Please note that this thread is not self-moderated. I strongly suggest to Max and Olivier that they at least consider doing a share drop as well, instead of the conversion of XCR to shares in Lisk. This would prevent confusion to stakeholders and reduce risk by allowing people to retain their stake in Crypti. First of all, thank you for not responding in an agitated way and thank you for the suggestion. We have already thought of a solution which involves minimal risk for all Crypti holders who decide to invest into Lisk using their XCR. Do you mean that you have come up with a solution already before yesterday's announcement or are you saying that you have reconsidered after the above suggestion?  More information will follow next week about the ICO. Please present what You & Olivier had in mind without outside influences. A detailed blog post will follow soon. But here is an important part of the XCR investment method. What we had in mind without outside influences:We wanted to accept XCR at a conversion rate of 700-1000 satoshi, because the price rose we adjusted it to 1300 satoshi. What we now have in mind after we talked with several community members:We still accept XCR at a value of 1300 satoshi per token. However, within a 4 weeks period after the mainnet launch everyone who invested with XCR can get a refund. That means it will be possible for them to get all their XCR back, if they send us the exact same amount of LISK they received in the beginning. This reduces the risk for Crypti changers to zero.  |

If you didn't see it starik, we already forked Crypti and implemented various features into it. On the frontend and backend! You also shouldn't underestimate our abilities. Time will tell you.  Are you saying you do not need to hire core developer? Fair question. Are you? Please don't twist my words Starik. I said that Olivier is suited more than enough (in terms of skill) to work on the Lisk core. I never said that we won't take more developers into our team. Our long-term goal is to make the development self-sustainable, the forging rewards will tremendously help with that. That means we will push Lisk to become an open source development project with many contributors. |

So here are only some pr guy and some tools guy hoping to collect funds to hire coder to fork Crypti?  Nice plan!  Oh, again the same problem of finding delegates. 1. We have implemented "forging rewards" in addition to network transaction fees, so there will be a very good incentive for running a delegate. This tiny "rewards" never work in PoS  btw, Crypty also has some rewards, but still - I operate 36 / 101 delegates on the network (I have been the most loyal supporter of the network from day one).
 If you didn't see it starik, we already forked Crypti and implemented various features into it. On the frontend and backend! You also shouldn't underestimate our abilities. Time will tell you. The rewards aren't tiny. The amount is equivalent to the forging of other crypto-currencies. In the first year 15M LISK will be generated by community run delegates, this amount will go down every year. We will issue a blog post with more details about the forging. Also Crypti doesn't have rewards. It only pays the network fees to the users. |

Olivier and Max leave Crypti to establish Lisk!Hello Crypti community, With a heavy heart we (Olivier and Max) are announcing are immediate departure from the Crypti Foundation today. The past 18 months have been awesome, we learned and worked an extreme amount, formed great friendships with many community members, and created a strong bond with the Crypti network. Unfortunately, our passion and combined work force couldnt find full potential within the Crypti Foundation. Lengthy polls and no clear management resulted in a huge lack of progress. We are both big open source fans and tried our best to make Crypti more open and public. We created a proposal to build out Crypti into a popular open source project, but it wasnt well received by the foundation. Therefore we decided to leave Crypti and fork it. Make it better and take it to the next level. Fortunately Crypti is being released under The MIT License which makes our actions possible. This was the beginning of Lisk, an evolution of Crypti. A new EcosystemTo make Lisk a reality we worked over the past month to completely re-create the Crypti ecosystem under our new brand. You can check out our awesome new website and faucet. You can also take a look at our new Lisk.Chat and our Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Reddit pages. Obviously we also created our own forum, Bitcoin Talk and Bitcoin.com Thread. To better cater for developers we started a GitHub organization and added a new documentation section to our website. The documentation page is still work-in-progress, so you may find a few links (e.g. the APIs) are offline. We will configure them as soon as possible. New FeaturesDuring the past month we made significant efforts to improve the existing client. The design was re-branded and we cleaned out the whole frontend code base, in which we still found many fragments of very early Crypti versions. We also fixed many browser related issues, logical errors (e.g. that you can add yourself to the contact book), and generally improved the whole consistency of its design. As a new feature of the network itself, we have implemented Forging Rewards which on the one hand creates a bigger incentive to secure our blockchain and on the other hand rewards the delegates for keeping their nodes online. More information about the forging rewards can be found in our FAQ > Economy > How are LISK created?. We also changed the transaction fee to a constant 0.1 LISK, from the previously 0.1% of the transacted amount. This prevents dust from accumulating and makes performing exact LISK transactions much easier for the average user. Financing our PlansIn order to kick start our platform, i.e. pay for developers and marketing, we will hold an ICO starting 22nd February 2016, in which we will accept Bitcoin, Crypti and Ethereum. At this point we can only say that we will keep a constant conversion rate for your Crypti at 1300 satoshi per XCR. We feel this provides a fair value to your XCR and creates an escape route to a fresh project for the whole Crypti community. More details will be published soon.
