1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best ways to invest money? on: December 04, 2021, 07:59:02 PM
When we want to be successful investors we need strong patience because something we invest certainly has its own risks.
Just like we invest with gold, the risk is also there but not too fatal because we also know how the price of each gold moves every year and of course the risk is different when we invest our money with coins the risk can be greater.
Crypto price movements are very volatile and of course full of risk,
investing in crypto is not as easy as people think because we need to analyze every moment of market developments and of course the coin selection must be right
Indeed, cryptocurrencies are much more volatile than any other assets including gold, and because of it's volatility, there's also risks involved, so the higher the volatility, the riskier it is. Which ofcourse can be promising and competitive in terms of returns.
Selecting cryptocurrencies is much more difficult because there are thousands of varities of it, but only few were promising. So be wise in selecting what to invest to avoid losses in the future, invest only what you can afford to lose and most of all, patience is a must.
1022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going to $53k or down to $48k? (Bullish Scenario) on: December 04, 2021, 05:33:18 PM
As we can see in the crypto market the last few days where the price of bitcoin continues to experience a significant decline, most likely even towards the $48k level. Therefore, we hope that something big will happen, namely there will be a reversal that will make it a pullback or even bullish again at the beginning of next year. Will it continue to go down or up.
These past few weeks, bitcoin is currently declining significantly, and since the month of December starts it dips more until todays value at 48.4k USD. Traders and investors are currently silent while being optimistic at the same time, watching for the price to regain or recover from it's correction and dip. Maybe we will experience this the whole month or maybe there will be some huge happenings before this month and year ends, we don't know about it yet. So it's better to hold now and be patient, don't panic and sell just because of the declination. Make this a positive way to earn and gain profits when the market starts to recover.
1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I only have 0.001 Bitcoin is that okay? on: December 04, 2021, 04:33:27 PM
There's really no shame at all in having or holding small fractions of cryptocurrencies like bitcoin. And there's no need to be proud of it publicly because it's your private asset, you wouldn't want someone either to know your holding bitcoins or any kind of cryptocurrencies, just be humble and be proud of it privately.
Just hold it, or invest small fractions again if you have some spare funds. Just make sure to secure it in a safe place and wallet to recover it when you need it in the future, who knows, that small fraction will be worth at thousands of dollars in the future.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 04, 2021, 04:02:56 PM
So logically none of the promoters will allow that to happen, the rules are clear before the bout, no winners if it goes to the decision, winner can only be determined if there is a knockout and that is the standard followed in all the exhibition fights.

That makes sense .... Therefore in Mike Tyson really has an edge on this fight because he has the knockout power and if Tyson won't be able to KO Logan Paul because he could use a very effective strategy like making the old man tired, then the end would be boring as it will only become a draw.  Sad
But I think this will end in a draw because that's the most likely way.
On the other hand, I feel that neither of them will win because in a match like this, the result will most likely be a draw.
logan won't be able to beat mike and on the other hand mike definitely won't take this seriously because this is an exhibition
That's just how the exhibition fights end, in a draw. No one will win and at the same time no one will going to lose because there's no judge to set the scores and it doesn't go in your record, it'll be just like a sparr match. But, in the eyes of the spectators there will be a winner depending on who has the upper hand in the match. And in this fight, Mike is likely to win no matter it is, even though he's old enough to do fights but the fact that Mike has accepted this match then we already know that he also up to it. I'm excited to watch this match tho  Wink
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a right time to buy some ethereum?. on: December 04, 2021, 02:06:45 PM
Eth is going so bullish right now. I think there is no time frame for buying crypto . And hold it untill you reach in your target.  Eth is hit $4700k and we are hopping $6k at the end of this year or next year $10000 . So no late in crypto. Dumb and pump it's the nature of crypto. But tight HODL can give anyone huge return
As of today, ethereum's value is currently playing at $3,907 , I think it's best buy now while the price is dipping and make this as your advantage to gain profits and hold it, forget the gas fee because it's one of the reasons that will make you hesitate instead of investing. ETH is placed #2 in market rank for reason, remember that always. It's always good to buy altcoins especially ethereum if you have that kind of funds because when eth's projects come to place, surely it will make ETH to pump gold, and you're one of those lucky ones to reap the profits.
1026  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit cards | A scam or a tool? on: December 03, 2021, 01:13:38 PM
as far as I have experienced, as long as we can use it wisely then a credit card can be very helpful. we can withdraw cash from the card that we have with a certain limit. this is very useful for entrepreneurs who need money in an urgent time, especially if we have several credit cards so we can cover each other's bills, most of them are stuck with credit cards because they use them consumptively to pursue a lifestyle
Being wise on your spending should be the big word on here or the main thing on a certain credit card user because this isnt just something

that you do make use without even thinking because problems would be created if you arent wise or not sensible towards your spending actions.

You would really be making a big headache later on if you do find out that you would need to pay all of those interest after month.
So better be wise on your spendings is a must.

Indeed, who would've want to be in much debts anyways, right? Even that alone wouldn't keep you from spending so much, the key is too discipline your self to avoid buying unnecessary things you might want or need. And buy only essentials that are mostly needed in everyday living. I mean, there's nothing wrong in spending your credit card as long as you're capable to pay the amount and interests entailed on what you've bought.
1027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to accumulate more bitcoin other than buying with FIAT. on: December 03, 2021, 11:02:09 AM
Well, the fastet way to accumulate more bitcoin is to either buy it using fiat or do trading. But since it's not on the question, there are still some way more ways to accumulate or earn bitcoins for FREE.
• You can mine it if you have the proper materials needed for it, sure it's costly but it's nothing when you eventually mined something about it.
• You can also do Lend/Loan bitcoins to other who needs it and give it some interests to make some profits depending on how long or how much is it.
• Play online games and be paid in cryptocurrency such as bitcoin.
• Lastly, you may know it but I will still say it, apply to signature campaigns in this forum to accumulate bitcoins.

If it's still not for you, try to search in the internet on how to earn or accumlate bitcoins. Cheer up mate!
1028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is a good option?? Trade or Hodl on: December 03, 2021, 08:26:32 AM
Why only choose 1, if you can do both things because trading and hodling will sure make you reap some profits in the future. The only difference is trading makes your reap it sooner than just wait and hodling it.
But it really depends on the person if that's included in his/her field of experties, surely there's always a room to learn and first timers. Also trading needs so much time to analyze and evaluate the market before you eventually trade to avoid some mistakes that will likely lead you to losses. As well as patience, it really needs a lot of it! So if you have both the time and patience then sure, you can do trade. Hodling in the other hand, doesn't requires some time to check and analyze always, all you have to do is wait patiently until that goal of yours comes or the timetable you've expected.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cardano's Milestone on: December 03, 2021, 07:15:07 AM
Quote
After rising 1,200 percent this year, and outperforming Bitcoin and Ether, cryptocurrency Cardano has hit the 20 million transactions milestone. Cardano's cryptocurrency ADA has over 33 billion coins in circulation. However, ADA has been sliding for some time. This is possibly due to trading platform eToro saying it will delist the coin by end-2021 in the US on regulatory concerns.

This was achieved without a single outage in the four years of its existence. However, Cardano has been facing criticism from users lately for the slow ushering in of key upgrades to its network.

Cardano had reached two million wallets online with an uptick in traffic as of the end of November. Its daily transactions surged to over 200,000 per day at the end of last month from less than 10,000 per day at the same time last year. This, in turn, prompted the developers to reconsider the size of each block on the blockchain to accommodate more transactions in each block. Anticipating a robust growth in network traffic, Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK) announced an increase in the size of the blocks. IOHK, the company behind Cardano, is an engineering firm that develops cryptocurrencies and blockchains for government entities, institutions, and corporates on the Cardano blockchain.
Cardano is now focussing on optimising network growth and scalability. With an increased block size, it is equipped to handle more transactions per second, thus significantly improving throughput.

Like Ethereum, Cardano blockchain allows for execution of self-executing smart contracts. The decentralised blockchain has a multitude of other uses in the banking and financial sphere. However, what makes it different is the speed of transactions; it processes about 250 per second versus Ethereum's 30 per second, according to a Nasdaq report.
Cardano's cryptocurrency ADA currently has more than 33 billion coins in circulation. However, the number of coins has been capped at 45 billion. A cap on supplies is expected to drive gains.

At the time of writing, the cryptocurrency was trading at $1.58.

What's your prediction about Cardano like 5years from now?
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: December 02, 2021, 06:06:28 PM
Currently, the poll in this thread has favored GGG to 23 votes and zero votes for Murata. Indeed, GGG is really the crowd favorite wherever I read about this match.
According to their record GGG has the experience and knockout advantage compared to Murata. GGG's record is 41-1 (36 KOs) while Murata's record is 16-2 (13 KOs). Both their KO rate have frankly small gaps, 88% and 81% respectively. So that leaves GGG to have the upper hand in this fight but he will have to endure and overcome the challenge of fighting the opponent in his own country where Murata is viewed as hero and a gold medalist in boxing during the olympics.
Feel sorry for those who had high hopes for Murata to win because this wont gonna happen even though he viewed as a Hero and  gold medalist but wont really be that enough to beat out GGG and its no surprise that users on this forum had the same impression too and if you do talk about experience
then  its a huge gap and even KO percentage is almost the same but those numbers wont really able to be justified out but GGG shouldnt really
be that confident because we know that there is some sort of lucky punch that we do know.
The users in this forum is I think 70% to 80% bettors to sport like basketball, boxing or even MMA. That's why it's easy now to spot who has the upper hand in-terms of skills and experience. It's not new anymore that GGG is the favorite because he already proved his skills to the fans across the globe that he's the bigdeal whoever he fights and wherever it's going to take place. 88% KO rate is so high to put the Japanese fighter to his knees or even knockout cold if it catches 1 lucky punch from GGG.
1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Binance Coin (BNB) reach $1K? on: December 02, 2021, 04:42:58 PM
Personally, I've been watching BNB's market movement and its growth as well. As of today Binance Coin (BNB) market value is worth 665 USD, it has increased for about 63% in the past 6 months alone. It's very possible for BNB to worth or increase more than just $1000, my prediction is that BNBs value will be as much as $3000 or more before the year of 2022 ends.
Why? BNB alone has a network called Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and an own platform where you can exchange/buy other coins or sell it for a low transaction fee. It is widely used in many other countries of well because of the security and cheap fee, so I don't have any doubts at all that BNB will boom soon enough.
1032  Economy / Economics / Re: 2.5 million US truckers say they'll quit over vaccine mandate on: December 02, 2021, 03:48:31 PM
We'll see what will happen because either way there will be some implications. I just can't imagine what would be the reason for the truck drivers for rejecting the vaccines over the cost of their work, surely so much families will be affected. Imagine 2.5 Million truckers? There must be a reason to it why they won't like to get vaccinated.
But if eventually they will quit or just stop the job for even a week, the supply chain will surely be heavily disrupted, along the trucker's families and inflation will follow because of the shortage of products. Forget about Elon Musk for now, as if Elon can provide these much trucks or robots to replace this truckers immediately. He can't even get the Tesla model to perfection.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend your Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2021, 02:51:06 PM
Do you spend your Bitcoins or just hodl?

If you spend
What for and do you miss something that cannot be bought for Bitcoin yet?

If you hodl
For how long and why don't you spend?
Do you have exit strategy or you will spend it after you can buy your desired thing?
Well yes, I've been holding bitcoin in the past and used it to buy certain assets that will let my family live comfortable than we used to be almost a decade ago when I didn't know about bitcoin yet. And nope, I didn't regret anything about what I spent because it really helped me and family.
For now, I'm trying to maximize my portfolio again by holding bitcoin and altcoins, I do side tradings like weekly to gain something and put it back in BTC and ETH. I'm trying to hold as much as possible until the time that I needed to sell it again.
1034  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: December 02, 2021, 12:09:02 PM
We are now officially down to less than 30 days before this year ends and currently, the market's value is playing at 57,000 USD. No huge pumps or dips this week and we are having some quite correction and a dip since last week. Don't give up guys! We'll make through this, be optimistic and see it in a positive way.
Maybe Santa will bring some good news this month! Grin
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: December 02, 2021, 06:27:44 AM
BNB is very popular nowadays and I even can imagine that BNB will going to be one of the most popular cryptocurrencies in the future because of the fact that they're much more cheap in terms of trasaction costs or free and they even have their own exchange, so I doubt BNB will fade sooner, it won't really happen. BNB's market value is also getting higher than it was a year ago.
But about BNB to become the king of all coins? I guess not, it's not entirely possible. Maybe king of altcoins only because bitcoin is already there occupying the highest position of all coins, so bitcoin is going to be the hierarchy of all the coins, no doubt!

1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto's Wealth on: December 01, 2021, 03:35:56 PM
OP, your question is irrelevant at this point.
What's the point of asking a question that nobody, except Satoshi himself, can answer?
Increasing your post count with one more post?
Every year, multiple Bitcoiners keep asking the same question and it is clear that nobody can answer.
I'm beginning to believe that Satoshi Nakamoto might be dead and his BTC will remain untouched forever.
What's the point of having billions of dollars worth of BTC and not using them for something good(for charity, environmental projects or investing in promising startups)?
Well as you said, it's clear that nobody can answer it then what's the point of your statement that you believe that Satoshi might be dead? Do you really believe that behind the name Sathoshi Nakamoto is a single person? At this point, there's no clarity on that claim because maybe the name behind SN is a group of individuals and not just a single person.

How about if you answer that to yourself. Would you do charity or enviromental projects if you have billions of USD?
1038  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the best advice? on: November 30, 2021, 01:22:54 PM
As a parent and as a future parent, I think our children is going to enjoy playing games even they're not getting paid with because in that way, their brain is just starting to process about how the world goes and let them be familiar on the internet for basics. And when they're in high school, that's the time to teach them the fundamentals in learning the basics and let them choose their own career because as we age we discover some more things that are likely the path we want to take.
I will just advice them if it needed and surely I will let them walk in their desired road if that's what they want as long as it's legal and makes them happy.
1039  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions should never be traded. on: November 30, 2021, 11:50:15 AM
Emotions for a trader really play a very important role. I realized this even when I was working on a demo account with a broker Amarkets. Even then, I concluded that emotions may not have a very positive effect on the result of a trader's work.
It's because emotions can be harmful to you and worse it may cloud your decisions at some point in life especially if it's an important matter. So, it's better to have a goal and correct method when investing to maintain focus and remain calm if the market is starting to deviate to your plan. Always have a plan B if everything starts to get worse.
And being in a calm state makes your worries fade help you decide which is a correct move and that's how you make profits. Instead of panicking when market is diping and invest again when it's recovering, always spot the situation and make an advantage out of it.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin investment on: November 30, 2021, 11:06:20 AM
I have some capital and I will like to know the right token to investment in. Am new to NFTs and will love to get your opinion on which NFT to buy for a short term base.
Basically, I don't recommend NFTs at all because based on my true experience it's not for a long-term investment and it's more stressing, so I think it's not a smart move for you either. If you don't believe me, well here's a like why you shoudn't invest in NFTs. I've been there and done that.

Link: https://medium.com/geekculture/yes-nfts-are-pretty-useless-but-heres-why-they-won-t-stay-that-way-for-long-3ef282bf87fe

I suggest you try something else that will suit you more, maybe real estate or stocks. But if you like cryptocurrencies, then atleast invest in much more ideal and can give you competitive returns in the future like Bitcoin or Ethereum. And for altcoins, I can recommend you Solana, Polkadot, Litecoin, Dogecoin.
