difficult to change a gambler mind when he has seen a lot of people usually people who boast their winnings in chat, forums or even Youtube service.Of course people who are careful follow this advice, they stay without gambling as they know statistics and probability and they can make a few super simple calculations to stay away from gambling but this type of persons are very few compared to the majority which do not care what statistics say and they go ahead to play.
It is common knowledge that gambling can result in monetary losses, addiction, and negative effects on one's mental and emotional health. I believe that some decide not to gamble in order to shield themselves and the people they care about from these possible drawbacks. On the other hand, many gamblers continue to return for a variety of reasons, despite the dangers and losses connected with the game. They might already like it. The thrill of taking chances and the hope of success is what draw some people back, as well as their desire to experience the thrill.  and maybe, the reason why is that some gamblers attempted to pursue their losses, believing that by playing more, they could recover their losses. While it is utterly unrealistic, I agree that some gamblers often harbor the hope that their future luck will turn around and they will win bigger sums of money.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there long-term profitable sports bettors? on: January 01, 2024, 03:38:57 PM
I wanted to open a new discussion on this issue. I recently watched a video about gamblers. There was a presenter who helps gambling addicts get out of the dark streak in their lives. He worked in the bookmaking business for many years. He believes that there are no long-term profitable players in sports betting. This is impossible by definition. If you start to win often, the bookmaker company begins to cut your odds, either reduce your winnings or block your accounts. It's as if the bookmaker is telling you, "You're not here to get rich." The presenter claims that he does not know any profitable players over a period of several years. There are rumors that such players allegedly exist. But where are they and who saw them? What do you think? Are there profitable players in sports betting?
There are certain long-term profitable sports bettors who have achieved success by disciplines, techniques, and of course, efficient bankroll management, even though a majority of bettors may not be continuously profitable.  Of course, there are many more obstacles in your way if you want to succeed in achieving your goal. In order to be successful when you bet, you should become familiar with each player and the flow of the game, keeping in mind that sports betting is unexpected and that there are certain doubtful games where the games you are betting on are being cheated.

It's likely that the bookies will place restrictions on your winnings, particularly if you win big amounts of money on a regular basis. This could be done to protect their profits.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: January 01, 2024, 02:34:06 PM
Yes, in order to improve our odds of winning, I as a bettor frequently purchase extra tickets. In that way maybe I can raise my chances of winning by buying more than one ticket, which increases the number of combinations I can make in the draw. Nonetheless, it's equally critical to temper your expectations because there is very little chance of success. Even if you bought more tickets, it still depends on luck. Lotteries are meant to be unpredictable and random, and players usually have stacked the odds against them. I think, people tried purchasing more tickets in an attempt to improve their chances of winning, but in the end, some of them were not successful upon reaching their goal. Purchasing more tickets may therefore somewhat raise the chances of winning or dramatically alter the overall probability. I also try buying more tickets to increase my chances of winning but in the end result, I didn’t win. And I’ve got so disappointed so yeah.  I guess I should not do it because what is the difference it can make? None. I’m just wasting my money of becoming delusional.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Know, But Can i Invest In Bitcoin? on: January 01, 2024, 01:53:53 PM
I do know but maybe it may be difficult for a person to understand all this stuff if he or she hasn't operated the computer and the same goes for a non-technical uneducated person. Two things can happen if such a person decides to invest in Bitcoin, either he gives up thinking it's too difficult or he may lose his coins as he may not get proper understanding.  Undecided
Some parts of the country, particularly in my hometown, where many people are illiterate and don't have any knowledge of recent developments, do not have a high level of awareness about bitcoin. I recall talking to some acquaintances about work and other things one day when I abruptly started talking to them about bitcoin. They said it was new to them, so I gave them my knowledge of it, explaining that you could invest in it and that there are benefits, but you will need to be patient and aware of the risks.  It seems to me that they were not that interested because they preferred manual labor that allowed them to move around, like farming, fishing, or running a business.  It seems to me that they were not that interested because they preferred manual labor that allowed them to move around, like farming, fishing, or running a business.  So, I didn’t convince them at all.

If you're not keeping up with the latest technological advancements, you'll be left behind and may even increase your risk of falling victim to fraud. It is the drawbacks of not knowing anything about the investments you have made that might actually put your money at risk. You will then grow irrational and impatient to wait for your money to start making a profit.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 01, 2024, 06:54:55 AM
A gambling expert brought i and some friends a guaranteed predicted game and asked us to stake a a high amount so that we winning could be huge and so we can give him a percentage of the money at winning.

I don't believe there could be a 100% guaranteed game but yet my friends who are eager to make profits in the gambling accepted to play the gamed as instructed and at the end of it, they all loosed the game and at then, the rest of us were happy because we didn't play the game else we would had loosed as others.

I want to ask, do you believe in experts gambling predictions?

I personally don't trust those experts on gambling who predict the results of games because I know it's impossible to foretell and we should play it responsibly. Looking back, I can assure you that I will not repeat the experience of being instructed and following other streamer's advice on what to bet, how much to bet, and what game to bet on. In the end, I ran out of money from my budget. In my opinion, gambling involves either relying solely on luck or developing your own skills and strategizing on your own, independent of advice from others.

Financial losses may result, in my opinion, from depending exclusively on predictions or advice of self-described experts. However, whether or not you choose to believe and obey the advice of gambling experts is entirely up to you.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do casino owners benefit from creating multiple casinos? on: January 01, 2024, 06:31:59 AM
How does this practice contribute to their business? It seems illogical as it might increase operating expenses without an obvious benefit.

Gamblers, any thoughts on this?
I think that operating numerous casinos won't hurt their bottom line, in fact, it will benefit them even more by allowing them to share staff, systems, and resources across all of their locations. Plus, I believe the owners may be able to cut expenses and maybe boost efficiency.
When it comes to business, it can be challenging to manage a single casino. In the event of a failure, consumers will inevitably seek for another establishment that captures their interest. It's critical to have excellent customer service and strategy, which is what those casino owners aimed to do. By doing so, they were able to see what other customers enjoyed, which was similar to providing them with the thrill and excitement they desired.

Currently there are several casinos or gambling platforms with one owner and their aim is to make the scope of competitors narrower in order to achieve quite large profits. Its trick or strategies business from casino owner have multiple casino operation and make the gambler when tired with one side casino will move to other casino but still the same owner  just change name, game play or other unique feature between one casino and the other casino.
The same strategies between real business and casino benefit by the owner when creating multiples casino, they will earn much profitable exactly two until five casino with the same owner have been popular and every years the user active up drastically. I don't think the owner of casino will be enough earn profitable from their business with one casino site only.
Indeed, owners can access greater numbers of customers and increase revenue by running many casinos. I think that every casino has the potential to attract different kinds of customers, and the total revenue from several locations can be very high.
Additionally, by running several casinos under one ownership, they can target different locations, population growth, and even niche markets, minimizing their reliance on the success or failure of a single casino.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Must you lose before you gain in Bitcoin investment? on: January 01, 2024, 05:03:51 AM
Questions like this has popped out in several occasions and arguments concerning Bitcoin investment. My friends will say you must lose before you gain or rather have more experience investing in Bitcoin. If its how it work, Bitcoin isn't for a low income earner as well as not gonna make you rich when you can't invest something tangible to it. On the other hand people are been made big and wealthy in same program. What does it in tell, cos am quite sure people had already known what's going to happen in the market in the nearest future to give them the strong mindset to invest porously. My biggest fear is losing my hard earn to something as volatile, vulnerable and uncertain as btc. What's the possibility you invest without losing. Is it guaranteed in this kinda market?
No, I don't think investing in bitcoin has to include losing money before making money. The value of Bitcoin can fluctuate, just like the value of any other investment, and it is common for us as investors to experience gains or losses based on a variety of factors like supply and demand, market conditions, and changes in regulations.

We are all aware of how volatile bitcoin can be and how quickly its value can fluctuate. Because of this, it is important that we study the market, pick up some strategies, and determine whether now is the right time for us to invest in bitcoin. We must pay attention to how it flows and refrain from making snap decisions based on temporary market swings that we might come to regret.
For me, bitcoin is also the best option if we plan to invest in it for the long term, that is, if we have the patience to wait for the market to reach the goal we have set.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Connecting to Public Wifi on: January 01, 2024, 03:46:41 AM
Since every online casino has its own set of guidelines, I believe the choice eventually relies upon the operator of the casino. There's a risk that hackers will try to intercept our data when we use public Wi-Fi because it's frequently unsecured. We never know when we might be shocked to learn that an unauthorized transaction occurred in our account without our knowledge.  If that is the case, we are about to be facing a major problem. In addition, certain online casinos have strict rules on using public Wi-Fi and if they find out that you have connected to an unprotected network, they may suspend your account.

If I were to play an online casino when I'm not at home, I would personally prefer to use mobile data. My personal information is safe and secure, and I feel more comfortable playing at that point.
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the perception of people about gamblers in your neighborhood? on: December 31, 2023, 06:45:55 PM
You can see gambling everywhere in my country, whether it's indoors or outdoors.   But there is an opinion among the people around you that once you start a habit of gambling, there are 2 possible outcomes that will come to your life. Ethier, you will be successful if you win big, like in the lottery, which is one of the most well-liked bets in our nation. If you win, you can potentially win millions of dollars, which you can use to launch a business.  Or nevertheless, some would say that if you gamble and lose a lot of money, it's because you have an addiction to gambling and will be influenced by alcohol, and in the end, you will be the one who will suffer, and your family as well.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your New Year's resolution? on: December 31, 2023, 05:29:59 PM
Since I occasionally run out of luck when I gamble, this year's new year's resolution is to be able to understand more about the games I play. When I gamble, I usually discipline myself to not lose too much and to only wager with the money I can afford to lose, therefore I would like to be more responsible than I already am.
Sometimes, when I stress myself out, I feel sorry for myself because I always overthink things to the point that my head hurts and I get feeling dizzy.
That is the reason I want to focus on self-care this year, take a break, go on vacation, and engage in other interesting and relaxing activities.

To be honest, I enjoy the entertainment value, the social interactions, and the thrill of the game that comes with gambling. Despite of the result, I could boost my overall enjoyment of gambling by keeping a good outlook and having fun during the process.
233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: December 31, 2023, 05:08:56 PM
I don't think that the bible forbids gambling, and as a Christian with many friends, some of them enjoy it. Except in cases where you commit a grave error, such as holding anger toward someone as you gamble and even consider killing them, being able to steal money from your fellow citizens can be a grave mistake. You will as a result bear a heavy price and be required to pay it back forever.

My Muslim buddy told me that anything that could be harmful to the body is regarded as Haram. I have encountered Muslims in my country who seek fair trade and honest employment. For this reason, they do not gamble, instead, fishing is their primary source of income. However, I have also witnessed other people who, despite the fact that it is against their faith, continue to engage in prohibited behavior. One tactic they use to avoid being discovered by other Muslims is to travel to areas with a large number of Christians who reside in that area and no Muslim neighbors. That way, they can then do as they like, including drinking and, of course, gambling.

Religion, in my opinion, may help us understand the kind of people we are since it serves as our means of discipline.
234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich, average or poor. Who loses more? on: December 30, 2023, 01:19:12 PM
The people who lose the most are the people who don't control themselves when gambling. Even though he is rich, if he cannot control himself, he can lose all his deposit money, which is more than poor people. Likewise, poor people gamble with only enough money. This poor person's loss means a loss that causes him to lose all his money, which cannot be recovered because he no longer has any money.
I agree that losing is the same regardless of wealth, average income, or even poor, if we lack self-control and are unsure of how much to wager when gambling, we are a loser.

Is this not contradictory? I am not rich and I gamble and lose more. The same story by many rich people. People said you can not win the house. If more people are registered on a casino or a bookie site, the owner of the site will be happy. Because they know they will have more workers and be able to pay them as they will earn more. If you deposit huge amount, the more the happiness because the house would win at last. This is not about rich or poor. And this only shows more that the rich are likely to lose more.
It's also true that the house usually prevails, so how can we defeat them?  Unless, of course, you are exceptionally skilled and fortunate to have had good fortune on your side. In that case, you are truly lucky. The people who run the casino or own it are more experienced than us and are familiar with every aspect of the game, including how it plays. It's as though our money represents their happiness and we are just their toys. Once we fall into their trap, it's time to return and play in their casinos as we have become used to gambling and are unable to refuse their offers.

Additionally, it is not contradictory in the slightest. After all, we cannot evaluate those who quote from that forum because we all have various viewpoints and the majority of them are simply subjective. Though they don't really have a source to display, they primarily base their stories on their own experiences, which is how they share them with the majority. As such, there is no right or wrong in what they say.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The frustrations in loosing a huge bet when your winning was so assured. on: December 30, 2023, 10:09:57 AM
To those who considers making profits a priority in gambling, I have come to observe that it is much more frustrating when you looses your game at when the game was almost over and you were on the safer side (winning) and just a few minute or seconds before the game is over it ended up at your lost.
I come to understand that it is more worrisome when the sure winning opportunities was so huge and got lost lately closed to the end time of the game.
It seems to me that everyone on this forum has the same reactions, such as disappointment and frustration when they come across a situation similar to that, regardless of how we were hoping to win but ultimately lost the game. Especially when we have great expectations or if quite a bit of our money and time were invested in it.

That's why I normally take a big breath and unwind for a little if I come across these kinds of situations. Take a short walk outside and breathe some fresh air to help me relieve some of the anguish I was feeling. You constantly think you are so close to winning, but then all of a sudden, your world falls apart, and I find it to be really unfair. I know that gambling can be unpredictable at times, but here I am in my delusional phase, believing I could control time only to be defeated in the end. So, lesson learned is that it's important to learn not to set unrealistic expectations so you won't suffer too much from the result, whatever it may be.
236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: December 30, 2023, 09:27:08 AM
I always hear stories of friends who always lose playing online gambling. I don't know what his purpose to tell his story to me. even it's clear, his story makes him look stupid.

Besides that, in another place, Many young people around to me still play slot gambling even don't have a job and always lose. I wonder where they get the money for deposits? and why they repeat that?. I don't know what the reason reason that doesn't bother them, they should have given up, and changed the game that makes them profitable. if I always lose in the game, I will change the type of game, example If I always lose on a slot, I will change the type of game like sports betting until my capital is back and try the luck again to the slot.
Well, people may continually play gambling even if they constantly lose for some reasons. One possibility is that they see it as a kind of entertainment and love the rush and adrenaline it brings, regardless of the result. Some people may believe that chance would eventually work in their favor, and their desire to win may have inspired them to keep playing even in the unlikely event that it does. It's also possible that they were using it as a means of momentarily escaping reality and a tool to reduce stress.

Or perhaps it was just that they were addicted to it. As you mentioned, some of them continue to gamble despite experiencing numerous losses. They need counsel, in my opinion, to either quit what they were doing or cut back on their gaming. Because if they are young, the people in the area around them may be able to advise them before things get worse. However, I wonder if their parents or relatives are aware of these? If that's the case, they certainly don't give advice to their kids because they do this all the time, and I'm sure someone can see what they're doing.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: December 30, 2023, 08:57:55 AM
Be honest with yourself and vote on the poll on What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling?
I don't think I can answer your question in the poll, because there is no simple answer.  Gambling makes people feel all kinds of ways - excited when you win, frustrated when you lose, disappointed if you don't win as much as you hoped, even guilty or ashamed about spending so much time and money.  If gambling leaves you with bad feelings afterwards don't ignore them - let yourself feel whatever comes up.
Indeed, there is no definite answer to this because the feelings will vary depending on our situation. We must be happy because we have won. If we lose, we will be sad, disappointed, and frustrated. And when we lose, we will be curious and try to continue gambling, perhaps on the same day or another day. There will be a desire to return to gambling at another time, which might trigger a desire to recover from those losses. But some people don't think about the results because they don't expect much from gambling and just want to gamble.
This is true, and we are less likely to become frustrated or angry if we don't win big at gambling when we don't have high expectations of it. We are free to enjoy the experience without feeling under pressure to succeed by not putting too much weight on the result. By maintaining a balance in our attitudes, this type of mindset, in my opinion, can help us approach gaming in a more laid-back manner, manage our emotions and ourselves, and lower our chance of being addicted to gambling.
That is why, I never consider gambling to be a dependable source of income instead, I just see it as a kind of entertainment. A realistic mindset would remind us to keep in mind that there is no guarantee that you will survive if you merely gamble. due to my observations of other people, who occasionally get so dependent on gambling that they are unable to manage their own finances or their own personal situations. I of course learned to manage my bankroll, but I also bet sensibly because those are the situations I want to stay away from, and I don't want to be like them in the future.
238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: License: is it a guarantee? on: December 29, 2023, 03:25:58 PM
Almost every gamblers notably those that make use of online Casino's for their gambling have the notion that except from a license owned casino they don't use any  casino without a license, which I think is a cautious thing to do.

But have been wondering and wanting to ask, does a license guarantees that a casino won't scam it's customer's going forward.
In my opinion, if a casino has a license of course you can say that it is legit and can add and provide some level of assurance and its credibility and you can really see as it shows that the casino has met the standards and requirements. However, it does not ensure that a licensed casino will not defraud its customers.  It is reasonable, for example, that a licensed casino may manipulate the game, changing the random number generator or the odds, to give players a small chance of winning. There is also a chance that there could be delays or that they won't give players their prizes without good reason, such as claiming technical difficulties or that you've broken the rules, etc., which will be extremely stressful.

I also think that another reason why the reputation of a licensed casino is destroyed is because of the people who manage it, like changes of ownership or the employees who manage that casino because they were more likely to do some frauds and lapses.
Because of this, it is essential that we, as players, investigate and validate the site's trustworthiness by reading reviews and researching the reputation of that particular casino in order to reduce the possibility of becoming victims of frauds.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: December 29, 2023, 02:02:19 PM
I tend to love the thrill of the moment more than the outcome, as I don't gamble much, and I don't do it often enough to care if I win or lose.  If you know how to control your emotions and gamble sensibly, I believe that gambling may be an enjoyable leisure activity. If I win, I can determine whether my skills are becoming better, whether the skill I'm using is effective, or whether it was just luck. To be honest, I also feel a little relieved and satisfied with the outcome and that is when I win. However, there is also a part of me that feels regret and disappointed if I lose the game, especially if I bet a significant amount of money. Fortunately, though, I learned to restrain my emotions and refrained from chasing losses.

In the end, however, what matters most is that I enjoy myself while still having the opportunity to benefit (assuming I don't lose) Cheesy and gain knowledge of and experience with how gambling works.  Gambling is giving you mixed emotions and sometimes can drive you crazy.
In my opinion, the feelings we experience after we finish gambling depend on our individual preferences, expectations, and past experiences.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 29, 2023, 11:52:01 AM
back to the topic. that whatever happens that is broadcast by streamer is not all true and not everyone can have the same luck and anyone who watches streamer uses any strategy or pattern, just think of it as not a way to win or increase your chances of winning, but just think of it as management strategy budget so it doesn't run out quickly.

Hmm, I doubt these streamers are not playing for real. They are playing with their true money as not all streamers are being partnered with a gambling site. Most gambling streamers are playing at different casinos as part of the content. Besides, they seem to be lucky at most times because they have a large bankroll. The larger the bankroll, the more chances of winning especially in playing slots.

These streamers are capable of having such a large bankroll because streaming is their investment. They are being paid for their stream by the platform.
Only a few or there might be those streamers but most of them would really be that sponsored or being funded. There's no way that they would be spending their own personal money just to
market some company exposure. They would never do that, everything would really comes on being paid and they wont really be doing service for free.
So those funds are really that being sponsored by the casino or company itself and they are being paid just to do such exposure or marketing on which it is really
just that normal that they wont really be caring about on the players or viewers who would really be deciding for you to be followed.
Sadly, it's true that some online casinos pay streamers to advertise their platforms as part of a marketing campaign to draw in more players and increase their customer base, even if the reliability of the casino isn't entirely verified.  This can be problematic since it could encourage the marketing of fraudulent or possibly illegal gaming websites. Because they have been made blind by money, streamers don't give a damn about those who follow them and are actually attempting to play of what they are promoting as long as they make money from it.
