Lebron doesn't want to carry this team anymore, it just doesn't make sense for him to fight this hard during the regular season, he should be relaxing a bit because he is getting older.
Rumor has it that he's one of the main reason why they sold many of their young cores just so he could get a team of experienced or veteran players. I don't think that's unfounded. He probably thought him, AD and another "superstar" like Westbrook is enough to compete in the league. Lakers took the league lightly and look where they are now. That's a risk they got. There are reports that prior to the NBA season, Westbrook told the Lakers that he will allow be a backup for Lebron and Davis. Actually, he's trying his best but I don't know why he is struggling. It's just that maybe he isn't ready yet as a backup on which it's not his usual gameplay? He is a main scorer on his previous teams and switching to different role might really be a big adjustment that's not easy to do by Westbrook. That might be the situation that he ain't ready to be back up for AD and LBJ because he's used being in command of the team. Still I doubt why he's performing like these, even his usual turnovers can't be seen now. They really got a bad trade, they let their key players go for Westbrook. Unfortunately, the Lakers didn't got what they want and expected, instead they became a joke in the league for being a superteam that doesn't really work out. Curry is out for the Warriors and suddenly they're +4.5 underdog vs the Timberwolves, although Klay just got back but I think he's capable of leading the team as well, and there are other guys who can shoot the ball extremely well for the Warriors, I'll definitely be keeping a close tab on this.

No Green and Curry for the Warriors, that's a big blow for the team, they'll likely lose in this game. The Lakers lost by 37 points, and I would even say they were destroyed by the Nuggets. LeBron scored 25 points, Westbrook scored 19 points and had 0 turnovers, and even Howard played in the starting lineup. However, it doesn't matter since Jokic made a triple-double in this match, and the Lakers couldn't handle him.
Actually, I think the Lakers needed a beatdown by 50. you know, they were just standing in the defense, no spirit at all. If you look, they had Frank Vogel, the best coach, But now it wasn't enough. The match was really frustrating to watch as a Lakers fan. It was almost like LeBron James vs the Nuggets match. On the other hand, Nuggets had 32 assists against 21 of Lakes. It really shows the team effort. Lakers are always exposed every time they play a good team or a playoff team. Sometimes they'll have some winning streak but only against a weaker team and we should not be misled by what they show because they are as a team are messing up this season. It's hard for the Lakers to win without Davis, that's the reality because Lebron James even with his consistency could not make this team better. Their plays are very predictable because not everyone is contributing, that's why the Nuggets easily dominated them. Anyways, seasons are not over yet and as long as there's still time, there's still a chance to improve. There's still time but I do hope they'll use that to improve their chemistry as they really lack in almost every aspect, they don't have a choice but to improve their defense and offensive strategy because Davis ain't still available, Westbrook tho was really a bad trade. Well, the Lakers now is in a tight spot and it certainly looks like the Clippers are getting ready to go and take the 7th spot. Let's see how would they work things out against the Jazz tomorrow. |

I guess the PBA should be aware that the MPBL is improving, if they'll not improve then probably one day they'll be surprised that MPBL will be the top basketball league in the Philippines. It doesn't matter if PBA is controlled by the reach persons in the Philippines, what matters is what league the fans will support.
As long as the top teams are there, SMC and MVP teams, they're not going to be alarmed. They don't listen to their fans and they'll just keep going on no matter what the threat is within the league. We're really going to see the new leagues going up as MPBL became now a pro league, the players have a lot of place to go aside from going abroad with B League, there's now the MPBL and AFAIK, there's also the Filbasket but it's still quite new. PBA won't really last that long given the fact that they're more interested in making money rather than hearing what the teams/players needs and the fans voices, also PBA is obviously deteriorating inside and out and surely they can't deny that fact, that's why there's lots of other competitors now emerges like MPBL and FilBasket with hopes that they can give more chance to the talented local people who aspires to be a basketball star and play in the professional leagues. |

It is normal if the name of Canelo surfaces every time the name GGG is talked about. That is expected because they have an unfinished business. They both are involved in a fierce rivalry. Not to mention that the results of their two fights were all controversial. When they had their first fight, both of them claimed victory despite the split decision draw that was made official. The second fight, Canelo won but still very controversial because many believed GGG won. That's why there is a strong demand for a trilogy to seal the controversy once and for all.
But of course they will have to finish their other business first like this Murata fight for GGG.
If they'll hear the fans and they want to make money, then for sure they'll fight, or Canelo will give GGG a chance to fight with him before he will officially retire. GGG is going 40 years old this year, which is near retirement age. Hope that would happen this year, otherwise, we should not expect anymore. How loud should the boxing fans be so that they will both hear them? I guess it is clear enough that the demand of the fans is for them to face once more and seal the score between them. Agree with you, at least Donaire is a real champion who is not afraid of losing, unlike other fighters who are just making sure they will not lose and because of that they will just choose to fight a fighter that they are certain they can dominate. Investors are also hodlers too, though they are actively engaged in trading in the markets, but they still keep some coins from the circulation similar to what hodlers do. So far looking good, the game is currently close. Both teams are just doing some fueling up currently in the first quarter. But beforehand, it's risky to place a bet at the Warriors providing they are missing some of their key players. On the other hand, the main starters of the Chicago Bulls are playing almost completely as even Caruso is out, it's not that they are at disadvantage. Edit: The Warriors defeated the Chicago Bulls 138-96. Zach Lavine got injured and only played 4 minutes. The Warriors bench heavily contributed to that game. Yeah, it was a major blow out for the Bulls as they've lost Zach Lavine, and obviously, he didn't score any points. And then the Warriors up their tempo and defense. All the Warriors that played score at least a point or two in this game. Hopefully Zach can go back quickly with the Bulls, they needed him. For me he is still the leader of the Chicago and not DeRozan although they compliment each other. Zach Lavine could really contribute well in the game today if it's not because of his knee injury that he committed an intentional foul to exit the game formally. He really need to rest and come back quick because the Bulls needs his instincts and assists. But the Warriors did really bounced back after they lost twice in a row, I highly commend their bench players because this team is one of the perfect examples as they didn't rely on their starplayers. Kuminga, Poole and Wiggins really drilled some scores there and buried the Bulls as they made 41 points in the 2nd quarter alone. |

I remember these scenario, looks like big companies are trying to manipulate the whole PBA system, and as you can see some teams are sister company in reality, they really want to monopolize the system and yet, PBA also wants this since there's money on that.
Since big companies that are already in the PBA are having a good set of players, these teams are some of the big reasons why PBA is getting a crowd. Therefore, a win-win situation at both teams and the league. Without those teams, PBA won't be able to sustain their operation that's why they are keen on getting an expansion. Business as usual on which is not new. We need the next Manny Pacquiao that is willing to spend big money to enter the league. As per my comment about these players playing abroad, just let them play. These players will soon be back. I truly believe that it won't affect the current status of PBA since it's not that majority of the best players in the league will get that offer. PBA needs to have a competitor and I think MPBL will soon become their close competitor where players can transfer vice versa. We know that PBA is the leading basketball league in the Philippines, but the real essence of competition is on the MPBL style or format, no sister team so no more speculation of rigged games. PBA will stay like that if there's no changes in the management, we already know what's the motives of Pangilinan and Cojuangco, for them it's just a pure business. Unlike the MPBL who really showcases the talents of the aspiring local basketball players who wants to be play in the professional leagues and MPBL was never intented to be PBA's competitor but we can't deny the fact that MPBL is more realistic and fair when it comes to it's rules. For now MPBL is a semi-professional league but soon, it'll replace and dethrone PBA's spot for sure. |

I don't know what happened by the Bucks is leading by a huge margin against the Warriors.
Can the Warriors turn it around as we are already in the 3rd quarter and it is a low scoring game which does not favor them.
I'm still amazed how the Bucks handled the game especially Giannis who scored an astounding easy 30 points, can't also deny the fact that their rotation and chemistry was good. In just 2nd quarter alone, they made 39 points lead to make the Warriors struggle more to chase the lead. The GSW now are having difficulties while Green was still away and KT is still adjusting in the court. Next up, it's the Suns vs Pacers, I have no doubt that the Suns will win this as the Pacers now is below the .400 mark, so it'll be Suns @ -5.5 |

Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks have similar forms considering their last 5 games. But GSW are at a better position in the standings too. I hope to see a competitive game first and as much close result as possible. And I think that GSW can defeat Bucks in this game. After Thompson's bouncing back from his injury, Curry seem to have started playing almost as always these times. And if Thompson supports him by a good performance too, they can have an important chance to win.
That's what I thought too, but unfortunately, the Warriors has been defeated today by the Milwaukee Bucks. I really thought that this would be a tough game too see like we're already watching the Finals game but the Bucks was too dominant and aggressive especially Middleton that scored 23 points and Giannis who made another triple double today. I think Curry was still tired from the Grizzlies game as we can see that he's not that energetic since the 1st quarter and only made 12 points until the end of 4th quarter. |

My early pick. Clippers vs Pelicans. Pelicans here for me is the better team, they won their last 2 home games so there's no reason to bet against them. -3 is not so high and I think this odds is not a trap or something, the better team will win here and that will be the home team. SO GL to us, fade or follow.  Yes, I think the Pelicans are improving in their last 2 games so it's hard to bet against them. And the -3.5 is a good odds as it is currently sitting at 1.9x so that's already attractive for the majority of us. For the Bucks vs GSW, I will go against the Warriors this time, I think Giannis will be up to the challenge so -2.5 for them. The Warriors vs Bucks game is a great match-up, it can be the NBA Finals match-up. Well, about your pick, I think I will agree with you as the Warriors struggle in their previous game and against the Bucks who are better than the Memphis Grizz, can't bet against the defending champ here. If that was the case, then Magsayo have some more percentage to win this fight if he will be able to unleash his skills and prove to everyone that whenever he fights some good boxers, he is also improving. As we can see there are only a few who can do that but who knows? maybe we are watching one of them who will gonna become a big star in the future. He just needs to beat Russel and he needs to beat him with clean K.O or technical K.O since they will be in his homeland where he will have the advantage when they reach the fight to the judge's scorecards.
I do believe that Magsayo does have more percentage to win this fight compare to Russell, even though I didn't know yet the betting odds on this fight but many bettors are in favor of Magsayo. This Filipino fighter is truly strong and hungry for a win and as a bettor, we can say that this man is good to support or to place a bet on. I am very sure that Magsayo will gonna win this fight and hopefully, a technical KO win is what his fans are looking forward to him. Aside from the percentage that Magsayo will likely to win this fight, his KO rate is much more higher than Russell, so I think it's really possible that Magsayo can knock him out and turn the tables just like what he did to Julio Ceja. The Lakers losing to the Kings is shameful... I'm on board with Frank Vogel (one of my favorite coaches) being fired at the all star break. It's clear his system is not working and he's horrible at managing his talent. Another great outing by Dwight Howard in extremely limited minutes... He made all 3 of his shots, was sent to the line 4 times, and grabbed 7 rebounds in under 15 minutes along with having a +/- of +9 in the loss. It's crazy he's not getting ~30 minutes a night the way he's been playing. Vogel has got to go. The talent is there. If they aren't going to trade Westbrook and AD immediately, they need to dump Vogel.
I thought that the Lakers are going to win this one against the Kings, I mean they should so I would agree that it's a shameful that after a 5 winning streak, they are back in the losing end again. Hard to really pinpoint what is the issue but it could be the Vogel is no longer the coach that is suited for the Lakers because of so many superstars and he don't know who and how to rotate them and still presses with the old process of going with Westbrook when he is committing a lot of TO. I think folks should just accept that Lakers are not winning the Championship this season. What the lakers should be doing is playing awesome defense and slowing the game down so they can win in the half court. Lebron's offense for another day is elite and his defense for another day is very bad. And you can't blame him of course, he is playing the right way because he can't give you his energy for defense and then can't be elite offenser. Defense takes away a lot from you, much more from anything in the floor. That's why the bests scorer's aren't good in defense. They are not getting any younger, if they will not win a championship this season then let's expect that we will not anymore see the same line up next season, and I have a feeling that Westbrook will be traded because he was ineffective with the Lakers uniform. Agree, they are hyped this season, and then it will only result in disappointment, the management would not love that, they may retain Lebron and AD but Westbrook just like last season will be traded again. The Lakers are doing good in their last 10 games but the fans are just hard to please since we are expecting too much from them so now we are disappointed. I'm with you there mate, I also believe that Westbrook will just end up being traded again or Carmelo Anthony, I mean, we have no doubts about their talent because we already knew about their capabilities. It's just Westbrook isn't accustomed for not being in the spotlight and only supports LBJ who leads and carry the team. We can't blame the fans for being disappointed because including me, I expected a different gameplay from the Lakers who had lots of star players. |

Since IATF is only referring to big numbers of cases rather than the condition, like most of the cases are mild, then no more sports event yet. Even the mild of the mild cases will be considered a threat. I understand though but the country can't afford anymore those limited restrictions. We can move forward even without these overrated restrictions like going in Level 4. Put a heavily strict on those hard-headed people that will not follow the safety protocol rather than limit people's activity because of these restrictions in Level 3 and possible level 4.
I see your point, but even this is not as deadly as how those previous covid but if you have co-morbidities; you are still in danger, the virus can still trigger and take your life, not good for PBA to push things up and I really appreciated what step they take about this matter, money ain't the first priorities but the safety of everyone.. Keep safe! Right! Also even if the PBA has been granted an exception by the IATF to resume its games, there's still no point to resume the games scheduled at some places like MOA Arena or Araneta Coliseum if people still can't buy the tickets and to see it live on scene. How could the league make some profit or atleast get the funds they released when they can't even sell some tickets. This is the very best choice they've got and we can't expect some games soon as the cases continues to spike daily. So, it's safe to assume that there will an extension to this heightened restriction. |
