Exchange #873, Transaction ID: 15045432873722411238, 149.000 XCR -> LISK.
Gestartet am 22.02. um 22:53h. Also über 8 Stunden.

knapp 3 Monate unentwegt laden durfte?
Liegts vielleicht doch an was anderem?

Smiley

Hallo an Allen,

Schon beantwortet.

Smiley

After i stopped my delegate Roll Eyes

From this I think something is very wrong with Crypti (and Lisk) Angry

I have similar experience, the load on the system from running Crypti is too high, I stopped running it. A bad design?

I don't see anything wrong. The load on the system is not high, it can even run on a 9$ computer called C.H.I.P., check this out:

How do u see yourself compared to Ethereum, Are they gonna live side by side or will 1 take over?

In my opinion we will be side by side. Everyone finds his niche, some niches are bigger than others. Wink

Yep!

"Hello. There has been widespread mis-reporting that ShapeShift is partnering with LISK for their ICO. This is NOT the case, we are in no way affiliated with, partnering with, or hosting Lisk's ICO despite reports to the contrary. As far as we know LISK may be utilizing our Shifty button to help process some payments (which anyone is free to do) but we have no partnership with them in an official capacity what-so-ever.

We have in the past partnered with one other company to help with the crowdsale but have since decided to no longer offer this service as we are focusing more of our efforts in other avenues.

Regards,

ShapeShift Team"

LiskHQ, care to comment this?

The partnership announcement was in mutual agreement. I contacted Erik this morning regarding this message, asked what's it about and how we can clear up any misunderstandings. Smiley

Hi @LiskHQ, is there any update on this subject?
Can you please clarify if there's a partnership between Lisk and Shapeshift or not?

Thanks!

Erik hasn't answered me yet about his current stance of the whole topic. We want to solve this matter as fast possible.

I can only repeat myself, that Erik explicitly allowed me to call our cooperation a "partnership". We use their API to be able to accept Altcoins, they get more volume though this.

2FA on the ICO Website

We will now push an update to the ICO website which introduces 2-factor-authentication (2FA) for every user! We advise everyone to activate 2FA to tighten up the security of your account to a maximum. It makes it impossible for any other person besides yourself to enter your account.

Earlier today I sent a tweet to ShapeShift and they replied soon after, here's the link: https://shapeshift.io/site/blog/2016/02/23/shapeshift-response-lisk-announcement

We are currently posting a statement on our blog as well. Please stay tuned. Smiley

Hi Max,

We are now almost two days in the ICO. How would you qualify the progress so far?

Great! We are very happy with the progress and looking forward to the other 27 days. This week we are working hard to polish the ICO page up, so it continues to run reliable. Smiley

I use w10 with Edge. The download keys button was not working. Nothing happened when I pushed the button.

I wrote down the passphrase, Address and the public key before I clicked the accepted button.

Is that OK or am I lost now  Huh

If the shown Lisk Address is the same, as you wrote down. Then you are good to go and safe! Smiley

All Money is held in Escrow

The ICO takes place on the 22nd February and will end on the 21st March.

All BTC will directly go into a 2-of-3 multi-signature Coinbase vault. That means the money can only be withdrawn if two of the three signees agree.

Therefore we have partnered up with two trusted and reputable individuals who will get one key to the multi-signature vault each.

• Axel Hellinger alias iudica, German Lawyer at Kanzlei Hellinger
• Paul Klanschek alias TwinWinNerD, CEO of Coinimal
---

How can we verify this?

What are the btc wallet adresses?

Can Lisk publicly display all the current BTC wallets holding the funds? Lisk has been transparent throughout the ICO and imo this should be publicly available.

The coinbase multi-signature vault provides maximum security. Therefore they don't have a single address at which the BTC are. We can't show the wallet address. I made a screenshot, so you confirm that there really are over 700 BTC in our wallet. Smiley

Please also note that we are currently checking something on the ICO page. So it can come to short interruptions. This has nothing to do with the 2FA. Smiley

Edit: Finished, all checks are done. Smiley

Does anyone from LISK team know how much BTC did every LISK ICO participant put in average?

to modify this question: Is there a way to find out how many people registered and deposited?

On https://ico.lisk.io/ you can check the latest amounts. Later we will also add it to the website with the number of participants. Smiley

Why are you guys so focused on the number of LISK you will get? It's irrelevant! The number will decrease as long as the ICO is running. The value will be the same in the end.

When the ICO ends, you can use these calculation sheets:
https://i.imgur.com/H40ilfu.jpg

https://i.imgur.com/mR9DNQf.jpg

Please note that these calculation can only be used before during the ICO and before you participate. If you want to calculate it after you already participated or at the end of the ICO you have to remove the "MyInvestedBTC" in the denominator. Smiley

I have a question regarding early-adopters bonuses.
Where do they come from ? Are they from the foundation Lisk coins stock ?

The bonus is just a bonus at the calculations. That means if you have exchanged 1 BTC in the first week, they will count as 1.15 BTC. But we won't buy 0.15 BTC extra from the exchanges. Smiley

If you are talking about the day 1 reward, then we will take them from our own LISK.

@ LISK

Could you tell me the difference between LISK and CRYPTI
You state

Although Lisk is based on Crypti and is essentially a fork by official ex-members of the Crypti Foundation, our whole general approach will be entirely different.

Does this mean that LISK is essentially a rebranded CRYPTI?

I saw that you made a Lisk VS Ethereum diagram.

However i would like to know LISK VS CRYPTI.
I don't have much time to research the ins and outs of CRYPTI, so please be clear.

Secondly, where can i see where you are spending the funds ?

Thirdly why is there only one developer working on this? are you going to be hiring some more with the funds?

Would it be possible to extend the DAPPS programming capabilities beyond JS/Node in LISK?
Also please explain Shapeshift disassociation to this?

Thanks

1. Lisk is and will be an advancement of Crypti.
2. Check this post for a few differences in the "approach": https://blog.lisk.io/lisk-a-new-approach-90f25a53dd59#.s3zb6q5bv
3. Main difference between Lisk and Crypti currently are the forging rewards. However, over the next months there will be many more features introduced. Check out:
4. There is only one full stack developer (+ me as well, but only frontend) working on this, because we just launched 23 days ago. Once we settled down we will obviously hire new developers. Smiley
5. It's possible to extend. But we won't, JS is one of the most known language in the world. We will stay simple, lean and focused.
6. We are using ShapeShifts API calls and exchange to convert numerous altcoins into BTC, so they can be used for our ICO.

As promised, added Hebrew translation to the OP, you can find it here:

Please help me guys!

I want to send my XCR to the fund raiser, and right now they are on Poloniex.

I tried to register to the Crypti web wallet, but Google keep stating that the site is at risk of Phishing as it is listed as Lisk.io instead of http......

thought of sending them straight through Polo, but then i wont have a pass phrase to deliver in the ICO registration

Anyone got an idea?

Go to https://cryptiwallet.lisk.io/ and setup a Crypti account there. This site is SAVE, but please check that you are indeed on our site!

After you setup an account there, send your XCR to this account. Then you can participate in the ICO with XCR.

Looks nice, i would liked to have invested more, but given all money invested into own projects,
i was just able to by 135000 Lisk for now, i hope can get some more as soon as possible.

I am very impressed to see a Project that is that well thought and advanced
implemented already at launch time. A thought to the discussion about greedy or not gready ,
one should take into account, that this work is already done to provide a useful set of functions.
I prefer to finance  a project properly, if it is beginning as promising as this one,
the money is well earned. I am interested to make a project stronger when joining, it benefits my profits.

I hope you will come to the Aachener Bitcoin Meetup tomorrow.

How do you know if you made the cut for the first day bonus?

We will release a list at the end of the ICO. Please wait until then. If your BTC TX received its first confirmation before 23rd 6:30AM (GMT+1) you should be fine.

LiskHQ could you make at OP a countdown for every week's events.

Yes, we will add a countdown to the website. We also fixed the countdown on the ICO page so there is no problem anymore with different time zones.

they deleted all my posts.

I will watch you. let's guess how soon he will delete my post.

Haha! Nice try! We can't delete posts here, because this thread is NOT moderated. Wink

Should I start whining that I've missed 1st day reward )?

No, you should be happy that you can still receive a 15% bonus for about 6 days! Smiley

Ok...so I sent 0.05 BTC, and it looks like I have 4477 Lisk.
Is that right? And where are they?  Huh

Hello, the 4477 LISK are only an estimate of the current exchanged BTC. Over the course of the next weeks more BTC will be exchanged and your number of LISK will go down. Others have explained it very well already.

The LISK itself doesn't exist right now, because we will only launch at the end of March. With the passphrase you receive during the ICO you have the cryptographically proof, that you are the owner of those LISK. Nobody else has this passphrase.

Why are people dumping so much BTC into this ICO?

The previous project of the LISK developers, crypti, is not massively successful.  History of low trading volume and sub-1000 btc market cap.

What makes you think they will be massively successful with their new LISK project?

Crypti has wandered in the wilderness for almost two years trying to perfect something different and special in the cryptocoin world.  We won't even go into their code failures, which were legitimate attempts to develop something new and worthwhile.  Give the Crypti team this, they never gave up.  Their latest direction - side chains / dapps written in JavaScript that can be run with microcomputer boards - is a brilliant idea that has successfully made it to "alpha" / "beta" status.   The 0.5.5 code base is ready to go.  However, time and attrition had sapped Crypti of funds, key personnel and a team agreement of what to do next.

Lisk is an attempt to take Crypti to the next level with a solid code base, the most enthusiastic members of the Crypti team, and a second round of funding for a start-up.

When you eject deadwood, keep the green shoots, mix in fresh blood and money on the right idea at the right time -  that's when you have a shot at going places.  And being massively successful.

That's what I believe about Lisk.

Crypti raised 8500 BTC and issued 100,000,000 XCR in return, back in July 2014

Now Crypti market cap is down to 1000 BTC, initial investors lost 88% of their BTC.

I think it's crazy to expect anything different from the same people doing the same thing again under a new name.

Crypti raised 750 BTC and has a current market cap of 1153 BTC. Smiley
