1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 14, 2021, 04:15:26 PM
Anyhow, he has a big task on hand in Murata, the Japanese is also a very tough fighter. So hopefully we can watch and enjoy this fight.

But I'm still picking GGG to win maybe by decision or knock out if he can still pull the trigger.
This will be a close match, GGG is a veteran fighter who's still in his prime while the Japanese pride Murata is also an average fighter who defeats opponent with better experience and skills. Looks like we're gonna enjoy this fight, and this time GGG is in the reach disavantage agains the Japanese boxer.
I'm not gonna pick which I'd bet for now, this Japanese fighter named Murata is new to my ears and I'd research his history for now. And as of GGG, I have no doubts for him but we'll see.
It's been almost a year to since we saw GGG fought, his last match is a win against Kamil Szeremeta, but this match is also a must watch and yes it will be a close fight because Murata is also a tough fighter who defeats boxers with a much more higher experience than him. Although GGG is at the reach advantage in this match, I still believe tha he'll win against the Japanese Pride. I did some research on Murata's recent matches and I can say that GGG will have this one.

Hopefully we can see a trilogy against Canelo, if GGG could actually make this match.
1103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are crypto owners naturally paranoid? on: November 14, 2021, 02:38:05 PM
You will become paranoid if you trust your bitcoins to an exchange. Just try it, but it doesn't have to be a small amount. Above there was already a very competent answer, are you ready to trust your money to someone if there are good ways to store it?
The only thing you need is knowledge of storing your passwords. There is a good proverb: "if you want to do well, do it yourself." There is nothing better than to rely on and always trust only yourself.
Yes, exactly! Why do you trust others to hold your funds when you yourself can do exactly the same thing or more safer and secured. It's okay to let those coins rest on an exchange platform but make sure you're ready to lose it or better yet no more than $2,000. Also, keep your passwords, seed phrases or recovery phrases and keys on hardcopy and not on softcopy to prevent from any other malicious intent. It's more safer when you yourself is the one who knows what is it and where is it. Being paranoid is quite okay because that's when you find answers to your questions on where to keep it safe.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best ways to invest money? on: November 14, 2021, 11:21:05 AM
Being here in crypto industry is already a way to make profit, we aren't here to lose, we're here to gain towards riches. This ain't Vegas!
I'm currently investing and holding bitcoins and ethereum, planning to hold as much as I could and sell it in early 2023. I just sold my coins recently to gain profits from the recent bull run. So now, I'm holding again and reap it on the said timeline. Other than holding, I'm also a weekly trader aside from my main job. I trade to maximize my profits as much as possible and the profits will be sold to pay bills, foods and necessary needs for everyday living, excess funds will go to savings.
1105  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs. Bitcoin on: November 14, 2021, 08:54:24 AM
I don't think that the real estate are declining, it may decline depends on the place wether if it's urban or rural or it may vary to some countries but surely here in our country the real estate aren't declining.
Bitcoin and real estate do have some similarities like it can be used as an investment and can guard you against inflation especially in our times. But for my opinion, I prefer to invest most in bitcoin for various reasons like I can work at my place or wherever I wanted to, and the time and effort doesn't concern me much whereas real estate, it needs time and effort to visit places to allow personal details on selling it. But both can be worked online but I prefer more bitcoin.
1106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one can continue ignoring Bitcoin on: November 14, 2021, 07:31:20 AM
The funny thing is, all of my mates who used to ignore and make fun of Bitcoin whenever I mention it back then, is now holding their own bitcoins, if they only believed in what I was saying, they could have easily gained profit from a 4-year investment.

No one will really ignore Bitcoin as Bitcoin continues to rise not only value-wise but through popularity as well.

Same here, when bitcoin was introduced to me by a fellow officemate. I introduced it also to my close friends for us to invest and gain together, sadly the I'm the only who took the effort to ride the rocky road of bitcoin few years ago, and now just recently this year they're just starting their own bitcoin journey becasue they now believed it due to being popular in any platforms.
I guess it's normal for people not to believe bitcoin because it might be another schem so they're not even interested to listen in the first place but now, when bitcoin is so popular and famous throughout the world, people are now reaching towards bitcoin hoping to gain profit just like the people who took the courage to believe in bitcoin few years back.
1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 14, 2021, 06:20:04 AM

Great, Lomachenko is back again for another fight this year. I thought he will rest until the end of this year after winning against Nakatani. So, I would say they are both getting ready to get revenge since they are both defeated against Lopez in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
But before that fight will happen, one of them should be held winner to advance and get revenge against Teofimo Lopez.

RC Commey has the height and reach advantage and yes a decent fighter too,  but on this match I don't think that he can beat Loma's timing techniques, speed and strength. Sadly, Commey will just be a stepping stone for Loma since Loma is really looking forward revenge his defeat against Lopez.

Loma certainly has the edge here, in fact, AFAIR, there's no fight of his that he was an underdog, he always gets listed as the favorite to win, just like this fight. After he lose against Teofimo Lopez, I'm sure he trained harder to continue achieving his dream, and maybe one day he would become an undisputed champion in his division like Canelo had recently achieved.

Yup, Lomachenko is indeed a crowd favorite and @Finestream is right, Commey will just be probably a stepping stone for Loma to advance and can have a rematch against Lopez after this since Loma can't forget that he underwent a shoulder surgery after that fight and lose via unanimous decision.
But we'll see how Loma will fight this December 11 after that said surgery, hopefully he's fully recovered now and can fight again well.
1108  Economy / Economics / Re: Big money after "sustainability" on: November 12, 2021, 04:56:23 PM
Bitcoin mining or other crypto mining does have negative effects on our ecosystem because it generates more electrical waste (e-waste) especially when bitcoin nowadays generates more e-waste to solve a block because it's already becoming harder as of today. That is if the electricity consumption comes a powerplant, but what if that the consumers (miners) uses solar powered panels then it doesn't do harm on our ecosystem. Ofcourse, miners nowadays have already invested in solar powers to lower their electricity bill and to reduce carbon emissions from power plants.
In the same sense, miners is relatively small producers to greenhouse-gases compared to other factories that actually burns coal or fossil fuels to eventually generate energy to produce electricity or other similar results.

Bitcoin or other crypto miners are the least problem to deal with, they should start in big companies or factories rather than miners.
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin you hold for Next Bull Run on: November 12, 2021, 10:15:23 AM
Today 15 October, Bitcoin crossed 59000 usdt and we are waiting for Next Bull market, and all Buyer already fill his bag with Altcoin. I want to know that share your best Altcoin that you hold for Next Bull market.

The Real Bull run will start when Bitcoin breaks ATH and stays there for sometime and Bitcoin Dominance comes down, the Alt coins Rally will trigger at that point. My holding is ETH, ADA, DOT, SOLANA and LUNA. I am quite optimistic that most will outperform and even break their previous ATH. Keep watching and waiting until that pleasant moment starts and a big party begins.
I think we're still in the bull run, and bitcoin breaks its own record during the 1st week of November and it's been quite a ride until today. Personally, I've been watching the performances of the one's I'm holding namely Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot and Shiba Inu, aside from bitcoin also. Those coins I've mentioned are indeed the ones that keeps me optimisitc most of the time and I know that their time will come, I have so much trust in them  Grin
1110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: November 12, 2021, 08:45:37 AM
alot of people really want to hold but the daily needs of life make them sell off at little profit and solve their needs which is really good. but later they notice the coin they sold cheap is worth enough to liberate them. this kind of occurences are painful but its really not his fault. this brings me to the question of maybe holding is for the rich who can afford to buy and forget. ? lets discuss this, thank you.
It's true that we somehow often take a little part of our funds for necessary needs for everyday living, and there's nothing we can do about it even if it is painful to do, but we ain't have a choice either because we got to put food on our table to survive. This happenings in life is certainly way beyond out of our control but still we should give it thanks because we have what others didn't have, and it is certainly adviceable to invest in 2-3 different options to have a passive income as much as possible to avoid unnecessary withdrawal from our funds and we should take it seriously because that commitment will get us to comfortable life, not just for us but for our family also.
That specific mindset that tells "Holding is for this rich who can afford to buy and forget" , that specific mindset wouldn't get us to anywhere we want. Break the cycle my friend  Wink
1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: November 12, 2021, 07:58:51 AM
I suppose your bitcoin will be good as lost forever and out of circulation if we were going to die today, as you said it's so private and embedded with security details and password or recovery phrase that only us know and ofcourse we don't share it even with our own family and we can't know for sure when is the day we're going to die.
There's also no security details that stated if you're going to die, your next of kin or someone will going to have it. So, to prevent your bitcoin going to waste, you're going to tell them and let them know your passwords and recovery phrases in your wallet incase there's an emergency or urgent needs, also let them know how to use it because chances are they don't know how to convert or withdraw it in-exchange to fiat or even transfer it to other wallet. But the challenge is, if you did managed to tell them before you pass out.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: November 12, 2021, 06:53:29 AM
For the promotion, again a full one month could have been enough for this fight. And the one handling this fight have many experience in promoting a fight so I don't think this will be a problem.
Donaire's fight is not hard to promote, but this fight is between both Filipinos and I think they'll get little audience compared to Donaire fighting another race like Mexicans or Americans, but still I'm hopeful the promoters will be able to make it a profitable fight.

True, and no offense to Reymart, he is no name as compare to Donaire and even if he won against Rodriguez, boxing fans are not familiar with him. Even to some Filipinos, he is relatively unknown, if not for the fight against Rodriguez, he will still be under the shadows of most well known Filipino bantamweight champions such as Casimero and Donaire. But it good that there are also other Filipinos in this division, like Jonas Sultan who recently won. At least we can say that the Filipinos are dominating this weight class.

Yes it's quite true that Gaballo isn't too famous in the Philippines because there is a lot of other boxers that are even stronger than him like the ones who are keeping themselves in the Bantamweight division. But Gaballo's boxing record is not easy to achieve (24-0) 20 of that is via knockout, that's why he's now matching with Nonito Donaire who is famous and if ever Gaballo would win against Nonito, and I know that eventually that Nonito will be just a stepping-stone for Gaballo and it could be the start of his fame and he will be known throughout boxing industry.
1113  Economy / Economics / Re: China - everything is fine! But everything is bad ... on: November 11, 2021, 03:18:12 PM
Quote
And, the further, the more difficult it will be for China to follow the achievements of the Western world, because capital has to move on its own, if not it is not capital, but the party moves. "

I disagree with that.China has very good intelligence and awesome hackers. The Chinese are very good at stealing technology from the west,so I don't think that it would be difficult for China to follow the achievements of the Western world.
China has accumulated lots of capital and it will accumulate even more in the future.A part of this capital might run away from China, but there's still lot's of it.
The CCP will keep it's power and authority in the future decades.I'm not a fan of the Chinese Communist Party, but we can't deny the fact that China turned from a third world country into a global economic powerhouse for about 30 years.

And that my friend is why China was once called "The Sleeping Giant". Yes, indeed they were once a large poor country who often gets bullied by other neighbouring countries like Japan but look at them now they're one of the superpower countries with a high technology, and huge defense capabilites that is arguably front the western countries.
So, China is now standing tall against other countries and declared some law that no ever international court ruling could make their law obsolete. That's why CPP is a somehow a treat even to their own citizens because they are the law but we can't deny the fact the CPP is one of the reasons why China is one of the largest economy in the world.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: November 11, 2021, 09:51:55 AM
Please guys help me suggest coins to buy. I’m a student and I don’t really know much about crypto but I need the money for financial freedom and help my dad cover some of my school costs. Please guys.
There are lots of altcoins you can buy on the $200 you have, ETH is one the be suggested but Ill think it too late now because of these ETH are in high price situation maybe you can buy some other altcoins has a dip price right now and hold it until the price is moving high. But be careful of what altcoins you choose because there some altcoins are so long to rise price or become dead in no time. And I will suggest must pick the top altcoins, Actually you can seen them in any market or in CMC.

Don't discourge him to buy ethereum because it can be bought partially and not the whole coin, he/she have the freedom to choose just please give him/her choice what altcoins is the best for now because he/she needs some money to cover her school. It's not like you can advice to hold and wait for the fruit to loom. Just saying  Cheesy
Anyways OP, I suggest you to make some research too for you to know what suits you the best and that budget you allocated, $200 maybe big or small depending which altcoin you choose to invest.
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: November 10, 2021, 06:15:25 PM
Did this tweet alone spur the 4% pump up in the bitcoin price when it was released?

He is definitely looking to do something in retaliation to the government stating they wish to tax the rich.
So he is looking for a outlet so to avoid doing so in curtailing the sell-off of his own companies stocks and putting it into bitcoin.
I hate to admit the fact that Elon really makes this market a place circling his funds and assets , though I hate to believe that there is a chance that this tweet again makes the increase of Bitcoin price yet most of the currency he will going to mentioned makes always an increase(depend on what kind of statements either negative or positive) but the reality speaks that Elon is one big part of cryptocurrency , His popularity always affects the movement of this market.
anyway thanks for the heads up as i was still searching for the possible reason why we have made another ATH now and here you go bringing it here.

Same here, I hate the fact that with his bright mind he knows how to give a positive or negative impact on bitcoin's market, knows how to manipulate just with his simple tweet or statement just because he is a famous business man. But at the sametime, it made me realize to watch him closely about his statements about cryto-related stuffs so that I will know what move will I make to avoid losses and gain profits. Let's just accept the fact that he's making it to profit himself more and there's nothing we can do about it.
That tweet he did made the price upwards until now, so maybe we'll hit another ATH before this year ends.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 10, 2021, 04:27:01 PM
Those 6 guys who voted for Logan, what was your opinion based on? Cheesy On a lucky punch? Or you hope that Mike will run out of stamina faster than Logan?

I think this fight will end with a draw. The idea of this fight is to entertain, to show what boxing is, to show a living legend on a ring, to show a popular blogger. But not to get someone knockout cold.

However, having a loss from Mike Tyson in a boxing record also is valuable Smiley You can tell grandsons that you have fought against a legendary Tyson, but lost in a close fight Cheesy

Maybe those 6 guys who voted Logan Paul are just tripping because we all know that chances are it'll going to be a split-decision in favor to the living legend Mike Tyson. For sure, there's no single lucky punch coming from Logan to knock Tyson out and we know that's not the idea of this match, it is pure entertainment only.

Nope as I said, this won't going to end via draw. Instead, this will be a tribute to the legend Mike Tyson so he's definitely going to win this match, I reckon.

Yes, indeed Logan Paul is very priveleged and honored to be able to fight Mike Tyson even in an exhibition match and that is a story to tell and to share proudly to his kids and grandkids. Sadly, this match will be another loss to Paul, adding to his record.
1117  Economy / Economics / Re: What books do you recommend for economics? on: November 10, 2021, 09:29:57 AM
I just want to ask you all what books do you read for economics?

I for one doesn't invest in books or read books physically because it's so quite expensive these days either in local bookstore or buy the books online. I usually search and read it in google or watch it in Youtube because it's usually free and no charge. It's the advantage of the internet nowadays so why not take advantage of it.  Cheesy

But if you're looking for some physical books for you to read about economics, I can recommend some that I found on the internet if you need. Happy to help!

1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul on: November 10, 2021, 06:07:55 AM
Let see how it goes , I know Tommy furry as a young talented boxer who has been unbeatable. This fight is a long awaiting fight
The both fighters have been challenging  each other . After December 18th we will all know the real champion will be.

This match's result is actually unpredictable because Jake Paul is also undefeated and has a good record as well. Tommy Fury has been consistent and most of us are familiar with how he handled his previous matches. It will surely be an exciting match and I hope that they would make it unforgettable.

Well, Jake is much more talented in this industry and he did strive hard for his record to be clean, rather than his older brother Logan who just wants spotlights and exhibition fights with no talent.
Jake Paul has the ability and strength to fight Tommy Fury, but I don't think that Jake can handle Tommy in this match well because Tommy is much more experienced in this industry than the novice opponent. But we'll see, it's not too late for Jake.

Somehow, you have a point that we need to break the cycle to be able to catch up with the time. We know that world changes drastically, we need to have a projection what to do for us to survive this harsh world, yes sitting in a 9am to 5pm job isn't gonna be enough because you're working to make your boss get richer while you make less. School didn't teach us the proper lesson about the world but instead gaves us wrong idea what to do, like go to school and work after graduate to have some few savings after retirement it's like forgetting the life we should have.

Those listed work or skills in the above are true as of todays generation, but we know for sure that in the future some of those jobs aren't gonna be the same like today or worse it'll be obsolete. Also, those skills stated above aren't just acquired or learned in the internet, you have to go to some academies or universities to make them teach you about that knowledge.
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China is thinking about unbanning bitcoin mining after price rise on: November 09, 2021, 08:54:50 AM
I am not sure that China will take such a big decision so soon. It’s banned story is still too fresh.
It really isn't that fresh. China has been cracking down on bitcoin miners (and others involving bitcoin such as traders) for a very long time which is actually the source of almost all the FUD we have heard through the years.
Whether or not they are going to regulate bitcoin mining is a different thing and I wouldn't take any news I read seriously until either they regulate it or someone from China can explain it to us.
I also read the article that was posted by OP, it seems that the author of the said article was just guessing about China's unbanning mining or other crypto-related transactions just to reclaim its position that was filled by USA's miners and it's not valid or solid enough to know that China is indeed planning to unban.
Same here @pooya87, I will know if it's true if the government of China itself will release a news regarding of unbanning bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.
