Aside from SMB and TNT, Gin kings is also one of the favorite during an import conference, Brownlee vs Powell. I love to see how Brownless will take this as a personal challenge.

For sure our local teams won't allow the dominance of Bay Area Dragons at this conference.

SMB, TNT, and Gin Kings might be pumped up now and really eager to face this big team as much as possible.

It's a disgrace if big local teams like SMC teams and MVP teams will be defeated easily by Bay Area Dragons where mid-team Northport almost beat them.

Hoping that pride still inside our local teams and not just for the sake of money or business, After seeing that game against NP it really exploit that the visiting team is not as dominance as we think they are, facing a heavyweight squad which composed of talents they will really have a problem with our locals.

Mentioning also the chemistries that already been established after that all-pilipino season, SMB is no longer a Fajardo centered team.
Perez and Cruz are attacking with the ball while Tau and Manuel are there to battle for the rebound and receive the extra past.

While the original members of the death 5 still towering over the entire team, the role players are also helping they are really playing as one.

On the other hand, it looks like Tolentino going to the NorthPort is really a good move because he and Bollick are the top scorers of team right now. If he will continue, Tolentino will be the one who help Bollick offensively and after a few years, SMC and MVP will try to get him "again". Ooops!! .

Also I will not get surprised if Bollick will be out on North Porth and go to either on SMC or MVP group because this is what mostly happen to their stars recently. If I recall it right, Romeo was traded to TNT first before moving to SMB, I was in the impression that after Alapag retired Romeo will be a good replacement since TNT was known to a dribble and drive system and Romeo is really fit to that gameplay, but when the time Romeo already catching up and making his resume for the TNT, it was a surprise trade between TNT and SMB not sure what happen behind but it was a lucky trade for Romeo because after that he won a title plus a final's MVP.

Moving back to that topic, do you read the latest post of Slaughter? Not sure if I get it right, but he's mentioning that NP is not a winning team, not directly as controlled by another big name aside from the owner and coaches. There are some behind influence.

I don't know since Gregg is really upset with how NP work with his career, not giving him his expected contract.

I don't get it too! they are playing for the whole conference so they should be rewarded/awarded to the effort that they've done, it will be a big challenge to our locals to perform well as the individual awards can be taken by the visiting team, I don't know why PBA dictate that only the team award can be taken but not the individual, maybe it's better for the league facilitators especially the commissioner to review this rules and be appreciative with how the foreign team dedicate their time to join the league.

It looks like PBA is not acknowledging the talent of those individual players who are showing great sportsmanship right not. The team will be recognized as they'll be getting the championship title if they win that. But not recognizing those individual talents, this is really something crazy that these commissioners are thinking.
They're part of the league, even they're just a guest, they should be recognized for their talent. If an MVP is from the guest team, why they're not going to give it to him? What's something hard on that? Because of pride? That because of the teams are being exposed that they've become a farm team? Come on, Kume, they can do something better or else, other local leagues like MPBL, Filbasket and the others will cover those negligence they do.

They can revise that rule if it's already in history. But this would really discourage the other potential guest teams that are throwing their hats for the next conference. Most fans now are open minded and we're not bias if the management and the league is honest. But, we all know that the league is becoming a joke anymore and it's sad to see that whenever I go in the comments section of pages related to PBA, most comments are making fun of the league and its officials.

Well, it might be true, or it might be not because if you will look at the schedule of the Dragons, their first 4 games really are against those independent teams.

It's their league so they can do what they want to do because after all, we have a puppet commissioner. A puppet to these 2 big companies so he will follow what these 2 companies will say just to have advantage over the other team.

It will make sense for these top tier teams but for me as a watcher, it doesn't make any sense. I mean they can prepare but the other team can still prepare to them as well because for sure, they watched some of their games and know how to adjust to their playstyle. The thing is that Powell who is dominating the league offensively will not play against these 2 big companies, and this might the chemistry of the Dragons because he will only play in the first 4 games and that is against those independent teams.

But unfortunately they got all bashing from their supposed to be fans and people are losing interest to watch every game. We can feel it actually by their attendees also they are not gaining any sympathy towards the action they do because we all know that what's happening there is pure politics and only those big companies are benefiting while the independent ones are suffering. If they cannot change their system maybe for sure we can see the full collapsed of PBA and fans is starting to move on since there is MPBL which is I think the fans favorite at the moment since it represent the city not the company as what I read in the comments in social media.

There's no need to talk about the obvious and I've seen lots of posts here already suggesting solutions to make PBA more interesting to watch. With all the drama, it's not good for the PBA because star players are leaving but PBA still did not make action to improve the league.

Manipulating the game schedules is too much and i don't think they did that because as per observation, it is usually the teams that exited early on the last conferences will have to play a game or two before the teams that have played on the semi-finals and finals of that conference, might be a sort of favor for them to extend their rest period.

Tomorrow, Ginebra will be playing against ROS, let us see if the arena will be filled.
