1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: government's traditional laws can't handle Gambling+cryptos on: November 26, 2021, 04:06:49 PM
The commission cannot monitor the site continuously. Their framework does not allow to do so. How at the end the public is criticizing them about their age old traditional methods to try and control the gambling.

But now with the new technologies they are unable to cope up with the regulatory stress. Shouldn't they ask themselves this question that why haven't they thought about this since 2009 when cryptocurrencies were invented and the gambling+ crypto industry came not long after that.

Now they cannot question cryptocurrencies, they cannot question gambling, the laws needs a serious reform. But I somehow feel like the government will again bend this down and make this the probelm of cryptocurrencies and not them.
This scene right here is somehow similar when the US Government filed a lawsuit against Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook because they aren't familiar how facebook works and an alleged unfair methods just like now when cryptocurrencies are getting more and more realistic and technologies are growing rapidly, traditional laws can't keep up with it, and needs reform.
But for now, let's enjoy it while they're still arguing how to bend the system.
1062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They will try to stop Bitcoin on: November 26, 2021, 09:51:45 AM
they will always do whatever it takes to stop bitcoin, and they will not stop until their efforts succeed, they are always finding fault with bitcoin mining, I accept they stopped bitcoin to provide electricity, and create a clean environment for its citizens, but the question is why the government doesn't act fairly, because the miners of gold, coal, oil etc. why not stop, even their companies are supported by the government, such as in my country PT Lapindo which has released a lot of waste, thus destroying people's houses, but the government is silent and does not do nothing
We all knew already why they can't blame the large factories and minings of all sorts just like you stated. Those said companies are still standing tall until now because of the fact that they're sanctioned by the government itself. When it comes to that issue, they became deaf and blind.
But when it comes about bitcoin, they're so loud always try and try to take bitcoin down and finding some holes. Why? Because the government itself won't benefit from every transactions, even becoming a middle man of crypto is still impossible.
It's because some of those government officials especially in the higher class are also investors in those said companies and we can't deny that there's some "under-the-table" exchanges in order to renew their business license and continue to operate even if it already defy some laws. This issue are in-fact real even in our country.

Bitcoin on the other hand is new to them ears and it's not beneficial to them, that's why they're finding some potholes or issue within to destroy and take down bitcoin, they also can't sue someone because there's no one who practically owns bitcoin.
1063  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins economic growth is enormous in India | Amazing Future ahead on: November 26, 2021, 08:59:09 AM
However, soon in the 2021 bill Supreme Court of India passed the judgement that RBI should not be banning such transactions which can contribute to the Indian economics.

Well well well, when it’s regulations no one can go against it. When highest court is from your side then it’s just most amusing thing for India.
First thing, the OP didn't put any source to verify its facts where he stated in India's crypto holders.

However, after the ban that had took place 2years ago the whole Indian community and country have been benefiting of crypto, bitcoin in particular. Thanks to the wonderful minds in India's Supreme Court who passed the bill where it enables its people again to make transactions in crypto related stuffs legally.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 25, 2021, 08:56:35 AM

We will see Lopez fight Kambosos in the next couple of days, but that fight took many months in the making, changing of promotional company etc.. etc..

That is his only fight this year if it will happen.

Loma will have his 2nd fight this year against Commey and if he wins this 2021 is a great year for Loma as he bounces back strong. While on the other hand, Lopez will be tested in his fight with Kambasos as his opponent is also undefeated and I feel he can match Lopez fairly in the ring, I expect an upset here actually. IMO, the most active boxer this year is Canelo Alvarez as he had fought 3 times this year.

Right, and I think he also wanted to send a message to Lopez here that he is really back after he defeated him and he has move forward facing two tough opponent in the division.

So if Loma wins in this fight against Commey, then Lopez can't hide next year. The fight should really be push, the ball is on Lopez court though, Loma is willing, but Lopez has so many excuses in his book.
Because Lopez really knew that Loma isn't like the average fighter that he faced before, he also knew that he just luckily won by a small gap in score.
Maybe Lopez thinks that why would he fight Loma again (lame excuse), I defeat him already. We'll see it next year, chances that there will be a Loma vs Lopez 2 if Loma can eventually get this match in his favor.
1065  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: November 24, 2021, 06:23:16 AM
After becoming undisputed champion at super middleweight Canelo is now prepared for his next challenge. He will be moving up two weight classes to face WBC cruiserweight champion Ilunga Makabu. This opponent is not very well known but he has a high knockout percentage with 25 KOs in 28 victories and he has not had a loss in over 5 years. It will be an impressive feat if Canelo can become champion at cruiserweight after starting his career fighting in the jr. welterweight division.
Makabu is not well known in boxing world but his record shows that he is not an easy opponent. But does he have a previous opponent that he won through KO which is familiar to anyone? If not, then this fight is his big break to become popular.

On the other side, no doubt Canelo would be the favorite here especially after his recent fight to Plant. Once again he proved himself as a legend.
Nope, Makabu's previous opponents doesn't ring a bell to my ears either. I'm also surprised that I don't know this Makabu in particular given that his records and KO rate are impressive. His last match was on December 2020 against Durodola whos records are 34-8.
Such a very short notice for Canelo to prepare against this powerful and undefeated opponent but I know Canelo will be able to stand this fight knowing his skills and brilliant mind.
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is more real than money in the Bank on: November 23, 2021, 04:33:35 PM
Of course Bitcoin is more real than your money in the bank, fiat money stored in the bank does not provide any profit to the owner because the money actually belongs to the bank and is controlled by the bank, if we want to withdraw all our money then the bank will make it difficult for you not to withdraw. Basically the bank has no paper money and little gold reserves there are only controlled digital numbers. Unlike Bitcoin which has a blockchain that cannot be created or forged, it is limited in number and its value continues to increase every year.
that is the reason why we are in this world now because we are one of those who did not cater Baking style.

Using our Money for them to gain more and more while we are given a peanut interest per Annum .

Stop using banks for our investments , just keep safe some amount if you are not 100% certain in crypto but make sure to put more in here than in banks..
Banks play a major role in a country's infrastructure development. Banks always make money out of people's money. Using banks for investment is not much preferred. These days people are much into cryptocurrency investment looking upon the profit it provides compared to the investment on banks. Till date it is quite evident to see a big list of failed banks. With cryptocurrency the lack of understanding about the market have caused people to loss.
Infrastracture development but to their own profits and needs, but when exactly does banks does what peoples needs out of profits?
As we can see, banks nowadays are trying hard to gain the people's trust due to bitcoins popularity. Banks aren't so important anymore to other people especially to the one's who prefer bitcoin more. That's why they are always extending their hands for more services and options about crypto matter.
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit cards | A scam or a tool? on: November 23, 2021, 08:23:19 AM
I see credit card as more of a tool for me, my obvious reasons is to help myself track my spending habits and it's more safer and secure to use than the debit card.
Also, there's quite a lot of advantages that credit card may offer if you use it smartly like avoiding frauds that may hurt you financially, save you some interests when buying a house or car but this may vary and depending on your credit score if credit card is used, and ofcourse it can give you many rewards if you can always pay on time. But if your unwise, you may be trapped in stacked debt if you didn't pay on time and that will result to a poor credit score.

1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Musk the boss behind SHIB? on: November 22, 2021, 11:39:15 AM
I guess not, there's not enough or no concrete evidence at all to support this claim that Elon Musk is the mastermind behind the Shiba Inu. Although EM is the culprit who made the SHIB famous with just one single tweet, and now SHIB have made more investors than DOGE. Still they aren't stable and anytime they'll vanish because they're memecoin. But somehow, others are still lucky that they've invested in those stated coins before the hype started.
1070  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon -- Milton Friedman on: November 22, 2021, 09:25:55 AM
The United States of America alone has increased its prices up to 5% in this year alone and it is the highest increase in inflation since 2018.

Source: https://spn.org/blog/what-is-inflation/?gclid=CjwKCAiAnO2MBhApEiwA8q0HYZ-gjA--yr1NolePkIerP_Ir6--Pofj-Klv66B8_XGJI3zSWA-qIExoCOZsQAvD_BwE

Inflation rate isn't normal, it is indeed a phenomenon caused by the government itself alone to adjust their debt and won't rely on other sources anymore, also the USA has the biggest yearly budget on Defense alone, where would they get that budget? Inflation and taxes ofcourse. However, they will deny that accusations because they know more than anyone and they are just saying that inflation is caused by the increased demand of supply than services or goods being produced.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 22, 2021, 07:09:37 AM
Lebron got ejected against the Pistons. It seems that he throw an elbow to Isiah Stewart.

And I thought that we are going to see another Malice in the Palace, Isiah Stewart was really furious and mad and wanted to go after Lebron. He has blood in his face, good thing though is that there are a lot of officials and was able to control the Pistons bench.

Lakers down now, 82-67. Stewart though might be suspended because of his act.
Stewart's reaction is so normal and justified especially when you got hit by an elbow, I mean you gotta be furious at some point.
Though, Gilbert Arenas fired some hot warnings to Stewart saying "To start packing his bags because he’s probably about to get traded to a foreign country for going at the the Lakers star. Arenas also made a four-man shortlist of NBA superstars you’re not supposed to mess with. Aside from LeBron, there’s Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors’ duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. He also added that the only sanctioned fight that can occur in the NBA is between LeBron’s Lakers teammate Rajon Rondo and his longtime adversary Chris Paul."

Source: https://www.google.com/amp/s/clutchpoints.com/lakers-news-gilbert-arenas-fires-warning-at-isaiah-stewart-for-charging-lebron-james/amp/

After that short fight, LeBron James got ejected in the match. It was a big advantage for Pistons but AD, Carmelo, and Westbrooke managed it well even without the help of LeBron. It was an epic comeback in the 4th quarter.
1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple CEO Tim Cook invests on Crypto on: November 22, 2021, 06:06:10 AM
As anticipated, more and more CEOs of giant companies and wealthy private individuals are already indulging about crypto. I mean, even before crypto became quite famous as these days, they have invested already in secret manner. It's not that they will brag publicly that they've invested on it, and others are silently joing the movement while others are using their fame to slightly control the value, I guess you know that already  Grin

And now, the CEO of Apple choosed to invest in crypto as a part of diversifying his portfolio. It's a great news and it made a positive impact on the market.
1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with new meme coins on: November 21, 2021, 05:18:55 PM
Among meme coins Dogecoin are consider as a highly famous coin in cryptocurrency world. For beginners  it is necessary to first identify the meme coin and know about the strategies and planning for getting profit. Not just for meme coin but also for other coin, the beginners must have idea and expertise and then make investment. Not all meme coins are true and good for investment so the beginners must have to make themselves sure before making investment.
Highly famous because of the doings of Elon Musk, just like the other meme coins like Shiba Inu and Floki Inu. That's why it's important to always do some research and concrete plan to achieve that wanted goal and not to lose some serious funds.
There's no shame on investing in these coins because it can also get you competitive returns and profits if you just pay attention to every movement of its market. And do always watch for that memetrap, it's so tricky these days.
But as a newbie, you should know some sort of coins that is highly safe to invest and keep some safe distance to these memecoins. Practice some options that can get you profits with minimum risks before you get your hands with shitcoins.
1074  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Federalism sa Pilipinas on: November 21, 2021, 04:19:19 PM
https://thediplomat.com/2021/06/dutertes-forgotten-federalism-agenda-is-dead/

1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 21, 2021, 03:50:41 PM
My bet is the sexy fighting kitten in the main event hehehe. Miesha Tate is a MMA fighter, however, she can sometimes appear like a porn star. It is her eyes. Those eyes want to tell that you she might want to do something with you.

No wonder and seriously can't argue why Miesha Tate is called "cupcake" in her industry, too hot to handle. But frankly speaking, I still can't believe that she was defeated by an underdog (Viera), Tate is quite rusty now than her recent fights. I really thought that Tate would win this match via TKO, but the opposite happened.
1076  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: November 20, 2021, 01:55:58 PM
Nope, that ain't going to happen. And as far as the government's concern fiats will exist, they will continue to produce and print local fiats depending on their GDP and because crypto is decentralized they won't allow crypto to be their main currency and subtitute their local money. Example, bitcoin and fiat can exist side by side with different valuec and usage. Mainly bitcoin is a crypto currency to be used as a medium of payment online but now it's widely used as an investment due to it's value. While there are still more people who prefer to use fiats in-order to buy certain things.
But this may change in the coming years as crypto continues to amazed more and more people about its objective.
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My plans for the next bear market on: November 20, 2021, 09:21:12 AM
I think I will sell everything I have (btc and alts) in the end of december, to USDT.
I also have the same plan. Selling everything in December, or converting them to USDT. Some of my USDT will be used to buy again crypto coins in the upcoming bearish. I will wait for the moment when the prices of crypto coins are at the dip level. While for the rest of my USDT, I will convert it to fiats. I think it is the right time to enjoy the profits.  Grin
Yep that might be good, sounds like a solid and concrete plan to me. We all know that the bearish market will come somehow soon that we might expected and I think that it will some time to pass, and when the December comes then I think we might get a hint about the upcoming events.
For me, I'm making sure to see it as an advantage to get some profits but we know bear market is sure needs a lot of attention to eventually gain.
1078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Satoshi Nakamoto Day on: November 20, 2021, 07:16:23 AM
Daniel Leon, co-founder and COO of the Celsius Network cryptolanding platform, said at a conference organized by Calcalist and Bank Leumi that bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto should receive the Nobel Prize in economics for inventing the first cryptocurrency.
https://www.calcalistech.com/ctech/articles/0,7340,L-3922886,00.html

Certainly, Satoshi Nakamoto himself deserved to receive that Nobel Prize for creating the famous Bitcoin that has helped many people in the past 12yrs. But somehow we don't know who's going to receive that because we don't even know his/her real name or maybe there's a group behind the name SN. But one thing is certain, he/she/they are all rich now and living comfortably if ain't dead.

But anyways, Advance Happy Satoshi Nakamoto Day! I'm honored to be a part of this movement and thankful for creating the most successful cryptocurrency of all time.  Smiley
1079  Economy / Economics / Re: Getting things off your list. on: November 20, 2021, 06:12:23 AM
The longer you wait at times, the more prices increase, things are not getting cheaper, the longer you wait the more the thought of this need bugs your mind.
It really depends on the type of your needs, and ofcourse it is subjected for availability especially if it's newly released product.
I know, you do have a point about your post that delaying certain needs are bound to much expensive prices. But a delay is also good, take for example if you want or need something about your home equipments or furniture, you need to really weigh it if you really need it or it's just for your comfort or else you'd be buying out of rush even if you can live without it.
And about cars, there's no need to rush about that certain new model because you already knew it's quite expensive, a delay in those things means much because you can save much if you buy it sometime later.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A positive evaluation of gambling. on: November 19, 2021, 05:48:11 PM
From self evaluation and the evaluation of a few gamblers around me, i have observed that over time due to gambling activity, some characters worthy of emulation have been unconsciously developed by some.

Some of the characters that i have observed from the life of a few core gamblers around me and myself are;

-Development of Risk taking ability; to win big in life, you must be willing to try, and gamblers have so developed their risk taking ability.

-Development of the ability to quickly let go of things and move on; Dwelling on the past and the possibility of "what could have been" is really not healthy and it can weigh you down and distract you from "what can be". Though not so easy, gamblers have developed this ability to easily look ahead from the "near win" of yesterday, to try again today.

-Positive mentality (that is always believing that everyday we gamble, it may just be our lucky day for the big win).

- Consistency/ Not quiting attitude; Always trying regardless of  previous results.

If you see yourself as a gambler, i implore you to put yourself in perspective and please share any positive trait that has been developed in your life as a result of gambling.

PS: The purpose of this discussion is not in any way to encourage you to gamble more, but a pointer to show that amidst the dark clouds, there is still a silver lining.
In my opinion, you did careful research on the positive effects that gamblers had, but even so, the negative effects of gambling in my opinion are even greater from positive efek, and of course we all have often discussed these negative things here, and for point number 2 I slightly disagree with you, because in my opinion it is not a positive thing because it actually triggers gamblers to like to dream more to win and in the end this is what triggers someone to become addicted to gambling in my opinion.
That is why the OP highlighted his last phrase on his post saying that this thread isn't created to encourage people to gamble more. It is about finding the positive attitude amidst dark clouds. You two are both right about each other's opinion and POVs.
Developing such positive attitudes unconciously is indeed helpful not just while we're gambling but it can be applied everyday in our life about that being optimistic even though you've had a hard rough day. And also, the ability to be consistent and being a risk taker despite the result. I believe told that experience is the best teacher and everthing we do have its own consequences and we are well aware in almost every decisions we make.
