So the hoster tells me that there are scripts who are using to much resources and that's why our account got suspended, which results in no site for you... I had a review but I don't know what kind of scripts they mean. They list even files we don't even use o.O

I was complaining already about that hoster in the past and I feel now is a good time to change it. I will have a look and see what I can do.
I am really annoyed that it has to happen out of the blue without a proper message or email from them. Angry

Sad that it's out of service all day long...

Maybe there are people using bots to cheat the site and claim all day long/faster than other of us without paying the boost.  Sad

Is there any way to check if it's really happening and then banning these people?

2225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Asian vs. Western Investors on: June 22, 2017, 03:49:02 PM
I think you are right on your statements. Most western investors prefer more solid investments, traditional ones. Asian investors are looking for any kind of investment that could give them chances to make profit, and now focused in technology.

I believe this happen because asian people want to make money fast as they are in need, while western people have already a more consolidated life, more confort and they aren't desesperate for money, at least most of them.

Possible to see this by looking the Crypto market, asians are the majority parcel of users in exchanges.

You find the fortune 500 companies mostly listed from the european country. In technology wise they are moving faster than asians in the IT and infrastructure. Most of the asians are getting wages and projects from the US and UK. As investment wise Western people are best to take decision.

I don't doubt about it. But I'm not thinking only about developers and creators, but common investors in Crypto-Currency, users.

It's not a secret the asian Exchanges are the most used and most traders are from asian countries at this moment. The asian countrie's people adopted Crypto-Currencies faster (for some shady reasons too, like thieves creating Ponzi schemes with fake AltCoins and Bitcoins). And as you can see, the biggest mining power amount is in China.

Very similar to FreeBitco.in, but doesn't have "Rewards" and "Earn passive income" features, only Dice game.
2227  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Make $1.50 per day from my website, typical withdraws in 48 hours! on: June 22, 2017, 03:47:59 AM
I think people didn't get the catch here.

Works in the USA, Canada, Australia, Sweden, UK, New Zealand, Ireland, and Norway.  Other countries may participate in Bittoclick.com but may not get Engageme.tv

People from third world countries aren't able to make the $1.50 daily so easily, at least not by viewing the videos.

For people from these countries it's just another PTC hybrid site with some extra features to earn, but that only worth for tier 1 countries.

2229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: June 22, 2017, 02:05:49 AM
I don't understand why people try to earn money with gambling. This way is very very difficult and the chance of winning is very very lower than the chance of loss. Instead of gambling open Bittrex even you don't know any coin choose randomly a coin and invest your money to this coin. I think this way is better for making some new money.

People try it because they think they can win using different strategies. It's not everyone who are aware about "it's impossible to beat the house on long term", so they keep trying to do it, they search for tutorials on the internet, hoping to learn a really good strategy to play. You can find many people like this on Youtube, commenting videos about gambling Dice methods, very usual.
2230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Casino with 0% Edge? on: June 22, 2017, 12:56:32 AM
I would be surprised if all their games are 0% house edge. I'm sure they only have a few games that are 0%, because they still need to pay bills, their initial investment and make a profit.

If they're really running everything at 0% for the long-term, I would be slightly suspicious if their games are fair or not Smiley

What if it's a "casino" that's only player based? Like, you win based on other peoples losses
The website just gets advertising profits
Wouldn't be conventional, but would certainly be interesting

I also agree that it would be interesting to play in such casino but iguess it is not impossible to play on that one.  As far as I know there is a project where they aimed to setup a casino with 0 house edge.  With their initial collection, I think they can sustain their project for a very long time.  They can also earn from the token allocated to development fund.   It would really a great thing for player to have such kind of Casino and would support it.
Probably in the free games that a website has or an online casino, they apply 0% edge there. Just like for trials so that they feel that they could win it and make more money on that website but it's not like that when there is money involved. It's going to be an easy thing for them knowing that they are like that.

These games you say are like those apps for cellphone, tablet, Iphones?

I have seen already this kind of game. Slot-machine games that I played for free on tablet. They give free coins to play and it's possible to win on long term, but it's not for real. I agree with you, seems it's just a strategy of them to make us deposit money on these apps to play for real, and then start losing money... But I'm not sure if they set any house edge officially.
2231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it worth buying bitcoins now? (2000$ /btc) on: June 22, 2017, 12:37:17 AM
you can invest in bitcoin anytime and you will must be profitable.First best time was 2009 and next best time is when ever you think that the right time is for investment.before invest you need little research.recently huge pump and dump happening.my suggestion just work out with bitcoin before investment otherwise you will need to wait for long time to got profit.

Exactly, you can start investing in BTCs anytime, it can be now or tomorrow, doesn't matter, it's always time to enter the game. The difference by getting in now or later, it's that the profit will take more time to be achieved as BTC price is very unstable, especially on short term. The price can drop a lot and you will see your investment negative for a while, but don't worry, the price recovers after some time (as it always happened until now).

Just would like to add an exception... As in 1 August there will be a uncommon event, nobody knows what will happen with BTC price, so if you don't like risks, just for now don't buy Bitcoins... But if you are able to take the risk, go on anyway.
2232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: June 22, 2017, 12:17:49 AM
I will sell my bitcoin when the price is right.Because they predict that bitcoin for 2017 will be at 2000$.I have to hold my BTC and wait for the high price so that before entering year 2018 I build my own house. There should be a proof  that BTC makes changes especially in home finance that the stage of my life be level up.

At this point, im not selling unless its completely necessary or like an emergency. If i can use money aside from my btcs i would prefer to spend it as i realize how storing btc would be essential in making more profits once the right time for selling comes, which i don't think is here yet.

That's why its is important to invest only an amount that you can afford to lose. So you don't have to bother to sell it if an emergency has arises. As for me, I just invest just a portion every time I can. And not invest to big because it certain situation, I will not have to sell it. Just saying.
Keeping some money for emergency is better for those people who cannot withdraw immediately while those people who can withdraw immediately like who have their bitcoin debit cards then they will have to invest their money in bitcoin. As with bitcoin debit card they can cash their bitcoin within a minute from any ATM.

Even they can withdraw anytime, having the Bitcoin debit card, it's not a good idea. Because we don't know when emergencies will happen, what means it can happen while the BTC price is cheaper than the moment you bought it. So you will lose money by converting it to fiat on that moment. Emergency money should still continue in fiat, it's safer. Just sell BTC more expensive than you bought.

2234  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: June 21, 2017, 07:07:50 PM
Here is my methodology to double your money using BTC:

1. Invest whatever amount of fiat which you want to invest in BTC. Let's say $100 or $500.
2. Wait until the exchange rates increase by 100%.
3. Convert your coins back to fiat, at 100% profit.

Quite simple. Isn't it?  Grin
So easily you said, but this wants to work out in real life. Suppose If we buy $500 worth of bitcoins today then when it is going to double? Today price is $2600 1 BTC, so if I want to make my investment double I need to wait for until the Bitcoin price reaches $5200 is this easy? And how much time it will take? What you said it's right, but it takes a long time to make double profit.

Meanwhile you can invest your BTCs and make income from it. It will boost your earnings not being necessary to double the BTC price to double your money. It's faster, but surely not so fast, as double money amount doesn't happen overnight. Anyway, it's a good way to make it double without any effort, just letting your money working for you.
2235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High school dropout who invested in bitcoin is now a millionaire at 18 on: June 21, 2017, 06:45:11 PM
If I had made a lot of profit like that guy I would have particular lessons, if the goal is to learn, you could learn faster with a teacher only for you. At school with dozens of students for one teacher in the class it's hard and takes time to learn.

Come to think about it, his parents are PHDs and he was probably getting home education.

Ah, so he is in the Heaven.  Cheesy

When the parents are educated and have good relationship with their children, the children will become educated too naturally by living together, sharing experiences and knowledge.
2236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High school dropout who invested in bitcoin is now a millionaire at 18 on: June 21, 2017, 05:42:00 PM
Why didn't he take the $100K and bought more bitcoins instead?  Granted that there has to be some tax consideration, but tax rate has to be as high as 40% in order for both of the cash option and the bitcoins option to breakeven.  If the tax rate was at 40%, then he could get $60K after tax and would be able to buy 300 bitcoins at the market price ($200 at the time).  Moreover, one day when he sells the bitcoins, he can dedect $200 on each of the bitcoins from the capital gain as cost.

Maybe he did... But if he would say he bought more BTCs, many eyes would grow over him and his family, better to keep in secret if he did that. It's never good to flaunt yourself, especially when we talk about money.

Dropping out of highs school is never a good idea. You learn things there that you will need later on in life. He was clever to have made this decision and I am glad he came out on top. This is another story of a wealthy young man who is retired for life living off investments.

If I had made a lot of profit like that guy I would have particular lessons, if the goal is to learn, you could learn faster with a teacher only for you. At school with dozens of students for one teacher in the class it's hard and takes time to learn.

2238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to sell small amounts of btc for cash? on: June 21, 2017, 04:29:25 AM
There is surely a minimum amount to sell your BTCs for cash. You will need to pay fees and in the end you won't withdraw a decent amount of money... So it's worthless, makes no sense to sell small amounts of BTC for cash. Continue holding and saving Bitcoins, when you reach to a more significant amount you can make the withdraw worth.
2239  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins and Video games on: June 21, 2017, 03:44:48 AM
There are some people offering their services in game, like upgrading levels in MMORPG game accounts or by selling rare items of a game... But as I see this kind of service doesn't have many customers. People aren't interested in hire someone to play games for them (at least here).

But maybe you can customers in another sites and forums more related to online games. Ask them to pay you in BTCs and you will make a decent profit.
2240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crime funded by bitcoin on: June 21, 2017, 02:37:47 AM
Crime can be funded with anything: from cash, gold, silver to bitcoin. So all these methods can be hardly traced, not only bitcoin. I don't see any major reason why bitcoin price would decrease if it is used in crimes. Most surely us dollars are used in crimes daily and the price doesn't fall right?  Roll Eyes
You are right, There is no sense when we said that bitcoin price would decrease because if it is used in crimes. Because peoples can use dollars or any real or digital currency for this things.
Maybe bitcoin is most used for crimes, because it's more secure and anonymous. It used in darknet too. So killers would sure want to use it than other any currencies.
It is very difficult to know the amount of money some criminals move in bitcoin, but I suppose that back in the day when bitcoin was just starting the percentage of most of the trading taking place  was mostly illegal transactions but as bitcoin has become known for more people then the percentage of these transactions has diminished because there is more people doing legal trades in bitcoin.

I think legal trades don't decrease the amount of illegal trades. Surely the number of legal trades increased a lot, but illegal trades increased as well. Bitcoin has the price it has today not only by the good people, but because the dark market over it too, we need to be aware about it.

Bitcoin is used by the good and by the evil like fiat and like any other tradeable item. We just need to make sure we are using it for the good, otherwise there could be problems with authorities in real life.
