2021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would I? on: July 09, 2017, 03:57:27 PM
Some sites and services create a coin that is useful only inside the site, if you want to cashout the money you need to convert it, most probable to Bitcoin. It's not so complex as creating an AltCoin and worth much more. There is no reason to create an AltCoin that hasn't any safety considering the volatility rates. People want to hold a currency which becomes more valuable and not the opposite.
2022  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any site like icoincash.com that actually works? on: July 09, 2017, 03:57:56 AM
Everyone would like this kind of site were real, but there isn't any legit one.

There are hundreds of similar sites as you may know by searching on the internet, all of them promising easy and huge profit. Some of them start paying members, others don't pay since from the beginning of the site. If you invest on it you will most probably lose your investment, better to keep distance.

2023  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: July 09, 2017, 03:35:28 AM
You could teach them how save money is good by showing the money can grow by itself if invested. They can spend all their money now with something useless or they can make it grow by putting the money into a good site which generates income for them.

Teach them how to multiply the money and they may start thinking twice (specially the first one who you say spends a lot) before spending money.
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How I made 1 BTC in one night from a gambling website on: July 09, 2017, 03:20:03 AM
Well, that is why Adam Guerbuez uploads new videos every new day on Youtube about Dice strategies.  Grin

That is a good way to make profit, by the affiliate comissions, you just need to set a different strategy no one tried before and tell others to try it as 'fresh method'. Nice that you have made this big fortune in short-time period, it's not an easy task.
2025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the future of bitcoin will look like on: July 09, 2017, 02:57:07 AM
The future of Bitcoin depends August 1 now... While the doubt continues in the air we can't know how the future of Bitcoin will look like, especially because there is some risk to have a hardfork, making Bitcoin split into 2 or more new currencies, I'm not a specialist, but I believe it's really bad for Bitcoin's future. Why do people insist in splitting the currency and risking its future?
2026  Economy / Economics / Re: Who supplies us bitcoin? on: July 09, 2017, 02:27:15 AM
Bitcoin, in my opinons has had it up and downs, but who supplies us bitcoin? Faucets can only supply so much before it gets closed down. So that's not a big supplier. Working for bitcoin has declined. I used to make videos and earn bitcoins. But that site has closed down like every other sites or faucets. So who supplies us bitcoins nowadays? Tell us please!
The miners are the ones who give us bitcoin. Currently there are 21 million bitcoins. If you have finance you can buy bitcoin through exchange with others. The bitcointalk forums will also help you pretty much.

There aren't 21 millions of Bitcoin already mined. There will be 21 millions in many decades yet... However many of them will be out of control, as people lose wallet's passwords, so their Bitcoins will be inaccessible forever. It's hard to know how many Bitcoins will be circulating on the market... The prediction is that the last BTC block will be mined in 2140, after this day the primarily source of BTC will be gone...
2027  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New Bitcoin Faucet, 150 Sat, 70% Chance, only 15 Minutes on: July 09, 2017, 02:10:02 AM
Amazing rewards, we can earn minimum more than $0.01 hourly using this faucet just by claiming 4 times.

Unfortunatelly you aren't using FaucerHub.io, the most popular micro payment system...  Sad
2028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: July 08, 2017, 11:30:27 PM
Week 48 - Down slightly this week. I have also pulled out of all bankrolls until the Byteball airdrop occurs on the 9th of July and then will re- invest all the BTC's

Hmm, smart move... Unfortunatelly I can't cancel my investments because I will need to pay high fees on Crypto-Games.  Grin

But I think it's not too dangerous to keep the investments running, right?

I'm just a bit worried about SafeDice, their staff account posting here in BitcoinTalk Forum have said "Recently some investors withdrew a large amount of coins". And now looking your SafeDice results (the profit decreased considerably), maybe gamblers are lefting the site and that is the reason investors are removing their investments?

2031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Most Likely to Happen on August 1? on: July 08, 2017, 10:42:02 PM
Experts are saying that there's a pretty high chance for a split. Some people say that a split will move Bitcoin's value down but I don't think that's what will happen. I think post-split things will be much clearer and the decentralized Bitcoin will have more room to grow

If over 80% of miners are running the btc1 client by August 1 there will be no split. Control of bitcoin will transfer from Core to the developers behind btc1 however. Here is a guide to the action.

Wow, this situation is so confuse... Too many "Bips" and different Bitcoins. Seems it will be impossible to avoid a hard-fork, no? Because there are those Bitcoin ABC, 148 Bitcoin, NewPow Bitcoin, Legacy Bitcoin...

I think it's too early to have a prediction, maybe in 2-3 weeks we can have a more accurated prediction about it.
2032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What Is Most Likely to Happen on August 1? on: July 08, 2017, 05:08:10 PM
There are much speculation about "buy more Bitcoin", "wait August 1 to accumulate more Bitcoins"...

But it's not so clear yet, what are the chances to have a split on the chain? High? Low? 50%/50%?

What is most likely to happen? (expert's opinions if possible, please).
2033  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New Doge Faucet on: July 08, 2017, 04:02:24 PM
Got 0.5 DOGE, thank you.

I think the rewards are good for who uses 5 minutes faucets. You can earn minimum 1.2 DOGE hourly using this faucet every 5 minutes. With some luck (5% chance), maybe can earn 1 DOGE. Fast to claim, I hope you create more faucets with other currencies too, good luck.
2034  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: July 08, 2017, 03:34:42 AM
i may prefer holdings of bitcoins , than gold , if this is a literal gold i would love to keep it , if its not im on btc , because years pass by , it will be higher and higher , what im telling is the value of the bitcoin will be higher and higher
Agreed, when years passed the growth with bitcoin will be in multiples of the value of gold, because in just around 8-9years it has provided with such a big growth. So it's always good to hold bitcoin if you're focused towards a better profiting and have a risking mind.

The investors must always update themselves about what is new in the market, for now we have Bitcoin, the new investment trend, much more profitable than gold FOR NOW, so I think it's much better to exchange a good part of your money to Bitcoin to hold it for some time. We don't know for how long Bitcoin will be profitable, if for some reason BTC becomes weak I'm sure gold will be a good option to choose again.

Hey, what does that "DSDG5442" username mean at "Top 1" of Members tab?

Total earned status is in "INF BTC", is it a bug?
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: July 08, 2017, 12:48:12 AM
Hey people,

I've always been a huge gambler. I like creating useless schemes (as we all know bank always win ^^) and betting whole nights long in order to find THE right way of betting.
But I need change, I can't bet over and over on the same game cause after I see that nothing can be done to change the odds, I'm bored.

So I thought a bit about trading and I started not so long ago. and it feels a bit like a betting game without knowing the odds and with an infinity of parameters!

Does anyone else takes trading as a gambling game? Smiley

Trading is almost like gambling. Especially if it is not skill based but relies more on luck than anything else.

The best thing to do is long-term investment, especially in stuff like real estate, gold, bitcoin and companies, that will give you long-term and stable growth. It won't come overnight, but definitely will grow larger in the future.

I prefer to go by this way you pointed too, solid and safe investments. But traders and gamblers are looking for instantly profit, it's a different kind of investor, some of them because they need money to invest in something bigger like real estates, but others because they want simpler ways to make profit and with high % returns. Trading and gambling are almost the same if we consider sports betting instead of Dice game to make the comparison.

2038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose casino to play? on: July 08, 2017, 12:09:46 AM
in my area there are very limited number of casino because casinos are not legal here. in fact we mostly visit a single casino for a long time and never feel to chance the casino. in face we want to play gambling in such a casino where there is no risk to be caught by the police for illegal activity.

If you fear the risk to be caught by police forces by illegal activity you should gamble only at online casinos with Crypto-Currency. There isn't any mention in the law as the online casinos we have here don't use fiat and aren't at your country domains. Maybe one or two countries have already a regulation about it, but most of them don't. Visit trusted online casinos we have here on forum being promoted and you will be fine.
2039  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: July 07, 2017, 11:55:15 PM
Here is the email I sent to them (their official bitcointalk ann is locked) today both their support@coinpot.co and enquires@moonbit.co.in

I have used third party collection sites in the past, and most if not all of them have been rip offs in the end. And now I understand your group of faucets have started your own third party collection site. I would prefer that you send my payments directly to my wallets, as your coinpot has not allowed me to sign up for an account.  Please leave those of us who want direct payments to continue.

thanks,
Rick

They have a place for bogus bitcoin operations and that is called badbitcoin.org/thebadlist  and your sites are almost on it!

Are respective faucet users forced to use this service?

If so, the faucets chose to allow this and if they did, it's because they trust the team who will run this service.

I like the idea especially for this reason:
