2241  Economy / Economics / Re: 'Creeping' war vs. bitcoin? on: June 21, 2017, 01:55:53 AM
So the bad money is ETH and good money BTC? People will use ETH and keep the BTC (most valuable) stored.

While BTC price continues unstable, people will hold it hoping to make more profit on long term, if the same happens with ETH price, people will hold it samehow. But if ETH price becomes stable people will use it more often, keeping their Bitcoins, that is possible...

However most people trust Bitcoin only, if they don't use it, they will use fiat, for me it's the most probable to happen. BTC = Good money / fiat = Bad money.

SITE PROFIT DOWN TO 7+ BTC

Actually the site profit is down to from 86 BTC to 81 BTC, it's still way above what we could expect from 1% wagered:

The dotted line is expected site profit at 1% wegered, the candle graph is the daily profit - https://yolodice.com/#stats/investor

Nevertheless, it the guy was pretty lucky indeed. I am glad things start rolling for real :-)

Cheers,
Ethan

Nice, althought it was a loss for casino bankroll, it's a good marketing to attract more gamblers to YoloDice. Spread the word that someone has won big money on Dice and more people will come to try the same.  Smiley
2244  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Transacting in Litecoin or Etherium? on: June 21, 2017, 12:22:42 AM
I think they will not choose either of two as a payment for any product on their services or menu.Bitcoins is still the mainstream of cryptocurrency and those big altcoins will just shine if bitcoins will eventually come to end and replaced by one of them

Most people can think like you, but I'm already seeing some people dealing with each other with LTC or ETH because the fee costs of BTC. For now these people will continue using especially these two altcoins to transact here, until the BTC fees become lower than now. I have no problem in dealing with these two currencies as their price is good and always go up or stay stable on medium-long term.
2245  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Cloud mining. advantage and disadvantage on: June 20, 2017, 11:52:22 PM
DISADVANTAGES:

- You don't recover the same amount of coins you invested;
- ROI takes much time;
- Most cloud mining sites are Ponzi HYIP schemes.

ADVANTAGES:

...

_______________________________________________________________________________ __

Don't invest in cloud mining, you make much more profit just by holding your Bitcoins or any other currency. Makes no sense to pay to mine a lower amount of coins you paid. Cloud mining is just a trap investment to take newbie's money.
2246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: June 20, 2017, 11:31:31 PM
No, I think that it can't. It could be used along with traditional money but it can't entirely replace it. Unfortunately bitcoin has to many issues, weeknesses and characteristics that don't allow it to be fully used and implemented in traditional financial system. Volatility is just one of them.
Exactly, this will not happen because the fact that government still doesnt accept it because of it some characterics. In addition its now facing more problem unlike the conventional money. I think bitcoin will still remain as a virtual currency until it solved the problems about it.

Now it's really impossible to adopt Bitcoin as conventional money, impossible to use, but in the future it could be possible if some aspects would be upgraded. To be like conventional money Bitcoin must be able to buy anything, from the candy to the plane, the transactions must be fast and the price must be more stable. It will take much time, and it's not guaranteed to have BTC as conventional money, but at some point another Crypto-Currency can appear and replace fiat.
2247  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is there anyone using Buster Faucet? on: June 20, 2017, 11:05:44 PM
As they are offering those premium packs, it's scam. Better to don't waste your time claiming on this faucet or if you want to try, claim only for free, get the 0.003 BTC and try to withdraw to see what happens, if the don't pay, stop using it. Probably won't pay.

2250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: June 20, 2017, 02:27:43 AM
This is where most of the gamblers are doing mistake. Even there are some who are winning a lot within a single day. They are still not contented with it and they don't intend or plan to stop and take the whole day for a rest. Because they don't aim on how much they want to win for this day. The smart way on doing it is set a ladder limit, smallest to highest. But if you can't take to the next level you set, just be contented on your current stage.

At first it may seems like we win but in the end we are going to lose. It is a delusion that I once get as a gambler. I win and I keep playing but in the end , everything just gone because the house is going to win. It is a very stupid decision of me that lead me to lose alot of money but I changed because of that experience as well

The important is to change your behavior to stop losing with gambling. Every gambler will start having losses at some point (if they play only luck based games). You can win 1 BTC one day, but if you think how much you have lost on the past, this 1 BTC will mean nothing... But if it's a hobby activity yours, there is no problem losing money since you don't lose money you will miss later.

How can you change your behaviour despite of the gambling strategies you have is a casual ways and not that smart. If you wanted a change of behaviour you should act quickly on the gambling activities you have like playing in a sense of stopping immediately if there's signs of lossing several bets. The decision of quiting in a game quickly is a smart choice to do to avoid wasting money and protect your investments of gambling.

Change behaviour to stop losing means stop gambling or stop gambling with much money. But it depends from each gambler. Some gamblers have more money, others are poor, so each one has a different bankroll to play and each one should know how much to use to play. To avoid big losses, can worth to set a maximum loss in streak to stop playing, not going until the last possible bet.

2252  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you have an idea to invest your bitcoin in offline business? on: June 20, 2017, 01:04:13 AM
Imagine when price was $1200 you went and invested 100BTC equal of $120,000 and then after 2.5 month bitcoin price skyrocketed to $2800 that would mean $160,000 increase of your 100 bitcoins value. is there any investment any where in the world account for that increase and give you the earned profit just because of the price increase?
Bitcoin is not an ordinary currency to use it investing anywhere, you should never invest your coins no matter what because when just holding them could bring you such a profit why would you invest them?

It can be very profitable, I agree with you, it's never good to exchange your BTC coins into another currency, like fiat for an example. So it's better to give preference to investments which you continue with all your BTCs intact and hit ROI since the beginning of the investment. I think there isn't any offiline business this way to invest.
2253  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is Faucet still a thing now? on: June 20, 2017, 12:40:12 AM
From faucet-owner point of view: not any more. Because faucets are really a simple business model - giving parts of cents for seeing ads and ads are the only revenue model there. With current BTC price high, respectfully of all alts, this model is not sustainable anymore.

From faucet-user POV: Nope, and never was. There are much more pleasant ways to waste your time. Maybe only for newcomers.

Faucets were very good in the past for many people. It worthed a lot if you compare the old rewards with the currently BTC price. Not so much time ago it was very easy to claim 100.000 satoshis on faucets, today it's $2.60, good, but soon it will become even better (who holded the earnings will make a lot of profit).

And sometimes there were flash faucets paying awesome rewards, like 100 satoshis without time between claims, special bonus on Epay.info where you could earn 1000-2000 extra satoshis per claim (I made 700.000 satoshis there in few days once).

Now it's different, but creative faucet owners can still make people use their sites as you can see here in Micro Earnings section.

2255  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What are the best BTC faucet sites that are Legit and High Paying? on: June 19, 2017, 07:54:25 PM
try freebitco.in

That is one of the most legit faucets, paying since 2013. Offering us a free chance to earn up to $200 every hour, really good.

The referral system worth a lot as this faucet is alive for several years, you can play Dice game with your earnings (or deposit to play) and the most new feature allows you to earn passive income just by holding a balance over 30.000 satoshis on their site (0.01% daily), with the right strategy you can have an army of referrals producing comission for you.

I don't use this site, but have found some comments about it here:

https://netbusinessrating.com/en/review-15373-bitsforclicks

Some people complaining about this site, probably they held payments because the BTC increased too much recently. You could try again to withdraw, if it continues forbidding you to withdraw your money you should stop using this PTC.

Good faucet to claim, but reward is too low every 3 hours.

If it's 100% chance to earn 45 satoshis, it's impossible to earn 100, 500 or 1000 satoshis.
2260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: August 1 needs to be today... on: June 19, 2017, 04:55:04 PM
If the solution is a hardfork, it's not a solution. Bitcoin will be splitted in two and it can weak the currency, weak more than just continue as it's now.

People can move themselves to AltCoins, but it doesn't mean they can't come back to Bitcoin later again. BTC continues pricing a lot and still increasing, nobody is crazy to left it for much time.
