The app can lead her to a dinner with you and all kinds of things that apps can do.  Later, after the excitement has calmed she is likely to ask you questions and that is when you tell her that it is based on Bitcoin.

1283  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to tell your Girlfirend about BitcoiN?? on: September 22, 2016, 06:26:07 PM
Do not tell her, show her.  I am sure that we are not the only ones out there that are playing heavily with scripted TX and smart contracts.  One of the things that we are putting together is a tablet app that has a built in mini wallet and a script TX or two inside.  The idea is simply to build a romantic and nice video/media app that is centered around a countdown to an event.

Let's say it is her birthday on 12/12/2016.  You give her the tablet on 12/11, it is in kiosk mode and she carries it with her all day, seeing romantic little videos, surprises and such and taunts her about a gift that she will receive at midnight.

There's a countdown and at midnight the transaction goes off and whatever it is that is her gift is shown and announced to her, as the transaction pays for the gift and goes forth

1285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: September 22, 2016, 03:46:27 PM
Just wondering why people use so many Bitcoin wallets.
There are not any real reasons until you get into something specific.

1286  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoins more than double of the price? :O on: September 22, 2016, 03:45:05 PM
The other day I was on Paxful and saw several users buying Bitcoins at an enormous price.  For those that don't know, on Paxful you trade Bitcoins back and forth for various account deposits.

I plugged in $10 and they would have deposited $150-300 in a Square Pay account.  Paxful covers the initial transaction, they do not get the Bitcoins until you tell Paxful that you got the Square Pay deposit, but I am sure that the funds would have been disputed hours later.  If I had an instant Square Pay to bank option, I might have done it, lol.

Other than that, I have seen Bitcoins go for crazy amounts on eBay.  I have looked in some time, but when the price for BTC was $250 I saw people paying $350-400 for a single Bitcoin on eBay.

Those guys were new and had no idea what price was good, but it happened over and over.

1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform ❘|❘ ICO OPEN on: September 19, 2016, 03:34:06 PM

...
They will just spread their investment, I expect them to invest in ICO's also for great new projects which will have a snowball effect with people saying. "Look ICN invested in this project so it must be a good project to invest in, etc etc."

I hope it will be like that but... Cheesy they can find scam  too, but as big investor they can force escrow ^^

Maybe you are right but still we need Big investor for the  ICONOMI ICO to be more successful. I think we should be positive and hope everything turns out to be good.
1289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: September 19, 2016, 04:30:54 AM
I would suggest that you to continue  on trading. For me it is the most safe way  to grow btc, rather than investing  it at hyips websites, because most of them are scams.

Your point is litter bit right, as we all know that some investment sites are scammers, so better is that do the trading, because it is safe sound than investment, also trading is good thing which we gain knowledge and information about all crypto currencies, because when i start trading so i know very well about online currencies.
1290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: September 19, 2016, 04:22:49 AM
It is not a suitable thing to put your all assets or money in a one field. A successful business never and ever do it, till the end he know about it totally, and spend a long time than may be anyone can put his whole money in a business.
But about OP, i invest in bitcoin only 25% of my assets, because of trading.
1291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you think is a good time to start trading ? on: September 19, 2016, 04:17:08 AM
No time limit in trading, whenever you know about it, than start it. Sometime people are asking that they are late to start the bitcoin, than i reply them, no way, thats all are crypto currencies, and in these currencies always have up and down, so what the matter if we late, matter is that how we utilize it and make profit.
1292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to buy really large BTC amounts? on: September 19, 2016, 04:09:51 AM
So as in title, Is it possible to buy really large BTC amounts? like a million $? What was the largest amount of BTC you bought at once?

I don't think that it has any problem to buy the bitcoins, because you know big merchants and also investors always buy the big amount of bitcoins, and they have no problem in it, But i have never experience of it, my biggest amount of buy the bitcoin is that 20 BTC. Because it is enough for me and i have no problem to buy it.
1293  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'd like to get some bitcoins. Is now a good time to do so? on: September 19, 2016, 04:04:42 AM
I'm planning on getting a fraction of a bitcoin. Maybe about 1/4 or 1/8 BTC just to fill my wallet with something. Is now a good time to do so?

I think you just want to fulfill your wallet, and also i think you have no problem if you buy the bitcoin in a high price, but still bitcoin is not a high price, now you can buy it and fill your wallet, and also hold it because recently bitcoin would be started to grow.
1294  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a successful Trade? on: September 19, 2016, 04:00:03 AM
I believe successful trade is depend on correct information and catch the right moment, i mean, if you miss the good chance than its mean you miss your profit, but instead of it, sometime you never get lose, but you miss it. and than wait for a long time, and sometime good chance never come back.
1295  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: September 18, 2016, 01:24:03 PM
It can only happen if people would embrace change. There's a lot of reasons why the nation should use Bitcoin instead but people are not aware of that and the government seems to be against it as well. It might not seem possible for now, but it will eventually become more and more a possibility.

The two biggest hurdles for bitcoin to replace the money is

1-Lack of awareness of  people
2- Government Institutions unwillingness to bring this change

The point no 2. i guess is a much bigger threat for bitcoins a compared to point no 1.
1296  Economy / Economics / Re: Is USD being used for illegal activities? on: September 18, 2016, 12:52:37 PM
Euro is more suitable than USD for illegal activities. Since there are 500euro papers which hold a lotmore value than 100$. To answer your question, of course it is being used for illegal activities. It doesn't make USD guilty. USD is the most common currency around the world, thw most liquid... That's why terrorists choose USD over everything else.

Terrorists can use any currency for illegal activities. It may be be USD, EURO, Pound or even Bitcoins. So what matters most is that system which may caught such activities and most of the under developed countries do not have such a system as yet.
1297  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: September 18, 2016, 12:50:15 PM
paypal is actually not scamming nor a scam site, when a service is just popular and getting used by so many people,i'm sure their quality will be lowering and so many problem will occur either major or minor problem to their clients, they can't take care of their clients and can't pleasing all of their clients so it will result so many complain

PayPal is not a scam in itself. The service has been around for many years and they have a lot of trusted customers.
But when you compare it with bitcoins, you will realize that bitcoin is much more user friendly and tax free and people will prefer bitcoins over paypal in the future.
1298  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: September 18, 2016, 12:46:25 PM
To be honest, one shouldn't buy bitcoins like that. It is a long term investmant, I would buy it if the price went down to less than 400 and not sell any of those for a long time.

I think bitcoin should be treated like a normal currency. Just buy when u see the price is declining  and save it until u feel that price is at its peak.
1299  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins true potential on: September 18, 2016, 12:22:47 PM
The value can also be a function of demand. What I mean is that if there is some good news that makes people panic buy, the price could spike higher than is should be worth just because of that temporary demand.

What i think is that very few people use bitcoin as compared to Fiat, So if more people started using the bitcoin it can increase its demand so much that it price can rise which we cannot imagine. Thats the true potential for bitcoins.
1300  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will bitcoin survive? on: September 17, 2016, 02:14:42 PM
Will bitcoin still be there in 2020 or will some other technology better than bitcoin take over?

It is 100% surety that bitcoin will be remain in 2020, no doubt on it.
But the other point is that bitcoin would be on the top or other crypto currency has come in its place?
So now it is that time, a huge people are using different currency but still they are also using bitcoin and bitcoin has give us more profit than other crpto currencies.
